The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Dr. VanDeKamp is working with one other healer to heal the population of the school on the viral level. The other healers are working to boister his and the other healer's overall well-being.
Dr. VanDeKamp heals by skin-to-skin contact, his touch clearing out any forign agents in a person's body. This includes, viruses, medication, pins, plates, and what have you.
He's really not going to have any free time, but if she wants to talk while he clears some students, he'd be fine with that. He could use the stress relief.
"Tests over at the center show that it can be destroied the same way most can- via steryalization. It's just once it comes in contact with a mutant that we really need to worry about it." He points out.
*Del nodds and heads off to find what she can here off heat. She keeps Apollo as entertained as she can and there is minimal fussing. After a half hour she returns with six suitable mutants. She explains what they need to do, set the mansion on fire without actually setting it on fire, nothing too complicated.* Ok, Dr. VanDeKamp this is our flame and weather and heat mutants, do we know if everyone has been evacuated for sure?
*In that case I will have the healers take these guys up stairs and 'bake the mansion' literally. When they come back they can be rehealed and released. *Del says, restating the plan.*
"An excellent plan of action." Dr. VanDeKamp hisses and pulls his hand back as his fingers are almost flash frozen by a student. "Damnit, I asked that the students with bad skin-to-skin contact be put in /that/ line so I'd be warned!"
*Delphi tries to cover her smile descretely, but holding Apollo is a bit of a hassal.* I'll send them up then and leave a healer with you. *Del offers as she orginazes and despenses 'troops' as if it is a natural thing.*
Yes, well once I am done I can stay here and warn you if you like. *Del offers as she send the student-healer teams to pre assigned wings of the mansion.*
