The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Iris led the way the infirmary as quickly, and as quietly, as possible. She wanted to avoid running into Tricity or one of her assistants if at all possible. Eventually they found the right door, and she motioned for one of the guys to open it for her. She maneuvered inside, careful not to bump Nika or make any noise, since it looked like a couple of the cots were occupied.
She guessed that there would be at least a nurse on duty, even at the late hour, simply because it was a mansion full of mutants. Two words; ‘unpredictable events’. However she was surprised to see an older gentleman sitting in a nearby chair, reading beneath a lamp. He glanced up as they entered, as if he were looking over the top of a pair of glasses.
“Um...Hello. Sir.” Iris cleared her throat nervously. “We...um...we were....practicing. In the Danger Room. I guess things got a little...intense...” ‘Intense’ meaning that Kesuk was still breathing hard, Jason looked as if he just come out of a street brawl, Iris was flustered and disheveled, and Nika was out cold.
The man quietly closed his book. He stood and motioned toward the nearest empty bed.
“Set her here, gently.” His voice was very calm and soothing, like a favorite grandfather. Iris obeyed quickly, then stepped back as he sat next to the bed. He placed one hand on either side of Nika’s face. Iris watched in fascination as his hands began to glow golden. She looked at Kesuk and Jason to see their reactions.
“She is simply exhausted,” the man soon announced quietly. His hands stopped glowing, and he turned to look at the other three. “A good night’s rest will set her right." His gaze shifted to Jason, and he motioned for him to take a seat.
Kesuk follwed Iris to the Infirmary, and opened the door for her. Then Kesuk also noticed the older man sitting nearby and and he had told Iris to set her on an empty cot .When Iris had set her down Kesuk walked to the side of the cot and stood there holding her hand, looking down at her with concern. But immediatly after the man walked up to her, and put his hands on her face, there after his hands began to glow. Kesuk had noticed Iris look at him and Kesuk looked back her with a sense of confusion on his face. When he had told them that Nika was all right they were all relieved. Then the doctor had told Jason to come. Kesuk could care less about Jason and went back to Nika side. He had held her hand and gave it a quick kiss and set his head down on her cot. Kesuk had been thinking how could he let this happen to Nika

“Doc I got this all I need is some bandages and a little tap and I will be just fine.” Jason said with a little frustration in his tone. This wasn’t the first time something like this has happen. Well to tell the truth this was far from the first time something like this had happen. The doc just shrugged his shoulders and went back to attending to Nika. Jason looked on the table and saw a a few rolls of bandages. Wrapping them around make them nice and tight Jason looked over at Kesuk. “Hey rain man, you look like you never had any post fight experience. This kinda stuff happens its not your fault.” He said in a nice calm reassuring voice. “But if you wasn’t trying impress her so much and just do what you had to do maybe a lot of this wouldn’t have happen… So I guess we can say its your fault. Some boyfriend you are. Jason said as he finished up bandaging his arms given Kesuk a nice little smile.

Iris shot an irritated look at Jason. "Well aren't you kind?" she snipped before Kesuk could say anything.
Since she wasn't actually injured, just a bit sore, she moved away from the bed and out of the doctor's way. "Not everyone is used to brawling all the time. Don't you ever get tired of fighting?" She guessed from all of the scars that he was used to this type of thing. She glanced at the bandages. "What was that silver stuff anyway?"

“What was that silver stuff?” Iris had asked Jason. Jason looked down and saw little red dots where the blood was still bleeding through the bandage. Jason didn’t feel as much of the pain as he should since a lot of the nerves in his arm were pretty much dead. Jason’s head rose as he began to answer Iris. “Well I don’t really know what to tell you. I mean when I bleed the blood just tends to turn in to a thin but extremely strong metal.” Jason started to squeeze his hand balling it in to a fist. “But lately I been able to kinda form the metal at will…not perfectly to what I want but it seems to do the job.” Jason looked back at Iris. “So yeah that’s about all I know.”

"Blood?? Oh.... So then, back there, you were.... bleeding?" Iris paled slightly, remembering that, at one point, he'd seemed to be covered in the silvery stuff. She cringed and looked at him in disbelief. "And that doesn't hurt you??" She had a high pain tolerence, but just the thought that he'd been bleeding that much sent a shiver up her spine. Also, suddenly she felt guilty for having snapped at him.
Nika twitched, and Iris momentarily tensed. She glanced at the doctor.
"She's fine. Simply dreaming, no doubt," he assured her. Iris nodded and sunk into a chair by the door. He stood and returned to his original seat. "However, I do have one question," he added as he opened his book and found his page. Without looking up he finished, "Which team won?"
Iris's eyes widened and her jaw dropped. "Crystal!" She was up off the seat and out the door within seconds, headed back to the Danger Room to retrieve her phone. The DocProf chuckled quietly and continued reading.

((sorry it took me like eight years, Nika))
Getting her scars checked from the fight with sapphire a week ago, Daria entered the infirmary to talk to the Doc. He sat reading and she noticed Nika was out cold on a cot. She noticed a boy was with her and smiled slightly, remembering how Mike had spent all that time with her when she was in the infirmary...mostly because he needed to be there too.
"What happened to Nika?" Daria asked, one ear flopping over. The doc smiled "a little danger room trouble, nothing big."
Daria nodded. "right...is she going to be okay?" "Of course," he smiled amused. "what?" she demanded. "Aren't you happy about having another feline friend around?" "what's that supposed to mean?" The doc just chuckled. "You seem to like her." "Of course i do. You know how Mike and I are about all the kids who come here. We're like surrogate parents." The doc just shrugged. "I'm fascinated that you're mutations are very different." "I'd love to hear more about that later." Daria said sincerely. She looked out the window into the garden and teleported several of the flowers to the room. The nurse put them in a vase for her and she set them next to Nika's bed.
"A little get well soon gift." she announced to all those in the room. She touched Nika's ear gently and smiled at Kesuk.
"If you're anything like my fiance," she began, "I know saying 'it's not your fault' is totally relevant." she laughed.
Nika's ear flicked as if trying to shoo a fly when Daria touched it. Her nose twitched slightly and she started sniffing. Though her eyes were still closed she spoke and tried to keep up her ever cheery mood. "Mmmm flowers. Did I fall asleep outside?"
The young cat girl slowly opened her eyes and looked around. Kesuk was next to her, Jason was being bandaged up, Daria was also next to her on the other side and she saw a nurse and a Doctor. Smiling at Kesuk and Daria, as they ere the closest to her, Goodmorning Daria and Kesuk. I'm sorry for falling sleep. It must not've been a good movie."
"I think I'm ok." Nika slowly sat up, but as she did she let out a soft little moan. "Man, that Danger Room sure doesn't let you forget you were in there. I'm so sore. That crazy farmer blind sided me with that shovel and..." Nika stopped as she wasn't quite sure if they were in trouble for being in the Danger Room. "...how's your day going Daria?"

Now that Daria was Tricity's assistant she couldn't just let it slide.
"You guys shouldn't be in the Danger Room unsupervised, you're underage, yada yada. One of the older students will always be happy to take you if you just ask." she said it in a kind voice, not chastising.
"My day is fine." she added, letting them know she wasn't going to punish them. "Just came for some pain killers and ointment." she laughed holding up her bag of Medicine from the Doc.

Daria laughed. "no, I could never be. It's not my specialty. I had a little scuffle of my own a week back and i have stitches that are killing me. The ointment is to make the scars go away." she gently patted her stomach.
"being an x-man is dangerous.' she concluded with a grin.
'You're an X-Man? Wow, that must be soo cool." Nika's eyes widened in amazement. "So what happened to you that you needed stitches? I've never had stitches but I hear that they're no fun to get." Nika took off her collar to show Daria her scar on her neck and then she lifted her shirt up on one side just far enough to show her other major scar. "See, no stitches and I'm still tickin"
