Eyes: Cobalt Blue
Height: 7’3” (Shoulder to Foot), 12’2” (Standing)
Build: Heavy
Visible mutation: Her entire body is a clear visible mutation, with glowing cobalt blue eyes, oozing saliva, six bulky limbs, a large toothy maw, a glowing lantern, and shadowy gray skin, she kind of stands out in the crowd. This form is her current form after going through a long painful mutation, she isn’t able to shift back to her normal form unfortunately is stuck with the large abominable body of hers. It’s rather difficult to hide such a highly distinctive mutation and grand frame. She has a hefty, large body; the majority of her composition is from muscular and skeletal weight, but a large percentage of it is fat, the fatty layer is one of the outer most layers and thus cushion her muscles, but her muscles amplify her fat deposits giving her a slightly pudgy appearance, although it’s primarily heavy set and muscular.
Scars/ Tattoos/ Piercings: She has upon her front shoulders tribal symbols tattooed; they were done after her mutation, performing the act with stolen supplies and tools from a local tattoo parlor.
Other features: Beyond the information given above, Rachel has a long blue colored tongue, sharp spinal ridges moving down her back, as well as a muscular prehensile tail. Her mutation has removed almost all of who she was physically, thus there’s little to her that gives off any hint of her previous feminine appearance. As result of her mutation her reproductive organs are no longer visible and are internal in a similar manner to a reptile, she also no longer has mammary glands due to the mutation.
Everyday clothing style: Essentially Rachel sports very little in terms of articles of clothing, the only thing that could be remotely considered would be collars, and scarves that she occasionally wears around her neck, that is if they can fit. She also carries a small gray tote bag that is tightly wrapped around her right mid limb.
Uniform: N/A
Sleepwear: N/A
Miscellaneous clothing: Although she doesn’t wear them all the time, Rachel has glasses to aid in her vision. She is unfortunately near sighted, and thus can’t read things, or see much else beyond a nearby range. Her glasses have the temples removed from them, so they can be worn at eye level, as they don’t necessarily fit upon her head. When not wearing them she keeps them in a glasses case, which is located inside the bag on her second right arm. She also has a tendency to wrap barbed chains around her arms and legs for increased damage when preparing to fight; she keeps these in a metal mesh bag within her tote bag.
CharacterPersonality: Despite her monstrous appearance, Rachel is mainly who she was prior to her mutation in terms of her personality. She’s a playful, and curious individual, but also one capable of responsibility and tranquility. She always enjoys a good joke, an amusing prank, or just anything of a jovial nature basically, she’s not always the life of the party, but happily enjoys being a spectator or taking a minor role in the turning wheels of fate. She loves to tease and mess around with those around her, be they friend or foe, almost in a sadistic manner, she usually keeps her jokes in check, but every so often a joke goes too far. When not toying with life, Rachel is the type to sit back and enjoy a good novel, paint a lovely picture, or listen to a beautiful piece of music. She is responsible enough to tidy up her own belongings as well as those of others, and usually after having her fun she’s the one to clean up after it, feeling the need as to not throw her burdens onto another. Usually she’s more peaceful when alone, and more talkative and playful when around others, but this isn’t necessarily a restriction of when she acts as so and may come to surprise at times.
Time to time Rachel’s less desirable personality traits emerge, she’s not exactly an angel. Although generally a peaceful, calm, reasonable person, when in a bad mood she tends to have problems controlling her anger if provoked, to the point of destroying nearby furniture, structural supports, or other common household items. She doesn’t like to place burdens on others, but often does so when suffering from emotional issues, and problems of the sort. From taking her anger out on someone else, or crying excessively when on someone else’s shoulder, she expresses her melancholy and enraged aspects quite greatly and has problems controlling them. She’s not entirely the most trust worthy friend to have around and is bound to betray if conditions are greatly against her favor. She tends to flirt generally with those she finds attractive, regardless of whether or not they share that attraction toward her, sometimes going past the line. As with lies she tells a great number of them, one must be careful when conversing lest they be fooled by a well constructed one.
At times Rachel can be impulsive in her actions, doing things without thinking things out, and out of sudden desire alone. Of course she keeps her impulses to a certain degree of control and sometimes stops herself from doing things that could lead to serious consequences. She readily tries new things out, explores, and leads a life that follows along the lines of the phrase “Carpe Diem”. She tries to live her life to the fullest despite what hardships and issues arise, although sometimes slow to do so, she accepts her misfortunes and turns them into things that give her all the more reason to live.
Hobbies/ Interests: Rachel loves to read, her favorite genres are in horror, romance, and sci-fi. She’s also well into enjoying the acting arts, always enjoying a good play, or drama. She loves to paint and draw, and was previously a tattoo artist at her local tattoo parlor. Her favorite color is magenta and her favorite food is Sashimi. She gets rather stressed and tired without having at least six large cups of black hot coffee/black tea each day, basically she has a minor addiction to caffeine, which is amplified by her mutation. She dislikes sweet things for the most part and enjoys bitter, or sour things.
Job or part time job and description: N/A
Fears/ phobias/ concerns: She’s concerned about her appearance every so often, but has for the most part accepted it as it is, every so often though it deeply traumatizes her, to see how she’s become such a beastly creature. Rachel is heavily bothered by flight and airplanes, and dislikes air travel whenever possible, although she deeply abhors flight, she’s doesn’t suffer from aerophobia and it’s merely a severe bias against it.
Special talents: Rachel is a talented artist, having had a career as a freelance artist, as well as being a tattoo artist. She’s a decent sushi chef/chef in general having cooked wonderful meals during her time alone and while living with her family, through her experience and natural skill with the culinary field she exceeds the average everyday chef.
MoralityGood/ bad/ neutral/ other: In today’s standards Rachel would be considered bad, but more so she is teetering between bad and good, and is neutral. Her main priority is looking out for herself, but she is willing to aid others and isn’t entirely selfish. She’ll help a friend, or someone with superficial value to her, but she wouldn’t be willing to sacrifice her life to save a random nobody. She’s lived off of theft the past several years, and has consequently murdered to survive and stay hidden, but she doesn’t do so with pride. Despite her monstrous appearance and desperate lifestyle, she has not resorted to cannibalism, nor does she ever plan to. If she could find another way of life, she could potentially leave her life of theft and murder for a more virtuous one.
MutationsBestial formMutation description: Rachel’s primary mutation gave her the body of an abomination, of a monster, a fiendish appearance that most would flee from on sight. Her body is so altered from being a human’s that in terms it’s no longer a human body. Nor is her body like that of any species on Earth, more so it’s the body of a fiendish aberration, although traits from various animal species can be seen within her appearance such as that of an anglerfish, frog, lizard, and various other animals, some more subtle than others though. Despite this altered bestial form she still retains her status as a warm-blooded mammal. Rachel possesses four arms and two legs to end up with a total of six stocky limbs. She usually moves about as a Hexaped, using her front, middle, and back limbs to move about, she is capable of standing as a biped, but she prefers walking on all six of her limbs as it’s faster by about twice the speed she moves while on two.
She is equipped with several sharp spinal ridges on her back, which start from the top of her head and go down to around her lower back. They are approximately each 1-2 foot long and wide, being pointed at the back; to an extent they provide rear protection being sharp, durable, and capable of causing damage. She has a long muzzle with a mouth that is heavily lined with large pointed teeth, which can if needed be used for self-defense, or attack. Her toes and fingers each have a sharp claw at the end; rather the usual cartilage nails, these are actually extensions of her skeletal structure like her spinal ridges.
Rachel has no nose or nostril holes, and generally has no sense of smell, except through the connection to her sense of taste. She cannot actually smell, and it is usually only extremely faintly emulated whenever she tastes something, this is due to the mental connection one has with the sensations of taste and smell. She has a poorer sense of touch due to her skin being thick and low in sensitivity, so if forced into closing her eyes and closing her mouth, she really only has one normal sense, which is hearing, which still is only as strong as an average human’s. She uses her tongue as a substitute for her sense of touch as it has increased sensitivity at the tip, being only slightly more sensitive than a human hand. Her tongue also has an improved sense of taste, allowing her to catch slight differences in something’s taste, such as the difference between a couple grains of fine sugar in the sweetness of a cup of lemonade.
Bioluminescence has been one of Rachel’s most useful, yet annoying traits to keep track of throughout her past years. Her eyes as well as her tongue, saliva, and a lantern in front of her face are capable of emitting an eerie blue light in a similar manner to that of an anglerfish. The light is not controlled by her consciously, and is controlled by her autonomic nervous system, glow intensity stays the same day or night constantly, unless she’s unconscious or dead in which the light respectively becomes pale, or gone all together. The light emitted is bright enough to illuminate the immediate nearby area in a five foot radius from the part of origin, but is also bright enough to be noticed by whoever can see it. The light is weak enough in which by closing her eyes and keeping her saliva, tongue, and lantern inside her mouth, Rachel is capable of covering up the light emitted, but thus loses her vision, and capabilities of her prehensile tongue as her eyes and mouth are closed.
Her saliva is unusual indeed, but then again so is her whole body. It's comprised
of saliva, and colonies of bacteria which are excreted and bred within her mouth. The bacteria is attracted toward other objects, often congregating around objects it contacts with, giving it a sort of sticky property. It's not strong enough to hold something in place, or trap anyone, but it's capable of slowing it's descent from a wall or ceiling, dripping down eventually, but staying in place for the most part if undisturbed. The bacterium aids Rachel with bioluminescence, and in exchange the bacteria gain a place to live in, they also receive nutrients secreted from Rachel's mouth and a portion of the CO2 she exhales. The nutrients that are secreted make Rachel's saliva oddly sweet in a likeness to the taste of cane sugar. If outside her mouth the bacteria will eventually die after about an hour, unless provided with nutrients and CO2 to sustain them. The bacterium are part of her mutation and they grow and live as a part of her in a similar manner to how certain organelles within a cell are born, basically it’s her genetic code that causes her to breed these bacteria, and thus they will mutate alongside her if she is to mutate further.
Rachel requires large amounts of food to sustain both her constant bioluminescence as well as her altered body’s anatomy, and requires even greater amounts of sustenance in cold weather. She needs to eat around three times as much as a normal human when in optimal conditions, and around five times as much in below freezing temperatures. Despite the large quantity it is merely to keep her body running and in optimal condition, thus by eating quantities at this level she doesn’t gain or lose too much weight from her activities, or lack of activity.
Enhanced physical attributesMutation description: Rachel has a large muscular body covered by a thick, durable layer of leathery dark gray skin. The skin is highly resistant to physical damage, and is about as effective as a strong leather suit of armor in terms of defensive use. Alongside a thick layer of fat to cushion her skin and absorb shock damage, and having a strong set of skeletal and muscular systems, the leathery shield she has is quite effective for protection. She can take the kinetic force from an average human kick and be unfazed, a thrown brick will merely bounce right off, causing little damage to her, a heavy concrete ceiling falling on top of her will be changed from an extremely painful/fatal experience to one that is tolerable and somewhat easily recoverable. Most dull edges and weak projectiles will simply at contact with her skin, break, but a well-sharpened object, given enough force, or a projectile with enough firing power would be capable of penetrating her skin (e.g. A powerful cleave from a steel war axe with lots of momentum, or a bullet fired from a pistol or rifle in good condition). Prolonged damage in the same area with blunt item will eventually lead to the bruising of that section of the body, but normally she rarely bruises as most minor forms of damage (e.g. Being hit on the back with a thin wooden chair) cause little to no damage to her.
Her eyes, her tongue, the inside of her mouth, and basically her internal bodies are weak points, as they are not covered in her tough protective layer of skin. The insides of her joints are a weak point to an extent as well. They are weaker as they are covered in slightly thinner layers of the skin, they are not too weak to the point where an ordinary punch from a human would do much damage, but a dull blade could potentially pierce through those areas. Unlike the rest of her skin, which is far beyond capable of protecting against such attacks, the inside sections of her joint areas are with considerable force capable of being broken past with items of lower quality and strength, thus opening possibilities to weaker attacks damaging her.
As for weaknesses to other attacks, she doesn’t have all too many beyond a normal person. Her mind was for the most part left unaltered by the mutation so she basically has the same mental resistance as a normal person. Her body is less affected by electricity as she has the extra thick layer of non-conductive skin around her body, but if her tongue were to be electrocuted it would conduct easily due to the large amount of saliva upon it, and the lack of a protective layer of skin, thus sending any electrical current down her body with ease, leading to painful consequences. As she uses her tongue as her primary means of touch, there's a high chance of electrocution happening.
Despite her body being resistant to most conventional forms of physical damage, she can barely handle prolonged periods in high temperatures. She is highly prone to heatstroke, and suffers worse than an ordinary person, especially so in the case of burning fires. She can’t endure high temperatures as well as an average human could due to her large fat percentage, her body composition, and unusual anatomy. In terms of temperature resistance in hot weather, she could be compared to an average person wearing a heavy wool sweater and a thick pair of pants. As noted previously, her body has several large stores of fat here and there, thus making hot weather a drag, but keeping her well insulated from the cold, her skin is also a good heat insulator so she can last in temperatures down to -32°F without clothing. However useful that it may be, it sort of puffs up her appearance as her muscles push up against her fat. She is considerably heavy being thick boned, heavy set in muscle and fat, and so she weighs about three tons.
When on all six of her limbs she runs at a speed of about 10 mph, her movement is bulky and awkward when walking or running, beyond appearances she moves fine, and even has quite nimble and graceful fingers. If she needs to cover a large range in a short amount of time, such as to escape from danger, she’ll use her powerful legs and arms to jump great distances, rather than trying to dash out of the line of danger. She’s capable of jumping around three times her body length in one well-planned jump. Having a large amount of muscular strength in her arms and legs, she is an excellent climber capable of using her claws to aid in the process of scaling a wall. She is capable of lifting objects the size and weight of a car with ease, easily tossing, catching, and even juggling them, that is if she knew how to. Each foot has three toes, while each hand has four fingers and an opposable thumb. Rachel in a way has a seventh and eighth limb located on her rear and in her mouth. She has a long prehensile tail, as well as a long fully controllable tongue, she has relative control over both in using them like limbs, and her tail is about 2.5 meters long, while her tongue is about 2 meters long. The tail has about the same strength as her arms and legs, while her tongue is capable of lifting an object around the weight of an average human.

Fighting StyleImprovisedExplanation: Rachel has had no formal training in any kind of fighting style. Her fighting style involves use of nearby objects and surroundings, alongside her arms, legs, and natural weapons and is almost entirely thought up off the top of her head. Rachel usually gets creative with her actions and is in some ways unpredictable, giving her an advantage. But without actual training, she really is at a disadvantage against trained fighters of any fighting style, having little knowledge in terms of weak spots, how to most effectively attack, etc. She has to rely primarily on her mutant strength and advantages, while keeping close watch on her opponents to avoid them from using her weaknesses against her. As she usually doesn’t wear her glasses when fighting, she’s at a disadvantage in terms of her vision being clouded.
Pros for fighting style: · Difficult to predict
Cons for fighting style:· Lack of experience

History Of Your CharacterRachel Willie Reaux was born in Wicklow, Ireland as the second child of Annette and Pierre Reaux. Her older brother Alex Reaux had long since left the household years past to see the world and get a life of his own. Rachel was born somewhat late and both her parents were well aged by the time of her birth, luckily no birth defects of any sort occurred with her coming into the world. Nor did their age in anyway hinder or damage her early childhood as they took care of her. For the early parts of her childhood she lived in Ireland with her parents and was happy there. Her early education and live started in Ireland, but eventually at the age of five her parents moved to America, to reunite with their son and to experience American life. Having moved to the busy urban location known as New York City, Rachel’s mind was opened. It was much different than her previous surroundings, but she didn’t necessarily dislike her new home, it was different, but in no time she adapted to the new environment. It was this city that would be her home for most of her life.
Her childhood was typically like any other normal childhood, she made friends, lost them, had hardships, drama, but also good memories, and joyous birthdays. She never really grew close to her parents or brother, but she loved them all the same. As the years stacked up she went on to college, and moved into an apartment of her own. At the age of seventeen she wasn’t the prettiest freshman girl, but she wasn’t ugly either. She attempted to focus on her studies while in college, but eventually dropped out halfway through her first year due to the amount of stress she suffered, as well as the lack of attendance in class. At eighteen she went on and got a job at a local tattoo parlor, starting out via apprenticeship. She also got a job as a clerk at a local Barnes & nobles. The rest of her pay came off of paintings done during whatever free time she had.
Unlike most mutants her mutation came out during her late teens. After a year of living like a busy bee, she began to suffer from unusual events on a daily basis, most of them having to do with her body. Events such as intense headaches, violent muscle convulsions, and even going so far as to having seizures every so often, although none of these ever led to permanent damage. She often recovered from these quite rapidly, never once being sent to the ER due to the rapid recovery of these events. It was both frightening and difficult for her despite being fine after each event, she barely managed her life with these issues. Doctor’s visits were out of the question without medical insurance, so she merely brushed these events off, as they never caused real harm to her. To her relief, several months later these events stopped and seemed to be gone for good, unfortunately this was not the case. Changes within her body began to occur from there on, these changes started out initially with things such as coughing up blood, or the massive loss of hair, that wasn’t the end of things as she was fired from her jobs due to the disruption she was causing in her workplaces. After some weeks she was left homeless.
Her problems didn’t stop there, as things grew worse and worse. Rachel’s problems changed from loss of hair to massive tumors, increase in mass, change of skin texture, and skin color. As the weeks passed by these changes grew more and more frequent to the point where she was too hideous a sight to behold. She hid her diseased body into the darkness of the sewers, only coming out to find food and water, her life was truly horrid at this point and several times she contemplated suicide, and attempted to do so several times. As weeks turned to months, and months to seasons she came to terms with herself, and accepted her changes, but knew the outside world would not.
She changed her outlook on life learning to enjoy life despite her misfortunes, after two years of mutating at last her mutations finally came to a supposed halt, at that point she could hardly recognize herself, but she lived life nonetheless. Survival was difficult, requiring murder or carefully planned accidents and plans to get to her daily necessities, and food supplies. Things became more and more casual as they were done more and more frequently to where theft was no issue to her, but even after several murders, killing and disposing of bodies stayed as difficult tasks for her. She made a good home for herself in the sewers, choosing primarily empty, or abandoned sections of the sewers, as well as changing her location on a frequent basis to avoid discovery or capture. She was even able to enjoy the luxury of reading books by stealing them. She continued to survive, but truthfully she wanted to live.

Sample RP: The sensation of smell is a gift that can’t easily be replaced. The scent of freshly mowed grass, the fragrance from a field of roses, and the mouth-watering aroma from grilled salmon, are all tempting rewards for having a nose, but for someone who dwells in the sewers it’s most definitely a gift to be without. Stench upon stench, the horrid gut wrenching feeling of nausea convulsing within the stomach, it’s definitely a place to avoid. One gets used to the place though, and frankly forgets the negative aspects if one has lost the ability to smell, at least that’s true in the case of Rachel Reaux.
It was a dark, rancid, and foul day in the sewers as usual, and Rachel, as always, was getting sick of being cooped up there. The place she called home was no better than a sludge infested stink hole. Of course she had added some things for a more friendly touch, such as a couch, and a refrigerator full of books, but it could never replace an actual home. She was sick and tired of living down in the sewers, but where else could she possibly stay? Who in their right mind would accept her into society? It was hopeless; she would live the rest of her years down in the belly of New York City, until she just wasted away, or was caught in the act of attacking some helpless civilian. A pointless, and meaningless existence.
She gave an angry snarl as the thoughts of pessimism were flooding into her early morning mind. It was an obvious message to herself that she needed to cheer up, or at least get more caffeine in her system. She pushed herself off the hard cement bottom of the sewer culvert and was amazed to see that she was still dry. In hopes to raise her morale she smiled and recited in a cheerful voice a bit of good news, “It was a good thin' it didn't rain last night, or I’d 'av 'ad sewage interruptin' me nap.” She had spotted inky clouds drifting late last night while searching for someplace to rob, and was expecting trouble to arrive, but to her luck not a single drop had fallen yet. This gave her enough time to pack her things and head to the surface at least until the rain passed.
Rachel had placed herself in the less populated section of the city last night, so as long as no one wandered into the alleyway she’d be fine and they’d be fine. Every so often someone just had to walk in, hopefully this wouldn’t be one of those every so often moments. Keeping the desecrated couch and makeshift fridge behind her she arduously squeezed her body through the small cover opening, trying her best not to crack the nearby ground as she forced herself through. It was dank, and musky in the alleyway, but it was well shaded and overlooked by an old apartment building, and a rundown general store both of which were empty, and abandoned. The location would keep a good dark shadow while the rain went past, it was still dark, and so it would help in hiding her large figure. She laid herself down softly at the back of the alley, placing her body behind a pile of wooden debris, using her tail she placed the fridge and couch next to the debris, arranging it for the most optimal cover, while keeping in mind to keep it in the most inconspicuous position as she could. The final step to her cover was placing the large metal cover back onto the gateway to the sewer, the chance wasn’t given though as a shadow loomed over by the opening of the alleyway.
In shock Rachel dropped the lid and retracted her tail back swiftly causing a loud symphonic clatter to sound as the lid danced about the cement. She could only hope the individual wouldn’t notice the large beast hidden amongst the rubbish, lest they cause a commotion. All she could do now was wait for both the figure and the rain to pass by and hope for the best.
