The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Sara pulled the bandanna away from Hunter as he stood up. She staid crouched for a moment in the same place. Fiddling with the Bandanna for a moment before tucking it in her back pocket.
"Thank you Sebastian, but I've still got energy to burn... unless you want me to stay..." Hunter seemed like he was fine now. In the middle of the action, the place where Sara had been kicked in the ribs was a minor injury, and had healed.
"Unless it's a problem, I should probably head back to the mansion. Roxy will be crossing all four paws by morning." Sara rose to her feet, smoothly. Her eyes traveling to the stairs that she knew lead out, then around the room. The fight hadn't lasted long at all, but Hunter had done a lot of damage. Hunter didn't have to remind her that things could have gone a lot worst. The evidence was splintered all around them. She'd been willing to kill Hunter to stop him. Just like she'd been willing to kill Tarin when asked. With her past experiences, Sara would have just taken Hunter down when given the shot. Sebastian had more trust than she did.
Sara ran her fingers through her hair, shrugging off the realization that she could have had a death on her hands this night. "It's fine Hunter. Any time." Her amber gaze shifted to Sebastian. "I'd be willing to return in a day or so and help you clean the apartment up."

Sebastian bowed his head, showing his gratitude for Hunter's offer to keep a protective eye out for his family. Goodness knows that Ghost had a knack for getting herself into trouble. As for Jude, he wasn't far away from being a teenaged boy. His ability for getting into trouble hadn't been tested yet, but the unicorn man wouldn't have been at all surprised if the french boy showed a natural aptitude for it as well.
To Sara he responded, “I believe we'll be fine here. Feel free to come again soon, for a visit next time, not only in the midst of dire situations. Tomorrow, if you'd like.”
Sebastian straightened and stretched. Somehow his back had gotten sore in all of that, maybe from when it had hit the ceiling.
“Hunter, if you'll follow me, I'll show you where you'll be sleeping tonight. We've got a clean set of sheet you can use, and I've got one spare pair of pajamas, if you don't mind the tail hole,” and the fact that they'd probably be several inches too short. It had to be better than sleeping in bloodstained rags and it wasn't like anyone was going to see him.
Hunter nodded his thanks again to Sara as she prepared to head off. “Once I’ve got this all sorted out we can see about organising another session for you,” he offered. There were still the legal ramifications of what he had done to contend with. While many might have considered it prudent to avoid facing the law Hunter had no intention of running from this.
Also nodding in thanks to Sebastian he followed the old man to the offered room. While the pyjamas were not even remotely a good fit they were better then what he was wearing. Hunter would rather not sleep in something blood stained. It was only really now that what he had achieved with their help dawned on him. He was free. No longer was he bound by his need for blood. He still wanted it, wanted it so very much, but want was easier than needs. Before he needed to drink blood like everyone else needed to breathe air. Now he only wanted it like an addict wants their next fix. Hunter was too proud a man to let an addiction rule him.
Sara checked around her on the floor to make sure that she wasn't leaving any of her belongings behind. Straightening the collar of her long coat with a couple of quick tugs. her eyes flicked up in Sebastian's direction. "Perhaps I'll return at the early hours of 5:00 PM tomorrow."
It seemed Sara had every thing that she needed. Her cup and thermos was outside, but she could retrieve those before she started her walk home. Pausing at the stairs, she addressed Hunter. "I look forward to the next session. I hope that you find purpose in what you've chosen to start. It will continue to help yourself as well when it comes to what went down tonight."
With that, Sara disappeared down the stairs. She let herself out and relocked the door behind her.
