The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Hmmm…. According to the New York Observer there had been a spike in Mutant related crime within the last month... or at least so said one Jonathan Monterrey- the article's writer. Licking her thumb, Megan turned to the next page, thoroughly bored with the current events section, and spied comics.
"Oh... snoopy, how you entertain me too no end..."
Her mutter went unheard, seeing as those around her in the back were either asleep, or ignoring everything by means of blaring headphones. The twenty three year old cleared her throat and relaxed further into her seat, crossing one leg over the other as she disappeared behind her paper. She was on her way back from a day trip out of the city, which had turned into a half day trip when her work called and told her to come in- So much for her day off. Her eyes dropped for a moment, checking to make sure her current wardrobe was work acceptable, and nodded. Jeans and a T-shirt were good, even though her shirt did advertise certain opinions on certain subjects, and her jeans were a little ripped about the knees… her boss could go choke on a pretzel if she thought Megan would make a trip home and back just to change her outfit….
Meanwhile,....
Up at the front of the train, things were not going nearly so well. Six desperate men sat anxiously next to the front entry doors- two in each section of the train- all decked in their own differently colored trench coats. When the train pulled to a stop at the next destination- a mere three minutes away- they were ready to leap into action. The men had a plan you see... All of them were wanted by the law for various reasons; from petty theft... to cold blooded murder, and none of them wanted to go to prison. An accomplice had already been captured after a tip off to his location had reached the police, and while the snitch had been dealt with already they weren't willing to chance it. Their boss, a rough looking man called Spike, had come up with a plan to get all of them out of the country, and hopefully to get their buddy out of jail as well. "We're almost there boss... are we still good?" Muttered a scrawny looking man in a brown coat. Each of them had donned a small headset to communicate back and forth with one another. Spike- who had taken up a seat up near where the train’s diver was holed up behind a locked door- glanced up from his book, and took a gander at his wrist watch. "Yeah, almost time. You know the plan, it hasn't changed."
Each man nodded to himself, and adjusted what he had chosen to conceal his weapon of choice in. One held a trumpet case; another had secured his in an art portfolio. As the train pulled to a stop, each man waited- nerves on edge.
.....
Megan, quite oblivious to the whole matter- as was everyone else, thumbed to another page in her paper, before looking up to see who was boarding. Great… a hoard of people. Fishing out her own headphones, she popped them in and turned up the volume to ward off any potential chatters. The last thing she needed while trapped in a giant moving sardine can was some old bag talking about her twelve tea cup cats… No, she had learned that lesson the hard way, and there are only so many ways to tell someone politely to go jump off a bridge… Her eyes dropped back down to her newspaper, and she let herself be absorbed into her music.
Koga hopped on the train and was happy about it, he'd managed to hop on a bus heading to Jersey and managed to get off in time to jog to this train station and board a train heading back into the city...at least he thought he had just snuck onto a train heading back into the city. He was on the wrong train! was he on the wrong train? he thought he was on the right train... But from the conversations that he over heard he wasn't sure.
he taped a man wearing a navy blue trench coat on the shoulder."excussse me misster, you know where thissss train isss heading?
" to hell." qas the mans gruff response, he seemed to be really pleased with his witty quip.
Koga scratched at his head and went with it. Would that be Jersey or the apple?
shut up kid and go bug someone else, I'm busy.
Koga put his hands up in surrender. ssssure, sssorry to have bothered you.
Koga looked around desperately for anyone willing to answer, but he decided on doing things the new york way, be loud until someone told you what you wanted to know. Hey! Anybody know where the heck thisss train issss going?
since he had mutated further he couldn't even turn his normal flesh tone to blend in. so he ussually didn't bother these days, at the moment he was looking pretty punk with bright green hair and paler than white skin, he found out how to make his flesh almost translucent and could make him self look pale as death. it was fun, but not useful for getting people to pay attention.
Passenger’s stood, leaving as others shuffled on, and as soon as the door slipped closed again, the train rolled back into motion. Megan paused her music, eyeballing the crowd, and happened to catch the question that the pale fellow had asked. After seeing that nobody else was willing to step up to the plate and answer the boy, she licked a finger and turned a page carefully, clearing her throat before speaking. “Times square.” She stated flatly, glancing at the…er… odd looking fellow once more. He was either a mutant… or was really into body modification. Either way, he stood out like a sore thumb on the train full of snoring and elderly. Weirdo… Lifting a leg, Megan uncrossed it and crossed the other on top, wiggling her toes inside her sneakers to get feeling back into them.
The two trench coat clad men glanced at each other from different seats, wondering how the new…rather imposing looking kid that had boarded would change their plans… ”eh… boss?” the blue coated man whispered into his shoulder, covering the motion by grasping the hand bar up above and turning his head to stare out the window.
“…Yeah?”
”we got us a possible bump in the road back here… Some whack job mutant” The boss upfront paused, not quite sure what kind of a threat the supposed mutant would be without laying eyes on him himself. ”Don’t take any chances…” Came his abruptly reply, before the line died again. Blue coat nodded, before signaling to his partner with a nod towards Koga. A silent kill him first…. The train ride moved quietly for a few more moments, the newer passengers had time to settle, some even fell asleep or start up casual conversations between themselves.
Then, once the train was in the middle of the tunnel, the two coated men at the front of the moving train leapt into action. The boss, with his red coat twirling around his legs, pulled an automatic shotgun from under and behind his coat. He fire point blank several times straight into the wall separating the driver from him. Directly after him, his partner yellow coat withdrew his own weapon and shot down the first two people who had stood. A man and a woman with her arms full of groceries slumped to the ground with matching wounds at their chests. The yellow coated gunman aimed, keeping a wary eye out for any would be heroes and his boss kicked in the door to the train controls pushed the injured driver to the floor. “Everyone sit down and shut the f#@*& up!” Shouted Yellow coat, as red pulled the train to a sudden stop.
In the second and third sections Brown, Tan, Green, and Blue also jumped into action after receiving the okay from the boss. Shots rang out from the middle car, followed shortly by screams that were soon drown out as Blue and Green withdrew matching assault rifles from an their previous hiding spots. “Everyone Sit down!” Hollered Green, taking aim as a burly man turned and attempted to grab the gun from his hands. Two shots were fired and the man fell back, dead before he hit the floor. “Any more heroes?!” Blue lifted his own weapon and aimed it towards the Mutant fellow, wary about shooting before the boy took any sort of action.
Megan, meanwhile, had dropped her newspaper into her lap and blinked, watching in a sort of morbid fascination as the man was shot. Instantly she set about sending her small warriors scurrying out the open window behind her and up into dark corners of the roof. A hand full of widow bites would surely stop a few crazed bandits…. It was really just a matter of time between the bite and when the venom would take effect. Silently, she ordered her babies to aim for vital areas, while her eyes darted about to see if she could spot any other would be saviors.
Koga was still standing he never managed to find a seat. He looked immediately relived when he heard the good news, heading toward time square was a great thing. He mouthed thank you to the girl with awesome makeup. And managed a small even though she seemed to be paying him anti attention. He would have said it except that she had headphones going. His eyes might have followed the leg and wiggling foot. Though they shot away at the first hint of being caught. According to her shirt and the obvious stamp of established adult, she was off limits to him several ways, but still she wasn’t hard on the eyes.
He planted a hand on the wall and was secure as he would have been sitting, if not more. Koga rode along in silence as he stood there leaning slightly. His head shot up as the first gun shots went off at the front of the train and then whipped back to the left as his eyes landed on the men yelling threats.
His mind quickly reveled in his training, thank goodness for tactics training with cs. In a case with a lot of innocents and limited heroes, your goal was to negotiate and occupy time until more heroes could arrive. Police at the very least.
Koga gasped as the red mist floated in the air for what seemed like forever in his mind. he would make sure that his family knew he died brave. His hands shot into the air and an appropriately fearful look painted his face. I don’t have a seat, you want me to sit on the floor? Koga slowly say on the floor his hands still in the air, the view between the man and Koga was temporarily blocked. He kicked off his shoes, that he never tied leaving his feet bare.
stay Where I can see you freak! Green yelled.
Koga hopped up.Yessss sssir, I’d like to warn you, that if you ssshoot me there is a very real chance that I could explode. taking a careful and slow step into the aisle, hands still obediently in the air.
I can prove it on a sssmaller ssscale if you’d rather not take chancesss. Koga said quietly.
Both of the coats looked at him with intense stares.
Oh, the pale one was the next to speak, admist screams and cries, and fainting old women. Would the colorful youth with roaming eyes would be the next hero? Megan's gaze landed on him again, watching as he sat and assumed the 'please don't shoot me' position on the floor with hands raised to the sky. He didn't act the type... from what she had seen in movies and comic books the hero usually burst onto the scene in a goofy costume and spouted off nonsense for a while until the crook either got tired of waiting, or jumped into the stereotypical 'Villain' roll. This boy did not seem to fit that role... no, he seemed rather... level headed. Normally when someone had a gun pointed in your direction you zipped your lips and did as you were told. Smart move, if she would say so herself.
His comment about exploding though... oh, it took so much effort not to laugh. A straight face was so hard to keep up when you couldn't get the image of a possible goth teenager spraying bits of himself all over the train. Teehee! While trying to seem as inconspicuous as possible, she relayed another silent message to her babies. -Hurry up!-
Meanwhile, Green and Blue were exchanging nervous glances. Bother were thinking about the same thought; 'Will he really explode?' In all honestly, both thugs didn't want to find out. "You just sit there and keep yer trap shut!" Blue barked, turning his attention away to the rest of the terrified passengers. "Alright! You all sit tight, this will only take a little while.." Up in the front car, holed up with the controls, Red was busy getting in touch with New York city police. He wanted his demands known, and on top of it all, he wanted them to know that the longer they took to get him the things he wanted the more people were going to die.
Megan spent the time it took for these things to happen staring at the wall in front of her, her eyebrows furrowed. What the hell was taking them so long to get into position?! The first group of spiders had already gotten back to her, informing her that they had found themselves nice little vantage points with which to drop down on the men- and that there had been some rather tasty bugs hiding in dark places along the way!
'This is no time for a snack... She thought darkly, scowling across the aisle. 'Just do your job! She received one rather guilty reply back, before five of her babies tumbled from the ceiling onto Mr. Blue. They scurried into the crevasses of his coat quickly- and the man barely noticed a thing. He was far to busy staring down Koga while sweating profusely.
Koga smiled as he shut his mouth in a toothy grin. He didn't sit down, the believed him, it was time to push it a little bit further. "I'm not the only one who I can make explode you know?" He said in a deadly whisper. "Set your guns down if you don't want to find out how it feels to have your genitailia implode while your fingertips explode. I'll do it real slow, so your eyes can catch it, first my finger tips turn green, just like a stop light, next they'll turn yellow." his finger tips turned green. "thats all the warning you get, before things turn real bad. next is red."his fingertips were yellow."thats when the train car gets messy." his grin went to a painting of sheer morbid pleasure. some of the other passengers on the car were no longer sure who to be more worried about.
He was ready to start moving if the hesitated, it was a good bluff, a great bluff, but the second they called him on it, was the second things went bad.
She just couldn't hold it in anymore.... A catty snicker escaped her lips at the kids little 'Exploding genitalia' idea, it was just too much. Of course, if that was actually within his power... he'd have himself a new #1 fan in no time. She just loved fireworks... Green's eyes landed on her and she received a stoic look. "What's so effing funny?!" He barked, and she rolled her eyes to the ceiling and mimed zipping her lips. No need to go getting her self riddled with bullet holes so soon... Blue glanced to Green as the man removed his eyes from the now quiet Megan in the corner and turned the, back to Koga. There was a nervous tick tocking away behind his left eye and he gulped. "Eh... you believe what this kid's saying?... Cuz.. you know, s'not really worth all the effort of holdin' up a train if we get blown to bits in the end..." He whispered. Green, who was long past believing anything the pale freak was saying, rolled his eyes and shoved the other man roughly, while keeping his weapon pointed to the people on his left. "What are you, a baby? The kids bluffing, just off him before he starts an uproar..." Blue nodded, and readied his shaking hands on his gun, aiming straight down the barrel as best he could at the youth.
Megan narrowed her eyes and frowned... It simply wouldn't do to have the most entertaining hostage die so suddenly. She sent out the silent signal to attack, and Green instantly cried out in surprise. His gun fell to his side, held on only by his straps, and he slapped at his chest and neck sharply. "Somethin' Bit me!" He hollered, as green turned a wide eyed expression his way. "...-The hell?" He watched as Blue ripped off his coat and tossed it away, revealing a skinny frame, and a two more pistols tucked neatly under his armpits. Three smashed widows tumbled out, while the two left alive again buried their fangs into him. One into his soft throat, and the other into the space between his shoulder blades. The man screamed bloody murder and danced on his tippy toes as he squashed the last two bugs. "F#&*, I'm gunna die!" He spouted more curses and worked at getting his shirt off in case there were any other creepy crawlies residing within, while Green tried to get a hold of the man.
The second wave of spiders readied themselves, then dropped down onto Blue below. Blue was startled... and very unimpressed. "Sonofa- Its that kid!" He shouted, brushing the spiders off with a gloved hand. He lifted his gun with the other, blinded for a moment as one of her widows attached itself to his eye and sank its fangs in. He pulled the trigger briefly, and mowed down a line of passengers. A woman carrying a shopping bag full of children's clothes slumped to the floor, along with an elderly woman and two teens- who were still holding hands... The others retreated to the back with wounds in both arms and legs, and the screaming started up again. Megan stood and ushered herself forward, (keeping a nice wall of people in front of her mind you), not wanting to miss one moment of the action...
Damn. He really wanted them to believe him, they should have just kept their ef-ing guns on him, now they were going to . Koga kicked off his shoes and was on the ceiling in moments, carefully avoiding smashing any arachnids as he crawled hap haphazardly forward and dropped down onto Blue who was still pointing his gun as if he was in control. Koga landed on his shoulders and locked his legs around blue's gun arm began to squeeze the life out of it instantly as he did so, his arms wraped around the other arm and his neck embracing them with a deadly amount of pressure. He didn't have time to play nice and these bastards were going to pay.
the gun fell out of blue's hand as the blood in his arm were cut off by the deadly constriction. The man then began to rock dizzily and eventually fell over, Koga dismounted and immediately scooped up three fire arms and kicked blue in the head once with a harshness that would mean that he wouldn't be waking up anytime soon.
He handed one of the purloined weapons to a nearby man. "Get the rest of their weapons and fortify yourselves as much as you can. He pulled the head piece out of blues ear and strapped it into his own. He tucked the pair of guns into his pants and hoped onto one of the seats and opened a window. getting ready to change the name of the game and climb out the window.
A grin curled her lips as she watched. One man was on the floor, screaming about how he couldn't breath, and the other was regaining his composure. It always amazed her how different the reaction to a little bite was depending in the person. The two people standing next to her caught sight of the grin, and stepped away. To them, she was just another freaky person on the train to avoid. Megan's eyes were drawn from the screaming man, to Koga. His feat of acrobatics, (and the fact that he could stick to the ceiling), upped his cool points her her book. If he survied, she would defiantly be asking for an Autograph at the end. She remained the silent onlooker until he had taken out the standing one, and was on his way out the window. Seeing her chance, she moved to the back and shoulder nudged the back door open, holding it aside like a true imapcient hero as people surged past. They were much to eager to leave... and the show was only just beggining...
Up in the front car, Red was starting to worry. He had heard a snippet or two of screaming, many gunshots, and finally someone fumbling with the mic. "Blue, green." He started unsurely, nodding his head at yellow, silent code for 'Go check it out'. "What just happend?" He head the radio crackle to life in front of him, and turned the volume dial off. It was probably the police chief, checking in with how his demands were going. Red didn't mention to blue or green that if he didn't hear back soon, he was going to order Brown to start offing people in the second car. While he waited, he returned to hashing out his demands with those on the other side of the main radio, threatening all the way. Brown and Tan however, still trapped in the second car with a handful of frightened occupants. They didn't notice the small bodies that had crammed themselves into the corners of the ceiling- watching and waiting.
Once the back car was fianlly empty, Megan took the liberty of jamming someones dropped coat through the handles and tying it in a nice, secure knot. She did the same for the second door, humming a the little tune she had been listening too before this whole mess started, and turned to smile brightly at the -still- screaming man. His friend had yet to wake up... it seemed that the mutant boy had down his job well. "It's a pity, you know. That people like you are allowed to ruin my day..." She squatted by his side, batting away a reaching hand, and plopped her chin in her her hands and she stared down at him. "I suppose i can just thank my lucky stars that Mr. kickass mutant showed up when he did. Otherwise I would have been very bored." Whether the man heard her or not, what with all of the thrashing and groaning, she didn't know. He caught the leg of her pants in his hand and pulled himself onto his side, muttering, "Please... help me. It feels like i'm dying..." And her grin widened. She stood and shook his hand away, turning to inspect an emergency exit on the ceiling as a plan hatched within. "Yup, you are." She stated softly, dipping quickly to grab up someones purse. "Ta-ta!" With a wave, she hoisted herself onto a seat and used the leverage to unlock and push open the hatch. She hooked a leg outside, then the other, hung for a momet to wave at the man sweetly, then slipped up and out onto the roof. She wanted to see the next fight... it was sure to be epic and she'd be damned if something as threatening as getting shot at would stop her...
Koga didn't like the Idea of shooting anyone, and while non lethal was the name of the game, you got points for saving people, not by letting the criminals kill people while you talked, this group wasn't trigger shy, so he didn't know what his options were. sit and wait, let them kill everyone. and take a couple of shots and take the bastards out. was he a good enough shot to not shoot to kill, but shoot to disable? He supposed he could go with groin shots, or maybe multiple shoulder wounds. but what if they killed people. he couldn't risk more people.
it only took a moment for him to decide his course of action. Make them regret they were alive, for however long he let them live. His mind cringed at the thought and quickly rectified what he was going to do, with what he should do. He crawled along side the sub way and glanced in the window.
no one ever climbed around on the out side of a subway car, so they weren't looking for him He came to a window where he had a clear view. and luckily for him, they had everyone sitting down and being quiet. He lifted him self from the side and controlled his breathing. calmly aiming the shot for the first man the second would have to be on instinct.

both men folded over with in moments. no cursing, no shooting, they folded over into bundles of pain and terror. His eyes were wide from the ease of taking someone out with a fire arm, it was the first time he shot someone, it was the first time. he hoped it was the last. but there were still more left.they would have someone at the front. the window in front of him had exploded with the bluet that went threw it.
He climbed threw the opening. perching on the ceiling, " ssstay low, ssstay calm, that way isss clear. go." He climbed toward the opening that had dangerous men left and covered the exit from the ceiling, if a man in a colorful trench coat was that way, well they were in danger of not having the luxury of him picking his shot.
Her footsteps were light on the roof of the second car, probably not light enough though. She paused when she heard voices from below... hushed voices... suspicious voices. Thankfully, Koga had chosen the right moment to act. Brown and tan had been listening to the silence, when Megan's light footsteps had echoed down to them. They had nodded to each other, and were poised to raise their guns and fire upon the unknown body on the roof, when one of Koga's bullets had hit him hard in the hip, piercing though to rip a nice little hole in his bladder. He fell just as Tan took a bullet directly in the groin, and buckled faster than his well armed friend.... Up above, Megan heard the shots and whistled softly, a cue to her children to move in. Inside the cab, the hidden spiders crawled out and surveys the scene, dropping onto the fallen men to check for life.
She paused above the escape hatch, blinked at it, then knelt and pried it open. It was much heavier from the top, than underneath. She shuffled forward on her stomach and popped her head in, eyebrows drawn together as she took in the scene for herself. People were leaving through the joining door, the boy was perched at her height. Inwardly, she grumbled. How dare they die so quickly! She hadn't even gotten to see... He looked rather... off though. Maybe it was car sickness, or he had eaten something bad for lunch. Her eyes landed on the gun he carried, and she covered a grin by frowning, deeply. "Are you okay? You don't look so hot..." Swiveling her head, she shrieked as another test bullet shot through the wall separating the second and first car. "Jesus! That was uncalled for..." Shifting her hips, she clung to the edge of the escape and lowered herself in, rather clumsily, then dropped into a squatting position over one of the fallen men. Her fingers searched out and (regrettably) found a pulse. "Well... these ones are still alive..." She wondered if he had even been aiming for vital areas... A glance over at the other man told her no It looked like he had shot them both in the No-No zone... The spider queen stood swiftly, her hands on her hips, and watched the last stragglers leave through the exit. She didn't notice the movement behind her as fallen Tan lifted his arm, gun in hand, and aimed it at the center of her back, between the shoulder blades...
In the first car, yellow was getting nervous. Not so nervous that he would lose his cool though. His gun nudges sideways, and he barked an order at the people in front of him. Red made an appearance as well, directing where he wanted people to stand so as to cover them from all directions. "Brown stopped talking, Tan as well. We're down four men." Yellow nodded, tossing the front of his trench coat wide open to snatch a small gun from under his arm. It also showed that he sported a military issued bullet proof vest- red pulled his aside in a similar fashion, he sported the same. "On your knees." Came a grunt of a command from Yellow, as he aimed his gun at the back of a mans head. Red did the same with a woman in her thirties. Bringing his hand to his ear, he switched the radio on. "Any further retaliation will result in me and my friend blowing holes through back of these nice peoples heads... I suggest, for their sake, whoever is on this line will drop the hero act and disappear." God, it angered the man to no end that four of his guys were down.... on the other hand, that meant four less hands to split the rewards with...
Playing the part of the noble super hero was becoming a day-to-day activity for the Masochist. He had just put in a good day's work preventing purse snatching and scaring hooligans out of selling illegal substances while recommending that they stay in school. For the most part, it had been enjoyable, but it was a lot of foot work.
The good thing was that that one chick with the strange power, Molly, had made a good point, you didn't look like a hero in a ski-mask. So he'd decided to make a mask for himself. It wasn't much, blue spandex with a red M across the face, but it did it's job. He was on his way home, now. He had originally planned on taking the bus, but he noticed that there was a subway station close by, and it had been a while since he'd taken the tunnel trip. It turned out that he'd picked the right transportation for some impromptu-heroing, though, because as he stood on the platform, still decked out in his costume, he heard someone complain about how the car was insanely late, and then he heard gunshots down the tunnel.
Needless to say, the Masochist wouldn't dream of passing this up; he was running(as well as he could) down the access ramp faster than you could say "Hey, you! Don't go there! Employees only!" Which someone did say... He ignored them, and hobbled onward. It wasn't long before some victims ran past him, giving their panicked looks at him as they passed.
He arrived at the back car somewhat out of breath, but no worse for wear. The older mutant climbed into the cart, and eyed two men, who seemed incapacitated, as well as some other innocent victims... The men looked like a color-coordinated gang of a sort, a violent one from the looks of it... He eyed the deceased passengers sadly for a moment... He would have to pass judgment here... This gang had already garnered the death sentence in his book. He nodded firmly, and headed towards the next car to see a very heavily bleeding man aiming his gun at the back of some girl."Watch out!" He was on top of the man in a flash, his crowbar coming out and working it's way up and down, once, and then twice... The man stopped moving. Forever.
"Whew... Close call, there..." He looked up from the late trench-coat man's body to take in the current surroundings.
Koga looked up at the woman who snickered at his bluff, she was spiders then, " I don't care for violence" he rolled to his side as a bullet whizzed by them both. man he hoped they didn't shoot his crotch, karma was not something he was believing in right now. Disbelieve the karma!
" I jussst want everyone to be sssafe. how many hossstagesss do you need to get whatever you are after? let me trade placesss with them, pleassse." Koga replied calmly.
he was occupied with that even as one of the gunmen snuck up on the awesome chick that controlled the arachnids. He let go of the ceiling and landed on the floor as he whitenessed his partner in anti-crime show up.
Well, these two were playing for keeps and he couldn't blame them. he wanted to, but somehow it was wrong. it was wrong? He pulled the blue tooth out of his ear and messed with the settings. he plucked another two out of the unconcious foes ears and offered them to the other two. placing his back in .
He placed the gun that he had fired rounds off of on the man that Saph had taken out, in turn he took his gun. He didn't want to shoot anyone but, he didn't want to die, even more.
Great, just great. Of all the crime fighters in the city she ended up with the one who owned a golden heart. Inner eyeroll time... She poked at the unmoving man on the floor in front of her, trying to work up something adequately heroic to say, while listening to the kid speak. What was up with that lisp? Part of his mutant charm? More curious, why was he trying to reason with people who obviously didn't give a crap about human life?... Hm... maybe he was playing the I just killed four of your guys card. The corners of her lips upturned in a smirk, and she dropped her chin to hide it. It was then, that the Watch out! reached her ears, and as she reacted (arms flung to one side, teeth gritted and feet spinning around) she caught sight of who had screamed it... and why. Apparently one of the guys had been lively enough to lift his gun again.... but, it looked like he was taken care of now, what with those lovely new holes decorating his neck and chest. "Why, thank you sir!"
Now that was more like it! Good old R rated blood and guts, the stuff of movies. Her hands flew to her lips, covering her mouth, and she adopted her best impression of 'scared weak woman'. Who the guy was... now that was a mystery. She'd have to ask him once this was all over where he shopped for his spandex.... When Koga moved again, and silently handed her a little ear thingamajig, she had to pause and blink, keeping her 'Ewwwww' to herself. She didn't want to put that thing in her ear, let alone hold it in her hand. As soon as the kid moved to hand the new guy the other one, she tossed it quickly over her shoulder. She wouldn't need it anyway, her babies could tell her anything she wanted... "So, I guess the plan in to bust in there and take them out..." She nearly stopped, but had to remind herself to add, "..before they kill anyone else?"
Red ground his teeth together, staring at the back of the woman's head to knelt in front of him, his gun nestled snugly up against her skull. "Who the hell is this punk?! He sounds like a freakin pushover!" Yellow grinned, mimicking Koga's extended ssssss as best as he could, while forcing another passenger to kneel in front of him. "I say we pick one off to show the kid we're not kidding." The man before him sobbed, tucking his hands over his face. Red, who was staring intently out the window, into the darkness of the tunnel, poke next. "Yeah... try warning him again first, we are losing all of our bargaining chips." Yellow nodded, and turned on his mic, shifting his gun to the side away from his hostages head. "This is your last warning." He stated, his voice both cold and amused. He pulled the trigger, and the woman in front of red screamed. "Any more funny business and the lady dies next." The barrel of his gun returned to his victims head, and he nodded to Red. The boss picked up the train's radio, "We are on our way out, have the 'copter ready and waiting- we expect the bags to be inside." A voice crackled back over the radio, asking if everyone was still alive or not, and if they had let the other hostages go on purpose. A scowl over took Red's thin lips. "Call it, a gesture of faith. Do not make me regret it." He left the woman temorarily to set the train back in motion...
"...Uh, did anyone else just feel that?" Megan asked, blinking as the floor underneath her jerked into motion again. "I think we are moving..." She turned to glance at the masked man, the door he had come in, and finally back to Koga. She sniffed, and set in motion the eyes she had scattered about the cabin, she wanted to know what was going on out there, and quickly. Her spiders moved in, peeking in from outside though windows, surveying and trying to process with small minds what was going on. "They've got a handful of people in there... a few have..." She paused, trying to decipher what spider was for gun, and snorted. "They've got a few in line to die next... " The mental picture the arachnids painted was a funny one... she would have to remember it...
Saph nodded slowly as the girl thanked him, raising an eyebrow under the mask... Hadn't he seen her before? Ah! She had been his hair stylist... Small world. He also took note of the odd tone, and the strange way her eyes had lit up after he was finished offing her would-be killer. He blinked a few times as she suddenly seemed scared again, and shrugged his prior impression off... Maybe he had just been imagining it...
A grin formed under his mask as soon as he saw Koga. "Hah! I shoulda know that if there was some trouble, you'd be getting into it!" He was fairly sure the kid would recognize his voice if not anything else; he might be a little put down otherwise. He grabbed the bluetooth from Koga as he offered it, placing it in his ear under the mask, making a face at the slight diminishment of comfort he felt with it on... After that, he got right to whacking himself with his crowbar.
The cars jerked into motion once more, and Saph ducked to the side... Whoever was running this thing hadn't seen him yet, and he planned on taking advantage of that. He tilted his head at the hair stylists estimation of the situation, and recalled the men in the first compartment... did she have some sort of ability as well? Koga surely hadn't done that to them; they looked worse off than a little constriction might make them.
He figured he would ask her about it later. "Alright, here's the plan; I'm guessing you've pissed them off already. You guys go in through the front and surrender. I'll climb up on top and crawl to the other side, where I'll bust in and take them out. I'm counting on you guys to provide enough of a distraction. If we do this right, no one worth while will die." He turned to Koga, seeing the look on his face... He really did belong with the X-men didn't he? So idealistic... They were all too young to accept that people rarely ever changed; a cold blooded killer was just that, and judgment had to be passed. It made him wonder for a moment why he wanted to be an X-man so much... Maybe because he was starting to feel like a killer as well... He shook the thoughts off, and nodded to Koga. "Ready?"
