Personality: Gregory's psyche is one of absolute balance. He carefully manages a system of compulsions and random urges through meditation and self-compromise. His studies have given him insight into how to deal with his own personal neuroses. Because of this, he seems to have an even greater understanding for the habits and behaviors of others. This has developed him into a very empathetic individual, which has come in handy in his station.

History Of Your Character
Gregory Samson had, at one time in his life, dreamed of a life on stage, but his rather wealthy, well off family demanded a more practical approach to life. He seemed to enjoy working with people, but, being averse to blood, they supported him fully when he decided to go into the field of psychology. He graduated top of his class and went on to earn his doctorate. One day, he woke up, walked to the mirror, and pulled his face off. Oddly surprised by this, he decided to call his secretary and have her cancel all of his appointments for the day.
That day became a week, and then a month. He tried to decipher the metamorphosis he'd undergone, he discovered the new him, and while his practice fell to ruin, he got comfortable with the realities of what being like him meant.
It wasn't a pretty conclusion. He spent years working to find his place in society, staying on the fringes, and building a network of buggy little friends that he could talk to.
He stumbled upon the X-Men mostly by accident, but quickly found he could be useful to them. Indeed, before long he found a place he belonged, talking the members through the tough times, watching the home base to make sure they weren't discovered, and reading his books.

He acts as a counselor to the vigilante group, and is able to patch them up when they are injured, with moderate effectiveness.
