The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

“I don’t know for sure if it’s sound proof but I’m pretty sure it keeps the sound in very well.” Streak answered her. The three continued the trek up the path and he let the two talk. He actually didn’t have much to do with this conversation but it was still nice to hear the two talking with basic icebreakers. Streak just smiled. Maybe it was just him but he’d a really hard time finding when he was trying to find his way around.
Streak agreed with Koga. There were definitely plenty of people around that could get you un-lost from where you were and point you in the right direction. Even if the person could point you in the right direction, there were even more people that would escort you to where you needed to go. They were finally at the front door and walked in. there was some paperwork that they would need to complete but they could always do that later.
>>> “Give it a month and, I'll tell you I told you ssso."
Elise smiled back at the boy. With each moment, she girl was feeling more and more as though she could fit in here. Maybe her brother had been right all along. Maybe telling her parents about her mutation two days ago hadn’t been such a bad idea. “Have you ever heard an electric violin? They’re absolutely amazing,” she said, her hands moving with her speech, showing her enthusiasm.
Her eyes took in the room they had just entered. It was large, and Elise craned her neck to take in the entire area. A silent look of admiration widened her eyes and left her mouth open in a small o. The mansion appeared to be just as large inside as it had outside.
“Good thing people are willing to offer directions, because I will probably get lost here,” she said in reply her eyes still taking in the sight. Finally turning to face her two companions, Elise glanced at the possible exits. ‘Where to now? Paperwork, the music room, somewhere else?” she asked, unsure of what she should do once more.
Koga’s eye lit up with joy. “I sssaw the one on revenge of the nerdsss. And have wanted one ever sssince. I play a lot with techno and other thingsss that aren’t typical.”
“Maybe it jussst makesss sssenssse to me then?” Glancing at streak and seeing he felt the same way
” Musssic rooms sssoundsss like more fun to me.” he glanced at the others and then waved them along. ” We can ssshow you basssics after that, the girlsss hall, the kitchen, the living room, library, classssrooms. You know, maybe we should make mapsss. “ The reptilian teenage thought out loud as he walked down the left hall way til the very end. And opened a door.

Streak listened as the two conversed about violins. As it currently stood he knew nothing of the sort, however he did see how using an electric violin would make techno music sound pretty cool. "Ever heared of a band called Bond?" Streak asked the two of them, "They use electric violins and electric cellos when they play. They use them to take classical music and put a more modern almost rock-ish sound to them."
"Pqaperworks a minor detail if you are just chekcing out the mansion. If you decide to stay then we can deal with the paperwork after Koga finishs giving you the tour." Streak said following them both closer to the music room. He'd never spent much time there since he wasn't that musically inclined anyways. Of course there was always the fact that he hasn't seen Raina in a while. They would need to catch up on quite a lot of stuff.
“Oh, good. I tend to get mindlessly perfectionist on paperwork,” Elise admitted following the other two mutants towards a doorway. At the mention of techno, her ears perked up and her eyes brightened. “Techno! Ah so cool. I’ve been dying to get my hands on a good synthesizer, but they are so ridiculously expensive,” she said with a sigh as they approached what she assumed was the music room.
When Streak mentioned Bond, her nose wrinkled in an indecisive manner. “Yeah, I’ve heard them, but I don’t know. Every time they play, I always feel like their missing something. I don’t know what it is, but they just need something else. The electric cellist, though, she, she does a good job,” Elise said, her pointer finger going up and down in an emphasis of her last point, her eyes narrowing in appreciative manner.
When they finally reached the door, Elise was feeling mildly nervous, for no real reason that she could tell. Her speaking stopped, and her eyes were glued to the grain of the wood as Koga opened the door. The first thing that caught her eye was piano. It was a beauty propped up near the corner. The room itself wasn’t that different than any other music room that Elise had ever been in, but it felt quieter, hushed almost. Perfect.
She slid into the room, and moved to the piano first. Her hand ran thoughtlessly over the smooth grain of the piano’s cover as her eyes peered out at the rest of the room. Stacks of chairs lie nearby, ready for students to set up in rows for a group practice. Lockers and a door to a closet that most likely held instruments just begged for her hands to open them. The place felt like home for her.
Elise turned and smiled at the two mutants. “It’s lovely,” she said, her hand still stroking the piano cover. “You said there were classes. What kind of music classes do you guys have?” she asked, craning her neck curiously to try and take in all of the room as best she could from her vantage point.
” yeah, there explosssive video was pretty viral for a while, I guessss it ssstill isss. I like them quite a bit, I think you might be right, maybe vocalssss? Hmmmmmm. They need sssomething to get them ssselvesss out of the background musssic ssscene and into a more mainssstream, then again if they are happy with it, and sssuccesssful at sssomething they are talented at, then I’m happy for them.”
Koga waited at the door as Elise entered and he stole a grin at Streak as she seemed to flow into her domain. He then returned to watch the fair skinned girl explore the room.
” the classess vary, from ssskill level and interessst. A lot of the classsesss here are sssomewhat propelled by the ssstudentsss. Ssso, you see a lot of interessst in rock music, guitar bassss drumsss, sssome classssical, sssome freesstyle. I guesss, itsss pretty eclectic.
” Definitely sssome talented people, we won’t tell if you want to play sssomething.”
“Eclectic sounds great. The greater the variety the better,” Elise said with a slight tapping on the piano’s cover to show her approval. It was a habit she had picked up from her mother and if Elise had realized she had just done it, she would most likely have been rather angry at herself, but she did not realize, and instead turned to look down at the piano. Koga’s suggestion of playing sorely tempted her.
She really, really wanted to. It would give her an idea of the sound quality in the room. Shooting a grin at the two men, Elise quickly opened the piano’s cover and took a seat at the stool. Luckily the person who had played before her had been of a similar height, so it only took her only a moment to adjust the seat before her hands were on the keys.
Without really thinking, she began to play Once Upon a December. She only played about forty seconds into the song before freezing and taking her hands off of the piano. That was enough. She had heard the sound quality, and it was excellent. There was no need to play any more. Jerking upright, she slid the bench under the piano and replaced the piano’s cover.
“Shall we see everything else?” she asked turning to nervously face the other two mutants.
Koga watches as the girl sits down at the piano and a slow wave of wonder washes over him with every note, His eyes follow her every keystroke, he stops breathing and only remembers to by the graces of his subconscious. even as she stops playing he is still a bit mesmerized.
“Shall we see everything else?”
"Yesss. wait what?" his sensibility came back and smacked him in the face, it was her first day here and he was thinking what?Koga's eyebrows nearly jumped off his forehead, not that he was admiring her, and that he wasn't sure exactly what she was talking about for a moment. He swallowed hard and then glanced at Streak. his thoughts were painted painfully across his reddening cheeks.
"Whatever you would like to sssee next, of courssse.'

Streak watched the girl with amusement. It was fun watching the girl’s eyes light up when she saw the piano and started to fondle it. After a bit of staring and fiddling she decided to play a little bit. The music she played was nice and he enjoyed listening to it. Once she finished he looked around the room and remembered some of the more pressing things he had to get done. Unfortunately he couldn’t delay them all day and he felt that Koga knew his way around well enough for him to get her safely around the mansion.
“Well, if yall don’t need me anymore then I’ll be on my way. I’ve got a lot of paperwork to catch up on. I’m sure I’ll see you around.” With that Streak walked away and disappeared around the corner into his office. If she decided to stay he was definitely going to see her around the mansion.
Elise’s face flushed instantly, and her hand instantly moved to fiddle with her hair. She shouldn’t have played. She really shouldn’t have played. Forcing herself to stop twitching. Elise looked back up at Koga. Oh goodness, he was blushing, badly. Darn it, she had already managed to embarrass one guy in the school before even applying. Biting her lip, she was immensely relieved when Streak interrupted her train of self bashing when he said he had to go take care of some business.
“Oh bye. Thanks for the intro,” she called after him, her focus returning. “Um, right. Should we stop bye the kitchens or something?” Elise asked the other mutant, her blush still pink on her cheeks but fading quickly. “Hey, don’t worry about it. I shouldn’t have played. It’s not your fault,” Elise added, her guilt returning by ten-fold at the sight of him once more.
