The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

(OOC: Just come on in so we can get this started and link it up to the camps as soon as we can. Pre-breakout)
Times were tough. People were disappearing in faster numbers than they should have been. It was no secret as to where they were all going. The camps. He was even more upset than he normally would be in a mission. Most of his team had disappeared and were sent to the camps. They’d been captured and that meant only one thing. They needed to get them back as fast as they could and prevent any losses. As soon as he’d found out what was going on he’d called a meeting with all the remaining X-Men to find out just how bad the situation was. It seemed that the weather was feeling pretty much the same way as him. it was gloomy and nasty weather. Not exactly the best for reconnaissance.
“Wow. There’re fewer of us than I was hoping there would be. We need to move fast so that we can get our team back as fast as we can. The only problem is that we need to find the place first. Once we do that I can arrange with some other mutants that are helping us out with when and where everything’s happening. I just hope that we ain’t the only ones looking for the camps. I do have a lead but I’m not confident with the info. Any questions?” Streak asked them. He looked at those that remained waited for their replies.
It took Fade a lot longer to get there than she had hoped for. There was a lot of involuntary hitch hiking required before she finally made it, a lot of latching on to parked cars right before they left, jumping off into the woods when they went to far and running next to the road so it would not rip her arm off when she phased her claws into the car and grabbed another ride. Yes, invisible hitch hiking hurt, a lot. At least at the end of her journey, Streak was not in the camps, he was standing right in front of her. She had covered the injury on her arm with the sleeve she tore off from her shirt but it had bled through a little bit.
Streak began quickly, there was no time to loose, there was already a break out forming. Well, perfect timing on her part, how long had she been out of the loop? "I know where the camp is, I infiltrated it today, they have Shin," she said quickly and to the point. She would not talk about all of the fine details of where it was and such. There was a camp, and she knew where to go. "Are we it?" she asked, looking at Kasumi and Streak. They were the big breakout plan? There had to be some others, group of three against that entire camp? This would be a night to remember.

Kasumi got there in once peace more or less. She looked some what bad tried well form lack of sleep. Shin and the others are in camps and just only 3 of them. This is going to be very hard. Running her hand down the back of her neck they need to be quiet and clean about this it leads her mind to one thing "Well to get in and take down most of the guards I can milk myself of my poisons and do dart tips or something." She can get alot out of her body.
Kasumi is over all calm about this she has to be. She can not let herself get scared over this or over worked,. closeing her eyes Keeping to her thoughts why do things like this have to happen to good people? She does not care who or what they are. As long as they are good people Pulling some of her hair behind her ear as she looks at the both of them soon she sees the blood "Are you alright?"
Kasumi walking to Fade to see what is wrong with her hand. Even in times like this Kasumi cares for people that is close to her soon she speaks in a soft gentle voice "Let me see." She sounds more like a mother then anything. When Kasumi has kids she is going to make a very good mother. Yet she is not thinking of that right now. It is to get the others out of the camp in the back of her mind she is thinking about Shin. Kasumi hopes that he is alright to say the least.

Streak actually smiled. He hadn’t been smiling a lot lately because of the grim facts. He’d been more focused on the missions. So they weren’t starting from zero. He was glad that he had someone that knew exactly where the camps were. “If you know where they are, that’s perfect. When we get there we’re gonna be doing a lot of steak-outs. So don’t expect to be coming back here until everyone’s out.” Streak said to them. The silver mutant hadn’t been exactly spending much time in his room anyways. Mostly he’d been out gathering info for this exact mission. Shawn was not happy that their number was so low.
“It looks like it.” Streak said to them. “On the bright side… I do know that there is a group of people, a resistance, just like there was back in the U.S. when we had this problem. I’ve still gotta find out what they’re doing but more importantly when they’re moving. Until we hear that we’re gonna be watching and forming our own plans.” Bottom line… it wasn’t just the three of them against an entire army. That was at least a little promising. Even though they’d be outnumbered until they got the rest of the team together, it was still comforting to know that they wouldn’t be alone.
The young leader had been so focused on his team and their current dilemma that he didn’t notice that Fade was hurt. It seemed Kasumi was on top of it. He wasn’t exactly the babying type anyways, because on missions like these they couldn’t afford to stop and check everyone’s little scrapes and cuts that they might get. “Clean that up before we leave… and bring some bandages along with you if you need them.” Streak said to Fade. “We leave in four hours. That’ll give us time to get some rest, pack up some things and e ready to leave. We’ll meet out front and leave from there.” He said matter-of-factly. It didn’t seem like they had much going for them but they were sure going to do their best.
The way that Kasumi said she was going to 'milk her poison' sounded a little odd and Fade almost burst out laughing. It was hilarious, when you thought about it, but her mind was immediately reverted back to the current situation on their hands. Speaking of a situation on her, Kasumi went to tend for Fade's injury. Shawn noticed it, but he seemed to leave it all up to the girls to take care of. Any injuries she sustained in battle could always be tended to after the mission, not during. Yet, it seemed they had a few hours.
Shawn stated that they should sleep and get some rest, but that Gabriel was on her mind, that soul-less, rotten Gabriel and the little girl he tried to hurt. He was a pig and those two poor little girls in the camp needed to be helped, their injuries were far more important than her's. "I'm fine, really, don't worry about me. Just need a bandage or something," she shrugged. Still, she allowed Kasumi to tend to it. Now the question of how they would sleep. Of course, they wouldn't sleep a full 8 hours, but a nice nap could work, if she could fall asleep. Something told her the only way she could sleep now was if she lost enough blood, but the injury was not that big.
"Do we know where this group is? We're just going to watch over the camps until we have a bigger plan? I can do more intel, find out how to get us all in there with no casualties." Just three of them, how would this work. Then again, there were Three Musketeers, Three Wise Men, Three sons of Kronus, and yes, Three Chipmunks, the number three was a mystical number for heroes.

Kasumi looks at Fade's cut soon she nods to Silver "Yes I have been doing it for days now." She is so gentle with Fade's cut soon she is all fixed up "It is better to deal with it now then in the middle of the fight were I can get worse." In away Kasumi sounded like a mother what is up with that? Yet she is right about that. Kasumi backs away.
Looking around "Yes a few hours of rest. Fade has a point she should find out were they are at. We will have a eraser time getting out then just wondering until we run into them." Kasumi did not want to do it that way. It sounds like a bad idea to her. Kasumi does not like that sound of that over all. Sighs to herself as she shakes her head.
Fade is good at this also but all of them together. It would be a very good thing it will help them a great deal too. She did not want this to end bad for all of them. Soon she puts her hand up as she pulls her hair behind her ear. Kasumi licks her lips she is just trying to ease herself over this. Part of her is scared yet she does not show it. Kasumi is sure that everyone is some what scared over this too.

“Ya we know where the group is, the only problem is that they’re really hard to find even if you know where they are, ‘cause they move around a lot.” Streak said answering Fade’s questions. He was glad that Kasumi was taking care of Fade’s cut, but he wasn’t to happy that it was needed to be done. “Fade’ll get her chance to snoop around long enough when we’re there. There’s no sense in sending her out before us. Let’s face it… we haven’t exactly been lucky with not getting people caught so the last thing I want is to turn this trio into a duo.” He said frankly.
“I’ll make sure that we’re in constant daily contact with the underground resistance group. They won't make on the place without us knowing about it.” said Shawn as he tried to comfort their doubts and worries. If the truth were to be told, he had his own worries about this. It wasn’t often that one, basically, launched a full scale war on a trained military and didn’t come away with some injuries or casualties. He was going to make sure that they were kept in the loop when it came to the time for attacking.
Streak didn’t have anything else to say to them. They were worried about the mission and he couldn’t blame them. Things that were starting to go so well were now not going well at all. There was nothing more that he thought he could do to ease their feelings. He knew Fade was on edge, but he didn't know why, and with this being Kasumi’s first mission he knew she was nervous. They were all scared but he couldn’t help them with that. It was something that he thought they should get over by themselves. That’s what he had to do. But that wasn’t the case with everyone.
Fade nodded. That was a good idea. Making sure she did not disappear into the camps as well. No, siree, she did not want a collar put on. She escaped the camps in America, she sure as hell was planning on escaping the camps here. No one could catch her! Well, that was a lie, some could, especially those damn telepaths. And Jack, the little Haywire mutant had an interesting way of messing with her powers. "You got it, boss," she nodded. There were only three people who she would ever consider calling boss on this Earth: Tricity, Cold Steel, and Silver Streak. Tricity gave her a home, invited her in when it was cold out and she had no where else to go. She also let her, Raph, and Deathstar into the X-Men, whatever happened to Deathstar? Cold Steel had this sense of being boss, he just stood with his shoulders a bit more broad, he just seemed like the boss type. Streak was the thoughtful one, he would notice troubles, but he was boss enough to decide whether they should be addressed at that moment or not; plus, he was so hott.
"So we just wait until we get our rest to join up with them, or we going in there just the three of us?" Maybe just the three of them was better, at least she knew everyone in the group and she trusted Shawn and Kasumi. She did not know who else was in the resistance, and she could remember fighting along side the Kabal against the Order, not too pleasant of a surprise. So long as she did not have to fight next to Calley's side. The last battle between them was interrupted and she'd hate to fight by his side instead of fight him.
No matter who was by her side, she still had her thoughts locked on Gabriel. She was not allowed to kill as an X-Man, which she would uphold, but she could subdue him. Fade decided to treat her last question as rhetorical and sat down, feeling her body grow tired. Maybe she wouldn't sleep, maybe her eyes would not close, but her body sure as hell could use the rest, now that Kasumi had fixed her up. "Thanks, Kasumi," she smiled.

Kasumi nodding and smiling to Fade "You are welcome." Kasumi has been thinking of a code name for herself and she think that she found one. She knows all of there code names so she needs one to. Kasumi nodes to herself at last "I have a code name it took me a while to pick it out but it is Leuco." She wanted Silver and Fade to know it.
Soon Kasumi sits down some of her hair falling over her shoulder. She pulls it back with her hand. This is going to be a long few hours. She will close her eyes and try to get some rest. She knows that she needs it. This is going to be hard. Yet Kasumi is sure that they can get them out. Even if she is a little bit scared. Kasumi will not let that stop her. Never she can not let fear over come her and she is doing a good job on that. Kasumi is more worried about the team members that is in the camp then herself.

Streak smiled. It wasn't often that he got called boss. It was nice to hear but no somethin he wanted to get used to being called. "We're gong to be spying and making ourselves options for the best way to get in and out of there with as little casualties as possible." Streak said addressing Fade's concern. "If we have to we'll be going in there by ourselves, but hopefully we won't have to fight an entire army wihout help." Kasumi seemed quiet for a bit as the other two talked. Shawn had the feeling that it would be leave him and Fade coming with most of he plans for infiltration. He didn't blame Kasumi for it, she happened to one of the least experienced people on the team. He was sure he was like that once.
"Yall look exhausted, so go rest up and I'll meet y'all down in a few hours." Streak said to them both. Truth br told... He could use some rest as well. He hadn't been sleeping hardly at all since his team started to get captured. It was a feeling that he couldn't help. It was a feeling that kept asking if he was next and now he was going to do something about it. "Leuco huh? Ok I can deal with that. Does it mean something or have any significance?" he asked. Streak didn't know if she had gotten it from something or if it related to her powers.
It seemed that plenty of the X-Men had their own code names but they enjoyed being called their birth names. It was not that Fade had joined the X-Men and then created a name for herself, but that she needed to conceal her identity. She was an endangered run away, not that her foster parents would really care that she would never come home, but they reported it, maybe for money, however that works. Still, the name Jenny McCullen was the name police would type into their system and immediately put her in a van back to new Jersey, so that was not going to happen. She began to use Fade as a name that kept her off the radar, and those that she would steal for enjoyed Fade more than Jenny, they thought it made her sound more sneaky and less innocent.
"I like it Leuco," she nodded and smiled. She would call her Leuco if she wanted it. Streak mentioned what they would be doing. Piece of cake. Having this power was amazing at times, but sometimes she wished she could be one of those big ones, the ones who can blow up the fence and jam the guards' guns from 50 feet away. Or pick up a truck and throw it at the gate. No, she was the runner. She was the one who could jump into the place and right back out without anyone noticing her. She was the not strong one.
"You aren't looking that well rested either," she pointed out. Maybe he needed some sleep too, but she wasn't one to tell him what to do. Well, maybe just a little. "You needa rest up too," she mentioned. Those men needed their strength, she just needed her eyes to be open.

Leuco nods as she stands up some of her hair falls over her shoulder "I was talking to my dad he is a vet. He knows the scientific name to frog. Well with a few ideas we came up with Leuco." She is happy that her father helped her with her code name. Soon she nods "We all need some rest." Leuco has not been sleeping well form what has been going on.
But Leuco knows she looks tried as everyone that is around her. She does not yawn but when she falls to sleep for the few hours. She knows that she will pass out. Closing her eyes keeping herself calm soon Leuco shakes her head. She has to keep calm she does not need to over do things. Rolling her shoulders as she looks at them both.
Leuco is sure that they can do this. She has herd of less getting others free. Pulling some of her hair behind her ear. She hopes that everything will go well she knows that the poison's that she has been milking out of her glans will help a great deal. Poison darts might work out very well. Leuco smiles some due that how funny that sounded in her mind. Due to her powers and that she is making poisoned darts. Oh how funny os that?

(OOC: I'm sure no one would mind if yall jumped in the breakout thread also )
Fade and Kasumi seemed to be getting the idea. The threat of the situation was something that he hadn't tried to disguise at all from them. There was one thing that he'd learned from all his missions and fights, and that was... Unless the situation looks hopeless, then you don't want to keep them in the dark. There's always a fine line between when you tell them the truth about what's probably going down and when you have to give them a Braveheart speech. Thankfully they noticed something that he didn't have to tell them of. He was tired and Fade had picked up on it also. However, hearing Leuco give her idea about milking her poison, gave him an idea. He'd have a few things to make before he went to sleep.
Just like when Jewel and he had run the border a few times, the hard part wasn't going to be getting in. It was going to be getting out with a lot more people than you came in with. Streak thought it was a little ironic at how similar yet completely different the two were. Streak nodded in agreement with Fade. He doubted that he would but it wouldn't hurt to try. "Ok guys. I'm gonna kick yall out now so that we can all rest up for a little bit." Streak said starting to usher them towards the door. "Clocks ticking."
