The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Zeke smiled, "Thanks... we're really excited about it." He squeezed Evie's hand slightly and felt a flood of emotion spring into action. He loved this girl with all of his heart.
"Yes... we plan to have the wedding here... if that's okay with you. Would we be able to have it in a month or so? How about next month, the first Saturday?"

Evie felt a tug on her shoes and she looked down, great, she made her shoelaces float. Her earrings also began to rise up along with the tips of her hair and one of the pencils sitting at Tricity's desk. When she noticed that the pencil was floating too, she blushed and apologized quietly.
A month, that's so soon. She'd always heard about how hectic marraige plans are, guess they can't be all that bad. But Evie didn't care, she was happy, for the first time in her life. No father to push her around, no angry parents to make her cry, nothing to hold her back. Just Zeke.
She didn't want to leave it completely up to Zeke to break the news, even though she was nervous, so she spoke up. "It would be really nice to have it here at the mansion, a comfy environment."
"A...a month?" Tricity questioned, her voice cracking slightly. "Well...yes, of course. If that's what you want, sure. I think this place could use a good celebration." A month was so soon! Tricity looked over at Evie in the stereotypical way of knowing a woman would obviously know more about planning a wedding would take longer than a month, but she shrugged and smirked. "Just...let me know all the plans. If you need help, I'll be here. We've actually had a few weddings here in the past out on the front lawn for other couples."

"Here it is." Rayne paused at the door Chip was pointing to, Ms. Tipper's room. He grinned at her. "Don't forget to ask about your phone," he reminded her before heading off down the hall.
Rayne shook her head and smiled. She had a feeling he was going to keep asking until she relented, so hopefully Tricity would have a good report of the kid. He seemed nice enough.
She knocked on the door, waiting for acknowledgement.
A second after Tricity had spoken, a knock came at her door. "Yes? Come in, please!" 'Hope it isn't anymore unexpected news...' she thought, wondering who would be behind the door.

Rayne stepped inside, noticing the others immediately. She paused.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to intrude. I just had a quick question, if I could." She paused before continuing. "I was just wondering, I know I said I couldn't stay. But I do want to learn more here. If I can figure out a way with work, could I stay for a time? Maybe for a month or so? I do want to learn more." She flushed a bit as she repeated herself in nervousness. Unconsciously, she scratched her shoulder.
Tricity smiled. It was hard to resist a place like this and the more time an outside spent here, the harder it was for them to leave. "Yes, of course you can stay." Tricity opened her desk drawer and pulled out the manila folder for all new residents. "Just fill this out and pick a room for yourself or with a roomie if you like. When your done, bring it back whenever you have a free minute."

"Thank you, soo much!"
Rayne beamed as she took the folder. Trying not to forget her manners, she apologized to the others, thanked Tricity again, then quietly left the room. But the minute the door was shut she bounded down the hall to her own room. This was the opportunity she'd never thought she would get; a chance to finally find out what she was capable of!
-------------
It only took her a few minutes to fill out the forms and return them. On the return trip, she realized she'd forgotten to ask about Chip, she turned around and went back. She was glad to learn he could be trusted, and decided to go an find him. The Danger Room still made her a bit nervous. If he really could find a way she could train outside of it, she'd be very grateful.

Mettaliar had finished the papers Tricity had given a long while ago, choosing to take the papers to her room and deliver them. When he found her room he raised his hand to knock before hearing voices coming from inside the room.
"Seems like she is a bit busy." he said under his breath. He didn't want to disturb her and whoever else was in there so he took out a pen, wrote "Papers" on the envelope and sliding under her door before walking a bit fast back to his room.
Tricity noticed the envelope shoot under her door just as Iris left the room with her own. She went to the door and slowly scooped it up, checking the contenst. "Ah...was waiting for these," she said, pulling the door open and seeing Mettaliar's form walking down the hallway briskly. "HEY! Come here a sec, I wanna talk if that's alright?"

Mettaliar got close to his room, when he heard a voice from behind him scream apparently at him.
"HEY! Come here a sec, I wanna talk if that's alright?" Mettaliar turned around to see Tricity looking at him. He gulped a bit.
Oh man. Ok, don't be shy. he thought to himself. He didn't want to be disrespectful. "Uh... s-sure. That's fine." He walked back to the room, hiding back a bit blushing. Dang shyness. He leaned up against the wall, fixing his hair around his eye. "Ok, so... what do you need?"
"Well, I wanted to know how you were doing? Getting along ok? Finding everything you need?" she asked, leaning against the wall as well with a friendly smile. "Just wanna make sure you are comfortable and answer any questions you may have."

Mettaliar sighed a bit and tried to put on a friendly smirk. "Oh, ok. Well I've been getting along pretty well. Getting around the house fine. Nice training facility you have here. Yeah, I've been pretty good and comfortable. Hopefully you are doing well."
Tricity sighed and held her stomach. "Just, sooo tired. Glad to hear you're doing okay. Remember, if you need anything, don't be afraid to give a holler!" she said, looking back into her room at the newly engaged couple. "I have to get back to a little meeting I'm having. It was good talking to you."

Mettaliar nodded and stood upright. "Understood. Good luck." he said quickly and waved a bit before walking back tohis own room. That wasn't so bad. he thought to himself.
