The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

They seemed to travel in silence for a while before Alexandra spoke. He watched the trees pass by and he continued to think. When the car slowed down he started to pay more attention to where they were than to what was spinning around in his head. Passing the first road, he started looking for another road that they might be turning down. They finally came up to another side road and stopped before turning down it. Streak was about to ask her why they were stopped but Alex spoke up first.
“Right, sounds like a plan.” Streak said to her. The silver mutant was busy thinking about Lily and still wasn’t completely into the mission. Shawn got out of the car and walked around to Alex’s side. “Ok. Let’s get this going.” He said sounding perhaps just a little preoccupied. Preoccupied was an understatement though… in a completely different place was probably a better example.
Her body was tense in expectation. Alexandra wasn’t sure how she would react if this was the location of the camps. This, this was strictly a scouting mission and yet she felt like she was going to a fight. She knew that if these were the camps she’d have troubles with keeping her emotions in check. She narrowed her eyes as she scanned the forest to her side for a brief moment. And then she started to walk.
A quick move later, her coat was unzipped, knives shinning slightly in the dim light of the day. She glanced to her partner before gesturing to the tall trees on their side of the road. “Let’s go trough there. It will conceal us the best.” Her pace quickened, and shortly she reached the first tree. Looking at Streak again, she made the first step in to the forest.

Streak followed her away from the car. Streak didn't think Alex look like she was totally confident in thier plan. Why should she be? It's not like they were following a set plan. As far as the silver mutant could tell they were making this up as they went along. As Alex unzipped her coat, for easy access to her knives, Streak covered himself in silver. "After you Alex." He said to her as he quickly followed the direction she was going.
Once inside he forest Shawn started listening for anything that might give them away. Motion sensors, trip wires, people... These were all things that could give them away and get them caught. Geting caught wouldn't have been a good thing. It would have lead to fighting which then would have lead to injuries and running away without any information. Streak whispered, "So, any idea as to if we'll find something here?" he didn't know if her informant had told her of anything specific to look for that might lead them to the real camps or if she only knew of the place they were currently at.
Alexandra swore under her breath as her foot sank in some mud cleverly disguised by some fallen leaves. With an unhappy face, she continued to walk, remembering that she wasn’t such a big fan of nature. As a matter of fact, she sort of hated it. Sighing, she continued to walk deeper into the forest, keeping an eye on the ground and trees.
“Well, to be sincere, I doubt there’s going to be anything. They wouldn’t be so stupid to choose the same location seeing that many people already know the location.” Giving a small shrug, she hopped over a fallen branch. “But it never hurts to be careful, I guess.”

“Right. But we can always hope that they are so stupid.” Streak said as he hopped over the branch after Alex did. Streak wasn’t to happy about apparently going on a wild goose chase for clues or something that may not even be there. However, any clues that they may find would definitely be a great help. Shawn looked around for anything that might give them away, if there was even anyone still paying attention to this place. From the looks of the forest there didn’t seem like there’d been anyone or anything walking around these woods for a long time.
“How much farther do you think it is until we get to the old camps?” Shawn finally asked Alex after quite a bit of silence. The forest seemed a bit quite for his liking, but fortunately enough for them he could hear some birds flying around and making noise overhead. Peace and quiet was one thing that was seemingly lost on people now but at this point in time it was something that was a double edged sword. Quiet meant that there was no one around; however, it also meant that there wasn’t much there for them to find.
