The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Daniel Had just got to this school, therefor he didn't know people very well, Sitting in the living room, he sat in one of the corners, he looked at all the people talking to each other, He could only hope that someone would vcome talk to him as well. He scratched the outside of his leather gloves, they felt warm, and made his hand all sweathy.
He looked out the window. it was gotten a bit darker, and looked like it was goin to rain.
"You're quite the sociable one." Fade said as she walked down the stairs to find this boy, just sitting there. Even though Fade was new as well, she still felt like this place was her home for she has never felt so secure anywhere else in her life. Thus, the mansion earned a new name "Home". Leopard-patterned pants clung in a comfy way to the girl's legs and she wore a tight white shirt. Her red hair hung loosely on her shoulders, it was straight and layered. Her current blue eyes looked at him as she waited for an answer to come from his lips.
"The name's Jenny, but I usually go by Fade, it sounds cooler, well, to me at least. You don't really sound like you're from around here." She said, running her hand through her hair. It was a funny feeling, she was rarely ever able to do that without getting her fingers caught in the knots in her hair. She grabbed the ground with her toes as she was barefoot and blinked, her eyes now purple.
Daniel asked her, he couln't help it, he was very curious, that they way he was. He could see that her eyes was purple, he liked that color. but his favorite color was green though.
"Oh, it's just got to do with what I can do. I just turn invisible, disappear, fade. It's the best way to put it, I think. What about you? Is there any significance in Daniel? Or is it just a name?" As she continued to blink, her eyes changed color to red, black, yellow, green, orange, and even white. She had been so used to people staring at her abnormal eyes that she didn't realize that he noticed them. Feeling tired from standing, Fade sat down next to him, obviously not directly next to him since he was in a corner, but she propped herself up against the wall to get into a nice, comfy position.
No, Daniel is just a name" Daniel told her, He gave a croocked smile before he finallly noticed her eyes changing color faster than he could blink. " I go under the name Substance or Chloro, I haven't really decided yet." Daniel said. he didn't know what to say. He had a weird power, something he didn't like talking to much about.
"Sounds interesting." She said before it finally dawned on her, he noticed her eyes. "Uh, yeah, about my eyes, they change color when I blink, it gets annoying, especially when I wink and one changes color while the other one stays the same, it's difficult to get back to normal." She rubbed underneath her eye as it itched and tried to focus on not blinking too often, but whenever she did that, her eyes would water up and she would blink even faster, so she decided to ignore it.
"Well, that is alright", Daniell assured her that he didn't mind it, he was not the person to juge anyone by anything. He was the one wearing gloves at this heat, but he couldn't help it, it was wood anywhere in the building. He looked around himself, taking of the gloves and hurried to fold his hand together, it was good, they felt realy warm under the gloves.
"Sweetness" Fade sighed, relieved at the fact that he didn't mind her eyes. She looked over at his gloves and opened her mouth, but quickly closed it again, making sure she didn't offend him. duh, this is a mutant school, he probably has those gloves for some reason and it's not the best thing to talk about, it's like hime noticing your claws she thought to herself. As if she had been reminded, she looked down at her fingernails and toenails, no claws were visible, good.
I know what you think of" Daniel said to her. "you want to know why I wear gloves" I don't tell anybody, but I guess I can trust you.
I can't control my Chlorokinesis, and when i'm in contact with Wood, I well, I usually end up hurting eighter myself or someone else. It drains alot of energy as well, It hurts every time, I don't know why, but If I were to be able to control it I might be able to make the apain stop as well Daniel Looked down all the time, he didn't know what to say next, perhaps she even wanted him to take the gloves back on just in case.
"Well, I have yet to meet someone that could fully controll their power, I can't even. There are limitations to mine, it's just that I used it alot because of what I used to do, but if i didn't have to use it so much, I still would not know how to deal with it." She sighed, getting tired of having to hide her claws. Well, since he told me about his gloves, I can at least stop hiding these. Slowly, claws on her fingernails and toenails became visible and she smiled, having stopped concentrating to keep them hidden. SHe didn't have to hide them anymore, alot of people here have things they probably want to hide, but they can't, so why should she hid her abnormalty, after all, if it hadn't been for those claws, she'd still be living with her foster parents and thank goodness that didn't happen.
Daniel sudenly realized that she had claws, he had not seen it before, but that was mainly becouse she had them invisible. thinking about it for a second, he came to the conclusion that it actually didn't bother him. Everyone was different, he himself had a forked tounge, but he never showed it to anyone. "claws" Daniel Said in a curious way, " They are actually pretty cool" Daniel assured her, he knew that she had her reasons for hiding them, but he didn't say anything more about it.
"you think so?" She smiled, she looked back at them, but with a different point of view. Now the claws were good, it made her different which is what that place was for. "I've hated the look of them for a very long time but they are very useful."
"Well, they could. be quite usefull. Unlike me" Daniel looked at his hands with dispey, He didn't like wearing gloves, neighter did he enjoy everything happening. " what is there to do around here anyway?" Daniel asked her.
