The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

She was disappointed and the hunger Sam was feeling moments ago returned she was talking and he was again eating the eggs with a side of now semi cold crunchy bacon. Nodding his head during the duration of the chewing Sam cleared his mouth with a swallow of orange juice and then spoke, ”I understand” he had to show that he trusted her, that was something he could do, the best way would be not to snap at any guy he saw her with. Simple enough.
”To be honest I am glad you didn’t really meet any of them, some of them weren’t the nicest…” he let that comment hang in the air so he could take a sip of his orange juice before he would continue. ”I know your not the same as the others, your far better than them but can you honestly say you never thought quickly to yourself, that's different from how “He” used to do things, when ever we went out on a date?” Sam wasn’t implying that he thought about this all the time only that on occasion a quick thought such as that.
When she said she wasn’t going to cheat or leave him he let out a sigh of relief, he didn’t think she would over something like this but it was still nice to hear. Taking another sip of his juice and another full bite of food Sam smiled, ”Ohh and falling asleep in nothing but a bra was your idea.”
Alexandra nodded, her face lightening up a little as she picked up the coffee once again, sipping out of it. That is… until….
”… your far better than them but can you honestly say you never thought quickly to yourself, that's different from how “He” used to do things, when ever we went out on a date?”
Cause that was the second time when she was about to spit the contents of her mouth. But, luckily, she managed to keep them inside, and while fighting to swallow the coffee, her cheeks reddened. While placing her coffee mug down, Alexandra choose to keep her eyes on the tray. “Not really…” She muttered , shifting her eyes between the tray and the table. He really had to go into this, didn’t he?
”Ohh and falling asleep in nothing but a bra was your idea.”
Blue eyes snapped at Sam, but only for a moment, before returning to the tray when remembering that her cheeks must have kept the reddish color. “Can’t say that it was really me speaking right then…” She said with a sigh, while she tapped her finger against the coffee mug.

He stared at her for a moment and blinked, why did she shift her eyes? And why was she blushing so much? ”You know it’s not like I haven’t seen you naked before…” he said like it wasn’t that big of a deal. Sure he said this but whenever he did manage to see her in nothing but a bra and underwear he couldn’t help but grin like a little schoolboy. Hands reaching out to Alex’s and grasping them in a gentle hold, ”Nothing to be embarrassed about.”
Changing the subject back to past relationships he looked to her and had a curiously look on his face, ”Why is it you never talk about past relationships?” he talked about them more than he had cared to when she was around but never once had he ever heard her mentioning anything remotely close to a boyfriend or a date before. ”I know you just said you never referenced compared me to previous boyfriends but I’m sure you had to at least once.” he paused and thought about it, ”Where did you usually go to for dates around here, you seemed to know the park pretty well.”
Sam wasn’t really saying what she thought… oh, yes, he was. She really didn’t want to be reminded that Sam had seen her naked before. Her breath got stuck half-way to her lungs as she sank into her chair, head hanging low in an attempt to hide the fact that she was blushing. Well, blushing certainly sounded way too soft to the molecule manipulator right now. Nothing embarrassing, Sam said, holding her hands… So why exactly was that making her feel even more embarrassed than before?
And, as if mentioning the fact that he had seen her naked wasn’t enough, her past relationships were soon brought back into discussion. Please don’t go there, please don’t go there… Her silent pray was, however, unheard. Gulping down air, Alexandra sank even lower in the chair. Why did Sam have to ask that? Why?!
Blue eyes took a sneak peek at the ice mancer… the molecule manipulator sighed, Sam was clearly expecting an answer to his question/s. “No… I really didn’t think about someone else while I was with you…” She finally spoke, glancing at Sam from time to time but never more than one second. “There wasn’t anyone to think off…” She admitted, her voice lowering, in the hopes that Sam didn’t hear that. Sighing and wishing she’d just find away to vanish from her seat, she looked at Sam again for a few moments. “I don’t know where people go for dates around here… I know the park because I just went there when I wanted to be alone.” There. She’d answered his questions…and while sneakily glancing at Sam to see his reaction, she sank even lower in her chair, to the point where if she moved a couple of inches, she’d end up hiding under the table.

”Wasn’t anyone to think of?” Sam parroted when she spoke in a whisper. He defiantly heard it she wasn’t far from him to begin with and the fact that he was watching her didn’t aid the whisper to go unnoticed. ”What do you mean you grew up here right?” he tilted his head slightly as he tapped his finger on her hand, ”I’m sure you went on tons of dates here.” he paused and stared at his girlfriend who was sinking lower and lower into her chair while acting shifty.
”Wait…” he pulled his hands away to stair at her. He grinned and then started to laugh it was a short laugh but one nonetheless. ”Am I your first boyfriend?” he laughed again and shook his head no way was that possible, she was hot, and awesome and super caring there was no way he was her first boyfriend, just no possible way. Unless she lived a super sheltered life… well that wasn’t really an excuse Sam still managed to get a girlfriend of a friend with similar benefits when he was a kid, even if he was only out in the open on a mission for a week there was still the quick interaction.
Well either she had a reputation he wasn’t aware of when she lived here or her father had something to do with it. It made more sense than her hiding away from the world, maybe her father had managed to scare off any guy who came a knocking. After all politicians were good at intimidating people.
Sam was slow, Alexandra concluded once her boyfriend stated that he was sure that she had lots of dates. Seriously now…
But then, she assumed, realization kicked in. And he laughed. For the molecule manipulator it seemed the perfect moment to just get under the damn table. Was it that amusing the fact that she didn’t have a boyfriend before. One could easily be distracted from this kind of stuff by… let’s say mutant domination and all…
”Am I your first boyfriend?”
Hands dropped on her lap as Sam’s laughter echoed trough her head. Her cheeks were bright red and burning by now. Blue eyes found the table surprisingly interesting. “Are you trying to get me under the table or something?” She muttered, nervously playing with her fingers.
She sighed, glancing at Sam. “Yeah, you’re the first.” Alexandra admitted, eyes shifting back to the table. “Why is that so surprising?”

Sam stared at Alex who was getting lower and lower under the table and he couldn’t help but smile, the laughter died down seeing as now it was almost mean to laugh but he still couldn’t help but think that this was a funny situation. Reaching out and tugging her hand Sam pulled her upwards and towards him, “No I’m not trying to get you under the table, again you shouldn’t be embarrassed.” he smiled and kissed her hand once she was level with him, “It was just unexpected is all.”
He released her hands and took a sip of orange juice ”You just don’t seem the type not to have a boyfriend.” he grinned and set the juice down, “Your gorgeous, your one of the kindest girls I have ever met and you have a personality you are the package deal I’d figure I wasn’t the first one to notice that, but I guess I was wrong.” “Guess it’s more motivation for me not to mess this up then…” thought Sam as he continued to smile at his girlfriend.
“Can I ask how it is possible that you haven’t had a boyfriend yet?” he paused then added, I mean, you had to fight the boys off with a bat when you were younger right?” he asked curiously as he started to grin again, placing his hands under his chin he looked to Alex and said, “My way of getting to know you better is all, again you don’t have to be embarrassed.”
Being pulled up, Alexandra finally looked at Sam, for more than a second. With eyes locked on the ice mancer, she couldn’t help but notice that her embarrassment was growing and growing, reaching alarming levels although Sam’s words were supposed to calm it down. She sighed.
“I didn’t look like this all the time, Sam.” she stated, with a hint of a matter-of-factly tone in her voice. She didn’t go into details with this statement, just shrugging slightly. “There have been boys who noticed me, yeah… but I was preoccupied by something else.” Alexandra let her eyes travel for a few moments behind Sam, staring at the wall. “Learning about my powers was the most important.” She shifted her eyes back to Sam, shrugging again. “Then came the Registration Act and I left… Boys just didn’t make it to my list.” She concluded, biting on her lower lip. She couldn’t believe she was actually saying this stuff to Sam.

Sam grinned as he finished the last of his drink and looked to Alex, ”I love girls who know what they want.” he gave a small wink and then pushed the chair behind him and stood up, ”Try and eat something, even if it is a little bit, it will make things easier for you trust me.” he was of course talking from experience hoping he would take her advice Sam walked over to Alex and kissed her on the cheek. ”I’m glad that I am your first, just makes me want to be that much better to you.”
He leaned up and took off his shirt that was torn from the night before. Tossing the shirt on her bed Sam was now topless in her room ”I think I’ll just shower here seeing as the bathroom has a few extra towels." Now with a smug grin on his face Sam winked at Alex, ”No peeking now”
Heading to the bathroom door he turned his head around, ”Ohh if your going to go check on Jewel make sure she is up and moving, we have to leave in a few hours and I want her to be ready tell her to dress for the outdoors.” he had told her this before but seeing as she had a busy night he wasn’t sure if Jewel was ready for the day yet.
Unsure of what to say, Alexandra remained quiet, while trying to get a hold on herself. Did every relationship you were involved into required this amount of embarrassment while in the presence of your significant other or it was the fact that she was twenty years old and soooo new to this stuff? She really had no idea.
”I think I’ll just shower here seeing as the bathroom has a few extra towels."
Still quiet, Alexandra nodded at Sam. And she quickly turned away when Sam started to undress himself. Coughing, she picked up her coffee and sipped from it, absently looking at the drained lemons on the food tray.
”No peeking now”
Once again, Alexandra chocked with her coffee. Coughing and mentally swearing at her own stupidity, Alexandra gave Sam an incredulous look. “Are you trying to kill me or something?” She complained, occasional coughs interrupting her words. A hand went up to her eyes to wipe the beginning of tears that formed in her eyes because of her latest incident with the coffee.
”Ohh if your going to go check on Jewel make sure she is up and moving, we have to leave in a few hours and I want her to be ready tell her to dress for the outdoors.”
Alexandra just nodded in response, having difficulties to talk, her throat being sore from the coughing. Really, did Sam held some kind of grudge against the liquids she tried to drink. She Shook her head as Sam entered the bathroom, and seconds later, the molecule manipulator eyed the food. “Bleah.” Was her only opinion of it. Sure, Sam was right, not eating would most likely have its negative consequences during her mission with Streak but then again it looked like a much better option than throwing up while on mission with Streak.
Instead, she went to the closet, to get herself ready. A few minutes later, Alexandra was wearing her uniform. After zipping up her boots, she proceeded with strapping a couple of blades on her thighs. Sure, she was perhaps the best at using the surroundings for her best interest but she and Streak were walking in blindly in this mission. Better be safe than sorry. Picking up a couple of other useful stuff and securing them to her belt, she moved on to her trench coat. Putting it on but without actually buttoning it up, she started to pace around the room while waiting for Sam to get out of the shower.

Five minutes that was all he needed, long showers were after all a luxury one that he didn’t have time for, he was to preoccupied with going over the information about his latest upcoming mission in his head. Soap, shampoo, rinse and towel and he were ready to go. Walking out of the shower wrapped in his towel he quickly dried off and put his pants back on. Yes, he knew he wore them the night before and the day before but it didn’t matter, he would be getting them dirty soon enough anyways.
Shirtless and towel on his head Sam walked out of the bathroom and spotted Alex waiting for him. Letting out a low whistle and a grin he asked curiously, ”Why don’t you ever dress up like that when we go out?” he eyed her suit up and down a few times. Easy on the eyes was an understatement. The leather hugged her curves as the jacket did little to cover her… urm assets. Again he stared and his jaw slackened for a moment, only to be hidden in the towel on his head as he ruffled his hair and put his shoes on.
”Now when you ask if I was trying to kill you… you wouldn’t be trying to do the same would you?” now grinning and finishing in tying his boot he stood up and then brushed his pants, ”Need to stop by my room real quick, need a shirt and a jacket.” the only thing he really needed was a shirt in this weather but appearances were everything when incognito so he had to suck it up and wear a jacket for the time being.
A few steps from the door and Sam passed Alex and stopped short, towel swinging around his neck Sam eyed her waistline and then eyes trailed down to the knives at her side. ”Expecting trouble?” he teased as he took a step closer to her.
Left, right, left, right. Alexandra was still pacing trough the room, humming a song as she did so. The sound of the door opening made her turn around to see Sam… with a towel on his head. She smirked at the image… he looked… cute. That is, until…
”Why don’t you ever dress up like that when we go out?”
Alexandra could have sworn that there was some reddish pointy tail at his back, swinging left and right while he eyed her with that devilish grin of his. Damn. And she had just gotten the normal color in her cheeks. She was almost tempted to button up her coat at incredible speed, but, instead, she held her chin high, arms folded in front of her. She even smiled.
”Now when you ask if I was trying to kill you… you wouldn’t be trying to do the same would you?”
An eyebrow arched. “Only fair.” She commented with a chuckle.
”Need to stop by my room real quick, need a shirt and a jacket.”
Alexandra nodded, unfolding her arms as Sam stopped next to her. Eyeing the knives she had on her.
”Expecting trouble?”
She bit her lower lip, body moving closer to Sam. “Better safe than sorry…” She replied, arms wrapping around Sam’s neck. For a few seconds she just kept her eyes locked with his, smiling. Then, without much of a warning she pressed her lips against his, locking them in a kiss.
In the same sudden manner as she started, Alexandra pulled away, gesturing toward the door. “Ready to go?” Because either they moved on now, or she wasn’t sure if she’d let him go on this mission without her.

The lip bite, Alex’s tell tale sign that she was thinking of something, debating really if she should say or do something. He grinned as she took a step closer. Sam knew what was about to happen all thanks to the lip bite. He didn’t know if she was aware of the subtle hint she always gave him but he liked to keep her in the dark about it less she would start changing her, ”Should I do this or not face” he liked that face he had begun to expect every now and then.
Opening his arms as she wrapped hers around his neck his hand went to her waist and started to wrap around her. ”Safe is good!” He gave a small squeeze as she moved in for the kiss glad he could return it in full. However just as Sam was getting into it she pulled back as suddenly as she initiated the kiss. Letting out a small laugh Sam grinned and released her waist, ”Think it might be fair to assume that you’ll succeed in killing me before I get another chance to do it to you.”
She gestured to the door and reluctantly Sam nodded his head, ”Probably should get going.” Towel still on his neck Sam slouched as he walked out of her room. He knew that this was the last time he would see her for a while, and talking was possibly out of the question, stealth missions did make it difficult to talk to each other. He knew the sooner they both left they sooner they could be reunited.
”Let me know when your done with your mission, cause I’m pretty sure by the time you guys finish Jewel and I will be sitting around the mansion drinking hot cocoa waiting for you guys.” said Sam in an over confident and teasing matter. Puffing out his chest and straitening his posture Sam looked to Alex and smiled. ”Be Safe!”
A sly grin was Alexandra’s answer to Sam’s comment about her being the first one to ‘kill’ him. Indeed it was fair to assume it. Alexandra moved as soon as Sam did, but first picking up the bottle of painkillers from earlier. One never knew when needed one, especially when the previous night involved some alcohol. Okay… a lot of alcohol.
”Let me know when your done with your mission, cause I’m pretty sure by the time you guys finish Jewel and I will be sitting around the mansion drinking hot cocoa waiting for you guys… Be safe!”
Alexandra eyed Sam as she closed the door and laughing, she proceeded to lock it. “Aren’t you a confident one.” Pocketing the keys, she turned back to Sam. “I’ll come to your room when I’m done.” She added, tilting her head to the side, still amused. “Take care of you Sam.” Her face turned from amused to a serious one as she finished speaking. She knew Sam’s tendency of throwing himself in front of the danger and it made her feel nervous. But she had to trust him on this one. Her expression changed again, to a more relaxed one. “And take care of Lily. I’ll kick your ass if you bring my partner in crime with a scratch on her.” Grinning slightly, she placed a quick peck on Sam’s lips. “See you later…” She caught herself before calling him Sam. Instead, remembering their little pet names game from the border mission, she chose another word. “… baby.” The grin widened, and with a wink, she spun on her heels, heading for Jewel’s room.
