The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Alexandra blinked lazily at the driver to her left. A sweet smile appeared on her lips. A charming one, actually. The man smiled back at her, somehow looking surprised.
3…2…1…
And her car moved, getting past the car to her left and quickly sliding in the front. Oh well, traffic in Bucharest was a pain in the ass and each had its own ways to deal with it. “Idiot.” Alexandra muttered, smiling. In her rearview mirror, she could see a pissed off driver and hear the honking behind her. Alexandra pressed the button that opened her window and getting a hand out, she waved at him before speeding away.
In quite a good mood, Alexandra turned on the radio, music blasting trough the speakers of her rented car. Singing along, she drove her way to the Underground Headquarters. Today… well, today, she had planned yet another meeting with a single-minded Underground Leader.
Still singing, Alexandra stopped the car as she reached the apparently deserted warehouse. Music stopped, the molecule manipulator stopping her singing with it as she pushed the door open and humming the song she’d last listened to, got out of the car.
Blink. Blink.
3… 2… 1…
“Circe! What are you doing here?”
And, apparently out of nowhere, a girl materialized in front of her. Behind her, a man that held his hand on the girl’s shoulder nodded toward Alexandra, as if acknowledging her presence.
“Crystal. Rocky.” Alexandra smiled at the girl and nodded toward the man. “I came to see Pacifica.” she announced, still smiling. The car beeped behind her to signal that the doors had been locked as she pushed a button on the mini remote in her hand.
“Oh, cool! Let me tell them.” Nodding enthusiastically , Crystal pulled out a small device and after pressing a button on it she spoke. “It’s Circe. She’s coming in.”
Alexandra nodded once as she began to move toward the entrance. Without a second thought she pushed the door open and entered.
Abyss sat in a high backed chair with a woman on his lap her arms strung affectionately around what she could reach of his neck. Her name was Pacifica and he was currently having a private audience with her, out of the room she had been all whip cracking control and business, he appreciated it, for what she was. but apparently the woman had other ideas for “red liberty” and who she saw as the male leader of the American forces...perhaps it was the speech that did it for her? Abyss didn't know.
Pacifica was attempting to be manipulative, unbeknownst to Abyss, she hadn’t realized that they were honestly here to shake things the heck up and then leave, she seemed to think that they had ulterior motives and she also seemed to think that they, or more immediately, He was in need of convincing to do what she asked. He could have told her several times that it was unnecessary but, he didn’t want to insult the woman’s pride more so, she was sexy. The fact that she thought she was using him was kind of fun since she was only using her self. She played the part well, unless of course she was only remise to be with someone understanding of the same level of control. And then h might feel bad about all the misconceived intrigue.
~~“It’s Circe. She’s coming in.”
And just like that Pacifica hoped off of his lap and struck that Tigress on the hunt pose she had been working on.
“patience dear.” She said to him as if he had called foul, did she eve notice, that he didn’t seem to mind, that he was more interested in the words ‘It’s Circe.’ He would have to be careful not to insult his host here.
Abyss straitened slightly as the X woman was soon to be walking through the door. “but of course.” The Romanian rolled off his dragon speaking tongue.
Mutants of all ages, shapes and sizes greeted her. Some did not even notice her presence. Some followed her with curious glances. Some of the older members recognized her as Circe and waved or nodded in her direction. She waved or nodded as well as she made her way to Pacifica’s private retreat.
Alexandra didn’t knock. After all, Crystal had just announced the Underground Leader of her arrival. Whatever activities she had been doing were to be stopped upon her entrance. Mentally, she smiled. There were few situations involving Pacifica that might have surprised the molecule manipulator. After years spent with the green-eyed female she had walked in some interesting situations. Some of which she really didn’t want to see but… apparently Pacifica was never disturbed by interferences during her intimate moments.
As she had previously thought, the situation in Pacifica’s chamber was far from surprising. Alexandra was well aware of the Order’s presence in Romania from her previous visit to the Underground headquarters, and although she hadn’t quite seen any member, she guessed that the red troublesome Abyss was here.
The molecule manipulator closed the door behind her, smirking in Abyss’ direction as he spoke in Romanian (she did wonder how the Dragon Speak Gems got to the Underground), then, lazily, she let her eyes travel to Pacifica. “Hello Pacifica.” she said, in Romanian, before looking back at Abyss. “I must confess, I had a feeling that you’d be the one they call Red Liberty.” This time she spoke in English, not really caring if Pacifica had used one of the gems or not. Still smirking, she moved forward, closer to the two. “Are you Abyss, or one of the clones?” Always safe to ask, although she doubted that Pacifica would chose anything else but the original.
“You two know each other?” Pacifica’s somehow confused and unpleased voice interrupted Alexandra’s thoughts. (And, the molecule manipulator noted, as Pacifica spoke in English perfectly, she had taken the Dragon Speak gem as well.) Blue eyes traveled to the Underground leader, looking at her amused. “You could say that.”
~~ “I must confess, I had a feeling that you’d be the one they call Red Liberty”
“oh, are you disappointed? Yes, they had me at red liberty, how could refuse such a request.”
A sly grin slid over Abyss features, he didn’t typically play mind games but the one before him demanded it some how, she was like silk, to look upon her was a need to touch her and prove to yourself that she was as pleasing to touch as she was to look at. But that silk also veiled a potent danger, this one was gifted indeed.
~~ “Are you Abyss, or one of the clones?”
“I assure you, that the mere mortal clones, are just as real as me.” He answered her question without Actually answering.
**“You two know each other?”
~~“You could say that.”
“We merely acquainted, it is as they say a small world.” He rose to his feet and brushedup against Pacifica as she had so subtly alerted him to her need for a quiet meeting. His look could have been the slight, displaying that he could be interested should do enough to hinder the insult that was surely written on velvets face when he was viewing Silk.
“oh, are you disappointed? Yes, they had me at red liberty, how could refuse such a request.”
“Disappointed? By you?” Alexandra asked, feigning a bit of surprise on her face. She shook her head, only once, before letting one corner of her lip to curl up in amusement. “Never.” The line of her lips turned straight again, as, slowly, she slid even closer.
“I assure you, that the mere mortal clones, are just as real as me.” He answered her question without Actually answering.
The molecule manipulator chuckled slightly and stopped, a mere foot away from the two. “Oh, I am sorry. I did not plan on that sounding as an offense. I know that the real are just as real as yourself.” Oh, yes, she had even met two of them once. Also, she had gained a hug from one of them as well. A smile coated in honey appeared on her lips. A mischievous one, too. “The reason I asked… well, you can say I have been… searching for you.”
“We merely acquainted, it is as they say a small world.”
Once again, she played pretend. This time, shock. Alexandra even gasped slightly. “Merely acquainted?” She chanted in a voice touched by an exaggerated drama. “I am offended.” Oh, and indeed, she played her role quite good. “You ask me if you could join me in the shower and now you say that we are merely acquainted?” Circumstances were not important at this point. Blue eyes slid from Abyss to Pacifica and her confused expression. “That hurts a girl’s feelings.” And she was the epitome of hurt as she let her eyes travel back to Abyss, just as Pacifica was frowning at the two of them. “Someone could tell me what’s going on?” Pacifica’s impatient voice did not manage to get her attention. Instead, she smiled sweetly at Abyss and let him do the explaining.
~~“oh, are you disappointed? Yes, they had me at red liberty, how could refuse such a request.”
“Disappointed? By you?” had someone mistaken him for Venus yet again? “Never.” Quite possibly, either that or Circe and Shinbo had a little talk. The corners of his moth rose slightly. Would he be as bold in this body as he was in that one? He didn’t think he should be particularly here in front of Pacifica. Being in a different body was like being on vacation in a different state where no one knew you, it was liberating because he could do whatever he wanted with out consequence…or so he had thought.
“Oh, I am sorry. I did not plan on that sounding as an offense. I know that the real are just as real as yourself.” “The reason I asked… well, you can say I have been… searching for you.”
oh the mind games, he tried to remember that while she was quite the piece of eye candy…dessert? She could still be poisonous. And now he didn’t hold the immunity of being a compatriot.
~~“Merely acquainted “I am offended.” “You ask me if you could join me in the shower and now you say that we are merely acquainted?” “That hurts a girl’s feelings.”
“show me where it hurts and I’ll kiss it.” politics be damned.
At this Abyss dropped all pretense and smiled showing his bright white and predatory teeth. “you can let me properly apologize later, or take the token that perhaps if you hadn’t turned me away, we would be on terms that the word merely need not be applied to. We haven’t yet even been properly introduced.” He reached out a hand to take hers.
++“Someone could tell me what’s going on?”
Abyss’s mind snapped to back to the fact of where he was and what he had almost been doing moments before, with another mere acquaintance. “ It seems Pacifica, that you can’t leave New York with out a bit of its legendary mystique and intrigue following you.” It wasn’t much if any of an explanation, Pacifica was asking his factions help, perhaps she might work harder to secure his loyalty… a bit of feminine attention wouldn’t hurt, Circe might need to see how he should be treated. Thought the way she said never disappointed said that she might have changed her mind.
He then got a wicked Idea in his head and looked to Circe’s side. she might tell him later, or he might just read it strait off of her skin.
Oh, such a charming one, Abyss was. Certainly much more fun to play with now that he was in his own body and not one of her best friend’s body. Alexandra slipped a small hand into his. “Well, nice to meet you Abyss. All official-like.” The molecule manipulator chanted. Then, with a smile remaining on her lips, she retreated her hand and shifted her attention to Pacifica and… of course, her tiny display of jealousy.
Alexandra broadened her smile at Abyss’ answer. Then she laughed briefly. Pacifica didn’t seem to understand better whatever what was going on and signs of understanding somewhere in the near future didn’t exist either. “Abyss here… has been…” She paused, watching the Underground leader amused. “Naughty, naughty.” She finally said while blue eyes traveled to Abyss again. Yes. Naughty quite suited him.
~~“Well, nice to meet you Abyss. All official-like.”
“The pleasure, I assure you, is all mine.”
For a split moment he considered taking the x-man out, he had her hand in his and could have easily crushed it, a yank would have dislocated it or worse, or asimple pull would have brought the rest of her pretty flesh closer to him and death. But he had no real reason to take her out and she was exquisitely powerful, she should be kept in the gene pool indeed. Besides he was making a bit more ground with her now, and for what ever reason it surprised him.
~~ “Abyss here… has been…” “Naughty, naughty.”
He liked those words on her lips, and hadn’t he heard that she was that Ice guy’s playmate? Oh that could do much more to pull at the teams morale then simply killing her, seducing there women. Ah now this was plot worthy of his brother, but he supposed he would have to do.
**“Naughty?”
“Always. Typically dear, the people I work with and the people our Circe works with does not see eye to eye. I did a bit of infiltration and played a bit with Circe with out her being any the wiser at the time, no harm done, I think as she was quite steadfast in her behavior. Perhaps a vacation to Romania has taken care of such pesky moral?”
His eyes ran down her once more, he was so curious about what the ink said under her skin, he simply had to know. Hmmm, he wondered momentarily about possibilities of asking Circe to join them in there pursuit of diplomacy. Both women seemed a bit possessive and aggressive for that. He would keep that in his pocket if the opportunity presented itself.
“ Was there something we could help you with Circe?
This meeting proved to be quite entertaining, Alexandra decided. Of course, minus Pacifica who was either glaring at her or just looking confused. Certainly, she didn’t expect to find here the man who posed as Shin and got her confused for a couple of weeks.
As Abyss explained to Pacifica in a few words what he has done, Alexandra chose to only smirk, and once Abyss asked her what they could do to help, she smiled.
“I can’t say I understand.” Pacifica spoke, sounding quite displeased. “Who are you working with?”
Of course Pacifica would ask that. “I work with the X-Men.” Alexandra replied, turning toward the woman. “The lovely Abyss here, as you might know,” She gestured toward Abyss, glancing briefly at him “Works with the Order.” Alexandra chuckled, folding her arms. “Our groups are not exactly the best buddies out there.”
Pacifica just stared at the molecule manipulator with a rather incredulous look. “You’re with the X-Men?” Alexandra simply nodded and let it at that, letting the older woman get over this piece of information before speaking again. She turned toward Abyss. “As for why I am here. I actually came to talk with Pacifica. The ways the Underground and the Order deal with the situation are not exactly the best. And don’t show too many positive results, I might add.” She spoke, switching from her amused mode to a much more serious one.
~~ “I work with the X-Men.” “The lovely Abyss here, as you might know,” “Works with the Order.” “Our groups are not exactly the best buddies out there.”
“oh come now. We haven’t actually deemed you enemies either, I mean you are all still alive and kicking surely you know that if we took our little rivalry serious, there would be a lot more blood on our hands.”
**. “You’re with the X-Men?”
Oh? There was more to Circe than was initially apparent; she wasn’t the innocent that he first thought. The look on Pacifica’s face was almost too much. He wanted to crack up.
~~ “As for why I am here. I actually came to talk with Pacifica. The ways the Underground and the Order deal with the situation are not exactly the best. And don’t show too many positive results, I might add.”
“Oh? Are we going to pass out flyers and set up picket lines? Oh! I know maybe we could have a sit in on a main road. Or we couold have a march…into the camps maybe? Lets talk it out right? I don’t suppose, Circe that you were in the camps in New York, knew anybody that died there?” his voice was low and cutting as he circled the room and walked up to her, his hands gently finding there way to her waist. “but I Relent, what is it that the Xmen suggest?”
“oh come now. We haven’t actually deemed you enemies either, I mean you are all still alive and kicking surely you know that if we took our little rivalry serious, there would be a lot more blood on our hands.”
Alexandra bit her lip before she could make any comment. Over confident the Order members were, she noticed slightly amused. And still, she had yet to see anything else than bloodshed and massacres coming out of their hands. She dismissed the comment Abyss made. After all, she wasn’t that much of an X-Man member.
“Oh? Are we going to pass out flyers and set up picket lines? Oh! I know maybe we could have a sit in on a main road. Or we couold have a march…into the camps maybe? Lets talk it out right? I don’t suppose, Circe that you were in the camps in New York, knew anybody that died there?but I Relent, what is it that the Xmen suggest?”
The line of her lips became suddenly straight. Abyss had moved closer to her, his hands resting now on her hips. She didn’t move. Only her head accommodated with this new position, giving the man a defiant look. “I find your comments highly inappropriate, Abyss.” She replied, and although inside she was boiling, her voice was calm and composed. “I haven’t come here to suggest dancing our way into the camps, nor to pass out flyers with clouds and rainbows and hearts drawn across them.” Her fists clenched to her sides as she continued. “And I didn’t come here as a X-Man either. I came here because this is my home we are talking about and I doubt that you would want the best for this country more than I do.” Her voice became sharper as well as her eyes as she never took her eyes of Abyss. “And no. I wasn’t in the camps in New York. I didn’t know anyone who died there. But I know people who where in the camps here, during the first Registration Act. My friends disappeared or died and those who came back were never the same. So yes, I know just how cruel humans are. I know that perhaps we deserve to have our revenge. I know that they deserve to be killed.”
She sighed, pausing for a few seconds. “But a blood bath is not gonna solve the problem. Killing them just makes things worse.” Her eyes went past Abyss’ figure, staring somewhere at the wall behind him. With the corner of her eye, she could see Pacifica staring at her in disbelief. Alexandra was surprised herself that these words were coming out of her mouth. And what was stranger, is that she actually believed. After the episode with her father and the start of the second Registration Act, she had changed. “There are always others who will come. Worse than the previous. And killing them just increases the hatred for our kind. I doubt that this is the answer we’re is looking for.”
He was laughing internally how easy it was to push her buttons. She was touchy about the pansy ways of her x team. It wasn’t so much that she was ranting or raving as he had managaed to wipe that amused cat look off of her face.
~~“I find your comments highly inappropriate, Abyss.”
“that seems to be the pattern, yes.”
~~ “I haven’t come here to suggest dancing our way into the camps, nor to pass out flyers with clouds and rainbows and hearts drawn across them.”
uh oh, her delicate little fists were clenched, how cute!
~~ “And I didn’t come here as a X-Man either. I came here because this is my home we are talking about and I doubt that you would want the best for this country more than I do.”
“I don’t give a damn about the country, just the neo-sapiens in it.”
~~ “And no.
He opened his mouth ready to thank her for coming to her senses, but she didn’t stop there. He could see it in her eyes. “Perhaps?” he questioned astounded.
~~“But a blood bath is not gonna solve the problem. Killing them just makes things worse.” “There are always others who will come. Worse than the previous. And killing them just increases the hatred for our kind. I doubt that this is the answer we’re is looking for.”
“You said it yourself, they have earned their death, even if they hadn’t they persist on buying it now. They push and they push and what will we do? Keep them around so their successors don’t come forward? That is pitiful, let them come, they can follow the others to their grave. A bath is exactly what the world needs, perhaps once it bathes; it will be clean, pure. The next generation wont have to worry about what the humans want. They will only wonder what it was like back when the humans had a say in the fate of the world. Find it odd that the backward little creatures ever held the reigns to anything.”
“Tell me then if we don’t give them what they deserve, then what exactly do we do? Parlay? What do you think it will take to convince them to stop?”
His fingers at her waist stretched. “Before you answer that, let me apologize.” He tilted his head slightly to get a look at her side as he raised her shirt and attempted to read the words that were scrawled there in tattoo ink. It would look like he was simply going to attempt undress her but it stopped at the point of inappropriate, before it moved into a form of real harassment.
Alexandra sighed. She wasn’t really getting anywhere with Abyss. And she was seeing who was fueling the Underground’s violence. A frown appeared on her face, one which continued to exist until Abyss rolled up her shirt to get a better look at the tattoo. For a moment, she just froze into place, a little bit too shocked. Then, pushing the air out of her lungs rapidly, she took a step back, away from Mr. Rude. Rolling her shirt back down, she folded her arms and pursed her lips together as she looked at the man. “Well, I noticed that you are one who takes what he wants without asking but if you want to see my tattoo, then please ask me to show it.”
Pacifica herself was a little shocked by this, hell, she even forgot to close her mouth and only when Alexandra glanced at the older woman she realized that her jaw was slightly ajar.
Blue eyes returned to Mr. Rude quickly, not letting the interruption shut her mouth like Abyss had probably expected. “As for what you said earlier. That’s the problem. You don’t care about anything. I don’t know what convinced you to come in Romania but it wasn’t the fact that you felt sorry for mutants. You don’t give a damn about them. If you did, then you wouldn’t let her, ” she gestured toward Pacifica briefly “send them in missions that are most likely to end in either death or capture. For you, the death or the capture of one of the idiots outside these doors” Again she raised her hand to gesture toward the doors “is just a motivation for others to hate humans more and to be willing to do as you like, even sacrifice their life for your cause. A cause that I doubt that it even concerns them. So no, Abyss, I don’t think you care for anything else than your interests, whatever they might be.”
She stopped abruptly, starring at the man with piercing blue eyes, expecting for an answer.
“You’ve changed.”
She turned toward Pacifica, and sighed. “I did. And it’s time for you to do the same.”
(if he managed to see, What does it say? I’m actually curious OOC as well.)
~~“Well, I noticed that you are one who takes what he wants without asking but if you want to see my tattoo, then please ask me to show it.”
“Asking didn’t do me much good last time and you have no clue how freaking curious I have been since that day. “
If Pacifica was shocked she wasn’t paying attention to how he was and she certainly couldn’t have known how much he hated being curious about something. Typically he would have simply attempted to charm her, but he couldn’t help it , he was going to go insane.
“As for what you said earlier. That’s the problem. You don’t care about anything. I don’t know what convinced you to come in Romania but it wasn’t the fact that you felt sorry for mutants. You don’t give a damn about them. If you did, then you wouldn’t let her, ”
His Jaw clenched tight, if he opened his mouth words were going to fly from them in a fury. He inhaled deeply trying to keep his temper in check.
~~ “send them in missions that are most likely to end in either death or capture. For you, the death or the capture of one of the idiots outside these doors”
~~“is just a motivation for others to hate humans more and to be willing to do as you like, even sacrifice their life for your cause. A cause that I doubt that it even concerns them. So no, Abyss, I don’t think you care for anything else than your interests, whatever they might be.”
“Oh, really, you walk through this camp for what a minute, two get out of a car and come strait here and you know what the hell is going on, what I am doing here and what I care about?” he all but screamed at here.
His red eyes stared back with a hard anger. An old anger, one that he could barely control. His brothers were happily guarded in his mind when he went threw the years of torture in the labs. It was him that suffered physically, it was him that saw the hatred on the guards faces, it was him that saw the look of pleasure on the human faces before they tortured him. his fist clenched so hard that the red flesh was starting to darken with his proud mutant blood.
He spoke in a quiet that was the polar opposite of his expression and the prior rage that was his volume hitting its peak. “You would do well to listen better, I care about our people, the dirt they walk on is insignificant, if these people are ready to fight for them selves and their countrymen then good. If these people are ready to stop letting them selves be killed by human’s so the can be free, then good. If you think I haven’t risked, my self, my brothers, and all the rest of the family I brought here from the sanctuary, then you couldn’t be more wrong. Romanian mutants won’t suffer in camps, the time they are in there will be short. I am going there my self soon enough to ensure that the camps are safer for us than them. Don’t come preach to me about what we should be doing better. Look at any oppressed people, at some point they have to land to stand and fight, we wouldn’t be here if the human’s hadn’t insisted on trying to own us.”
**“You’ve changed.”
~~“I did. And it’s time for you to do the same.”
“You have lofty words about how wrong we are, but I haven’t heard you suggest anything that we could do that would work better.” The hate in his eye relinquished. “ Look, if you can tell us a way to make things better, than show me. Help us. If you care a bout them, then stop just reacting show us a way to be proactive. If you can’t do that, then what did you come here for?”
The beast of a red man attempted to relax his posture and make him self appear as if he wasn’t considering smashing the woman in front of him. but felt that a posture change simply wasn’t enough. He took a deep breath and walked over to a comfortable chair and set down.
[OOC: Changed the Hebraic to Arabic. This means ‘No pain is forever.’ OOC I can satisfy your curiosity. IC, I think a curious Abyss is fun. ]
A simple smile appeared on Alexandra’s face as soon as Abyss mentioned his curiosity. “Curiosity killed the cat, Abyss.” She spoke, chewing on her lip amused. No, she wasn’t going to satisfy that curiosity anytime soon. She enjoyed this curiosity too much.
Abyss’ anger didn’t impress her much. She hadn’t dealt with Order members for long but somehow she could bet that they didn’t posses much patience. Abyss’ reaction proved that with at least this Order member her assumptions were correct. She knew that her words would provoke anger. She tilted her head to the side, molecules of Oxygen dancing under her command around Abyss’ head. One command, less than a second and the Order member would find out what she was capable off. She bet that he couldn’t reach her before he would be craving for oxygen desperately.
Alexandra’s posture was relaxed, just the slight change of color in the blue of her eyes announcing that she was ready to fight, if that was needed. No, she didn’t plan on making the first move, she didn’t come to the Underground to hurt anyone but she was ready to fight if that was required.
“Abyss.” She spoke calmly. “I’m not here to insult you, but considering what I told you earlier, you’re either a good actor and you know those people are sent in dangerous missions when they barely got any control of their mutations or you’re kept in the dark and you have no idea of how she thinks.” Blue eyes turned toward Pacifica. The woman had moved from her position toward the chair Abyss was on while Alexandra spoke. Pacifica’s eyes were piercing as she turned toward Alexandra while hopping on Abyss’ lap, an arm wrapping around his neck. The ‘use your charms’ technique to keep people to your side, Alexandra noticed with a smile.
“As for me getting out of my comfy car and walking around this camp for a few minutes. No. Sorry. That’s incorrect. I’ve spent years in the Underground, Abyss. Years next to her.” Alexandra gestured toward Pacifica, sighing. “I doubt you know better than me how things work.” She shrugged, before moving closer to the wall. Molecules of oxygen danced around Abyss and Pacifica’s head. A few seconds and they’d be dead. End of the story. The over-confident Pacifica would have no idea what hit her. When she’d realize that her powers stopped affecting the molecule manipulator a long time ago, it would be too late. But Alexandra resisted.
“And I am not here to speak about the actions me or my team have chosen to take. It would be stupid of me to share those plans with someone who could easily become the enemy. I am here to let you know that our objectives are similar. And I’m here to ask you to let us handle this situation.” And by us, of course she meant both Kabal and X-Men.
