The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Juka stood looking critically up at the door for Club Evolution. It didnt' really look like much to him, but he had been told that this was the place to be if you were a mutant and wanted to have a night on the town. And he was most certainly the type to enjoy a good night on the town and needed a good night of fun now more than ever. Between his powers going a little crazy in recent weeks and the fact that he was feeling the need to start perfmoning again stronger than ever, Juka decided that a night of clubbing and dancing and perhaps some other activities that often went with the former two was in order. Perhaps, if he was lucky, he might even make himself a connection or two that could open up the opportunity to once again find himself on stage.
Juka went out all with his clothing tonight, knowing that he simply must make a good impression. His hair was done up in elaborate braids and he wore dramatic makeup, choosing to go with a red and orange theme with some darker black highlights. He opted for layered skirts for his dress, overlapping dark reds and dramatic oranges that billowed gloriously when he spun and danced. He also wore 3 inch black stilletto boots and was quite proud of his skill and elegence in walking with them, a skill that had taken quite a lot of practice to master. Upon his hands he wore black velvet gloves and completing the look was an elegent black and silver choker. He looked good and he knew it.
After giving himself a careful once over Juka pushed open the door and confidently strode in. Glancing around he was pleased to realize that there had been a reason for the recemendation of this place after all; it was one of the more high class places he had been to and he was certainly impressed. It was also one of the few places he had been to, outside of The Mansion, in which mutants could be seen and were not ashamed to show what they were. With a confident smirk, Juka sauntered over to the bar and sat himself down. He was the best looking person here and he knew it.
The Seven....Er the Six were in full motion it was already a bit early but Geo was in town and they wanted the club jumping by the time he got her so they, set forth to make things happen. They had called alot of friends from the sanctuary in and so the crowd tonight was the usual supplemented by the roughneck, cut throat citizens of the sanctuary to make for an absolutely wild atmosphere. Abyss waited at a table in a corner sipping on something green and glowing, part of the fun of this particular club was the mutant staff. from the telekinetic waitress, to the enchanter bartender that would make drinks glow or swirl or do a hundred other things just for kicks. to his right was Jupiter who was already knocking back drink after drink.
Saturn and Mercury as usual were playing pool some where and Venus was cruising for tail er nope Venus was already settling himself across the room from someone, he didn't know who but the ease in his stance had changed and some poor thing was now in his sights. Mars being the mood wrecker he was decided to go and meet with brain freeze, the bars owner. apparently the man was networking and ensuring him that their deinizens wouldn't cause any more trouble than anyone else.
Geo was excited about tonight. A party at Club Evolution. Not only that but the man he had looked up to like a big brother since he came to the Order was there, Abyss. Excited to see his old friend after being on the road for so long Geo had gotten ready quickly, dressing in his slick dark blue clubbing shirt with a white muscle shirt underneath and a pair of nice khaki's, his clubbing get up. Of course he had to bring along his hang on, the girl who was currently crashing in the loft of his garage.
He drove down the road, over the speed limit as always, towards the club. Club Evolution had always been one of his favorite hang outs, many of the people from the Sanctuary hung out there too, the Mutant club next to never had humans there so it was always peaceful for Geo.
The young elemental parked his Plymouth Road Runner in the back lot, next to the emergency exit. Experience told him that having a car next to the emergency exit always came in handy.
Walking into the party brought a huge smile on his face. The loud music pounded from the speakers, mutants danced like maniacs on the dance floor and just walking in he recognized at least a dozen people from the sanctuary, six of them being Abyss and his clones. But first thing was first, Geo needed a drink. Stopping at the bar Geo ordered several drinks, one for himself and another for Catherine. Flashing his masterly forged ID Geo took his drink, which strobed between every color of the rainbow, and headed towards the table in the corner where Abyss himself sat.
Walking up to the table Geo's grin grew wide as he saw his friend. "Abyss! Good to see you old buddy." He said holding out his hand in greeting. "Well, most of you anyways." He said jokingly, only counting six Big Reds in the crowd. "This is Catherine. Catherine, this is Abyss." He said gesturing from his companion to the large red mutant.
(OOC: Abyss, if you figure Juka wouldn't be able to pick Venus out of the crowd of clones let me know and I'll edit appropriately.)
Juka sat at the bar sipping his drink waiting for someone to approach him. Because someone would approach him, it was only a matter of time and likely not very much time at that. He was Juka Miami, after all, and he knew that he was every bit as fabulous as anyone could be. He was clearly the most stunning person there, male or female, and it wouldn't take long for others to realize what was so plainly self evident.
It was at that moment that Juka spoted him, or rather tham. How he had initially missed the giant red man was beyond him but he was rather unmistakable and the moment he saw his beautiful Prince Venus, Juka's heart was a flutter. He remembered so very fondly their one night together in which he had been treated like a royal princess. Oh how he had dreamed of seeing his Venus again and now his greatest wish had come true. Venus, the beautiful darling man, had come back for him.
Just as Juka was about to run up and embrace his Venus, he spotted another giant red man. In fact, he spotted 5 other giant red men. He blinked confusedly, wondering if Venus had somehow multiplied. Well, there could certainly be advantages to that. 6 times the pampering, attention and adolation? Who wouldn't want an experience like that? But then he began to realize that if Venus had been cloned 5 times, the other clones didn't really act much like him. Shrugging, Juka decided that he really didn't care anyway and ran up to Venus, surprisingly graceful in his stilletto heels, attempting to jump into his big red arms. "My wonderful Prince Venus. You've returned to me at last!" He looked adoringly up at him.
~~"Abyss! Good to see you old buddy." "Well, most of you anyways."
Abyss grinned as he stood up, He plucked the drink from Geo’s hand not to reprimand the youth, he could have it back in a second but for now he didn’t want him to spill it, with his other hand he took the hand that he was being offered to shake and whipped the young man into a hug lifting him off of the ground and hugging as tightly, while not killing him, as he could. He settled Geo on the ground with the grin still on his face. Geo was old blood, and he was missing old blood lately It had been him and Isabel lately and the fellas…and not even all of them at that, he wasn’t angry with Pluto, annoyed yes, angry no. He never wanted to oppress his brothers, It was like watching him fall in love with the wrong girl, but it would be his choice to make ultimately.
~~"This is Catherine. Catherine, this is Abyss."
Abyss smiled at Cathrine with a glance to Geo, He kept any knowing glances securely off of his face. He would have offered to shake her hand, but he wasn’t sure if the girl would think she would receive a bear hug as well, if she wanted to shake hands she could take the first step.
“Nice to meet you Catherine. Are you who has been keeping Geo away from us? Or the one that brough him back to us by chance?” a glance back at geo and a quiet whisper to Geo. “heads up.”
Mercury felt the same way that Abyss did and hadn’t the tact to let Geo know it was coming, He lifted the youth into the air, shaking him and hugging him for a moment before settling him back on the ground to reclaim his dignity.
“Rocky is back! We missed you! You don’t get to go away again, that was the last time, tooo bad!” Mercury exclaimed.
Venus leaned up against a column looking absentminded and yet there was something appealing in the dreamy way he carried him self. He was dressed to nines, head to toe, not a hair out of place. The stance and distant look in his eyes was a complete façade, mere bait. Playing innocent or bashful. He didn’t have a hope of truly pulling off either but, they looked good on him anyway. He was taking a moment to relax and see if someone would come to him, and then like a godsend something Petite, asain and vivacious was in his arms, looking up at him and tonight just got interesting. “Returned and regretting every moment I was away, Hime.” (Japanese for princess) “You left without a trace in the morning, I can’t say I am surprised, but a number to call you at would have been nice.” He complained only slightly, He might not have at all without Juka in his arms. “Tell me Miami, how can we hope that tonight is better, when we have already experienced perfection?”
Those were the exact words Geo used to answer her question of: Where they were going. Creia eyed boulder boy but he reassured her, they were going for business only. He told her that she would be meeting a mutant named Abyss. He was a member of the Order and a brotherly figure to Geo. She didn’t care who or what she was meeting. All she wanted to do was to obtain an understanding of what this Sanctuary was and, of course, find a way to use them or kill them.
Creia had done a bit of dancing in the past. It is just something people did when they had too much energy and needed to spaz. Though the flashy lights, musky air, loud music, and the rhythmic movement of bodies made it seem more like a tribal ceremony rather than pastime. Still, she found that she quite enjoyed this savage ritual. Maybe one of the many mortal pleasures her body refused to give up.
Creia allowed Geo to drive her to the club, which was called Club Evolution. The place, she later found out, was a hot spot for mutants. That meant that she had to keep both her anger and her powers under lock and key… no matter how much she detested. Finally the bouncer let the two in as they headed straight for the bar. Geo managed to illegal buy some drinks. He handed one to her.
“But… I don’t…-ink” She tried to say while fighting with the music. Deaf, he forced the glass into her hands. She looked at the liquid concoction. Oh well, it seemed pointless to act like the innocent virgin when no one can hear. She allowed Geo to walk a bit ahead of her before enjoying the liquid burn pouring down her throat. She ‘ahhh’d’ after she quickly finished the 15$ cocktail, setting the glass on the bar countertop.
That, my friends, is how villains drink.
Geo finally lead her to the man of the hour: This Abyss. Err... Abysses. She could see a few similar figures roaming around the establishment. She was thoroughly confused. Creia’s eyes landed on the main form Geo was talking too. She remained soundless as Geo introduced her.
‘He… he looks…’ She shook her head, ‘No, it… it can’t…. no just no.’
There was an awkward silence after the introduction. It took Creia a moment to even notice the eyes upon her. She cleared her throat quickly and mustered up a soft reply.
Geo let out a laugh, well as much of a laugh as he could with the air squeezed out of him, as Abyss brought him into a massive bear hug. He expected just as much from the large red mutant. He half wrapped his right arm around the bulk's neck in a returning hug before he was placed down.
>>“Heads up.”
"Huh?"The earth elemental had barely gotten a breath in before he was scooped up again, this time by Mercury.
>>“Rocky is back! We missed you! You don’t get to go away again, that was the last time, too bad!”
Despite being bombarded by the Big Red Squad Geo had a massive smile on his face. To him these people were family, they had been around the best and worst times of their lives. Hell they had been there when Geo committed his first huge felony, their Lady Liberty was much better in his opinion. When he returned to the ground and got his breath back he laughed and clapped his hand on Mercury's massive arm. "I'm back now buddy, no worries." He shrugged his shoulders the readjust his clothes, a wide smile never leaving his face.
"Damn I missed you guys!" He exclaimed looking between Abyss and Mercury, they still towered over him like always. Seeing the two brought a grim thought to his mind, though he didn't let his face show it: Syn. The loss of the beautiful leader still stung at the back of the young mutant's mind. He regretted hitting on her so relentlessly every chance he got.
Abyss addressed Catherine and Geo let out a chuckle. "She contributed a bit, but you'll be surprised how bad business piles up when you go on a cross country road trip." The young elemental nudged his elbow against the bulk that was Mercury playfully as Abyss spoke to Catherine.
Looking over at Catherine she seemed a little awestruck as she looked upon Abyss and the clones, though they did have that affect on people. Grabbing his flashing drink Geo took in a deep swig of the substance that seemed to spark like a static charge going down his throat. Yep, it was good to be back.
For a long minute there was no one else for Juka but his beautiful Prince Venus. His tender words melted Juka's heart and for the first time he thought that maybe he should have left his number after all instead of just disappearing in the early hours of the morning. Venus was just so different than all of the other girls and guys that Juka had been with; they were but pale imitations of his glowing angelic Venus. He snuggled close to the great red chest and wrapped his arms around his neck, not caring whether or not anyone else was staring and in fact completely oblivious to the rest of the world. "Then we must certainly take it as a challenge to surpass perfection, now mustn't we, my precious prince?" He winked provocatively.
Unfortunately and as much as Juka would have preferred otherwise, the rest of the world began to intrude upon his perceptions and he became aware, once again, that there were other people around aside from him and his prince. Well, there would be time enough to be alone with his Venus later, for now he would mingle. "So my royal darling, are you going to introduce me to these handsome brothers of yours?" Since they were identical to Venus it seemed logical that they must be his brothers, or at least in some way related.
Not only were there many large red mutants, Juka noticed, but also a familiar and an unfamiliar face among the gathering as well. The drug addled groupie for one. "Are you feeling better my dear?" he asked in all sympathy. What a sad sad story. "Have you managed to kick the habit and get yourself clean?"
"And who would your friend be?" Juka hoped he wasn't involved in drugs like the girl. The last thing he needed to deal with was too drug addicts in one night. He had come her to mingle and dance and get his mind off of his problems, not deal with the issues of others. Especially not issues like that. Although the stranger didn't appear to be mentally unstable, that didn't necessarily mean that he wasn't.
>>"She contributed a bit, but you'll be surprised how bad business piles up when you go on a cross country road trip."
~~“Hello…”
“Well regardless of the part any friend of Geo’s is a friend of mine.” He smirked at the way she hit the drink hard as Geo hadn’t even gotten a chance to really drink his own color change drink.
“Oh, I know how business piles up and it doesn’t take a road trip to do it.” Abyss replied. “ So I take it you are ready to get back into things?” he asked Geo lightly, he might have insisted before, but not anymore, no pressure.
<<"So my royal darling, are you going to introduce me to these handsome brothers of yours?"
<<“Are you feeling better my dear?" "Have you managed to kick the habit and get yourself clean?"
Saturn perked up at the lack of getting clean and the potential to let an out let find itself tonight, but if she was trying to get clean then would it be fair to drag the girl down too? He took a puff of a cigarette and let out a beathe the smoke rolled into a little ball and sprung off toward a vent, much like the drinks, someone was monitoring the air quality as well.
Venus’s ears perked as e heard Juka’s musical voice hit a certain cord he had yet not heard. And observed the one that the tone graced .
<<"And who would your friend be?"
“Mmmm, He waved a hand in the air toward his brethren. My brothers,” “brothers, my Juka.” His tail tapped Geo,” This one is a brother from another mother.”
“So, you were saying dear that we could take it as a challenge to surpass perfection? What did you have in mind” Venus asked greedily trying to keep Juka’s attention all for himself.
