"Sorry, hold on one sec. We can head downstairs to the kitchen to eat."
*Tricity stood up to take the cell phone from her back pocket and lead him down the stairs toward the kitchen.*
"Hello?"

"Hey, Ms. Tipper. You wanted us to check in, just thought I'd let you know we got to Ohio all right."

There was a shower running somewhere in the background.

Efren wandered around the kitchen in awe. It was so big...and clean. There was more stainless steel and chrome than he'd ever seen in his life.

Deathstar leaves the Danger Room and is now currently walking in the hallway."I'm finally glad the intruder has been caught, but its kind of weird knowing your not safe in your own home" she looks at Fade and Nexus as she talks, "That just proves my point that despite where you live, you will never be 100% safe".

Thoughts seem to run through her head as she uses a rubber band to pull her hair into a ponytail. She was beginning to like this girl Jenny, and she wasn't so much of a goody good as Deathstar thought , but After all the two are actually more alike than they are apart.

"I wonder how this intruder look?, I'm dying to see the face that put all of us in danger!" she tells the gang softly while getting a naughty idea in her head.

Fade smirked. "No where has ever been safe, if there was a place that was safe, who would go there? It would suck all the fun out of life."

"It was all confusing. I couldn't really get a good look at him, but he was caught. Not as if anyone else did anything to help, it was mainly Zeke that got him and we just took care of the intruder after the tussel. I just wish that I could have helped, you know? My first task as an X-Man and it's taken away by an X-Man-in-training. Kinda makes me feel like I wasn't even needed." She paused, realizing what she had just said. "Well, don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against Zeke, I just wish he would have let his fellow mutants help him instead of bursting out right before we were gonna attack and taking care of the situation."

Another pause. "I'm sorry, I have been ranting." She turned to Nexus, realizing that she had not answered his question and she answered it by saying "Invisibility. I can turn myself completely invisible and I can turn whatever I touch invisible too, just as long as it's not too many things to turn invisible, you know? Can't turn a car invisible...yet."

Fade's reply about the safety of the house made Deathstar opinion about her completely false, she's not the goody-goody type at all. Fade seems like she love the face of danger " If you have a family, you wouldn't want to have a safe home" she turns to look at fade as they continue to walk down the hall.

As Fade went on talking about Zeke, her rage and anger soon began to take over her face. "Like I said in the danger room, he is selfish!" the remark seems to put Deathstar on the edge. "All he care about is Evie!!, his precious Evie" she shook her head mentioning Zeke's name and the encounter she with the cowardly Wyn. "He left Wire alone , ran pass Tricity and all of us!" her teeth and fist clenched as she went on ranting about the situation. "Correct me if I'm wrong but there were other scared children in the room besides Evie!" she rolls her eyes " I guess some people are full of themselves"

"I can absorb abilities and put my opponent in the emergency room, and I can absorb some elemental compounds for example if I touch a stone my body becomes hard as stone" she says to nexus as she look toward him.

Raphael rounded the corner, finding the pair of women and Nexus walking towards him. He raised a hand in a wave of greeting as he approached. "Pleasant enough day now that the emergency is over, eh?" He asked, then continued on without waiting for an introduction. "I'm Raphael, and you're?"

He held one hand out to the fellow he did not know, while wrapping the other around Fade. "What is going on?"

"Oh, believe me, family is the one thing I don't have, well, family by blood." But then her past swelled her mind and she shook it away, facing life now a days, not living in the past. "Zeke? I don't have anything against him, persay, but I did want to help and was upset of how he just jumped out of no where and took hold of the situation. I haven't really meet Evie and I wasn't there to see what he did concerning her, but it sounds like it wasn't fully planned out."

"That is quite an interesting power, so you can absorb my power? That sounds like a useful gift, that's like having all powers combined in one." But she stopped talking, she saw Raph. She smiled as he placed his arm around her.

"Nothing important, just showing around the new kid. Chatting with Deathstar here. Where have you been?"

She listened to Fade and her story without a family. Deathstar begin to regret the way she acted when she first met her and Raph. She judged fade without giving her a chance and becoming a snobbish person she swore she would never be. "Well um!, I apolog-," by having too much pride she couldn't do it, she could not apoplogize. "You know what I'm trying to say" she scracthes her head hoping fade would get what she was trying to say


A small grin took over Deathstar's face when raph approached them. "Hey!, I see you two still going on strong, any wedding bells in the future" she laughs as she mentions marriage, knowing it will create an akward moment, "but I am glad the intruder has been caught and very happy to be out of that crowded danger room".

”Double checking, the whole life-aura sight comes in handy when looking for hiding people,” he answered Fade, and then looked over at Deathstar. “We aren’t rushing things, so no, no wedding bells.”

He tightened the arm around Fade for a moment while speaking to Deathstar. “I think everyone is; at least everyone but the intruder. He, she, certainly didn’t last long against Zeke. Not sure what he did either, moved mighty quick at that.”

Raphael gave a shrug and then placed an impromptu kiss on Fade’s forehead. “You two ready for a road trip?” He asked, referring to the trip into the city to meet with Benny, and bloody his knuckles.

"Ready when you are!," Deathstar says as she punches her fist against her palm. She stops what she's doing and looks at Fade and then looks toward Raph "Is she coming along too" hoping fade knew that Deathstar was going on the trip with Raph.

Raphael nodded in response to Deathstar’s question. “Yeah, she’s coming along too.” He chose not to add that he was not entirely comfortable with her attending the fight as well. He led the two women away from their present course and towards the garage. “What do you suppose the drive time’ll be?”

He pulled the door open and let the two women pass before him before following them into the car. He had everything he needed for this trip, his current clothes and his fists. Not much more would be needed than that, and if there were… well, Benny would be sure to have it for him. He typically did. Raphael let out a soft sigh, Unless he plans to set you up against armed opponents as a ‘final’ fight. That could get messy fast. he thought.

He walked over to Deathstar’s car and leaned up against it. “Just waiting on Darius.” He really did not like bringing more than just Deathstar to this ‘main event’ of his ‘career’, but, he figured that since Fade had subtly won her way onto this trip, bringing Darius along would serve as a safety net, just as he had discussed with his friend earlier. “Know where ‘The Other End’ is?” He directed the question at Deathstar, though he was looking at Fade. He then followed the question with the statement, “At the corner of West Broadway Laguardia Place and Bleecker Street.”

*Nodding to fades comment he smiled* Being an energist is so cool, though at times, it does reveal downsides. *Getting lost in a memory he missed Raph turning the corner but snapped back to reality to hear the introduction and shook his hand*

*Hearing raph refer to aura sight made ihim nervous, and he stayed silent waving the two off as they talked about a trip to the city*

*Looking around he noticed the doors were all closed over and decided to peek in* guys to the left *he reminded himself and walked into an as yet unused room and smiled wide enjoying what he saw*

"Yeah, I got it, thought that counts, huh?" She smiled. "And I feel the same about my actions toward you." When Deathstar mentioned a wedding, Fade let a small chuckle escape her lips. "No, we're far from that, right now. Like he said, we're not gonna rush anything. How we are right now is just fine with me...and I take it him as well." She said the last part with a smirk but it turned into a large smile when he kissed her forehead.

"Yeah, I'm ready." But then it dawned on her, Deathstar was going. It didn't seem like a bad idea now that she had met Deathstar and got to know her better. It made Fade appreciate the conversation because if she hadn't of talked to Deathstar over the past few minutes, she would have been furious and outraged by her company. "You're going too?" She asked, seeming excited. "Good!"

"Well I guess it about time we leave out"she notioned everyone to start moving toward her car outside of the mansion. The thought of her and fade going on a trip with Raph seems cool but reality sets in her mind. They are going to place that made Deathstar the woman she is today and she is bound to do something dangerous that might jeopardize her stay at the mansion. she walks outside the manison toward her car...
