The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Kalt enterd the second floor Corridor and began to wonder which of the rooms belonged to boys and which to girls. 'I wonder if it matters. Oh well, if I pick a wrong room its not like I have a lot of stuff.' Kalt walked down the hall until she found a room that did not have a name on the front of it and didn't have sounds of sleeping people coming from it. Kalt entered her new room next to one labeled Deltoid and flicked on the light. She nudged the door not quite shut so a slender strip of light escaped into the hallway.

Ryudo made it up the stairs to the second floor with no problems. Not that he expected any since most people slept at 1 am but you never knew. He set off down the corridor searching for a room when he noticed a sliver of light pouring from the cracked door of one of the rooms. Since it didn't have a tag on it he decided to check it out. As he poked his head inside he noticed the girl he had been introduced to by Tricity earlier by the gates. She looked as if she had passed out on the bed and he supposed she had taken one of the pills she mentioned. As he went to leave the room he noticed a name tag on the floor. Rave picked it up and pinned it to the door, then shut off the lights and fully closed the door. "That one's going to be trouble. I can already tell," he thought for himself as he searched for another empty room. He passed on labled "Deltoid" and wondered as to what mutation the person inside had. He shrugged it off, assuming he would find out soon enough and went down a little farther before finding an unoccupied corner room. He opened the door and flicked on the lights. It was a little bare at the moment but he could rememdy that. He would see if he could borrow one of the trucks he saw in the garage and head into town tomorow to pick up some of the stuff he had left in his apartment.
He tossed the duffels into the closet and set the back pack and new resident papers on the desk and took one more look around. He remembered that he needed to make a tag for the door and pulled out some paper and a pen from the back pack and made a simple tag. "It'll have to work for now." he thought as he critically examined the rough hadnwriting on it. He tacked it to the door as he walked back out and headed for the kitchen.
Billy climbed the final step and glanced down the hallway of bedroom doors, the ones that he would join. He calmly began walking through the middle hallway, noting which ones were taken. One caught his eye, the name on the door was "Axel Pike", and it was carved in but not like normal carvings. It was textured like when someone draws in the sand. Stranger things than this await me, thought Billy. He moved on to the left hallway which was for teenage guys like himself and found an empty room that seemed about as good for him as any other room would be, so he went in and closed the door behind him.
Billy opened the door of his new bedroom, exited quietly, then closed it behind him. Ok.. where the heck is the bathroom around here? And following that thought his search for a bathroom began. With a carefully controlled bladder, he walked up and down the hallways. About 10 minutes later he was getting desperate. He was back outside his room and almost out of options. Then he noticed, just two doors down from his room, a door with a male symbol above it. He must have passed it a hundred times and not noticed it, but now nothing would stop him. With shaking hands he turned the knob and opened it, washed over with relief when he saw familiar bathroom floor tiling, and... A URINAL!!! He gingerly walked over to it and unzipped himself and.. sighed with so much relief. His mind was completely at peace for a moment. He whistled cheerfully to himself as he washed and dried his hands, and made a note of where the guys bathroom is as he left and made his way downstairs to find the kitchen.
