History of your character Nigel was one of the CIA's top agents who got a little greedy. He made some shady deals and a lot of money, and got away with it for a time. However, all good things must come to an end and eventually Nigel's less than legal activities were brought to light. Nigel was backed into a corner with no way out, then in came Hunter, the Kabal’s former leader.
Hunter offered Nigel a way out. Come and work with his as his right hand man, get a six figure salary, and the charges against him dropped. There was really no choice, and Nigel accepted the offer. Thus Nigel became the latest in a long line of human servants, starting with a man called Balthazar, that had become Hunter's most trusted men. Like those before him Nigel was subjugated to Hunter's mesmerizing stare, imbuing him with unwavering loyalty to the immortal.
Nigel knew all of Hunter's secrets, but was set to never reveal them unless another psychic could remove the mental defenses that Hunter had put in place over the years. He never regretted working for Hunter: in fact, he couldn't regret it. Slate has since adjusted Hunter's commands for his own uses, with one difference—Nigel is now completely aware of them, and has still chosen to work under the Kabal's new Leader of his own free will.

History Of Your Character Noin’s parents immigrated to the United States shortly after their marriage, leaving behind the oppression of the USSR’s long fingers for the broad American skies. Noin was the first of their three daughters, all of whom were drilled with the merits of responsibility, hard work, and pride from a young age. She completed high school and received technical training for secretarial and accounting duties at a two-year college, before joining the workforce. She eventually ended up at Mondragon Labs. Despite some leadership fluctuations—including a few weeks under the reign of Kaz, during which he ordered her finger cut off, along with many others who had done nothing wrong—she is content with her job.

History of your character James was an exceptionally gifted child, and excelled in his studies. He went to Harvard, where he continued to excel, but earned a reputation as a devious, uncaring person. Upon graduation with a PhD in human and mutant physiology he wondered aimlessly form unfulfilling job to unfulfilling job looking for something to excite him. All the while his bad reputation grew until he was diagnosed with Antisocial Personality Disorder, or more commonly known as being a sociopath.
He was recruited by Hunter, the former Kabal leader, and barely batted an eye at Slate’s takeover. Employers do no matter to him. Only his research.

Character Personality: Cringing. Will go anywhere with anyone and do whatever they say, just as long as they please please please don't test out the 'sampler'. At the same time, he is oddly confident in any situation, even in the midst of a raging gun fight--no one is going to kill him. He's absolutely certain of this, because he is absolutely certain of his own monetary value. Currently feels slight loyalty towards Slate and the Kabal, but is waiting for their kindness to come crashing down around his ears. Waiting... waiting... it'll happen. It always does. Hobbies/ Interests: Poker. Job or part time job and description: Formerly provided 'translation services' and 'accounting' for various drug cartels in South America. Is currently employed by the Kabal in the same capacities; it's his first paying job, which is a novelty that makes him a both happy and skittish, and as close to being loyal as he's ever come. Special talents: Knows how to tie some really cool knots. No, seriously. They're cool.
Mutations Mutation description: Gem creation. When the fluids of his body come into contact with the air, they crystallize into precious stones. He spits topaz, he bleeds rubies, he cries diamonds, he snots emeralds, he pees jacinth, he sweats quartz; his stomach bile creates jasper. Making him puke produces what is affectionately known in some circles as 'the sampler'; depending on what he ate, the results vary. Wash them off, though, and they don't even smell bad anymore. He can also make onyx and sapphire, but we don't mention those in polite company.
Strengths: An endless source of pretty money. The gems are real, and do not disappear or revert to their original form with time. Weaknesses: He doesn't replace these fluids, particularly blood, at any quicker rate than the usual human. This ability has put him in high demand among circles that wish to keep up a steady stream of funding. He cannot stop this process. Occasionally, if he talks too much, he starts choking on topaz. Also, he has an interesting love life.
Secondary mutation description: Omnilingual edibles. When any of his gems are ingested, they provide the eater with the ability to understand and speak any human language until the stone, ah, passes.
Strengths: Omnilingual! Weaknesses: Depending on the size of the gem, this is not an entirely pleasant action to take. Gems come out the other end thoroughly digested of any magical properties: they cannot be used twice. If a gem is brought inside of an Adapted's field, it will come out likewise 'digested'.

History Of Your Character Dragon Speak was born to a poor family in Colombia, lackeys of the drug trade. When he hit puberty, his powers manifested. He became instantly popular with the high ups, and not in a good way. Since he was thirteen, Dragon Speak has been shuffled between cartels all around South America. His useful qualities have led to many an inter-faction war.
Dragon Speak was rescued by the Kabal members Aiden and Giant's Bane from a poker tournament at which he was the prize, in "A Pair of Aces". He currently serves to bolster the Mondragon Labs cash reserves and provide all of Slate's employees with omnilingual capabilities on demand. Lives at Mondragon Labs. Might get up the nerve to go outside, one of these days, but isn’t in any hurry.

History Of Your Character Nicholas is the second son of a butcher’s daughter. He was born in New Orleans, and liked to help out around his grandpa’s shop. Pigs, sheep, fish, cows—he liked the job. The way the knife went in, through hair and flesh, past muscle; the way the freshness of the meat, and the species, and the age, could all be heard through that cut, if a boy just listened.
After wandering off from high school, he joined up with the US Army for a bit, then some other armies for other bits. Eventually, he found himself at Mondragon Labs—and here he is.

Last Thanksgiving, his grandma called him up to ask if he was working for the mafia.
