The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

The lights streaked by one after another as the turns were left then right, he had no idea where he was going and had no clue what happened to the night. As the girls continued to kiss him or nibble on his ear Sam pulled out his phone and checked to see if Ghost had realized he had gone. Sighing slightly as he realized that she hadn’t tried to contact him in any way he frowned slightly at his recent calls list. Alexandra was at the top of the list and a sudden feeling of guilt punched him in the gut and kept its large fist there as the cab slowed to a read light.
Not realizing what he was doing other than looking at his thumb move it’s self on the keyboard pulling up a new message screen his thumbs twitched as they wrote out, ”He you Al! Whas u doin tonight. I thinking u shold meet me?” blinking as his finger shot up to the send button Sam blinked as a message was being sent out to Alex. ”Huh?” he blinked and time fast forwarded again and now he was looking at their cabby from outside the cab.
Looking over and realizing he was on 7th and Main, the cabby was now yelling at him about something he didn’t understand him because he was talking to fast but when he drove off in a hurry Sam shrugged as the two girls clung to his arms laughing and giggling about the predicament they were in. ”Guess we have to walk…” sighed Sam as he rubbed his head before he fell over onto his back side looking up at the spinning world before he felt the girls warm hands helping him up.
The thug took another swing at Alexandra, while her body graciously moving around in order to dodge it. She exhaled; blue eyes focused on the man’s actions, as she quickly moved behind him and kicked him in the back. The man was propelled forward a few feet, but he maintained his balance and soon he was facing the molecule manipulator again.
She was on guard before he had turned his body around to face her, every and each one of her senses focused on guessing what the man’s new action would be.
Beep, beep, beep.
The concentration broke, as the telephone attached to her belt started to ring, announcing its owner that she had just received a new text message. It was all it took, a moment of distraction and the thug was attacking again. She had seen the punch coming, and if the damn phone hadn’t bothered her she wouldn’t have had any problem dodging. Instead, the thug’s fist touched her face, and her lip, provoking a stinging sensation.
Her legs were quickly to react, putting a safe distance between her and her attacker, and gave her plenty of time to return to her on guard position. The taste of blood filled her mouth as she licked her injured lip while her focused and calm look turned into a much angrier and offensive one. This time, she didn’t wait for the man to make the first move. With a low growl Alexandra charged at him… Moments later, the man was falling down, just as Alexandra was taking her hand off his neck.
“Computer, end session.” her voice stated calmly and echoed trough the room, just as the decors of an abandoned warehouse were fading away to make place for the metallic gray of the Danger Room. Alexandra resumed her standing position, as the bodies of her opponents faded into the background. Letting out breath, she pushed a few strands of rebel hair back and then let her hand slid to the belt and grab the offensive cell phone, her expression turning into a frown. It better be good.
The cell phone was flipped open and the ‘You’ve got messages.’ screen wasn’t late to appear. Alexandra tilted her head slightly to the side, and a push of a button later, her expression became brighter. Yeah, Sam’s name usually did this to her.
”He you Al! Whas u doin tonight. I thinking u shold meet me?”
The beginning of a smile started to form on her lips, as her body started to move toward the danger room’s doors, phone still in hand, finger’s moving quickly to type a reply.
Sure. Where r u now?
By the time she was walking past the Danger Room’s doors, the message had been sent to Sam.

Swaying back and forth under the weight of the two girls on both his sides Sam was lead down another side street before he saw the intersection they turned down. 8th and main, they walked a mile, a mile that seemed to fly by or did he blackout again? He didn’t know or didn’t care what he did care about was his cell phone, which started to ring in his pocket as he shrugged of one of the girls to pick it up. He smiled and said, “It’s Al!” picking up the phone and reading the text he looked confused and scanned them over in a squinting manner. “Who is Al?” one of the girls muttered near his ear loud enough for the other girl to hear, “Forget about Al, you’re with us tonight and you’re about to get your world rocked!”
Sam blinked at the girl he let go to answer his phone as the two girls let out a loud laugh as they clung tighter to Sam and continued to drag him to their place. Ignoring the laughs and comments other than his world about to be rocked Sam clicked send on the text message and called Alex in hopes to talk to her. His fingers clicked on the phone without his knowledge as if they were being controlled not focusing on the walking and the girls dragging him along he responded to her, we are on 8th and main and walking up main heading to someone’s apartment look foreword to seeing you cause I gosts stuff to tell you
Sending the text message and placing it into his pocket his attention turned back to the walk and the girls who were still caressing his arms and running their hands through his hair while walking. Confused to see where he was going he looked over to one of the girls and he asked, “Where are we going?” a small girlish giggle sounded from the woman he was talking before she said, “Can’t wait can you? Just another two blocks, believe me it’s worth the wait!” she the proceeded to pull Sam’s head into her own so she could uninvitedly shove her tongue down his throat, “mmmm?” asked Sam as the woman pulled away and then started to quicken the pace as everything started to get darker and hazy again.
Alexandra was just setting her foot on the first step that led to the first floor and to her room when the phone rang again, with impatient beeps. Her hand went back to the belt to reach for the phone and followed the same routine as in the Danger Room, until the message was laid in front of her eyes.
we are on 8th and main and walking up main heading to someone’s apartment look foreword to seeing you cause I gosts stuff to tell you
Her first reaction was to wonder who was the ‘we’ Sam was talking about while the second brought concern in her blue eyes. Sam had stuff to tell her? She was both confused and worried, but she resisted the urge to call him back. Instead, she fastened her pace until she reached her bedroom. She didn’t bother to go to shower or change like she had planned. Sam’s message suddenly turned her impatient. Unruly hair, a swollen lip and the exposed cut on her leg turned less important. Grabbing her black leather jacket, she hurried into the garage.
Moments later, she was speeding away from the mansion on her black motorcycle, while Sam’s message was being replayed in her head. What the hell was happening? To whose apartment they were heading? Her eyes were focused on the sidewalks as she entered the street Sam had given her direction to, searching for his familiar figure among various other people.
When she did found him… she wished she hadn’t. Alexandra stopped the motorcycle abruptly as disappointment reigned over her face under the black helmet. Placing her foot down, she sighed and removed it, eyes focused on Sam. She didn’t even bother to look at the two bimbos that were practically jumping on him.
Her breathing intensified as anger slowly started to appear in her eyes. That was the reason Sam called her? To see him like that? Perhaps in the past she would have turned away and left. But now, she decided to stay and face him. Getting of her bike, she leaned against it for supports, with hands folded under her breasts, waiting for the moment when Sam would notice her presence.

How long was it since he was out? How far have they walked? When was the last time he had talked to Alex? As he had come around for the third or second (he couldn’t remember) time he looked for a street and then to his phone. His right eye twitched lazily as he continued to walk his vision starting to get a little better but not nearly as good as his vision hen he was sober. The girls to his annoyance weren’t Alex and still clung to him insisting that he would be in for a hell of a night. Nodding his head once and then again as the girls made noise from their mouth as the surroundings started to swirl in to a whirl of color as he lost his balance and let go of the girls only to catch himself on the girls he was clearly far more intoxicated than both of them now and it was obvious.
Breathing heavily to hold down the upcoming beverages that he had consumed earlier Sam closed his eyes and. He breathed in again trying to cancel out the noise around him, the girls a car and a barking dog. But as he opened his eyes again he saw a flash of light, which caused him to wince from it the way a creature of the night cowers from the oncoming sunrise. He was a creature of the night and the girls standing on either side of him were of the same make for they winced and raised their hands. “To bright!” cried Sam as the girls let out a string of curse words as the light died and the roar of the engine cut out.
Dazed from the light his feet continued to move much to his annoyance he had to stop maybe get some water or lay down and catch his breath he was tired as his eye lazily twitched again. “Can we stop for a second I need to breath…” said Sam as his pace slowed only to be ushered up as the girls quickened their pace. “We’re almost there Sam, a few more feet.”“That's right once where there we have some drinks for you and a nice big bed!” said the girls, which only enticed Sam all the more, the thought of something more to drink and a big bed to pass out on, these girls were so nice!
As they took a few more steps Sam got the eerie feeling that he was being watched, looking up and around Sam spotted the motorcyclist who was female and had a familiar bike. “ALEX!” Sam cried out as he got a sudden burst of energy his body stopping and no longer budging to the two women who were not trying to pull him. “You came!” yelled Sam in a drunken tone his face lighting up like a Christmas tree.
The look however quickly died down as he looked at her face long and hard, she was mad and he could tell even if he was drunk as he was. Shaking his hands slightly trying to free his grip from the pair of sirens that were singing their song Sam tried to change direction to get closer to Alex, “Why do you look mad?” Sam asked in a docile tone.
No muscles of her body moved as Alexandra watched the scene unfolding in front of her eyes. Her anger only grew as she watched Sam being ushered forward while promises of drinks and a bed were being made. Alexandra moved her head only slightly to adjust herself with Sam’s walking figure while her face expression turned into a frown.
When Sam finally noticed her, and cried out her name, she stood silent. Only her eyebrow arched slightly, greeting Sam with a stern face. Only her eyes wore a darker hint of blue in them, signaling her disappointment.
He was drunk, yes. She could see it, but inside her mind that wasn’t an excuse good enough to have her agree with the two females clinging to him. Sam asked her why was she mad, and, in response her eyebrow arched more. One of the girls which held him company dared to approach more, moving her body slightly in front of Sam’s in what it looked a protective stance. “And who are you supposed to be?”
Alexandra’s eyes traveled lazily from Sam’s face to the possessor of the offensive voice, her expression certainly leaving out any hope of kindness. “I suggest you back away before I manipulate your empty head away.” she said, trough gritted teeth, while her eyes moved to the other girl, just to let her know that she had the same feeling for both of them.
Out of instinct the girl turned her eyes away from the angered female while the other backed away slowly. Perhaps they have not learned yet that it’s not safe to deal with jealous female mutants? Then Alexandra certainly hoped they got it. Maybe she couldn’t manipulate their heads away but she had other ways of dealing with them. And none of them ended up pretty.
With the two girls now keeping their mouths shut, at least for the moment, Alexandra let her eyes to travel back to Sam and his innocent ‘I don’t know what I did wrong’ figure. “We have some drinks for you and a nice big bed?” she repeated, as she dropped the threatening voice to change with a clearly disappointed one. “And you ask me why I’m mad? You had me worried and hurrying to come to you to see this?” Alexandra raised her hand to gesture to the trio, eyes moving over the two girls before locking on Sam’s own.

Blinking at the very angry expression on Alex’s face as she intimidated the drunken girls who tried to defend their kill. Watching as they backed up and questioned Alex’s reason for being here Sam cleared his throat, ”Don’t do anything to their heads!” said Sam as he stepped foreword as Alex spoke. ”They were only giving me a somewhere to sleep and some stuff to drink…” said Sam as he felt a hand on his and a small tug backwards as one of the girls coldly said, ”Come on Sam forget her we’ll take care of you, we have a big nice warm bed!” Another hand grabbed onto his arm “She isn’t your type anyways, we are way prettier than her!”
Looking from one girl to another Sam looked back to Alex and shook his head as he tried to make the streets stop spinning, two girls pulling him one way while the one he wanted to be looking at him angrily. Sam bit his lip as he looked from one girl to the next as if he was weighing the options but in reality he was looking for the best way to let the pair of harpies who were digging into his flesh with their long nails know that he didn’t want to go with them any more. ”Don’t be mad Alex!” Sam said as he shook his arm and hand free from the girls as he took another step towards Alex, his expression changing to a sad one.
Drunkenly stumbling towards Alex, Sam looked back to the two girls and said, ”It was nice meeting you! But I don’t think I’ll be going with you guys tonight…Sorry!” Sam then turned his head towards Alex as he almost fell over and caught himself before falling, ”Your not mad are you? Don’t be mad!” Sam asked his hand reaching up to rub his eye but didn’t calculate the distance between his hand and his head right and managed to hit himself in the forehead.
”Ow…. You know I called you here cause I wanted to spend time with you? We don’t hang out anymore…. And they were trying to get in my pants….” Turning his body towards the girls who were walking away pissed that their catch got away, Sam said, ”They are nothing compared,” he turned to Alex as his eyes trailed up and down he current outfit, ”to you…you look really pretty tonight…” said Sam as he walked crookedly towards Alex only to stop a few feet away from her just out of striking distance hoping she wouldn’t close the distance to attack him.
Alexandra half closed her eyes as Sam once again spoke, saying that they were only giving him drinks and a place to sleep. A hand rose slightly to rub her temple as an headache not only appeared but increased in intensity with every moment. As her eyes reopened, blue eyes watching with half understanding, half anger the drunken Sam. Was alcohol made him so naïve that he actually believed what he was saying or was he lying to her? For the answer to that question, she wished for a moment she could trade molecular manipulation for telepathy… that way, people would be honest with her.
A tint of disgust crossed over her blue eyes as the two talked again and their comments only made her to roll her eyes. Insignificant little humans. A sigh escaped her lips as she unfolded her arms, letting them drop down, while her eyes moved back to Sam. The girls might have considered themselves lucky, if Sam weren’t there, their night would have turned from the bright pink to the darkest of blacks.
Alexandra observed half-amused how Sam dismissed to two, their unsatisfied expression as they realized that Sam had chosen her over them, Sam asking her not to be mad, his attempt to rub his eyes ending up with a hit on his forehead, even him stopping out of her reach as if she was about to punch him in the face.
She shook her head, while pushing herself off the motorcycle, walking with small steps toward the man that was now eyeing her. “Sam…” Her voice was calm and low, but still enough for him to hear it. “I hate when people are trying to take me for a fool.” She was now standing next to him, her eyes locked with his, the usual bright blue getting darker while her face turned serious. “I put my trust in you, and to tell you the truth… you disappointed me.” Alexandra took a step back. The seriousness disappeared, a smile quickly covering it while the sparkle in her eyes returned, as brightly as ever. “Still. I like you… very much and I’m going to believe you this time. So…” She made another step to get closer to Sam as her hand went slightly trough his hair. “I’m going to pretend that I didn’t see those two. And this night started with you telling me that you want to spend time with me, yes?”

His eyes blinked the left then the other slowly as Alex got off her bike and walked towards him, his eight off balance as he swayed from side to side forward to backwards his knees bent in hopes to counter any stumbles or falls if they should arise. Her eyes locked with his as she spoke of not like being made a fool of, which made sense because he didn’t like it either, ”I don’t want to make you a fool!” he said as he half muttered and have slurred the words not sure if she could understand him.
She was close now and if she wanted to hit him she could have easily a slap to the face a kick to the groin… and then his ears picked up on something he didn’t expect to hear ”Really?” Sam asked slightly surprised that she had forgiven him, and still likes him and then proceeded to run her fingers through his hair. Goose bumps all over his body tingled his skin as he grinned stupidly and threw his arms around Alex, ”You're the best girl in forever!”
”This night started with me telling you I wanted to spend time with you…” Sam trailed off as he pulled away from the hug as he agreed to her question, ”What time is it?” Sam asked lazily as his weight caused him to loose his balance, ”If it’s still early enough we could do something, like go to a club…”
Sam had just come from a club and was accompanied by two girls, however this time he might enjoy himself with his present company. If it was two late however Sam was more than willing to head home with Alex he did after all still have something to tell her, something that was important.
The hug that Sam gave to her caused a little bit of surprise, and so did his words, which brought a more genuine smile on her face. She responded to it, perhaps with a little less excitement that his, but in her own mind and given the situation it was the best she could do.
Alexandra watched his sloppy attempts at balance, undecided on what she should do. Play along and go into a club or take Sam back home. Before making a decision, she pulled out the phone attached to her belt and lazily pushed a button, lighting up the display. After giving it a quick glance, she put it back, eyes turning back to Sam. “It’s almost midnight.” she answered, voice even, careful not to let Sam think she had already made a decision when she hadn’t.
Her lips were pursed together, trying to determine the best option in this case while the balance was slowly inclining towards going home. Her training suit was clearly not the best attire for clubbing, not to mention the visible cut on her leg and Sam already had more drinks that necessary. Besides, a club wasn’t the best location for people to get to know each other as she presumed that they were doing in this phase of their relationship.
Before voicing her opinion she decided that the best was to first know what Sam’s opinion was, and lightly tapping her fingers against her legs she directed her attention and thought toward Sam. “What do you think we should do?” she asked, a small confident smile following her words as she continued tapping.

He nodded his head slowly as he learned what time it was, midnight, it was getting late and Alex did look a bit tired. He nodded his head slowly once again as a horn honked nearby he was rocking out to the music of the streets. His head started to bob slowly as a bobble head does once it’s head was pushed down. He could stop but he liked the lightheaded feeling he was getting from it.
He stopped abruptly as he realized she was waiting on him for an answer as her finger tapped her leg, ”How come I never sees you that outfit before?” Sam asked curiously as his eyes trailed to her finger that was tapping near a large cut on her leg…. Sam ran over to her and by ran he stumbled a few feet before tripping inches from her so he could look at her leg, ”Who did this?” Sam asked urgently as he tried to push himself up only to fall over again his gaze however was focused on Alex’s eyes.
”I want to go home so Doc can heal you… did you get that coming to see me?” Sam asked now very worried that he had a hand in her injury. ”You want me to drive?” Sam asked his eyes focused on the cut as thought about standing up, and making another attempt though this time it was a very slow and steady paced rise.
The answer she had expected did not come, instead a comment about her outfit which kept the smile on her face and even widened it for a bit. Finger continued to tap at a constant pace on her leg as Sam’s eyes trailed over her figure, from up to the tapping finger. A finger that suddenly caught his attention as it was resting somewhere very near her newly acquired wound.
His eyes spoke volumes, showing his concern more than a thousand words would have and he rushed to her side to check if she was okay. It didn’t matter that he didn’t get to his destination, the alcohol having its saying in the rushed actions he made and ended him tripping.
Her own body moved, and in seconds she was standing to his side, trying to help him get up. Alexandra noticed that his movements were now slower, more thoughtful than before and breathed relieved when she acknowledged the fact that he was fine. One of them injured was most likely enough.
“Sam, I’m fine.” she replied, hoping that her voice reflected the level of confidence needed to convince Sam. “I was just walking out of the Danger Room when you called. That’s where I got the cut.” Pushing her body up as Sam was doing the same, she decided to keep a closer distance between them, so if he would need support, she wouldn’t need to move in order to provide it.
“It just looks bad. ” she continued as she smiled to assure Sam that everything was fine.”Besides, the doc wouldn’t appreciate if we wake him up in the middle of the night to heal me.” Alexandra paused for a second before lowering her voice. “Again…” she added, as a comment for herself rather than for Sam.
Taking a small step back toward the motorcycle, Alexandra remembered his comment about the driving. Sweet of him to offer to do the driving but there was no way in the world she was going to let him do it. “I agree with one thing: we go home.” Shifting her weight from a leg to the other, she reached for the keys attached on her belt and removed them. After throwing the up then reaching to catch them with the other hand, she made another small step toward the bike then looked back at Sam, her expression serious. “But I’m doing the driving.”

So it turns out he didn’t have to yell at anyone, it was the danger rooms fault she was hurt. Sighing slightly as he stumbled to the bike Sam figured there was no use in worrying about it if she didn’t, yeah it was on his mind but he wasn’t going to verbalize anything if he didn’t think it would have any major effect, ”Just glad your alright….” said Sam as he watched Alex catch the keys, she was driving? Meh probably for the best, Sam didn’t want to admit it but he could barley walk straight a task he hopped he was hiding rather well.
”I like a woman who takes charge!” smiled Sam as tried to get onto the back seat of the bike but misjudged how far back he was causing him to fall backward in the process. Laughing slightly Sam added, ”Clearly I misjudged that…” Sam upright himself rubbing his rear and then slowly mounted the bike hoping that the ride would be a smooth one and one he didn’t have to worry about falling off on.
As he kept trying to place his legs so they held the bike as tightly as possible Sam waited for Alex to hop onto the bike, and then placed his hands on her waist/hips his way of making sure he wasn’t going to fly off on the first turn, ”Hope you don’t mind,” said Sam as he made sure the grip was just barley touching, they were something but he wasn’t sure if Alex would fully appreciate the hand placement, ”I just don’t want to fall off…”
Sam’s face started to heat up a little with blood as his hands went from her hips to his legs wondering why he was suddenly so worried about where his hands were Sam didn’t really know what to do.
Events of the earlier moments of the night started to drift away from her mind, at a slow but steady pace. Alexandra was keeping her promise of assuming that the night had started with Sam sharing the thought of them needing to spend more time together. Perhaps, that is why she let herself laugh, amused by Sam’s sloppy attempts to get onto the bike.
Suppressing the constant urge to laugh at his sight while he was rubbing his rear after the fall, she moved closer to the bike, only her eyes sparkling brightly against the traffic lights of the passing by cars showed her amusement. And the good mood she had forced upon herself that now felt just natural.
Her head tilted to the side, as she glanced at Sam who, luckily, managed to get himself on the motorcycle. This action was followed by her shaking her head slightly at the situation and for a brief moment she wondered how would Sam feel about everything tomorrow, when the alcohol would be gone and the horrible hangover and probably some shadowy memories would be the only reminiscent of this event.
Alexandra got on the bike and placed the keys into ignition, pausing for a moment until Sam would hold on to her. His hands felt warm against the leather of her jacket, as if they were burning trough it and somehow she expected the warmth to grow in intensity. The feeling of butterflies in her stomach was quick to appear and caused her to clear her throat, as blood rushed to her head in a successful attempt to turn her cheeks red once again.
And apparently, she wasn’t the one having problems with the proximity between the two of them. Sam’s hands slipped from their place on her body and Alexandra fought to push all the embarrassment away. Her head turned around while blue eyes scanned Sam’s face. “Sam, I don’t mind it. Hold on tight to me, I want to get at the Mansion with you as safe and healthy as possible.” she said, an assuring smile making its way on her lips. Turning her head back, she waited for Sam to hold on to her then let out a breath. “I don’t have a second helmet right now but stay close and you’ll be fine.” she added before placing the helmet on her head. Letting out another breath, Alexandra brought the motorcycle engine back to life.

She was cool about it all the fall, the way he had been acting and more importantly the way she had met him tonight, or was it that she just forgot it so easily? It didn’t matter to Sam all he knew was he was getting a ride home and she told him to hold on tight, which was exactly what he planned on doing. ”Al-Alright!” responded Sam as he reached his hands around Alex’s hips and leaned forward so his chest rested on her back as he kept his head a few inches from her helmet that was now safely on her head.
The engine roared to life as Sam’s right hand moved it’s self forward and up where it latched it’s self around Alex’s waist and there it remained, inches away from his right hand that was still secure at her hip. As the bike started Sam’s head felt like the engine was inches from his ear as she kicked into gear and pushed the bike forward. His gripping around the bike tightened as his arms tightened slightly as he rested his head against her back. The were moving now and fast, the street lights, lamps and scenery including other people who had plans for a good time tonight and a few bright headlights that flashed by.
How fast were they going? Sam couldn’t tell but it felt like they were going at the speed of light as the lights around them melted into a swirling blur of different colors of the rainbow. ”Whoa…..” said Sam quietly as he removed his head from Alex’s back to watch the flashes of colors go by. It was clear at that point he knew how drunk he was, colors like this don’t happen unless you're the influence of something.
It felt like five minutes but he knew how far he was from the mansion and once they got there Sam gave Alex’s waist a quick squeeze before h let go and stumbled over the bike only to fall once again. letting out another laugh Sam up righted himself and then looked to Alex, ”How’s your leg?”
