The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

It was late at night and most people where asleep. Allison however wasn't really asleep. Her mind was but her body wasn't. Her body had been wanting to train itself to become more efficient and there was only one spot that she knew to do this: The dangerroom. A holographic room that was used to train mutants in this school. It could be turned into a real death room since the safety could be turned of. She was dressed in a confy pants and shoes with a white top to match. Normally she wouldn't wear this but it wasn't like she was all there.
She entered the metalic lifeless room in the basement of the mansion. Nobody was there at this hour of the day. She looked around first and quickly found the console to turn the room on. She walked to the console straight and purposefull. She tilted her head and examined it. There was no instruction to this thing and she surely wasn't supposed to do this. She pushed some dails and found the danger levels and subjects. She turned something on called, Riots in the streets and turned the safety off. Her empty eyes looked up and saw the dangerroom change into streets in the big city. It wasn't looking like one of the safer places of town.
She walked down the street and looked around a bit. From the alleys came thugs armed with bats and knives. They taunted her and took fighting stances. She however didn't react to them. One of them charged her with a bat. The bat hit her over the head and shattered once it hit her. She quickly grabbed the thug by the throat and lifted him of the ground. "Inefficient." She said and tossed him into the crowd. The fight was on now.
Her clock clearly stated in big bright red digits 11:36 PM. A Friday night and when your usual human or mutant was most likely relaxing inside of their homes or dancing the night off in some random club, Alexandra Kettler was dressing her training gear. Despite the fact that she was usually wearing an uniform during training, this time, her choice was pretty simple. A black sports bra, plain black training pants and bright white sneakers. Black fingerless gloves quickly found the way to her hands, hands that moments later combed trough the rich brownish hair for a few seconds before firmly pulling it up to form a high pony tail.
The hair band was quickly wrapped around it, and the hair pulled tighter against her head to make sure that it wouldn’t bother her during the session. Perhaps a training session on Friday Night wasn’t the most entertaining choice Alexandra could have made. Perhaps watching TV in the rec room, while lazily eating some popcorn or other various snacks or dancing in fancy New York clubs sounded more appealing. But with the rumors of the x-men try outs coming up during the month, Alexandra needed to feel prepared. Her mission depended on how she would do on the tryouts and how fast she could infiltrate the x-men.
The thought of infiltration suddenly brought a sour taste in her mouth as images of a few mansion residents started to be played inside her mind. Sam, Shin, Luke, even the Doc… Whether she would be caught or end her mission successfully she would have to go… and for her own good, break any connection she ever had with them. The taste turned bitter, as she sighed. She wished this thought wouldn’t weight so much on her shoulders as it did now.
Closing her eyes she assured herself that everything will turn out good. She always was strong… she got over everything life has thrown at her. A friend or a few friends short was something that Alexandra Kettler could easily deal with, right?
Opening her eyes, she exhaled, unconvinced by her own mental arguments and paced toward the door. She was wasting precious time with this mental disagreement. The door knob was rotated and Alexandra left the room, heading for the lower levels of the mansion, where the danger room rested, lonely and mysterious.
The hallways were empty as she passed them, proving her right that choosing this time of the day would mean that the danger room was unoccupied. Who else would choose to train at late night on a Friday. Silent steps carried her across the metal floor of the hallway that led to the Danger Room. However, buzzes from inside it made her eyebrow rose slightly with interest. Was there actually someone else in the Mansion that had chosen this unlikely time to train?
Alexandra brushed her finger against the button that opened the Danger Room doors with a slight metallic screeching. Blue eyes quickly analyzed the scenario that was being played inside the Danger Room. She pretty much recognized the area the scenario had chosen to replay. During some of her night travels, the wheels of her bike had carried her there and its inhabitants weren’t exactly known for their benevolent actions. Drug dealers, thugs, whores… those and a few more where the jobs that were being practiced over there. Alexandra moved her eyes from taking in the surroundings to the female that shared her passion for training at late hours.
The girl didn’t see older than 18, perhaps she had yet to reach that age. Brown hair cascaded down her shoulders, contrasting with the white top she had chosen to wear. Physical traits were quickly taken in by the molecular manipulator, it had become a habit to retain an image of the person she met and quickly associate it with a power. After all, that was what she was meant to do.
Alexandra continued to watch with interest, as the scenario continued to run. She hadn’t seen the girl before, therefore she didn’t know her name, nor her powers. A thug quickly rushed to the girl, swinging a bat toward her with a plain mean look. Alexandra grew concerned as she saw the thug taking the aim at her head. As far as she remembered, danger room sessions weren’t supposed to be that dangerous.
However, the girl didn’t seem to be worried, as she didn’t move and let the man take his hit. The bat collided with the girl’s head and where Alexandra would have seen some brains being laid down on the concrete of the street, she only saw pieces of the bat falling down while the thug was quickly grabbed by the throat and thrown into the crowd.
Inefficient the girl said, bringing a smile on the molecule manipulator’s lips. Alexandra took a step forward, her hands folded under her breasts. “Perhaps you should add mutant thugs to the simulation. They are very likely to be met in this side of the town.” she said, walking closer to where the girl and her attackers were, but careful to keep a distance that would give her plenty of time to react if the holographic thugs decided to react upon her arrival.
A young woman walked into the scenario. She certainly didn't belong to the scenaria and hence was a real person. Alison turned around and looked at her while she spoke. All kind of minor thoughts ran through her head as she tilted her head and looked at the woman speak with glazy eyes.
"Analysing...... Human, Threat assesment...... minimal, Advise..... taken in consideration. Course of action: Respond."
Due to the absence of her concious mind, the thoughts took a while to gather. "Thank you for explaining." She said as a man with a knife tried to stab her. She caught the knife with her hand and broke the man's arm in the proces of disarming him. Normal thugs had nothing on her. This was all just a small training excirse to keep her body active while sleeping. Something her body wanted to do. It would have been this or just standing at the window staring out.
This scenario was a bit to easy for somebody who could be shot and survive without any internal damage. Taking the advise the woman gave into consideration was the least she could do. Maybe even work something out with the woman about this place. Thoughts and action couldn't take place at the same time at the moment though. You would need a consious mind for that. The bad side of that showed when a bottle was being tossed at her and hit her on the arm. A small glass shard was stuck in her arm. She pulled it out without a inch of pain and continued to march on to the person throwing it.
Alexandra blinked, a bit surprised with the response that the other woman gave to her. Her eyebrow arched slightly, blue eyes analyzing her actions. The molecule manipulator compared the movements with a robot, but shrugged. There were many mutations these days and who knew what side effects they had. Some had extra-limbs, some had blue skin, some had tail. Although she was curious about the other girls mutation Alexandra remained quiet. Her hands folded under her breasts, while waiting for the girl to actually pay attention to her.
