The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Link got out of the car and pulled out his bags. He looked upon the gate, it was relativley big and inside he could see a vast vareity of foliage, and a bustling of people. He had been sent here do to his unique ablilities. Supposedly these people could help him control them so that he may not summon a lightning bolt and explode a car. His peicing blue eyes stared and tried to take in all of the sights but there were too many and he just blinked and walked up to the gate.
He was a litttle nervous and a cool breeze began to blow, causing his hair to gently sway to and fro. His nervousness was soon calmed by a good looking girl that just walked by and smiled. He gave her a smile and walked up and began to open the gate. Here it goes, he thought.

"Okay, lower it! Little more.... Little more.... Aaaannd.... that's good! Hold it centered please."
The construction bot complied and held the new sapling in place in the hole, while Neena proceeded to start shoveling dirt back into the cavity. She made a mental note to thank the little fox girl who had created the bots with a special gift later, maybe a shopping spree, or some other outing.
She was up to her arms in dirt, when she heard the gate open behind her. She looked up, squinting behind her sunglasses at the new arrival.
"Hey there!" she called in greeting. "Can I help you?"

Link looked up somewhat shocked. He didnt expect a greeting already, he fumbled for words at first but regained his composure.
"Yeah.. Maybe you can. Where do I go? I mean I'm new" he said putting his hand behind his head and smiling. He noticed that she was doing some manual labor and Link felt sort of bad for her. He was not accustomed to people being able to take care of themselves, especially women. He was new to this whole ablilites thing, for all he knew, she could have super strength.
"Um... do you want some help" He said putting down his bags and walking foward to her before she had time to answer his question.

"Yeah.. Maybe you can. Where do I go? I mean I'm new"
Neena grinned. "Oh, cool. This place sure is popular lately. Hang on just a sec." She picked up her shovel and thrust it into the earth, to keep it upright. She smacked her hands on her already dirty jeans, then pulled off the gardening gloves.
"Um... do you want some help"
"Eh? Oh! Nah, don't worry 'bout it. Just cleaning up after a slight power mishap. Nothing a little gardening and some paint can't fix. Let's get you set up inside first. Nice to see someone eager to work though. Be careful, I might just recruit ya later, if you're not careful," she teased. Turning to the bot she said, "Be right back." Then she motioned for him to follow her, hefting one of the bags as she went.
"So, m'friend, are you preregistered, or a drop in? Oh, name's Neena, by the way. Welcome to Xavier's." She offered her free hand as they neared the door.

Link just smiled to her remark about putting him work, he grabbed up his stuff and followed her. The campus was really breath taking and made him feel more comfortable already.
" I am a....preregestered student, and the name is Link" he said with a smile but slightly forgetting if he was a preregistered student or not. This was moving a little fast for him and he was getting a little nervous again. He just realized that all of these people were somewhat like him and could be potentially dangerous, they had to be here like him, or choosed to be here.
"Um sorry to intrude but may I ask what is your....gift" he politely asked Neena. "Sorry I am just a little curious" He confessed.

" I am a....preregistered student, and the name is Link"
"Oh, good, that makes it easy on me." She set his bed down in the foyer, and moved to the table where the 'New Resident' Folders were kept. "Let's see. Link... Link.... Hmm... No, that's Lark...." she muttered to herself.
"Um sorry to intrude but may I ask what is your....gift"
"No worries, you're not intruding. I'm a vision specialist, of sorts. I've got some fairly sensitive eyes, thus the glasses. But don't worry, I have it under control," she added with a wink. "Ah! Here we go. Link Turner? Is that you?" She pulled out a specific folder.

Link was still a little unclear about her ability but decided to not further the interrogation. He had lightly giggled when she had said Lark, it was just funny to him.
"Yes I'm Link Turner" He said with a full smile and looked to the folder she had pulled out. He began to wonder if that file would tell her everything about him, how he almost killed an innocent family and what his powers were. He was a little nervous and began to stutter a little. "wha... whats in.. that file?" He asked.

"wha... whats in.. that file?"
"Basically just your name and age. The rest you get to fill in for Miss Tipper, the Headmistress." She handed him the folder, noticing the stutter as she did. He sounded nervous to her ears, which didn't surprise her. Most of the new students were a bit on the timid side at first. Plus the majority had pasts they prefered to keep to themselves, pasts that had inevitably led them to Xavier's front doors.
"There are two things I do need to know though, as well as you putting them in the file. What are your powers, and are they dangerous to your or others around you?" Her tone softened slightly as she added, "Don't worry. This is all confidential." There was no one around at the moment, emphasizing her point.
