The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

(This will take place in the x-men parking lot, immediately after the getaway from KP. Any X-man can post here, but I’m assuming this is going to end up in the infirmary fairly soon)
Nail had watched the pavement fly past him for the last fifteen minutes, watching as it seemed to fly by just in front of his nose. It felt strange feeling the forces of the car as it wove around curves and such. It was like being on a rollercoaster with a very bad seat where you couldn’t see where you were going. He was just thankful they didn’t drive over any curves, or he would have had his face scrapped off.
When he felt the car slowing down, he prepared himself, reabsorbing some of the crystal that held him in place. As soon as the van came to a stop, he heard the doors slam open, and people jump out. Nail absorbed the rest of his exoskeleton, and fell to the floor before crawling out from underneath the car. There where people helping each other out of the van, and some of them where even helping people on stretchers out.
“Please help…” It was all Nail could think of saying really. He was confused, in a new place, with an unknown group of people, who might just be so surprised at his appearance, they might shoot him.
“I… I was poisoned. I need help…ah!”
Now that his exoskeleton was gone (and, little did he know, the effects of the adrenaline that was injected into him was worn off, not poison) a deep wound in his bicep was gushing blood slightly. He had almost forgotten the injury he had sustained while fighting the invisible woman.
Fade jumped out of the van and began to make her way into the infirmary, following behind everyone, it seemed. To tell the truth, Fade was in no possible way, the mutant to be walking around. Her broken collar bone was excutiatingly painful, not to mention all of the crystal shards now lodged in her and other various wounds. Her consciousness had gone blank the whole ride and she was in a stretcher until they were in sight of the mansion, where she suddenly sat up, in immense pain. Refusing to be brought in on a stretcher, Fade wanted to keep her dignity by walking in with low pain on her face although every step pained her more than the last.
All that the redhead needed was to pass back out on an infirmary bed and allow the doc to take care of her while she was unconscious, but she was firm on saying that she was going to walk in the mansion. Her pace slowed as she fell behind the group, grabbing her collar bone in pain and shutting her eyes as it it would help. Some of her muscles had not finished phasing to their original position, so her hands were covered partially in skin and partially in muscles and some areas in bones. Her cheek bone was quite visible as she had not yet recovered from her encounter with Jack.
A few more breaths told her she needed to get to the infirmary and fast, but something caught her attention. A weak cry for help. Turning her torso, the redhead looked down on the ground to find her KP opponent, Jared the Galleria of Jewelry. An eyebrow raised as she looked down on him, her first assumption was that he wanted a rematch, to show his true colors, but the look of pain painted on his face suggested something else. He seemed to generally want help.
"Why didn't you go to the Order Infirmary? What are you doing here?" She asked, completely oblivious to what side he was on. The pain that she was experiencing was too great, she needed to at least sit down if she couldn't go to the infirmary right that second. So, she acted as though she meant to sit down, but half-way down, she gave up and relaxed her body, falling with more pain before leaning against the side walk with her less-pained arm.
"Are you freaking crazy! No way I'm going back to that place!"
Nail noticed all the little injuries Fade had sustained. She looked horrible. He knew it was not goot that yu could see someones bone and muscle. They all looked like serious injuries. But she wasn't bleeding everywhere like he was, so that was a good thing. When she fell to the ground however, he realised he was probably in better condition than her... other than the whole poison thing.
He quickly moved over to her, kneeling beside her, and tried to help her up.
"Look, I'm not with those freaks. I need to see a doctor because of one of them... and you need to see one too."
He tried to steady her without touching any of the exposed or open wounds. She already looked like she was in a world of pain, she didn't need him causing her any more. She really looked like crap, but he wasn't about to say that to a her. He was pretty sure that any other day she would she would look hundreds of times better.
"Just tell me where to go, and I can get us both there."
