Ghost snorted at Sam's sumation of the situation. "Commissioner Wellings took the phone, has promised to call, and would quite like the X-men to train under his supervision. I don't think he would have agreed if we hadn't put that on the table. When we do train with the police, I suggest sending people who are patient and agreeable as well as more experienced so I advise against new trainees or ... Deathstar or Kaz." She nodded. Yep. That was about it. Send in good people to make a good impression and keep teh killers at home.
Meanwhile Ghost's dad was feeling a bit in over his head. >"Mission? X-men? Maya, what is all this?"
She cleared her throat signalling her ignorance of the man who was leaning forward to tap her on the shoulder. "Are we quite through?" She didn't especially enjoy having to deal with personal matters in public. And there was a big fat personal issue tapping her on teh shoulder now.

Luke did his best to hide a slight grin as Ghost pointedly ignored Sam's request for an introduction. Obviously the air-mancer was getting even more annoyed and frustrated with the whole situation and obviously she wanted to keep this at least somewhat personal.
"I offered the Commissioner and updated security system for all of his precincts and he said he'd take it under advisement." Luke spoke up, adding in the information he had obtained once Ghost had left, "He seemed receptive to everything we were talking about but still a little bit suspicious. If we does get the system I'm going to keep my hands off as much as possible so that he doesn't start to feel even more suspicious that we might use the system to spy on the police force."
The final question uttered by the young woman confirmed all that Luke had been thinking. Ghost wanted to get away from everyone and deal with her father in her own way on her own terms. After having seen them at the police station and in the can Luke was sure that Ghost was safe. The two of them might have family issues to take care of but there had been nothing to indicate any sort of violence would be carried out.
"Sam, this is Ghost's father. I'm sure they've got a lot of catching up to do so if you want, I can answer any questions you have." Luke spoke up, turning his head so that his sunglass covered eyes were staring in Sam's direction. Hopefully the X-Men leader would take the hint and let Ghost leave. Luke would of course be glad to tell him everything he knew about Ghost and her father but that wouldn't be much.

Eyes focusing on Ghost then traveling to Luke and the man next to ghost. His eyes calculating the outcome of the events that had unfolded, a grin appeared on his face as he looked into the face of the older man. Rubbing the back of his head slightly still remembering where Ghost had cracked him with the bat ”I have so many questions for you…” Sam said his face completely serious as he nodded back to Ghost then Luke his expression changing to a more excited one. After all this was the first good news he had had as Tricity’s sub.
”Luke, I won’t be needing you to stick around after all.” Sam lifted a communicator similar to the one he had asked Ghost and Luke to hand the commissioner, ”I’ll be going into direct contact with him very soon, so expect training with the cadets soon got it?” he looked back to ghost and nodded his head slightly ”Meeting dismissed, and thank you for your time and efforts, and I look forward to meeting you sir”
As the debriefing ended on what he would call a somewhat positive note Sam went back to his paper work as he started to write down questions he had for the commissioner.
