(Note: Switched with Werecat) Meld slowly drifted from the world of sleep to the world of the waking. She seemed particularly comfortable this morning, all warm and cozy in her little cocoon of blankets. And they were so soft soft and fluffy and-suddenly Meld sat bolt upright, all thoughts of sleep lost. Warm and soft were not sensations that she had been able to feel for many years, ever since she discovered she was a mutant. Had something happened and she could now feel again? But then how would she be able to meld with more of her flesh melds if pain was an issue? She needed precision, she needed-but that wasn't the only thing wrong with her, not by a long shot. Meld realized she was covered in fur! And it wasn't even the black she would have expected given her natural hair color, it was blond. Not that she had ever expected to be covered in fur, but what the hell was going on? She jumped out of bed and the world swayed around her. Something was wrong with her vision. Out of the corner of her eye she spotted movement and spun her head around to better see what it was and she had a tail! A freaking tail! What was going on? She was seriously starting to panic now and took a few deep calming breaths. She could figure this out, she could discover what had happened and make everything right again. Once a little calmer she took a better look around. Not only had her body undergone some very unexpected changes; so much so that she didn't even think she was in her own body any more, but she clearly wasn't in her own room either, which only served to reinforce the theory that, perhaps, she was no longer in her own body. Looking around the room, which turned out to be an oddly disorienting experience given that her sight simply wasn't functioning like it should be, she found a backpack and, digging through it, discovered several wallets, each with different names and ids, and a large wad of money. She pocketed part of the money and went in search of some clothing, reasoning that she wouldn't get any answers staying here. Dressing turned out to be an interesting experience, between her bizarre sight and the fact that she had to dress around a tail. Finally presentable, or at least as presentable as a furred cat woman could be, Meld exited the room and was more than a little surprised to discover that she recognized the place she found herself. It was The Mansion, a place she had only been to once before but it was hard to forget regardless. As she walked she remained close the the wall, a hand set upon it in order to steady herself. Hopefully she would be able to find someone that would be able to help her figure this out. Ghost or maybe even Mettaliar, both of which had spoken to her and been kind in the past. But at this point she would be happy to accept an explanation from almost anyone. (OOC: Continued in When You Wake up in Another's Body
