The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Hunter stepped out of the limo door that his drive had opened. He took a look at the school. It was an impressive building, looking to be doing quite well off for itself. However, few organisations could ignore a $200,000 donation being waved in front of their face. Sabrina had already phoned ahead to inform them of both his offer and his arrival. He was keen to look around the school, the prospect of so many mutants exciting him.
It was only in the last few decades that he had discovered the ability to absorb other mutants’ abilities through drinking their blood. While he was in New York he was considering sampling some of them, testing out which powers he liked. He would have to be careful though, if his thirst for new power caused undue attention it could jeopardise his plan, and that he could not afford.
For now he simply stood in front of the gates and waited. If the school actually had any mutants that intrigued him he would give them the donation, thereby ingratiating himself and allowing easier access to his chosen prey.
OOC: Sabrina has not revealed that Hunter is a mutant. He is posing as a pro-mutant human for the visit.

Ted gave out a sigh of relief. This had to be it! He stumbled over to the gates of the mansion, still in his torn clothes that he had been wearing since his arrival in New York. Exhausted from not having been able to get anything to eat for while, and overcome with weary after the months from living on the streets of New York, he collapsed in front of the gates. He failed to notice the limo, or the man in the smart suit next to him.
Hunter moved swiftly to the fallen teenager. His role here was as a “nice guy”, so while normally he would have either left him there, or taken him as a meal, he had to appear nice to keep his cover. He checked for a pulse before kneeling next to the boy shouting towards the mansion. “Hey! Can someone get out here! This kid looks in bad shape!” He turned to his driver. “Maximillian, grab some water from the cool box and bring it here quickly.” Maximillian nodded and quickly retrieved and brought over a bottle of water. Hunter unscrewed the top and held it to the boy’s lips, letting him drink some.
Fiona had been out of sorts as her lovely time with Terrance had been abruptly cut to an end. "I wonder if I bored him?" she mumbled, and realized she needed to get away from the awful paint fumes in her room and go for a walk.
Getting dressed in a pair of black jeans and a white blouse, she donned her sandals and decided to head to the grounds simply to walk about and breathe some fresh air. All of a sudden, she heard a man's shouting and judging from the tone and inflection in his voice it was urgent. She ran towards the sound and encountered a fallen boy with a well dressed man hoevering above him.
"Oh my God, is he okay?" she asked, and made to open the gate.
“I’m not sure,” Hunter replied, “he just walked up to the gates and collapsed. I think that he is malnourished and exhausted, and that with some food and rest he should be fine.” Hunter picked the boy up off the ground and stepped into the grounds. “Do you have medical facilities inside where we can take him?”
Fiona had the gates open and ready, looking at the young boy's face and taking in that he looked pale and exhausted. She nodded to the well dressed man's comments about the boy, and blanched when he mentioned the infirmary. However, when she gained a bit of composure, she looked to the boy and realized that he needed help--and she didn't have to linger in the infirmary too long if need be. Nodding, she motioned with her hand to follow as she walked into the mansion.
Recalling her first time in the mansion, she remembered where the infirmary was and soon had led them through the winding hallways to a calming room to most, where cots lined the walls. A gentle looking old man sat within, and stood as he took in Fiona's nervewracked expression and the unconcious boy in the man's arms.
"Just set him right there, that would be wonderful." said the old man to the well-dressed latter, and attended to him, his hands glowing.

Ted opened his eyes and looked about him in confusion. "Where am I?" He noticed someone standing over him with glowing hands, well it seemed like he had found the place. He tried to look around, but now that he was here his earlier determination had worn out, and he closed his eyes again. Without opening them he mumbled, "God I'm hungry..."
Hunter carefully placed the boy where instructed before turning to the woman. “In all the commotion I forgot to introduce myself. Hunter Antonescu, my assistant has phoned ahead about my visit, would you know anything about that?” Hunter took this opportunity to appraise the woman. She was an exquisite beauty, one of few he had seen in his many years. He hoped that she would be the one to give him the tour, for he would love for an opportunity to get to know her better. The fact that it would allow him greater access to the school was a bonus.
The doctor turned to them both and smiled. "He'll be just fine--I'll have some food brought here for the boy. In the meantime--are you alright young lady?" asked the doctor of Fiona, and the response of rapid nodding and backing away was almost comical. Shrugging, the doctor stifled a laugh and walked off to where the phones were to call on the staff for the means of food.
Fiona sighed and looked over to where the other man was standing. Hearing him introduce himself, she raised her eyebrows at his unique last name. 'Atonescu? That sounds very foreign!' she thought. Shaking her head at the man, she realized she had no idea who he was and immediately distinguished him as being someone very high up in the ladder.
"I'm sorry, I haven't heard anything. I'm simply a resident here, a quite new one in fact. However, I can show you around and direct you to someone who would know about that sort of thing. If you're interested, of course!" she added quickly, feeling quite small in his presence.
Hunter smiled at her shyness. He had that effect when blending in with society, it came from his centuries as a nobleman. Although she claimed to only be a resident, he was sure that she could give him a tour of the place, he could speak to the management latter. He mentally shook himself to remember why he was here, to look for mutants with powers to absorb. The fact that he got to meet this beautiful woman was merely a bonus. “I’m here on a visit to see whether or not I should donate to the school. A tour would be greatly appreciated Miss…”

As he was fed he food, Ted began to come around. He saw the doctor and the other two, and he suddenly remembered why he was here. He looked around, trying to see if it was a trap, because the cops were still after him since his escape all those months ago. He began to get up, and turned to the doctor. "I need to speak with Xavier". The doctor shook his head, "that would be the other school, this is the sister school that was set up to house all the mutants that kept looking for sanctuary. You will have to speak with Tricity if you want the headmistress." Ted looked confused, "sister school? Fine, but all I really need is just a place to stay where they won't find me."
Fiona frowned as she realized how important he had to be in order to be in the position to donate to the school. Nodding to him, she gave the boy in the bed a quick glance, noticing they had brought food for him already.
"Well, here at the mansion we have a lot of different features... We have a full set of classrooms, a well stocked kitchen and cafeteria for the students, dormitories, infirmary--as you've seen--and facilities for the training of mutants. As well as that there are beautiful grounds with a tennis court, pool, and I'm sure much more outside. We also have a library, dining rooms, and a quite lovely living room area."
Fiona surprised herself by how much she knew already about her home. She had recalled much of the information from the tour she had recieved not too long ago, and luckily remembered clearly where everything was.
"Just choose a location to begin and we can go from there." she said, with a modest smile.
Hunter smiled at the woman, pleased that she had agreed to the tour. He noticed that the boy had come round and went over to him. The “nice guy” act must be maintained, and Hunter had almost perfected acting like a saint. “You look as if you’ve been run ragged son. I noticed that you didn’t have any possessions with you when you arrived. Here,” He said pulling out his wallet, “Go and buy yourself some nice clothes, those that you’re wearing are practically rags.” Pressing $200 into the boys hand he turned back to the woman.
“Seeing as this is a school I think I’d best start with the class rooms. Do you know many of the mutants here? I’ve always been fascinated by mutants, and the vast range of abilities they can posses is quite extraordinary. That is why I am considering donating, their unique talents should be nurtured, not quashed. If what I see here today impresses me the school can consider the $200,000 theirs.”
Ted looked at the money in his hands, and looked up to thank the man, but he had already left. He got off the bed, and turned to the doctor. "Who should I speak to if I'm looking for a place to stay?"
"Don't worry about that, first I'll need to find you a room." He gave Ted directions to the bedrooms, and told him to go down the hallway on the left. "There should be a spare room for you, just choose one that isn't already taken." Ted thanked him, and headed for the dormitory
