OK so, we have been chatting about in the C-box and I thought we might as well get the Idea put down in something a bit more solid.

Several of us have spoken and thought about the want to continue the Fp longer than the scheduled date. I was thinking there are a couple of viable options.

I of course am open to more suggestions to throw out there.

The first is that we have that we simply keep the Fp as a permanent setting. in this scenario I think it would be important to set an end to the possible memory date, as in everything after the plot "ends" isn't up for grabs to "remember" once the plot "ends" so if we ended it in august, everything after we cant remember in the modern setting. I think this is a good Idea simply so we don't have the continued effect of several people remembering the future, forever.

The second option is having the FP stay how it is and then add a sequel. so everybod can remember what happend up to the first end date. and then once the sequel ends we can have a second remembering.

This option allows for people to end the plot as planned and not worry about the sequel if they so choose or to continue on with the plot and get extra memories in a few months or when ever we decide on the end of the sequel. (we coul always come back and add part three if needed with the same rules as part two.)

let me know if I am being confusing and I will try to clear up my thought process.

Eh, I'm more in favor of it actually having an end date. My own characters in CP have diverged so fully from their FP selves that I'm actually a little sick of the FP ones. I also grow weary of having to correct people about who runs the Kabal in FP.

I think it's fair game for certain threads/thread arcs to extend past the date, but I think we should definitely set the "this is the end" date and stick to it. Aka, no new people joining it, and people aiming to wrap things up--if that takes time, that's no problem. Just so long as they're not honestly aiming to extend things forever. If they want to do that, they can switch the the FanFiction board after everyone else wakes up.

hmmm, I suppose the fan fic works just as well, without taking out the fun. I just know there were several people hoping to get more time out of it.
