The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

As Ghost left their presence, Xavia stood for a moment more at the window. She slowly turned toward the other girl and gave a feeble smile, “Thank you…” She said, then frowned as she saw the woman’s hand. She reached out to touch the scar, wishing she could do something.
Her brow knit as she considered, and then her eyes lit up as she had a brain fart. Closing her eyes, she concentrated hard, sweat popping from her brow as she held her palm up. A whimper escaped her as roots moved through her skin, once again, and plant life began to grow slowly from her palm. Gritting her teeth, she forced herself to continue concentrating until the spiny limbs of an aloe plant slowly un furrowed from her palm.
Gasping, she stopped concentrating and her head dropped back, breathing heavy and uneven for a moment. IF she wasn’t so weak, it wouldn’t have been so hard!
She plucked at one of the spiny leaves from her palm and offered it to Alexandra, before shaking the other hand and ridding herself of the plant, which flew somewhere or another, LOOK OUT! –Thud.- The aloe wouldn’t heal the wound in a minute, but it would sure sooth it.
Whether or not the aloe was accepted, she gave a tired sigh and leaned against the bed she had been sleeping in for the last few months. “Maybe you help me get dressed, yes? If you want…” She gave another feeble smile and clutched at the sagging blanket. Her gaze drifted off in the direction Ghost went for a moment, from there.
The procedure was scheduled for some time in the next week. Ghost would be glad to get rid of the offensive mars on her body. The was a bullet a reminder of the hate that people still carried in their hearts and she would like to have it on her desk at the Full Circle just to show those jerks what was what. The tattoo... that was a bit more complex. She didn't even rightly remember it being etched on her body. It certainly meant something to CS that they were now similarly marked, but it wasn't a bond he liked to openly share.
Sigh. Well, she had a week to decide if she wanted to keep the wounds or be rid of them. As it was, she'd been tossing any and everything that was potentially harmful from her past. She was just ready to move onward already.
When Ghost walked out of DocProf's office, Xavia and Alexandra were no where to be seen. Ah, maybe Xavia had required additional help? Ghost tried to anticipate the next thing Xavia might need and disappeared down the hall with a new student packet including a map, keys to a room, and some spare clothes. Even if she was only staying a few days, she'd need those things. And after that maybe they'd hit the kitchen. After being a coma a girl had to be hungry right? Ghost set the extras on a bed, keys on top, and hopped up next to them sitting on a patient bed, ready to carry them as needed.
Alexandra could call herself almost scared when Xavia her eyes closed and sweat began to pop from her brow. She was about to call for the doc prof thinking that the girl might have some kind of seizure and drop down in any minute. Only when she extended her hand she realized that she was actually trying to use her powers. She really didn’t want to take care of these kind of situation. An aloe plant began to sprout from her hand and Xavia seemed to have a hard time to do this. “Maybe you shouldn’t push yourself too hard-” A leaf was offered to her and Alexandra took it reluctantly. Another visit to the doc prof would have worked wonders and all the effort the new mutant wouldn’t have been needed. “Thanks.” she said as she retracted her hand that was now holding the plant. Yeah, she would do a visit to the doc prof to heal the still sensitive scar but she also kept the aloe, people said it was doing wonders for the skin.
The rest of the plant began to flow around her room as Xavia shook her head. Alexandra blinked as she tilted her head to the left as a part of the plant zoomed past her ear then returned to the previous position with a blank look. Her eyes watched another plant land on some of the doc’s instruments. Thud, ding, ding. Her eyes drifted to the door of the doc’s office to see if the commotion would bring him out It didn’t and Alexandra’s stare returned to Xavia just as she was telling her that she could help her getting dressed.
Alexandra nodded with a smile. “Sure. Let’s get you to the bathroom.” she said as she picked up the clothes Ghost had put on the bed earlier. “If you feel weak or so you can lean on me.” she added and waited for the other mutant girl to decide on what she would do.
