The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Strain: Losing it Again (Open- The more the better
( ;D there is going to be some fighting here just a warning)
Concentrating Miracle figured she had her act to get her time had given some feeling about when she was about to lose it and it did not feel like she was going to slide. Sadly she knew she was going to have a forced slide the next night and so she needed to eat alot more for it took a lot of energy to slide and if it was not there she would be ridiculously weak the morning after. Breathing heavier and heavier Miracle thought her heart was about ready to explode. This was a new feeling to add to the list. New feelings were never a good thing, they meant she was a bout ready to slide into a another transformation. Ignoring her fluttering heart Mir placed the last slice of bread on her sandwich. It was ready but suddenly she felt some thing else which was not quite so new. There was a crack and her knees buckled. Her ribs had begun shifting like they always did. This time was different though. instead of one or two at a time. She could not tell how many shifted but it was more then two her previous max.
With little to help her stand she plummeted to the ground still leaning over the counter. The way in which she stood was not good for the way she was falling. Just before she reached the one knee her forehead struck the counter. Crimson sanguine liquid slowly shot from the center of her forehead just above her eyebrows, which seemed to be taking on an all to terrible color. Grey meant she was losing herself to the beast white meant she was lost. The blood ran quickly over her grey brows, as she reacted in the only way she could. Falling back Miracle came to a loud crashing rest when she landed on her back. placing her hands to her heads she let loose a high pitched wail that could be easily identified as a young woman in trouble. Taking her hands from her forehead revealed that the blood was still there but the deep gash was not. There was little that could keep her from healing immediately when the moon approached fullness, and this was why she place herself in the danger room on nights like this.
The second cry was some thing slightly more in human and slightly feral. Arching her back and lifting her hands into the air Miracle reached for the ceiling. As her hands reached the highest point she quickly brought them back into the ground with a quick but loud crash. She could feel it coming but why was it happening two nights before the full moon. This was completely unexpected for her she had not seen this coming. After she had just began to get help this has to happen. Her thoughts to herself were quickly interrupted by the heat building in her chest."No No No No...No not tonight," she cried to herself as the tears rolled down her cheeks. Flipping on to her hands and knees Miracle looked around to try to find some thing to help her. she had done this every transformation but she never found any thing that helped her ever. Losing the fight for air as her breaths became far to shallow to support her quickly failing voice. Leaning back and off her hands she wrapped her hands around her arms. The heat from her chest was spreading and as it entered her arms she felt as though they were on fire on the inside.
Sliding her now clawed finger down her arms she ripped the skin a sunder allowing more blood to be shed. As her hands came down to her wrist she let out a banshee like howl it was not likely that she was unheard.Though it hurt it felt as though it allowed the fire in her veins to cool. Falling forward once more her claws met with the tiled floors once more. See how the more she fought and the more she resisted letting the change happen the more pain she went through, the thought of letting go seemed just so tempting. Seduced by this thought once she knew what would come of it and she was not going to let it happen again. Coughing out small grunt like sounds she tried to hold back what seemed like an ocean of hate and intense uncontrolled aggression Ears twitching biceps swelling Mir felt her strength failing...it would not be long until she could not hold back the beast that was coming out.
Sunny was getting used to being in the mansion. It seemed peaceful enough but there were things that made the days different and very interesting. Seeing people with mutations and using them when they walked around at times, playing sports, relaxing and playing outside. Sunny felt very much at home now but still was getting used to the whole thing. He found that people were nice but he always did think of the worse when it came to socializing, it was how Sunny was. He did though had a really bad itch to practice his Archery or his powers. There wasn't much of an itch to use his powers since he practiced his light shields in his bedroom but he really was thinking of asking permission to use the danger room so that he could fully practice everything. He just couldn't wait to practice his Achery skills and to pull back the string of the bow and to let the arrow glide through the air towards its target, a perfectly aimed target as well. Sunny could just imagine it as well. He smiled a little and felt a little rush of happiness flood through him, he really couldn't wait and to fully use his powers as well without secrecy felt good as well. To control the photons from his torch and unleash them into concentrated balls of light to smash through bricks themselves. He could almost hear the crash of the light smashing though them. Until he heard a scream coming from nearby.
Sunny quickly turned around and stopped for a few seconds. Thoughts rushed through his head and wondered what it was. His little dream was broken and now he was recoiling from it. Then he heard cries of pain which stabbed through his body and into his heart. This jilted Sunny into action. Without a care in a world or thoughts of anxiety, he rushed to where the cries and screams where coming from. All the while thinking of how much pain the person must be in to have screamed like that. He turned a corner then another and came to the Kitchen door. Sunny was hit with a physical and mental barrier which made him step back for a second. The cause, was a woman/wolf thing struggling in a pool of blood and full of anguish.
Sunny couldn't help that this thing seemed to be something from his nightmares. Nightmares which haunted him so that he was so scared to sleep that it caused his insomnia. Sunny had to think twice, was he in a nightmare...no it wasn't...his nightmares felt so much more worse then this, so much more bitter...painful...horrific. Sunny took a deep breathe and wondered what to do, what could he do in such a situation like this, he never had been in a situation in reality like it. Thinking nothing at all about anxiety he shouted "Someone help, She's in trouble." He stepped forward a little, his left hand in his back pocket, where his torch was, and drawing it from his back pocket but he kept it behind him. He couldn't tell if she would attack him, she seemed to be in so much pain, but Sunny thought just in case he would bring out a light shield.
During slides most of Mir senses where over come by he mere stress of the shift but the one sense which survived was her sense of hearing and it heightened to damn near impossible levels. When The other mutant walked in Mir's eye shot to him but she could not get a focus on him, sadly she had a terrible case of double vision at the moment. In increasing amounts of pain and anguish Mir panicked. Her mind raced what would happen if the young man stayed to long. She did not need to much a reason to maul some one one she deteriorated into an animal. Slamming her fist into the ground she focused enough to free one word from her lips. "RUN!!!" with that she felt her strength leave her and her double vision began to fade into black. Dark black hair being replaced by her far more natural light gray and white, she twitched and grunted as the changed began to quicken in pace. Shoulder blades protruding in an instant her spine began to poke out and take strange and almost alien shape, as the base of it began to form a tail.
Heat rising Mir took her claws to her chest which had began to reshape it's self and tore her tank top to shreds. Lack finesse and skill meant that again she dug in deep and ripped into her self. Consumed by the feral state of mind Mir dropped face first to the floor. Taking a more canine form was almost complete all that was left was the need for digitigrade legs. Kicking stomping er legs seemed to just seamlessly arch back until she was able to walk on her toes like all canines. With Mircale gone the animal she had dubbed Biely vlk was free and would do any thing. All the urges she fought to keep in check and repressed where free. Lurching forward Biely vlk quickly began to gain the not only long and slightly crooked snout but fangs which would only grow longer and more jagged as the night went on. thick fur also shot up and congealed into a lion like longer mane of pure white hair. Stretching and ripping the shorts she had thrown on that day just by moving forward on all fours. Growling her attention shot back to her guest who had stumbled in. He was not a threat in her mind and he was not lunch either so he was relatively safe as long as he did not commit him self to an action that could be seen as stupid. Sadly though he did such an action he had reached into his back pocket. This was a very obvious action and it seemed to her that he was pulling some thing out which could have been a gun she dd not like guns to much seeing how she had been shot before.
A low growl became a roar ans she made her move bending her hind legs positioned her to pounce forward. She was getting ready to lunge upon top of the blond. Digging her claws into the ground she quickly got herself into prime position and then letting loose another earth shaking roar she. Threw her self forward with all the force of a run away freight train. Seeing how she had just transformed though she did not have her full seventeen feet tall strength. It would take at least ten minute for her to reach that state and even then she would have to be responding to streesers of an almost life threatening level. Her battle with the silver man was some thing that could take her there only because he was made of the substance she could not heal from easily. And so as she shot forward through the air she opened her wide maw in preparation to defend her self with tooth and nail.
Sunny looked wide eyed as the woman was horrifically transforming into a wolf type of animal. He wasn't at all shocked by here transformation, morely shocked that it could happen in real life. His nightmares oddly enough made him slightly immune to gory and horrifying things such as this but he knew he wasn't going to get any sleep any time in a next month; inside his body gave a little cry to the lack of sleep it would have to go through after this...that's if he survives or not. The loud shout she gave for him to run hit Sunny quite a bit and he knew he should run but the whole transformation made him fixate on her. The whole thing just seemed so bizarre but then he realized that everyone here was mutant and they're all bizarre and freaky to humans.
Then Sunny feared the thing he truly hated about nightmares was the relentless chase of a monstrous being would come to pass and it seemed like it would. The creature, animal, monster or...woman, what ever it was seemed to reacted to his defense mechanism and a loud roar echoed through his mind. His whole body froze, he may have been used to it in the dream world but a thing like this happening in reality didn't happen everyday and he really didn't want to fight this thing. Yet he knew that he would have to run and probably fight it to defend himself. Every instinct in his body was calling him to do run to move to get out of here before it could harm him or even kill him but his body still wouldn't move. He felt exactly the same as in his nightmares with the horrible feeling of helplessness flowing through out his body.
The creature leaped towards him with its mouth wide open and Sunny had to defend himself. This time if he died he wasn't going to wake up because this wasn't a nightmare, it was reality. This struck a cord in his brain and instinctively he drew his torch in front of him, switched it on and he flashed his right hand in front of him, wide open, and in a split second a rectangular light shield the same size as himself, shining brightly as his torch appeared a meter in front of him. Hopefully the creature would bounce back, only cracking the shield.
Reacting in her own defense was most of the time all she was doing when other perceived she was attacking. Flying full force at her now center of focus Biely vlk threw her claws out to meet the sudden burst off light which shot in front of her. Hitting it head on and causing a loud smash she to was sent the opposite way through the air. Her head flyinf back she brought her arms back which allowed her to preform a back flip. This was some thing Mir had no problem doing and so Biely could also do it. Hind legs fly back because of her flip she brought her claws into the the ceiling. This slowed her flip a bit but did not stop it. Landing on all fours she got low to the ground muscles tensing she prepared herself to strike again. Unleashing a earth shaking roar the amber-browner color of Mir's eyes faded and a bright luminous yellow color appeared. Great and intense anger flowed from her as she exhaled steaming vapors. Now completely consumed Beily dug on claw into the tile and seemed to just begin pulling the rest of her body away from her forward claw.
Another growl and a bit of drool later and she flung her self at her target with the intent to tear limbs off this time. Nightmarish and crazed the beast slammed three off its claws into the tile almost throwing herself forward. Holding one claw out she brought it through cabinets and any thing that happened to be in the way bring with it every thing she had ripped out of place. This cause her arm to bend back further and further giving her more and more power when she did swing her claw at him. Upon getting close enough for him to feel the beast hot steam like breath Beily brought her claw up and did some thing incredible familiar to her. Brought it down in a chopping like motion. She was going to use all the force in her arm to not only rend him into two but she also had the force to crack the floor beneath him. Murderous intent was an understatement he had preformed an action she deemed was inappropriate and so therefore she had to come back with more force then the time before until her target no longer moved. This was her usual attaching method and so she would not deviate by not striking him down.
Sunny was glad that the creature wasn't able to smash through the shield because that would have been very bad for Sunny. He though trust in his powers and knew his strengths and weaknesses and knew that the shield would be able to withstand. As he saw the creature fall and flip back on to its feet he quickly examined the shield, looking it up and down. The light shield was cracked, in quite a few places actually and he wondered how powerful this creature was. He knew that the light shield could withstand a lot of pressure and power but would always deteriorate completely after 3 solid hits. It was due to the photons just being put out of place and at Sunny's current understanding of his powers, he wasn't able to reassert them back into place. He was though very unsure if the creature did a hit like that if it could brake the shield or not. He was unable to guess how powerful the creature was at the moment but he could only guess that it would grow in strength. He decided that it was of no use and dismissed the shield; the shield then faded out as quickly as it came but he left the torch shining on, shining on the creature.
Sunny then looked at the creature as it's eye turned into a fearsome yellow and it getting ready to attack. Sunny thought that this was a nightmare in reality and he had to handle it because if he didn't, Sunny wasn't going to be Sunny anymore, he would be Bloody. He was at least glad that it was in the mansion and that at least someone must be on the way to help now, weren't they? A whole mansion full of mutants, there must be some who were powerful enough to step in and help, they had to be. He couldn't contemplate this anymore since the the creature was now running at him with its claws out wide and ready to strike. He was amazed at its strength, tearing cabinets out of the way and heading towards him. He was surprised to say the least but was ready to make a light shield appear in front of him as soon as it came a bit closer. With the torch still shining in his left hand and his right hand in front of him opening wide, a light shield appeared in front of him as soon as the creature drew close.
Then he was thoroughly surprised at what the creature did, it brought its claws up and was bringing it down. Sunny didn't have enough time to move the light shield to protect him, so he created another right above him. It didn't matter if the torch wasn't shining up, as long as he was near it and it was on, he could move the photons above him and consolidate to protect him. He still wasn't quick enough to make it go directly above him but it was at a diagonal right next to his head. The other light shield, he moved it at a slight diagonal as well to protect his body. The whole maneuver of the light shields and the situation altogether was slightly putting strain on his body. Two light shields at the same time was all he could do,anymore then 2 shields at the same time and it would put serious strain on his body. He did guess however that the creature could probably cause serious cracking and damage to the shield but at least bounce back, but probably not as far as last time. Well that's what he hoped for anyway. If the creature did bounce back he decided that he would run out the kitchen and into the Hallway because at least then, he would be a lot more powerful between a few lamps then a simple torch.
