The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Clea was walking outside the mansion, looking around at the new place she'd been brought to. Well, walking wasn't the right word exactly, more like stumbling. The young brunette had yet to master the skill she'd given up on for so long. Her leg muscles certainly didn't appreciate the way they were being used, and her heart was racing, causing her a slight pain. Gritting her teeth slightly, she kept the shades on over her eyes. The sunlight wasn't a friend she wanted to greet just yet. As she practiced her walking up and down the stairs repeatedly, she noticed a fountain in her peripheral vision.
Humming softly to herself, she tried to ignore the large body of water as she spread her arms wide for better balance. Water had not been friendly to her in the past. Nearly drowning was not fun. She finally stopped on the stairs, and rested against the railing, still looking at the fountain. "Maybe if Clea can go to it, she can find water not so scary after all."
Lutz had gotten tierd of working so he was checking out the mansion. He could hear the quiet sound of water somewhere and heard a feignt sound like footsteps. 'I wonder who that is, and if they are freindly." he thought
Suddenly Lutz noticed a younger girl weakly going up the stairs. he quickly ran up the stairs and but his hand on her shoulder to steady her, and said. "hey, watch your step while your going up the stairs." he said this in a happy tone while smiling. he noticed the lightened cracks on the girls skin, 'Probably something to do with her mutation' he thought to himself.

Clea's head snapped back in surprise and she stumbled up the stairs and fell back, landing flat on her rear. He was smiling, so maybe he didn't mean her harm, but then again, Father had always smiled when he was testing her in the lab. Wincing, she looked up at the stranger. The first thing her eyes were drawn to were the rings in his lips. She knew that it wasn't polite to stare.
Gripping the toes of her hiking boots, she rocked back and forth and smiled at the new comer the best she could, but it looked strained. "Hi." She pointed to herself, "Clea." Looking down at the ground, she looked back at the fountain and frowned. Her rocking sequence continued. 'I hope that he doesn't try to hurt me or test my powers.'
Lutz noticed he had accidentally knocked her over and said " I'm sorry, I didn't mean to knock you over." he said reaching out to help her up. as he reached out he noticed her look at the fountain and frown, "yeah, I hate water too. For some reason my powers are negated while I am wet." he replied smiling trying to gain her trust.
He put his other hand in his pocket and moved around the marbles feeling their cool, glassy surfaces then pulling one out and asking her "would you like to see my power?" he laughed a little and put the marble away "actually I cant show you, its too dangerous to use it here."

Clea looked up at the man, and then looked back down, gripping her shoes tighter and rocking faster. She'd been leanring how top communicate better, but she was afraid to look stupid. "CLea's only good at running away." She muttered to herself."And she nearly drowned herself doing that."
Looking at the fountain, she remembered the same choking feeling of not being able to breathe. She Tried to smile again. "What's your name?" She looked up at the stranger. "Clea's mine." She paused, then took in a breath, "Clea Anne Rae Marie Rosebin, but Clea's what Clea likes the best." She grinned slightly, then wernt back to looking at the fountain.
"I bet you are good for way more than just running away." he sat down next to her "I bet almost drowning was not your fault. You’re still young, so you still have a long way to go with your powers." he smiled a little saying this, trying to reassure her. He pushed his hair up out of his eye and put his other hand on her shoulder closest to him.
"That’s a really cute name. My names Raymond Dauro, but I go by Lutz because of my powers involving marbles." He moved around a small safety pin on his pants. "Would you like to get farther from the fountain? I would gladly help you back down the stairs, you seem like you had a bit of trouble." And began to stand up after saying this.

"Lutz..." Clea said, letting the name register. It rolled off the tongue pretty well. She looked at the fountian one last time and stood up. Rolling her shoulder a bit to get the hand off it, as in a 'not to be rude guesture. ' "Clea likes the way that name sounds. Like 'let us.'" She looked down the stairs.
"A little help would be... nice." She rubeed her legs a little. "The legs on this body aren't in the best condition. Neither is the heart. Both have been damaged pretty bad." She looked at the ground, "Sorry, Clea probably sounds like she's talking too much."
Lutz smiled that she had actually accepted his help. He let her put her weight on him so she could walk easier. as he began to help her down the stairs he realised why he liked this girl so much, she reminded him of his sister, she was kind and had a soft forgiving voice the only difference was that his sister was strong and he was weak then, now it was switched. even though this wassnt his sister, he would protect Clea to show his sister up in heaven that he was stronger now.
he finnally got to the bottom of the stairs withy her and let her rest against the railing if she wanted. "oh, and your definatly not talking too much, my 4 years with noone will make any conversation great." he smiled as he said this.

C;ea leaned on the railing for support. She looked at the ground and smiled slightly in embarassment. "Thanks." She could relate somewhat to being around no one. Well, Father didn't exactly count as no one. Then again, normal people didn't hole one another up in labs. She rested on the railing more and put her hands on her knees, looking at the ground, her version of the fetal position. No eye contact was a bad habit of hers.
"So, why did Lutz decide to come and talk to Clea?" She wished she wouldn't have said that, it wasn't nice to question people constantly. "Lutz doesn't have to answer that if her doesn't want to."
Lutz looked at her and said " Well I first was just helping you on the stairs, but then decided to talk to you for a while. and dont worry, I love questions, it helps you get to know someone." he cracked his knuckles and sat down on the bottom step. If you wouldnt mind I would like to get to know you. How old are you Clea? Im 17." he smiled and pulled a marble from his pocket, dropping it on thestep watching it roll around.
Suddenly thoughts of his sister again plagued him, flashing images of her in his eyes. Tears pushing at his eyelids, as one tear rolled down his cheek and he looked up at Clea's face. Imagining his sister being alive again.

"Well, Clea's thirteen." Clea admitted. She kept looking at the ground. She slowly looked at Lutz, and saw that there was a pianed look on his face. "Lutz-" She saw the tear roll down his face. "Lutz! Clea's sorry! She didn't mean to make Lutz cry!!"
Swallowing she resisted her own urge to cry. Evertime she seemed to be happy, it always made the other person sad. Buryijng her face in her hands, she did the only thing she could do properly: Run away. The cracks on hwer skin grew deeper and more distinguished. Her skin turned a light shade of green, and her whole body turned into leaves. Reforming on the other side of the fountain, she felt winded and dropped into a three point position. The distance was maybe twenty feet tops. But to her it felt like she'd climbed a mile.
Lutz heard Clea appologize for what she did not do. "No Clea, I was not crying over your happiness. Its just I was thinking about my Sister. You happy was what kept me from being really really sad. not what caused the sadness." he smiled looked over at her behind the fountain. " well do you want me to come over there or do you want me to leave?" he smirked and stood up from the step after grabbing the marble and putting it away.

Clea slowly turned and looked at him, still smiling. She reminded him of his sister? "Clea doesn't think she can stand back up, can Lutz help?" She was really tired, and felt like passing out any second. She looked at her new outfit, and sighed. "Clea's outfit changes when she teleorts so don't be surprised. She felt more self concious not that she was in her black tanktop and yellow bicycle shorts.
"Yea, I'll be right there Clea!" he yelled over to her. Lutz noticed that Clea had changed clothes when she teleported and quickly checker her out before he began running toward the fountain she was near. He could tell the fountain wasn’t that far so he should get there fast.
Lutz got to her pretty quickly, since he had always been good at running. as soon as he got to her he quickly helped her up and couldn’t help himself he hugged her lightly then backed off, his cheeks a little reddened. "You ok now Clea?" He was smiling as he said this with the slight blush still showing on his face.

"Yeah, Clea's okay." Clea looked down at her leg and saw a wound had opened up on the side of her knee. Looking at the fountain, she saw a leaf floating in the center of the water. Sighing, she crossed her arms and shook her head.
Then, she noticed the slight change in Lutz's face. "Is Lutz okay? HIs face looks a little red." She squinted and peered closer. "Lutz is okay right?"
