The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Koga's face was still an amazing rainbow that had nothing to do with his ability to blend in but the fact that he was still recovering froma crime fighting adventure gone very wrong. someone ended up dead and he didn't do the killing but certainly had something to do with the pre murder violence. He hadn't lived there a week when he decided that he could handled himself enough to take out some muggers and other petty thugs. thefirst night had gone great, He had stopped a woman from being mugged or worse and then she returned with an officer to arrest the man. however after that he met a bandaged guy that controled clothe and his nasty banages well lon story short he was the only one to leave completely in tact.
The school went balistic when the police showed up and looking for a colorchanging mutant involved in some street violence. they of course defended him until they could get the cops out of the way and then reprimanded him severly. He then was set up with a regimnt of chores and duties and was told that if he wanted to fight crime he had to stick to misdemeanors. He tried cleaning graphiti up but it didn't last long as it was tearing up the benches while it made them less offesive...soon they would be hearing from the city if he could get a permit to fix up the park. Shin-kun went with him and helped, he was acting as a mentor or big brother of sorts to keep him out of trouble....he really wasn't a trouble maker.
Lastly he was told that he was going to learn how to better use his abilities and skills and also a formal form of fighting.
He waited in the dangerroom after requesting that the tempature be turned up to something more comfortable. after that was acomplished he stripped down to a pair of pants that belonged to a karate uniform and a pair of large wrist warmers. he wasn't sure who he would be training with or how hard but he was happy to have this to focus on.

Yawning slightly as he walked into the danger room with no shoes, basketball shorts and a loose fitting shirt that had a band “Kiss” on it. Scratching the back of his head from just wakening up he looked at the kid who he would be training with today. He had just woken up not to long ago seeing as he had another late night of so called ‘heroics’ two attempted robberies and one suicide attempt. Sam hated the talk downs that took ‘oh so long’ when it came to suicides. The only time he liked the talk downs when he could use his degrading pep talk, chalk full of “Quitter” and “Taking the easy way out”. The fact of the matter was Sam was on a hot streak not losing anyone yet with those talks.
As he got closer to the center of the room Sam realized whom he would be training. Sam never met the kid but there were a few rumors going around the school about him and from his colorful disposition the kid looked happy to be here. That or so scared he didn’t know what color he should be, either way the kid was going to get a meet and greet with Sam.
As Sam got closer he felt his body starting to wake up and with that Sam gave off the presences of being super alert. Bending over and extending his hand Sam smiled to the kid and said, “And you must be Koga,“ grinning as he looked into the kids reptile like eyes and continued, “heard quite a bit about you,” laughing as recited all he heard, “had a first interesting night I would pump the breaks when it comes to Kat there are some her that are a tad protective of her.” Sam examined Koga a little closer to see cuts and bruises, “then there is word that you have a hero complex, and judging from a few of your markings it makes me wonder…” Sam grinned a little more and turned around and took a few steps away from Koga and then turned around to face him.
“But what I hear from Shin is you’re not to bad of a kid…” Sam sighed as he sat down on the ground and started to stretch, “Before we start with your training I figured we could start with a little stretching and a story…” reaching over to his left side and grabbing his foot and holding the position Sam asked, “Why don’t you tell me what rumors of those are true and which ones aren’t then you can tell me how you got those cuts and bruises.” He leaned up then to the right, “and there is no need to lie I just need to know what to teach you if you have a tendency to get into trouble.”
The guy training him was wearing a kiss shirt…he looked rumpled as if he just woke up, but that changed after a moment he shook and then he was awake. He was cocky, He enjoyed being himself and it showed. He wouldn’t make an absolute judgment on the man of course but first impression were key to knowing someone.
“And you must be Koga,“
Koga nodded and was about to ask the man’s name when he continued on. He shook Cs’s hand and then his eye widened at the inherent chill in them, After shaking his hand he casually rubbed them together, Warming them as quickly as possible with out looking insane or being offensive.
“heard quite a bit about you,”
Koga let out a slight sigh, that couldn’t be good. He a honor role student, that had never missed a school day in his life had managed to with in no time at all get a rep for being a bad boy at this school.
“Had a first interesting night I would pump the breaks when it comes to Kat there are some her that are a tad protective of her.”
He nodded again knowingly, he almost got eaten by a tiger. Simply letting the man say his piece if this was a lecture he could hardly say it was undeserved.
“then there is word that you have a hero complex, and judging from a few of your markings it makes me wonder…”
He nodded again at the assuming assessment and then laughed half a laugh at the second part.
“But what I hear from Shin is you’re not to bad of a kid…”
He smiled broadly at that, atleast Shin-Kun was spreading the good word that He wasn’t the hellion that he had painted himself to be.
“Before we start with your training I figured we could start with a little stretching and a story…”
“Why don’t you tell me what rumors of those are true and which ones aren’t then you can tell me how you got those cuts and bruises.” “And there is no need to lie I just need to know what to teach you if you have a tendency to get into trouble.”
Koga rose to his feet an began to stretch as well if cs was getting ready then so would he, bending over with his but toward the wall he went flat against his legs and could easily touch his toes, he put his arms out and walked them up and back wards to get limber.
“Well sssir, Firssst of all, I don’t lie, whether I need to or not. Before I tell you all about me, could I asssk your name?” He then continued on. “I didn’t realize I would be telling the ssstory but sssince I am, I’d like to ssstart at the beginning.”
And so he began to vent, something he needed to do, He had planned on venting through training
“One night I went to bed, Jussst the sssame asss alwaysss pale sssskin, dark brown, human eyes, black hair, ssstudied until I fell assssleep exhausted from my fully ssscheduled day. My parentsss caringly moved me from my desssk to my bed, tucked me in, the next morning I wake to my father ssscreaming, my mother weeping sssilently in the background and a police officer with a disssgusted leer poking me awake with a baton. I look at him first and he gets this look on his face like I am the worst thing he has ever seen and he pokes me harder. Even though I am already awake. “ My father is yelling about disssgrace and phrases that I ssshall never repeat to anyone. The police officer encouraged by my father’sss bigoted rant, Pokesss me Harder again. There isss no way he underssstood the japanessse but the hate rang through loud and clear.
“Sssomehow my father’sss hypocrisssy woke a rage in my body and it sssimply resssponded. The officer poked me again and I was climbing on the wall, the ceiling, I dropped on him and choked him til he passssed out. I hisssssed at my father and he ran, he thought I would attack him. I then grabbed the mosssst important thingsss to me threw them in a bag and ran away, I don’t like running away, but mutant or not I just attacked an officier. I climbed out the window. From there I ran away, thisss wasss all in peeksssskill New York by the way. ”
He spoke in a tone that was empty, much more empty than a child or even an angsty teen should be able to accomplish. He changed the way he was stretching moving now to his sides pointing one arm to the sky and leaning in the direction.
(hope you don't mind the double post, just thought it was a whoooole lot to say in one post also I was on a role and wanted to make it so you could start the training or take it where you want to)
“From there I am walking down the road and sssome gang bangersss jump me, theywent easy on me but I didn’t realize that til later, they steal my zune, call me names and throw me in the trunk of their car. They drive me half way to New York city and let me out. They then explain that one of them have a sssissster her and they had to make it look good to sssave their rep. they gave my zune back and They let me in the car and droped me off at the gate and took off. The irony that the copsss attacked me and the gang membersss helped me out isssn’t lossst on me. I was freezing from the ride in the trunk, And was ssstill cold from the ride when we arrived that night, I buzzed at the gate but no one came. I knocked on the door but no one came.”
“So I decided that the first room’s window I came to that was ulocked I would sneak in and sleep under the bed. I was desssperate, I thought I wasss dying.” He stopped stetching for a moment. And looked at Sam earnestly. “ believe me in hind ssssight I realize how foolisssh the decisssion wasss.”
“I find Kat’sss window unlocked and the room uninhabited, I didn’t think to notice that it was a girls room only that I would be warm. Oh! It makesss more sssenssse if I tell you, my body isss now cold blooded if I sssstay cold too long I feel like I am going to passs out. Its not pleasssant. I didn’t know what was going on only that I had to get warm.”
“I get under Katrina’sss bed and am falling asssleep, then ssshe comesss in and looksss for sssomething under her bed. She flipsss out but I calm her down and introduce myssself, ssshe was incredible…ly understanding.” He slipped up while thinking about her that first night, He laughed slightly his first memory of her is and always will be her arm getting closer to him. “ Sooo ssshe tries to get me to sssleep On her bed and her on the floor and I insssit of courssse that she take her bed and that I will take the floor.”
He flushed and looked down.“Ssshe needed to and wasss ssstudying for a geography tessst, I know geography and sssso I offered to help her ssstudy. We ssstudied until we both fell assssleeep on the bed. We were exhaussssted from long days and neither of usss intended for it to go that way. It wasss abssssolutely innocent, I promissse.”
“next morning her cat wakesss us up, yellsss at me and then turnssss into a tiger and would have killed me if it wassssn’t for katrina.”
“Sssso rumor one, yeah very intresssting firssst night here, But there are no breakssss to pussssh, We are jussst friendsss.” The second part had a tinge of disappointment. “And yeah ssshe has more guysss looking after her then I can count and mosssst of them are muantsss.Who are trained and experienced with their abilitiesss. I will tread sssoftly at the very leassst, I am a gentleman by nature anyhow.” Shy, he was absolutely a recluse when it came to females.
“Rumor two isss a ssstory jussst asss long if not longer but I will sssum it up, ssso we can get on with it I guessss. I decided that with power comes responsibility and that I sssshould do my part. I could handle a measly human criminal right?” he shook his head in exasperation. “ ssso I sssneak out catch I ride to the city and before I know it I am owning a would be mugger or rapisssst. I put him in a sssimilar hold asss that policeman and knocked him out. The lady got a five-o and they took care of him, I took off. “
“ I bandaged guy ssstopssss me and tellsss me to ssstay out of hisss part of the city. I don’t. I come back the next night and he isss waiting for me. He isss a mutant and wantsss me to go away for good. Sssso doess the mugger, the three of us ssscrap. The mugger ssshootsss the mummy guy and killssss him.”
“ I wasss at fault. He shouldn’t be dead.”
“ I kicked the mugger in the face and knocked him out again. I call the police from the nearessst payphone and sssend for help and take off again.”
He clenched and unclenched his fists. “Sssso Hero complex is wiped clean out of my brain. I can help, but I don’t want people to die from it, I wasssn’t going to kill him. But that doesssn’t make him any more alive now doesss it? The bruises are mosstly from the mugger guy he punched me a lot the firssst night when I was chocking him out. The cutsss are from the mummy guysss bandages he could control them like sssnakesss. I got it all cleaned up by the doc, he sssaysss other then that the time healing will ssserve a good lesson to me.” He looked up and shrugged slightly.
He looked up and waited for the judgment to fall in Sam’s eyes, for the disinterest to set in. The disapproval. The outrage at his actions. The outrage at the man’s death…he had it coming.

The kid wanted a name, “Sam, they call me CS sometimes as well…” Sam fell silent and continued to stretch as he gazed upon the young boy who was telling the story. Listening intently Sam did not interrupt or make a judgment call on how Koga acted only after the story Sam would say his piece before they would start. Once Koga got to the part about Katrina’s bedroom Sam’s attention shifted a little more to the description of the cat/tiger ‘Calley no doubt’ thought Sam as the kid blushed slightly.
If he or anyone else thought something happened between the two there would be no way Koga would be here explaining everything to him now. Sam might not have done anything but scold them but some of the other mutant friends that Kat had weren’t above killing. Speaking of that he would have to ask Katrina how she did make all those interesting friends without a scratch on her, Geo in particular.
Once Koga finished up telling his story and recounting how he got the cuts and bruises Sam nodded and stood up having finished the stretching. Gazing upon Koga and sizing the young teenager up Sam said, “Well you know what happens when helping people can go wrong, saves me the trouble of teaching you that lesson, no matter how good your intentions are someone always gets hurt…” smiling slightly and putting his hand on Koga’s shoulder as Sam walked to the dead center of the danger room and said, “It’s fantastic you want to help people with your gifts Koga, it really is. There are two few in the world like us.”
Looking up at the god room located above them Sam said, “Computer, Sam’s scenario 001…” Sam waited for the Danger Room to change. Lights around them flashed brightly as the room transformed into a run down street that was located in NYC, cars were on bricks boxes and papers full of garbage and small animals littered the streets and last but not least four men walking towards them. None were armed yet but guns were clearly visible on their person. Sam looked to Koga and said, “This is just training, the men are equipped with rubber pellets but they leave nasty welts if your hit.”
Walking over to the four ‘Thugs’ Sam turned his back to them and faced Koga, “These will be our partners for today, the first thing I want to see is how you handle yourself in a fight, being the size that you are there are going to be people bigger and stronger than you,” slapping the closest thug on the back the thug moved forward and faced Koga, “The average American doesn’t know how to fight, they flail about hoping to hit there target, you on the other hand will be different, because of your size your going to have to know what your doing.”
Walking back towards Koga a smile showed on Sam’s face as he looked at the kid, “It’s good that you want to help people and there is no reason you should have to stop, but what is wrong is that someone lost a life in the situation. I want you to remember it isn’t your fault.” Sam smiled and pointed to the tall and husky man and said, “he won’t start until you throw the first punch, if you can try to take him down to the ground as gently as possible.”
Stepping away from Koga and the ‘thug’ Sam waited to see what Koga could do. Sam wanted to see what the child was capable of, that included strength, balance, speed, form, intelligence, creativity and of course the most important thing, a proper guard.
Koga nodded even as his eyes widened if he had blinked during that he would have been really freaked out, he as it was, was feeling a bit of vertigo at the immediate change of scenery. “And all of thisss isss a hologram? But I can feel it. And itsss not here. Weird. ” He walked toward one of the walls that “was not” actually there and pressed up against it, that was a weird experience.
“ Can you get Halo on thisss thing?” It was obvious that he was still taking in the surroundings as he accessed the four men.
He nodded to all of this again accepting the size observation as truth instead of puffing up like most boys his age would have. Seeing the truth for what it was, was key when dealing with anything in life. And he was small so he would have to work harder.
Koga sighed slightly thinking again about the creep that he had a hard time feeling bad about him dying he ndded. And thought it to himself. It wasn’t his fault.
“well alright then, am I to assssume that I have a reassson to punch him?”
----
He then began to walk toward the man, “Sssir, if you could be so kind as to lay on the ground, I would appreciate it.”
The Hologram sneered and shook his head at Koga, he then did the cliché “bring it” hand sign of come here. From a woman in a bedroom it would be alluring from a thug in an alleyway it came off as overconfident.
Koga took off at a sprint that seemed to startle the hologram, which in the back of his mind struck him as funny. A startled hologram. Whoever programmed this was amazing and did so with such detail that he wouldn’t try to fight robots; He would treat it as a human and see how it went. He dived through the man’s legs and then spun to a stand behind the man. He then with both hands yanked on his pants making them fall to his ankles and then he pushed as hard as he could to topple him over. Even though technically his mission was fulfilled as the top heavy man fell to gravity. He dived for his right flank and swiped the gun. Out of his holster, He then bound away from him and landed in a crouch. “If you wouldn’t mind sssstaying there, it’d sssave me the trouble of putting you there again.”

Blinking Sam quickly corrected Koga as he moved a safe distance away from the kid and the hologram, “Just Sam is fine Koga, Start when you’re ready.” Blinking at the question Sam nodded slightly and said, “you could but it is a big disappointment, the game to play in here is Call of Duty or Medal of Honor!” letting out a small laugh Sam quickly added, “He stabbed someone and ran is that enough for you?” Sam asked curiously. Normally thugs dressed as these men were are either muggers or rapists, but because of the location Sam was under the impression that they were car thieves, if Sam was to go by the clothes and location from past experiences.
As the simulation started the first thing Sam noticed was the Koga walking to the thug. Not the best idea for some one who just stabbed some one. Standing in front of some one who just stabbed someone was asking for trouble, now if the thug had a hostage, things might be different, or if Sam was coming in from behind but Koga did start off in front of him so he figured he would just make a note of it later on.
The next thing Sam noticed was Koga’s speed, it was nowhere near Sara the cat girl’s speed but it was impressive for the kid’s age. From the looks of it Koga’s speed took the thug of guard and lost his stance. Sam then watched Koga proceeded to pants the thug and throw him on the ground.
Sam then blinked as the man started to turn around with a knife in hand, “They are smarter in real life Koga, when you get them down make sure they stay down, knockouts, tie them up what ever you can to get them to stay down, the faster they are down the safer everyone is.”
Watching as the man threw the knife at Koga and tried to get up Sam wondered what exactly Koga was doing holding the gun like he was. “If your not going to shoot Koga then dispose of the gun.” At this point Sam was yelling as he made a motion to one of the other thugs that were off to the side watching the fight, “Oh Thug A has a friend! What will you do Koga?” Sam wasn’t exactly how Koga would handle with Sam yelling at him or how he would handle a sudden change in the plans. After all this kind of fights is all about adapting to a situation and turning it into strength.
~~ “Just Sam is fine Koga, Start when you’re ready.” “you could but it is a big disappointment, the game to play in here is Call of Duty or Medal of Honor!”
“thossse are good too,Sam…?” that felt awkward to say to an elder.” but I prefer Sssscifi to Hisssstorical.
~~“He stabbed someone and ran is that enough for you?”
“Ssstabbing people for no reason is more than enough.”
~~“They are smarter in real life Koga, when you get them down make sure they stay down, knockouts, tie them up what ever you can to get them to stay down, the faster they are down the safer everyone is.”
“I beg to differ, all of them aren’t sssmarter, and You sssaid take him down Gentle as possible Ssssam, not take him out. If you don’t want gentle, ssssay ssso!” He yelled back the Adrenaline coursing through him taking over the need to be polite.
~~“If your not going to shoot Koga then dispose of the gun.” “Oh Thug A has a friend! What will you do Koga?”
Koga Nodded to the now Irate Cs. Calling out Orders to the already building chaos. Koga Pointed the Gun lower toward the ground in front of him and Fired off a round after Dropping the clip from the gun and throwing them in both in opposite directions. The thundering shot echoed off of the alley walls and caused both the thugs to shudder for a second. He now had the go ahead to be harsh and knock people out.
He juked Right towards the man with the nife and then Bounded to the left landing a Harsh kicking stomp on the mns soon unconscious head from there he kept up the momentum and ran toward the holographic wall and then up it. Thug B followed him toward it and then he launched himself away from the wall and preformed a full axel rotating him self so that his head was facing toward the sky and so that his legs were on the B’s shoulders, His ankles began to instinctively constrict. From there gravity did the rest. His weight pulled down and sent it toward B’s center flinging him forward and into the hollow graphic wall at a speed, Koga would manage on his own. He rolled to his feet and before Cs could command the next to into battle, He went after them with ferocity, He painted Kreiges face on every one of these punks and it was working to his advantage. He took off at a wall and a full sprint bringing him in line with the two men’s shoulders. He leapt once more planting two feet in the first man’s face and hooking an arm around the seconds neck, he secured a sleeper hold that left him hanging across the man’s back, He might take a bashing in the mean time. And he did as the thugs hammer like blows fell they got weaker and luckily he was at an odd angle. So they weren’t all that efficient. As the thug fell. He let go and then accessed his fallen foes. Only one the original one was even moving so He launched into a sprint again and applied another sleeper hold.
He looked up at Sam with the same Ferocity that had fell on the Hollothugs. “Isss thissss good enough Sssam?” he said as the A went limp. He responded quickly to a Dominant and demanding male figure, It was how his father got perfect grades and attendance from him and He was sure CS could sharpen him into a machine if so chose to with that tone, that seemed displeased. The best way to propel a perfectionist into doing anything was to tell him where he made a mistake.

Clapping his hands together a few times Sam grinned and said, “Very well done, hard to believe you’re just a kid.” Sam was still in somewhat of a shock that the kid could pull the moves that he did. Submission holds was defiantly what the kid would excel at. Thinking quickly about what to teach him first Sam remembered his first day fighting someone.
The someone happened to be his teacher, and that someone happened to kick Sam’s butt, under five seconds. Shrugging and making his way to Koga and a few of the thugs Sam decided the best way for a kid of his skill to learn is to learn by doing.
Walking closer to Koga and patting him on the back Sam said, “Good movement out there but one thing I did notice when you were charging them…” he paused for a second for effect as he walked over to one of the limp bodies and pulled a gun, “If he pulled it out when you were charging you could have been shot, but for your first time it was fantastic!” Sam said as he cocked the gun and pulled the trigger killing one of the holograms instantly after putting a bullet right to his head.
Looking to Koga as he pointed the gun at the other thug lying on the ground Sam asked, “What will you do now? I just killed some one.” Pulling the trigger once more Sam killed another hologram and then aimed it at Koga. “Better think fast, I am a cold blooded murder.” Sam said as straight-faced as was possible.
A certain feeling of nostalgia came over Sam as he was reminding himself of how he was taught as a kid, the only difference was instead of the gun that he was holding that shot rubber pellets that killed holograms he was shot at with real bullets.
~~“Very well done, hard to believe you’re just a kid.”
Koga shrugged modestly. “Itsss more inssstinct than anything elssse…” and it was, with a nudge from a logical sentient mind here and there the rest was a need to survive a confrontation. He was pretty sure that somewhere with the wall walking and the constricting and the changing colors, some where in his head a switch got flipped that moved him from a happily civilized and content citizen to a person capable of predatory instinct.
~~“Good movement out there but one thing I did notice when you were charging them…”
“I guessss that’sss why itsss ssscenario one, And not more advanced?”
~~“If he pulled it out when you were charging you could have been shot, but for your first time it was fantastic!”
“Thanksss Sam.” Koga changed to a red version of himself as to not appear as though he were blushing from the compliment.
~~“What will you do now? I just killed some one.”
Koga was already moving again, running toward a wall and taking off his shirt.
~~ “Better think fast, I am a cold blooded murder.”
He laughed. He was actually cold blooded…perhaps that had something to do with the instinct.
He took five and a half steps up the wall and pulled the shirt open wide and repeated the leap toward his opponent. The Idea was to get the shirt over Sam’s head and after it got there to twist and spin and yank and pull and twist him up for long enough until he could get hold of a fire arm and shoot him before he got shot. The rules change once someone gets shot, plain and simple. Being shot equaled out to being dead and when it boiled down to it, he already had to murders on his hand. He didn’t intend on being the third.

All it took was a blink one blink and the kid had already started running, and to Sam’s surprise the loss of a shirt. All Sam did was bend his knees slightly and follow Koga with the gun, at any point Sam could have shot, but didn’t Sam counted how many times he could have shot and how many times he could have hit Koga. It was close three shots could have gone off but if that one would have made the shot do to the fact that Koga kept moving up till the point he jumped.
Remaining motionless Sam didn’t put up any resistance to the twists and tugs that Koga deliver with his shirt the only thing Sam had done was put a small layer of ice around his neck so he couldn’t be choked out. Every time Koga twisted Sam moved following the twist, every time Koga pulled Sam felt him self get closer to Koga. The idea of this was either to have Koga run out of energy or force Koga to come up with a new strategy. All the while the gun remained firmly in Sam’s hand only to be raised on occasion to point at Koga.
After the third time he lifted the gun however instead of not letting it go back down Sam pulled the trigger firing the small quarter inch pellet into Koga’s side. From there Sam finally put a little resistance into the struggle. As Koga tried to pull a little more Sam charged Koga lifting him off the ground and then slamming him down onto the ground. “What will you do now?” Sam asked as he was on top of Koga.
With the way things were going Sam could easily see Koga becoming one of his ‘regular’ students. Not only did Koga do what exactly Sam asked for but he gave off the air of a perfectionist that went above and beyond what was asked of him. Koga reminded Sam of him as a kid.
“SSShIooot!” He exclaimed half cursing and half covering as his plan failed and he paid with what would be another welt in the colorful parade of bruises on him. He wasn’t done by any means, he wouldn’t call it off so long as it was training, he got the situation all to well, and this wasn’t something he would be able to simply call off. If he had hung onto the gun he had from the other guy he might have been able to shoot Cs, before he shot the second man on the ground. However that was not the Case.
~~“What will you do now?” CS was in a position to knock the tar out of him any old time, the bulk of his weight was on his upper body and pinning his arms, he had been doing pull ups, but at this stage in his life there was no amount of conditioning that would have him lifting Cs off of him from this point of leverage. His feet how ever were still very free and able to move. He reached with his toes over to a trash can that was to their right and got one then two of his toes firmly on it, from there it was time for action again, once he started moving he was going to have to follow through the whole way for it to do anything worth doing.
He pulled his foot in, the same toes that would hold him to a wall stuck to the can like glue, He pulled it up and toward Cs’s back and when it was close enough stuck the other foot under the bottom of it and smashed it into Cs’s back with what force he could muter.
“I am going to ssstruggle until, you finisssh thissss or I am free and do sssso.” He pulled the trash can back down and then slammed it into Sam with more force and urgency.

From Sam’s positioning Koga was in trouble if Sam decided to strike. However there were a few movements that Koga could have done but most people don’t know about them. The first thing he could have done was a grappling “bump” which was as simple as lifting his hips and pushing with his legs to push Sam forward. Instead of trying to get him off like that Sam felt a trashcan be forced onto his back. Making it throw Sam off balance only for Sam to sit back up but this time throwing up one of his elbows to block the next time the trashcan would come crashing to his back side.
“Until I finish this?” Sam asked as he felt the trashcan hit him again. “Look where I am sitting right now and look at your legs…” Sam pointed to Koga’s legs then to the trashcan, “Clever but it was a one shot deal, might I suggest a bump?” Sam didn’t lower his elbow what so ever, if Koga was going to ignore him during this lesson then Sam would pull the trigger on the gun ending this simulation, “Let go of the trashcan and place your feet down, once they are in position lift your hips and push with one knee into my backside, if you do it right my weight should be forced forward forcing me to catch my balance allowing you time to get out from under me. Because right now there isn’t a lot you can do.”
Normally Sam would have kept his mouth shut but Koga was doing so well he figured he would reward him with what Sam’s teacher used to refer to as “Teachers mercy”. Sam looked down at Koga waiting for the bump pulling the gun towards his chest if he didn’t bump the trashcan would just hit his elbow and then it would force the trigger to be tugged by his finger.
~~“might I suggest a bump “Let go of the trashcan and place your feet down, “
He was quick to accept advice, the same way he started moving when Cs shot the first thug, H began to follow through with the instruction. Koga placed his feet in a firm position using his toes for extra grip on the ground.
~~“once they are in position lift your hips and push with one knee into my backside, if you do it right my weight should be forced forward forcing me to catch my balance allowing you time to get out from under me. Because right now there isn’t a lot you can do.”
He paused only long enough to make sure that he was finished with his lesson and then preceded moving his knee into Sam’s back and watching the results. He would have to try it on someone who wasn’t suggesting it to see the natural results. He used his right knee to hopefully push him to his left. Typically people were right handed so there was a better chance that his left hand would be less apt.
The second he saw enough room to run he did so. He launched the trash can again at his teacher as he ran and then dived toward one of the fallen thugs. He groped for the gun and sprung and dove into another position he didn’t want to stay still until he had the safety off and was ready for a gun fight. And this ladies and gentleman was where playing ridiculous amounts of first person shooters pair off. He steadied his hand and took three plastic shots that would drill into Cs’s chest if he stayed still, He saved the rest of his bullets and was already moving behind one of the cars on blocks, it wouldn’t hold up against actual bullets but it was some cover, and it would hold up against plastic rounds.
“Reach for the sssky varmit.” He said from his position and then rolled two feet to his left and crawled under the car. And scanned for cs’s ankles if he was moving toward him, he would Achilles his tendons. There was great cover but limited options for movement, but if cs wanted him he would have to come get him… and a plastic round would suck at the distance he would have to be at to get a clean shot at this angle.

Growing up with a life he had not many things scare Sam and not many things amazed him. However in the short time they were training Sam had never been impressed with any student that had entered the danger room. Countless kids and the ‘trouble maker’ was the one with all the potential. It reminded Sam of one of those animation shows that he watched with Shin. All the delinquent needed was a teacher to help him find his way, even if Koga wasn’t the troublemaker everyone said he was if the kid needed a teacher Sam was more than happy to help the package of talent.
As he felt the bump in progress take hold Sam didn’t fight it as he leaned forward to catch himself from landing on his face. Both hands were brought forward as they typically would be in a normal street fight giving Koga enough time to escape. Not exactly ready for the trashcan Sam took it to his back as he kneeled up. Stumbling again Sam rolled and then used his legs and hands to push himself up.
Now standing up Sam froze slightly as he saw Koga pointing the gun at him. With a small grin he thought, ‘he even noticed the safety was on…’ he pulled the trigger as Sam quickly dove out of the way, a pellet graced Sam’s shorts as he tucked and rolled behind a mail box and hid himself there for a moment until he lifted himself on the side of the mailbox by ice. Now longer showing his feet he used small bits of ice to check in every direction for Koga.
Looking through one of the small pieces of ice that acted like a mirror Sam spotted Koga by a car the kid was smart, had a steady hiding place and a perfect location if Sam wasn’t used to being shot at he would have been spotted by now. Thinking Sam shrugged and closed his eyes and concentrated at a location behind Koga, lowering the air around it Sam created an ice golem and forced the creature to silently grab Koga by the foot, “Last rule of this scenario,” Sam said as he showed himself pulling away from the now frozen mailbox, “Always watch your back… you never know if they have friends.”
As the golem lifted Koga up Sam yelled, “Simulation 2!” the scenery changed from down town NYC to a dark hallway that lead into a poorly lit room. The golem shattered as it let Koga fall. Sam quickly ran next to Koga and whispered, “I got creative with this one, a cult of mutants kidnapped a young mutant girl, they plan on killing her after they do a ritual…”
Looking to the young mutant Sam said, “Our job is to stay hidden until we can save her…” pointing to a small hole where the girl could be seen on a lower level he said, “Look who does that look like?” the girl happened to be a look alike of Katrina he actually had set this simulation up for Fausto but never had a chance to use it. “You lead I follow, you make the calls Koga I do what you say, teamwork and smart decisions are key to save the girl.”
Grinning Sam looked from Koga and said, “Begin!” as he said it sounds of men chanting could be heard as a hologram of Kat yelled for help. Smells of burning incense and mildew filled the air, “So what’s the plan boss?”
