Character

Personality: Tythan is typically friendly. Though he can be somewhat withdrawn sometimes. He enjoys practical joking and playing sports despite his limited athletic ability. In training situations he is entirely serious almost to the point that it is humorous. He likes to try new things and doesn't mind making a fool out of himself. He is comfortable around small groups, however he prefers to avoid crowds.

Hobbies/ Interests: Occasionally playing sports, cooking, writing, reading, drawing, playing classical music....basically anything artistic...

Fears/ phobias/ concerns: Tythan is a mild claustrophobic especially when among crowds. He is concerned about the well-being of his family despite running away, and as such one of his greatest fears is that his family would die a brutal death. Another fear is of abandonment.
Special talents: Practical Joking. Tuning out others when he is deeply focused on something (writing, reading, drawing)

Mutation Description
Inanimate Object Merging and Control - Tythan is able to merge with inanimate objects and control them. When he does this, he completely disappears as he has become part of the object. While in a merged state, he still had complete consciousness, and all his senses, however he is unable to speak unless he inhabits something that can make noise (eg. a computer or radio...). He is also able to spread himself out across multiple objects as long as they are touching, however if they become seperated, he cannot extract himself from them without being severely or fatally wounded. Technically, he could spread himself out across an infinite number of objects, however with each object, he has less and less control over them and more of a chance of them being seperated. On the upside, the more objects he is merged with, the less of him is a part of each object such that if part of the chain was destroyed, it would have less of an impact upon his body.

Strengths: If he is alert, he can become a part of a weapon being used on him and use it against the wielder. He can appear to disappear from view, or infiltrate a place by becoming part of an inconspicuous object. Also, through the use of merging, he is able to phase through things in a two step process, first becoming part of an object on one side and then appearing on the other side.

Weaknesses: It is limited to specific objects. So he can not become part of the floor or the sky or a river or something as they encompass far more than a single object. However he could become part of a brick on the ground or in a wall. He is unable to use his ability to phase through something if the other side is block. For instance if there was a cabinet on the other side of the wall, he would have no room to reappear before merging again. If the object he is part of is destroyed or damaged, he will either be severely injured or, in the case of destruction, cease to exist. He is limited by the current state of the object he merges with. For instance, if he merges with a pencil lying on a table, he is unable to make it jump etc, but he is able to move the pencil by 'shifting it's weight'. On the other hand, if the object he merged with was flying through the air alread, he could control the direction of the flight as well as extend the duration of the flight.

Fighting Style (if applicable)

Explanation: Tythan prefers using medieval weapons (swords, staves, bows), and desires to train further in them. He generally does not like killing

After Further Training: He fights stealthily and nonchalantly, making it look easy while inflicting strong damage. He is also very 'proper' in his fighting e.g. not attacking an unarmed person in an armed fight, not attacking an unsuspecting person (he may sneak up on someone, but he wouldn't deal any damage until they knew he was there.)
Pros for fighting style: Gives him an advantage as many opponents don't know how to fight someone with swords.
Cons for fighting style: When it comes to guns, he has to rely upon his power. His 'chivalrous' way of fighting often ends up with some harsh reminders that he isn't in the 13th century. He could potentially develop many live enemies if he defeats them and leaves the alive.

History Of Your Character:
Tythans fathers name is Daryn and his mothers Reisha. He has a sister named Jasmine, and twin brothers Jake and Jack. His parents live in the same small town in which Tythan grew up and they own a family restaurant.
Jasmine lives there also and goes to school in another town. The twins have graduated and are going to the University of Lethbridge.

Overall, Tythan had a pretty normal childhood except for when he realized that he was able to merge with various objects. He was able to keep this quite though as he had relatively good control over it. He went to school and got reasonably high grades. He had lots of friends, though few of them were deep friendships.

Tythan left his family when he realized that he could not keep his power a secret any longer and realized he didn't have as much control over it as he had originally thought.

Sample RP:
It happened without any warning. He had just been sitting down at the table eating dinner like any other day. The conversation was droning on and his thoughts strayed to his mutation that he had kept a secret for so long. Then, suddenly, his mother screamed. He tried to ask what had happened, but couldn't speak, and his perspective was all funny. He was seeing from 2 different places than three, four. What was happening. Then he realized it. without knowing, he had become part of the table, his chair, his meal, and a piece of wood in the floor. His mother bumped the table as she stood up and began looking frantically everywhere. Things would have been fine except that his plate was knocked off of the table. Knowing what would happen if it hit the ground, he extracted himself from all four places. Reappearing before shocked faces. But why was he feeling so strange. He looked down at his side to see his shirt as a red mass. Then he collapsed.

A week later he returned home from the hospital, a four inch long scar the reminder of that incident. He still had hardly spoken to his family, and even then it had been about things such as the weather and school. When they arrived, he hurried up to his room and locked the door, he just was neither ready to explain, nor did he know how.

That morning, before everyone else was awake, he grabbed a back pack and filled it with everything he thought he would need. He wrote a note first explaining how he still loved his family, then explaining about his mutation and that he had to get somewhere where he could learn more about his powers. He stepped out the door and turned once more to gaze upon what had been his home for the last 15 years. He sighed, and tears hinted at his eyes, then he turned and walked away.
