“Why, whatever could you mean?” Shin replied, all angel halos and glitter. He flapped his little angel wings, taking flight to leave his body and her on the Earth below, so very much above it all, except… the uplifting music scratched to a halt as the record stopped and Shin came tumbling back down to land on the his knees. “I… may have some idea what you’re talking about after all.”

His voice and head sunk slightly, then he nodded in understanding, looking back upwards.

“So, yeah… guess we’ll do this one by the book, minus teachers. But you’d better not ask me what I did wrong.” A tight-lipped frown slipped onto his face, wibbled, wavered, then slipped away. “Oh fine, if you really want to know, just ask. It really doesn’t matter.”

“Why, whatever could you mean?” came Shin's reply, his face and voice innocent as an angel. Way too innocent. Alexandra frowned at him.
“I… may have some idea what you’re talking about after all.” he added in a defeated tone, looking down. His eyes turned back at Alexandra as he agreed with the no teachers part. Alexandra smiled and saw hope. So, not everything was lost.
He paused as a frown appeared on his face when he told her not to ask about what he did wrong, then it disappeared as he changed his mind.
Alexandra grinned at him. Well, there was a part of her that was curious about it and wanted to ask.
"You'll tell just if you want to, Shiny." she spoke, biting her lower lip.

“Okay, well…” He took on a boasting tone, jabbing his chest with his thumb and looking proud. “I used to do back-alley boxing matches for cash. Sometimes, there’d be disputes about some of the calls. That’s where things got fist-of-the-north-star messy.” He gave a one-two jab with a laugh. “So what about you? You ever steal a punch off a rushing idiot?”

He looked at her with a curious smile.

"Mhmmm...let's see..." Alexandra muttered with a pout. Probably Shin wouldn't react to kindly if she told him all the wrong things she did. Like killing.
"Nope." she finally said with a smile "But... I used to play tricks on people." she admitted "You should have seen the look on that guys face when I turned his ice cold water into boiling water." she snickered. "The whole cafe was laughing when he spit it right in his girlfriend's face." She shook her head and added. "Can't say I expected that but it was... priceless. And evil.".

“Heh, wait. Boiling water? Ouch. Was she alright?” Shin laughed. “One time, I replaced one person’s sunscreen with tooth paste. It’s not quite boiling water, but man did that burn!” Now she’d gotten him started. “Ooh, and the time I messed around in the shoe lockers at the dojo and put everyone’s sandals one locker down. That was priceless. They never suspected a thing!”

And that was enough badness for a while.

Alexandra laughed hearing Shin's 'wrong' deeds. "Yeah, yeah, she was fine!" she assured him, still laughing. Then she stopped and put on a serious face. "Can't say the same about him, though. The girl slapped him so hard that the entire cafe heard."
She started laughing again then playfully punched Shin in his shoulder. "Now, see, that's my boy. Now we only have to think who can we get into this game and what interesting dares we might give them."

“Yeah, definitely.” Shin agreed. “I’ll have to look at the class schedules and ask around. There are some people I know would be interested. As for dares… yeah, I have a few ideas.” A smirk slipped onto his face. Shin glanced at his watch. “I’ll have to get back to you on them, though. I’ve got to get to the dojo for training. The teacher’ll yell at me if I’m late again. See you around some time later, then?”

With a nod, Shin walked off down the hall. This truth or dare idea had promise. Now all that mattered was the when and how…

She watched Shin walking off down the hall and breathed releved. She looked at her camera, peacefully resting in her bag and sighed. 'Close... But not close enough.' she thought with a grin as she looked around to see if anyone was coming. No one. But still, maybe Shin was suspicious and was hidden behind a corner. Paranoic.
She snorted as she looked around, as if not knowing what door was leading to her room. "Now, where was that room?" she said in an even tone, picking a random door. Not her own, of course.
