The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

5:30 was usually the time when Leila stopped whatever stuff she was doing to fufil her stomach's needs. Today was no different. The Orderling was starving, but not for any kind of Dinner, nope, no Fish Sticks, no patatoes with gravy, nothing of that sort. Today, she was hungry for some French Toast and Bacon. Not to forget Omelettes. That's how she found herself in a small Fast Food joint, one that was very dirty and the service stunk. She was the only one in there too, apart from the drunken man in the corner, and the employees.
"Can I get the Breakfast Special?" she asked. The woman behinded the counter seemed discusted by Leila's smell. Sure, she'd been working all day at the Aquarium, but Dolphins and Fish food didn't smell that bad! She glared at the woman as she wen't over to prepare her food. Leila took a seat on the stools in front of the counter and waited. This was going to be a long evening, she could feel it.
The woman handed Leila her food, "Don't you take a shower?" she asked, Leila, feeling insulted, put her food down on the counter and punched the woman in the face. "Can't you make this place look a bit more suitable for Customers?" she asked, her eyes dark, her teeth clenched together. She took her food and walked away from the woman, dropping the money on the counter with a 'clunk'.
Cailyn was lost on a bad side of town. Well it wasn't that bad, it was just a bit riggidy. Scary looking people where everywhere hiding in alleys and stuff. She didn't know why she was there and all she got was scary thoughts of people thinking bad and sad things. It scared her and she wanted to go somewhere a bit more safe looking atleast.
She came across a small restuarant that had seemingly only a handfull of people in it.She skittered inside a bit scared and curious at the same time. She didn't know what to expect but there was one woman with fish on her mind. Lot's of fish. Fish where fun, weren't they. Atleast they where nice thoughts seeing as they where about fun fish, and food seemingly. Hungryness was on lots of peoples minds and seemingly it was no different in a restaurant (duh). She skittered the the corner and sat down at the table, making herself wooble back and fort to releave some stress and getting comfortable.

Leila stabbed at the French Toast aimlessly, thinking of the work she still had to do for her classes. She couldn't wait to graduate College, sure, she only had three classes a week, but with her work, and the Order, three classes was too much. The french toast on Leila's fork got closer to her mouth as her eyes trailed on a young woman, coming this way. She looked barely sixteen, give or take a year. What was she doing in this part of town? Sure, you could ask the same about Leila, but she'd just wanted a calm, odd place to eat... Where no one she knew would run into her.
The French toast touched her lips now, and her eyes were still on the young woman, who was actually taking a seat in front of Leila's table. She raised an eyebrow, swallowing the French Toast. "Hi?" she said, "Can I help you?" she hoped this didn't sound to unpolite, but either way, this girl had been slightly unpolite herself, not asking to join her first. Leila didn't mind though, at least the girl looked friendly. Leila glanced at the injured woman she'd punched earlier, her nose was bleeding... Now, that woman wasn't nice.
She turned her head and looked at the girl. She didn't even notice that someone was sitting at the table but sometimes that happened to Cailyn. "Hi" She said at a high pitched voice. After that she shook her head in a way that she ment that she couldn't help her. Nobody could technicly as nobody could get rid of those weird things going on in her mind. She woobled her body back and fort again as she looked around what was going on, not paying attention to the girl. She had no idea that most people would find that rude. She had no clue what she was doing here but it looked like a bit of a weird place. It was a bit dirty and weird that people wanted to come here, but everything was better then being outside with scary people thinking weird things. "What is that?" she suddenly asked the girl pointing to the french toast and omelettes. She never saw that before.

Leila smiled warily at the blonde girl. She had a cute voice, sort of high, sounding as if she was a bit shy. She definitaly looked a bit shy too. Hmm, interesting. Lrila took a second bite of her meal, and looked back at the girl before her. She was about to dig in her Omelette, when the girl spoke again, surprising Leila slightly. "Um, that's Omelettes, French Toast and Bacon." she said, wondering if the girl had ever gone out at all in her life. Who didn't know what this was?
Well, sure maybe some didn't know about French Toast, but Omelettes? Bacon? "I'm Leila by the way, it's... nice to meet you." she said, holding out her fork-free hand, hoping the girl wouldn't shy away from it. She really did feel a bit curious as to how this girl had gotten here, and why she looked so... so... uneasy? disturbed? She didn't know how to put it.
Weird names for weird ways of preparing food where thrown at hymn. She tilted her head while she looked at the food. It was weird but then again most things where weird for her.
"I'm Leila by the way, it's... nice to meet you."
The girl tried to introduce herself to Cailyn. She mostly shyed away from people doing that. She raised her hand like leila did not touching it. She didn't know that shaking hands was normal so she just imitated her but not touching her. "Hello Leila." She said. " They call me Cailyn.' She responded. It would probably be very akward for the both of them but then again, Cailyn was involved.

Leila grinned awkwardly at the young woman, who seemed rather shy. As the two looked at each other from opposite sides of the table, Leila couldn't help but wonder if she was a Mutant or not. She was pretty good at telling who was and who wasn't, and this time, she was almost certain of her guess.
The blonde girl seemed oddly shy, and slightly... disturbed? Leila didn't think she was just terribly shy, something else seemed to be causing this lack of conversation. The way she looked at the food for starters.
Leila put her hand down, seeing Cailyn wasn't about to shake it. "That's a nice name, do you have any money on you? If not, I could buy you some food." she said, feeling it was a bit imploite to be eating in front of someone like this, someone who didn't also have some food.
Money.... the thing people used to purchase certain objects that are needed in everyday life. It was something that Cailyn never fully grasped over. The obtaining and trading of money was something she never really experienced for herself. But non of that mattered seeing as Leila had money to spend on food for her. The question was weither she was hungry or not.
She looked at leila and thought. "I am not hungry, thank you." She said. It was true, that and thrust issues. She gazed outside some more to look for scary people with scary thoughts. Not much could be scene but allot could be heard. Cailyn regretted that she didn't bring her mask. She was a bit scared about it all but atleast in a restaurant she was safe... was she ?

Leila smiled, "Okay then," she said to Cailyn. She quickly took a few more bites out of her meal, before glancing out the window as well. She fallowed a group of men that were coming inside, the four of them dressed in black. They looked like they were up to no good, and Leila was a little suspicious. They came up to the counter, and as Leila suspected, they all took a small gun out of their pocket. Leila used her enhanced hearing to listen to the conversation between them and the woman she'd punched earlier.
"You will do as we say, or else everyone in the Restaurant dies." the tallest, toughest looking man said. Leila remembered a few months back, when she'd first met Sam. A group of armed men had come in the Café, and now the same scenerio was playing out again. She sure didn't have Sam with her to stop them this time. Leila glanced back at Cailyn, "I'll be right back, okay?" she said. Slowly, Leila got to her feet and started walking towards the counter, making sure the men did not hear her coming.
And then the evil men arrived with their thoughts impure. They came and tried to rob the store or something like that seeing as they started to threaten people. Cailyn didn't know what to do, she was trying to get away from those people but seemingly they kept following her all the way.
"I'll be right back, okay?"
She saw the woman standing up and sneaking to the robbers. Was she a super hero of some sort who was going to take down the robbers. She heard the thoughts of the robbers harder then the thoughts of the others and one of them noticed Leila seemingly. "Look out!." She yelled , trying to take atention away from Leila and on to her. Not that it was a good idea but it was the best that she could come up with.

Leila heard Cailyn's warning without problems, actually, it kind of made her ears hurt. She'd been concentrating already, so loud noises really did hurt. She dodged the man's punch, but then the three others knew she was there, and aimed their guns at her head instead. Leila sighed, "I hate getting into trouble like this," she said, "And quite frankly, I had quite a lot of trouble these days. So please, make this easier on yourselves and leave." she gave them a evil grin, and then, knowing they wouldn't expect it, she aimed a hard kick at the leader's face.
His gun dropped, and the others were stunned into place. She could tell by the looks of it, that their guns were empty. "What? You didn't think a girl could get a grown man on the ground?" she laughed softly, kicking the fallen leader in the ribs. The three men seemed afraid of her now as she approached them. Even the Cashier lady didn't look to brave. Why did humans always have to be so afraid of them? They probably didn't even know she was a Mutant anyway. She hadn't really used any abilities that could be noticable.
"I suggest you leave," she told them, but when they didn't move she lost her patience. "Oh well, I gave you a fair warning." she muttered, and then, in a matter of seconds -- 13 to be exact, the three other men were all on the floor. Leila wiped the blood off her hands as she looked at the unconsious men, "What are you looking at?" she asked the cashier lady with a fake smile. "Never seen anyone kick three men's asses in so little time like that?" she laughed.
With a kick and a punch the woman named Leila showed that she was a formidale opponent to the 3 invaders. It was kind of like watching tv with a superhero coming to the resque and kicked the wind out of the badguys. She was about to cheer her on but decided not to seeing as bad men could probably go after her or something. Atleast that is how her logic went.
When the badguys left she was like wow looking at leila. She was good at fighting and knew what she was doing, the exact opposite of herself. This made her very shy but she admired what Leila was. Atleast she knew that she was a mutant as she got fish on her mind and body.... ow wait, dolphins are mammals. Not that she knew the differense. She remained seated at the table since she didn't know what to do. Running away would be silly and not nice, but staying could result into bad things if Leila would turn on her, if she would ever.

Leila smiled as the men left in a haste. She flipped her hair back, wishing there could have been more people around to witness what she'd done. A little bit of press wouldn't hurt, would it? If she was going to be known as a 'villain' for the rest of her life, she should try and at least get a good reputation, so no one would ever believe it if others would go and say she was indeed bad.
I mean come on, a girl that saves a restaurant from being robbed was so nice! Sure... the way she'd nearly killled them wasn't... but who cares. Dead or alive, no one would ever know as there was no witnesses apart from the cashier lady (Who probably would be to scared to spill), a drunken men in the corner... and this lady over here. Cailyn.
If caylin was as shy as she seemed here, Leila was sure she wouldn't go gossiping around. She smiled a soft, recomforting smile as she joined her new blond friend. "So, do you feel like getting out of here?" she asked friendlily.
With big eyes she nodded. Surely she wanted to get out of there. Voices spooked her head telling her what people thought. The other people where all thinking a similair thought but in different variantions. Where they safe and what was the woman. Surely she wasn't a police officer. Police officers wouldn't play things like she did.
She got up, patted her pants of as if they where dirty and she was ready to leave this smelly place. She slowly walked to the door a bit paraniod, looking around at other people that where staring at her and Leila. If there was ever a more akward moment then this it would need a award for. Once at the door she opened it up and felt the cold air against her face. Safety would surely be needed after something like this and she was going straight home for it..... this time.

Leila fallowed Cailyn out of the door, glaring at the people who stared back at them. 'Geez, it was only to do a bit of good. Next time, I'll let them rob the place.' she thought with a frown as the fresh winter air made her hair fly around her face. The sky had darkened, and the blonde could tell Cailyn was a bit scared now. "Well, it was nice to meet you kid." she said in a whisper, patting the girl on the shoulder.
She turned around without a second glance, hopefully Cailyn here wasn't so terrified of her. She was a cute kid, and as Leila walked on, further from Cailyn, further from the Restaurant, she couldn't help but snicker at the scene. She'd actually acted like a hero today, something Order members shouldn't normally do. Then, she'd gotten odd looks, what did humans want?
((Hopefully you don't mind me finishing off here.)
