The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Geo whipped a drop of sweat from his forehead. He was on a scooter under his yellow mustang. He wore no shirt and his chest was littered with smudges of grease as were his blue jeans that were cut at the knees. He rolled out from under the car and sat up, exhaling deeply and inhaling the fume free air. He looked around the garage at the sanctuary and thought of what he should do now that his car was tuned up.
He stood and jammed his hand into his pocket retrieving his cell phone. He flipped through the contacts, leaning against the car, searching for someone to go out with tonight. It wasn't to long before he came across a name that brought a smile to his face. 'Arielle'. He lingered for a moment debating whether to text her or call her, figuring that a call was more personal he hit the 'send' button on his phone. Geo held the phone to his ear listening as the dial tone sounded off.
Arielle laid snugly in her bed, buried under her comforter. After having a nice 2 hour danger room session and a warm shower afterward, Arielle really didn't have any intentions of going out tonight and waited to fall asleep. The quiet of her room was disturbed by the sudden ringing and vibration of her cell phone sitting on her night stand. She lifted her comforter and grabbed the phone. Her lips curled into a smirk when she read the caller ID. It had been a week since she had last spoken to Geo after all, so she gladly opened it.
"Well, well well.." she spoke into the mouth piece. "Whats going on? I was beginning to think you threw my number away." she laughed. "Please state the reason for your call."
Geo grinned when a seductive voice sounded in his receiver. He could hear her surprise in the tone of her voice. "Oh i did, it just happened to fall out of the trash when I was taking it out this morning," He joked, he stood and began walking from the garage towards the sanctuary's dorm.
"As for my reason for calling I was wondering if I could take you up on the movie offer." His grin widened as he continued to speak.
"That is if your big strong boyfriend wouldn't mind you going out tonight with a stranger." The grin could almost be heard in his voice as he walked into his room and flicked on the light.
"Ah yeah..." Arielle sighed hearing Geo request to go to the movies. "I mean, I wasn't really thinking about going out tonight. I'm in bed right now as I'm speaking to you." she said.
"And I'm sure Aiden wouldn't care if I were to go see a movie with a friend. He's been out of town for quite some time on business anyway, so I'm sure he'd understand the need for me to get out and have a life instead of just waiting around for him to return. With that said, I suppose I could take you up on your offer. I'll get dressed, just call when you're here. Kay?"
Geo frowned as Arie said that she was already in bed, he had looked forward to seeing her again but he supposed he could call another girl. His dismay was quickly swept away as she agreed and that her boyfriend was out of town. Bingo! "Sounds like a plan Arie, I should be there within the hour." He then flipped his phone shut and grabbed a towel off of his bed and headed for the shower.
Dressed and ready to go Geo walked into the garage. He wore a tight black dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbow and the top two buttons undone, a pair of dark blue jeans and black and read sneakers, a light smell of cologne radiated from his body. A bit over kill for a movie date but Geo liked to make an impression. He stood in the center of the garage looking between 'Bonecracker' and 'Hellbeast'. He decided that the car would be the best decision and climbed into the driver seat. Examining his hair in the mirror briefly he started the engine and raced out of the garage, to fast as always.
He pulled into the mansion drive minutes later, pulling up close to the front door. Geo killed the engine and looked around the mansion sighing deeply. He refrained memories from coming back as he flipped open his phone and called Arielle briefly - hanging up before she answered - to show her he was there. He then took several steps up the front stairs before sitting on the cement steps and waited for Arielle to appear.
Shorty after she got off the phone with Geo, Arielle crawled out of bed. Although she had already taken a shower earlier, she took another short one and gathered her attire for the evening. A white tube top that bared her midriff, low rise black jeans, black boots, and a black zip up hoody. Her big silver hoop earrings, her silver bracelet and of course around her neck was the silver chain with a diamond that Aiden had given her. Tossing her hair in a pony tail, Arielle settled for the casual street princess look, though when she reached Geo's car and climbed in the passenger seat, she was fairly surprised by his get up.
"Well, you look nice. I didn't know you got so dressed up to go to the movies..." she said fastening her seat belt. "I'm like way under...dressed..." she paused between her words catching the scent of Geo's cologne, which was almost over kill compared to her aroma of her milk and honey body wash.
"I guess. It's not a crime to rock what you've got, especially when you look like us. Go, on rock boy. Pedal to the metal," Arielle smirked taking out her shades and placing them over her eyes.
Geo smiled as the beautiful Brazilian princess climbed into his car and commented his attire. "I try," He simply said before peeling out of the mansion driveway and shooting down the street. He laughed when Arielle put on her seat belt, he always thought them to be rather useless. "Speaking of looking good, you seem to be strutting your stuff tonight." He said, examining Arielle out of the corner of his eye.
The yellow mustang sped down the road much faster then the legal speed limit but any kind of traffic didn't seem to phase Geo, he just simple weaved out of the way, much like he would on his motorcycle only there was no fear generated by the maneuver. "So what do you want to see?" He asked, eyes leaving the road to watch Arielle.
"Ha," Arielle laughed at Geo's comment about her strutting her stuff. "I'm not doing anything. These are just the same old things I wear everyday. I'm not the one who's all dressed for a night out on the town. Almost as if you were going on a date..." she said. Though her eyes were hidden behind her shades, she took a glance over at him and cracked a grin when he asked what movie she wanted to see.
"It doesn't really matter to me," she said tucking a few strands of hair behind her ear. "I don't really discriminate when it comes to movies. I'll watch whatever you want to."
Geo glanced down at his clothes briefly before flashing a smile at Arie and returning his gaze to the road. "What these old things, no these are my street clothes." He said with a sly grin. Ahead he could see a traffic jam, one of the most annoying things in this city. Obviously the rush of people heading home after work. Then he saw a way through and his sly smile changed to a mischievous one. "How do you feel about horror movies?" He asked yanking the wheel to the right and the yellow mustang shot down a thin alley. The g- force of the turn pinned Geo to his door.
"That is, if you don't scare easily." He let out a chuckle in his deep voice as the sped through the ally to the street parallel with the one they had been traveling on a few moments ago. Taking a left onto the clearer street he picked up speed almost leaving the ground on the overpass.
"Street clothes...right..." Arielle sighed beginning to thing that going out with Geo was a bad idea. He looked good. Pretty damn good. Not to mention that tension she felt between Geo and herself when they first met was back. Her eyes widened as he made a sharp turn into an alley and sped down it like a bat out of hell. She liked people who lived on edge...but jesus christ.
"You...might wanna be a little more careful while driving? I mean, I could avoid being hurt by turning into water, but I don't know about you. I rather you wouldn't risk your life like that. You only get one..." she said. She may have sounded a bit mommyish and lame, but when it came to the safety of friends, she was very serious.
"And yes, I love horror movies. As long as it's not PG-13. I hate PG-13 horror movies. They're lame and it bugs me that all their titles start with "The" " she frowned.
Geo frowned when Arie asked him to be more careful driving, he had never actually driven regularly. But despite his personal opinion and let up significantly on the gas, now moving at the speed of regular traffic. "Sorry..." Geo said sheepishly, he felt like he was in slow motion moving with regular traffic, everything was so much slower it was boring.
"I guess I'm just used to driving like that, but I've never crashed on accident, my father taught me how to drive when I was twelve so I'm overly comfortable on the road I guess." He turned on to the speedway and picked up the speed slightly because he wouldn't be making any life threatening maneuvers in the open space. "I agree, The Blob wasn't exactly a thrill ride. A monster you can get away from by walking, now where's the fun in that." He said with a slight chuckle in his voice.

"The Blob? Ha, I've never seen it, but I've heard of it," Arielle laughed at Geo's joke. "I was mainly talking about all those stupid ghost stories. I wish that little girl would crawl out my tv. She'd beat the beat down of her life, even though she's already dead." she chuckled.
"But who said we have to see a horror movie? I like comedies too. I love action movies. Martial arts and explosions are awesome. Sometimes I like to pretend I'm in it, kicking ass and taking names" she smirked, pounding her right fist into her left hand repeatedly and then blushed with a nervous chuckle.
"Errr, sorry. Sometimes I get really into it." she sighed and removing her shades and tucking them away into her hoodie pocket. "So...whats up?" she asked, having run out of things to say. "What you been up to since I last saw you?"
Geo could help but audibly laugh when Arie started punching her own hand. It was funny seeing a cute girl being tough. "Hey don't feel bad, I've been known to walk away from a kung fu movie feeling like i'm able to go all crouching tiger on the first person who looks at me wrong. And there's nothing like a good comedy, if you can't laugh you can't live." He slowed down to 'normal' speed as they turned off the freeway, the mall could be seen ahead in the distance. Geo was tempted to punch the gas peddle, missing the normal roar of the engine that came hand and hand.
"I've been fine, just working really. Trying to catch up on some mods for a few customers." He shrugged his shoulders, the Order hadn't been up to anything good lately. "So how about you, been hanging out with the other X-dweebs?" He teased.

"X-dweebs. That's cute..." Arielle sighed at Geo's nickname for the X-men. "I've been...okay." she said hesitantly. "I mean, everything has been alright. Just been doing my usual routine. Shopping. Working out. More shopping. My closet makes Bloomingdales look like the salvation army..."she chuckled, but that soon faded as she thought about how lonely she had been the past couple of weeks without Aiden around.
"Thank you for taking me out tonight, Geo. I really needed it." she said to him and turned to look out her passenger window, staring at her gloomy expression reflected on the glass.
Geo chuckled slightly as Arie's routine seemed to center around shopping. "Well this is the nicest thing i own to tell you the truth, I'm not really one to worry about style. A plain t-shirt and jeans and I'm set." He turned into the parking lot as Arielle thanked him for taking her out. [color-green]"Hey it's my pleasure, I think it's kind of a relief hanging out with a girl I don't have to constantly hit on, it's more...relaxed."[/color] He said searching for the last word as they drove through the parking garage, finding a spot right next to the theater entrance.
"Now that's parking karma." Geo said as he killed the engine to the car and popped open his door. As he climbed out he unbuttoned the black dress shirt, revealing a plain white t-shirt underneath, it looked more casual and maybe Arie wouldn't tease him about being to dressed up.
