The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"You really are an angel," Arielle whispered trying to make light of the situation, though in truth it was very grim. She could feel her body becoming colder and number as each second, more blood flowed from her wound. "I don't think I'm gonna make it...." she spoke, her breaths staggering and shortening, though she still looked up to the fire elemental and gave him a warm smile.
"I'm just sorry for bleeding all over you. Least you won't have to kill me for that..." were the words spoken from her mouth and the water elemental closed her eyes and then silence.

"Not quite. Though I do seem to get that a lot."
Arielle's words bothered him. Just a moment ago she was this overconfident, spunky young woman. And now she was just ready to give up because she got stabbed in the stomach. Nathan became irritated at the thought.
"Don't say that. You'll be fine. All I have to do is get you to DocProf and you'll be as right as rain." The flight took only a few minutes. Nathan landed as close as he could to the infirmary and quickly walked inside. He did not want to run for he feared what it would to Arielle's wound.
He began yelling orders to everyone as soon as he landed. The students near him where in shock by his sudden appearance and the bundle that he held in his arms. But luckily one student managed to follow his directions and go to DocProf.
As soon as he entered the infirmary, he set Arielle down on the nearest empty bed. DocProf was already there waiting thanks to the student that had rushed ahead of them.
"What happenned to her?"
"Does the specifics really matter? She was stabbed! Can you heal her?"

"That's what I do isn't it?" DocProf retorted, stepping to Arielle's body and placing his hands over the wound of her stomach. Almost immediately, the Doctor received the vision of Arielle's down fall. Aura's blade breaking through the flesh of her back and puncturing through the other side of the brazilian's torso.
"I see. It's a good thing you got her here as fast as you did. As of now, she's hanging on by a thread. Luckily her spine wasn't severed nor were any of her other vital organs. She can be saved." DocProf said and as he did so, the familiar golden light of his powers emitted from his hands, and the healing process on Arielle began. It only took a couple of minutes and after doing so, the DocProf turned back to Nathan.
"She will be fine now. The wounds have been healed and the internal bleeding cleaned up. However, I still recommend that she stays here for a bit to rest. I will be back to check in on her later. Feel free to look after her if you'd like." the good Doctor smiled placing a hand on Nathan's shoulder. "And maybe you should clean yourself up a bit as well," he said handing Nathan a towel to wipe the blood from his body before taking his leave.
Being saved from the grim reaper's grasp and her injury healed, Arielle was now able to breath comfortably now. She cracked open her eyes and turned her head slightly, and saw Nathan. "All hail the winged hero," she said with a weak smile. "I guess I'm in debt to you now. Thank you Nate. I literally owe you my life."

Students scattered as Seraph touched down, calling for someone to go get DocProf. Some were in shock, some just stood there. One ran off to get tell the doctor before his company arrived. As Shin walked the halls between classes, books under one arm, the student ran past him.
“Where’s the fire?”
“Someone’s been hurt. Nathan told me to go tell DocProf!!” The student shot back breathlessly.
“Who?”
“Dunno. Looked Brazilian. Well, I gotta run!” And as soon as he’d appeared he was off again, leaving Shin to scratch his head thinking.
“Brazilian, huh… oh dear.” His eyes narrowed as he turned, running back to his room to drop off his books. As soon as he’d done that, he was tearing through the halls towards the infirmary to check on just who...

The door to the infirmary swung open and Shin stumbled in. “Ari?!” He shouted out. “I’d heard you were—” The doctor raised a finger, quickly shushing him. “In… jured…” He finished weakly.
Nathan stood at Arielle’s side, and she was handing him a towel. There was blood on the floor, but she looked fine… just tired, he hoped. That was all.
