The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"I'll' be all right, just a bit tired" she said straightening her back and looking back to the woman. "It's why the strike was off, i was hoping to cut her spine in two, the preachy bag of water." She said shaking her head. She had missed and in reward she would likely engage the water bag in future combat, a blessing and an issue. The Girl's powers made her a hard target against aura because she could not directly effect her target, on the other hand she had enjoyed the fight greatly.
"The girl i met prior to joining the Order, but the other i did not know, but i had the feeling he was using me to see how well she could hold her own. She said after hearing the names, she made note of it but for now their were things of more interest. The woman complimented her on the fight, that was something she was unused to and so it took a moment to process. She was right, the wound from her blade had done a good amount of damage and it was possible, if wherever they were going was far, she would simply bleed to death.
"She wanted to be a hero, so i showed her what happens to every hero eventually, With any luck, she will bleed to death before any healers have the chance to lend aide." She said as the woman offered her hand, Aura took it, she could walk, she just needed some rest really."I can walk, Leila, though a ride back to sanctuary would be nice" she admitted with a thought to it. Had Arielle had the experience in combat she did, the girl would have most likely won. "It was fun though, had it not been for those human's she may have won" She admitted with a smile, the fact she may have lost the fight had crossed her mind as She walked towards the car.

Leila nodded, "Good." she said simply when Aura said she was just tired. Obviously she was, no teenage girl in their right mind wouldn't be after using that much power. Leila laughed, "Preachy?" she asked, a little bit of confusion in her tone. "She's nothing Preachy. As far as I'm concerned, she's the opposite, I saw the way she dresses, the way she acts around men." she hissed, though honestly, she had forgiven her for trying to seduce Sam. Though, she surely hadn't forgotten.
"Ah, well this explains a lot. Having already met her. Well, I think you're right about Nathan, as far as I could tell, he didn't seem to give a damn about Arielle, simply leaning against the tree, until I came along." she smirked. "I'll see what I get out of them at the Mansion later, I'll inform you if she ever plans on tracking you down for a re-match... That is, if she makes it out alive." she smiled again at the thought. Where had the memory of that Lake talk gone? The two had connected, Arielle seemed like Leila's bestest friend back there. Well, the work-Leila and Play-Leila weren't the same.
She would never think these things of Sam when she'd be off duty, but right now, if Sam would of been Nathan, she'd critisize him and make fun of him just like everyone else. This was how terrible the young blonde was. "Yeah, Baddies like us always get the last say." she whispered, pulling her wig on again as people started looking at them. She didn't bother with the hood though, and when Aura spoke again, she thought for a moment, wondering if she'd ever feel bad if Arielle didn't make it. Would she blame Aura?
She glared at a few on-lookers, and they quickly cringed away. "Stupid Humans." she said lamely, as two teenage boys on skate board actually wiped out at the sight of Leila's exposed blade, and her red eyes.
"When i first met her, she preached to me about why it was wrong to rob a gas station, so i started calling her preachy, mostly because it pisses her off" She admitted to the pettiness of the nickname she had given the water bag. "You would likely know better then i would since i have only known her in these two cases" She said looking at the other woman.
"Each time i see those x-men, it assures me more i made the right choice. A rematch with her would be interesting, though another order member maybe better suited to fight her, i would enjoy the chance to correct allowing her to leave alive" She said with a smile, as she wiped hair from her face. "I see, so you might kill her? She is strong, but lacks the experience to know how to use it properly, it would be good for her to be elimmated sooner then later" She said with a nod considering the idea.
"Humans are merely animals, much like livestock, lashing out like a cornered cat trying to evade being eaten" She said as she looked around at the onlookers, she wished she had the energy to kill these as well, but the first moron with a decent gun might actually hit her.
"Have you been with the order long?" She asked making conversation as they walked. Aura's barrier faded from sight, as she went, she would have to increase the amount of damage she could take, to make herself more useful.

Leila snorted, "She should definitely be in the X-Men then. Those bratty no-know-it-alls are in love with Humans, they don't understand what we do, and they'll seriously clutter your mind with stupid crap about them. Like... How they are equals to us. Yeah, right." she said, feeling as if she was taking things a bit to far out. She wasn't used to speaking exactly what was on her mind, and now that she was speaking it, it felt oddly exagurated. "But yeah, I would still call her a whore or something like that." she said. "It's way more embarassing then Preachy, that's for sure." she grinned.
"We both made the right choice. The X-Men are way to good to be, they should know Humans will hurt them, even kill them one of those days. It was lucky they managed to escape the Camps a few months back. I wasn't there at the time, with my powers being easily hidden from Humans, but I heard a lot about it." she informed Aura. She smiled at Aura. "I may end yp killing her, but I'm not betting on it. Right now, I'm playing the best friend act... It wouldn't be right if I came in with a knife unexpected and slit her throat now would it?" she said.
"Yeah, well I think Mutants are animals too, but we're like the Panthers, and them, they're the stinky little rats. They aren't strong, or worth saving, but they could make excellent food if ever we run out." she said, imagining her actually eating a Human. She would do it, but it didn't seem right in her mind. She could see her car now, and smiled the smile anyone who knew Leila would reconize. She was a bit tired too, with all this action.
"Not really, I joined around the end of November I think. So, basically two months, give or take. How about you? I'm not at the Sanctuary a lot, so I haven't met many people." she said, opening the passenger door for Aura. She walked around the front, and opened her own door, settling in comfortably before starting the engine. She slipped her weapon back in the bag sprawled on the back seat and turned to face Aura. "Ready6"
"Yes, a man named.... frosty no, Sam i think tried to get me to turn myself over to the humans, and with my record that would mean some time. Love of humans or not the X-men seem like a group of thugs" She said honestly, in her mind their ideas had been absurd. Humans and mutants, working together in peace? Nature did not work that way, only the strongest survived in the same environment with that species pushing the others under it.
"Put that way they sound almost like over loyal dogs, willing to follow their master despite the abuse. I heard of the camps though i never saw one" She said in response as she listened to the other girls words. One thing she enjoyed about this city, she seemed to find good looking girls wherever she went. "Yea i suppose that's true, might just blow your cover, if you tried that" She said with a laugh.
"Liked predator and prey? Yea i knew a girl, who would eat the humans my old team use to kill, she said most of the organs tasted rather bad, but seemed very fond of the heart, we use to try and leave them in tact for her, but i never tried human myself, but food is food and humans do breed in very large numbers" SHe said thinking, their were far more humans then any other species on the planet then any other animal. She had watched a human be eaten so imagining it was hardly an issue. Solkat had been a very pretty and very violent girl girl with some strange tastes, she also acted older then she looked.
"I just joined a few weeks ago, met with Isabel and Dragon King, I live there now, not many places rent to 15 year olds." she said shaking her head as she slipped into the car and closed the door behind her. "I'm ready, so if i'm not being rude, what can you do?" She asked curiously, interested now that she was around for more mutants then before. In the back of her mind her beaten in instincts wondered how well the woman would fare in combat. Still she seemed quite kind to her as had most at sanctuary, but Other then Dragon king, Leila was only the second order member she knew well.

Leila's expression darkened slightly at Aura's mention of Sam. "Did he now...?" she said, trying to sound casual, but a hint of interest lingered around in her tone. Sam knew Aura? She wondered if he was involved in some X-Men/Order buisness. What exactly did he do when he was out working for the X-Men? This new information made her slightly curious. "I know him, very well, for that matter." she said, this however, was as far as her acting skills could take her. Pretending not to be interested in Sam was hard, especially because they were a couple. But worst part is, this 'couple' thing wasn't fake. She loved him, she really did love him... A lot.
Leila nodded. "From what I heard, Mutants were forced to Register themseolves... And those who weren't, wen't to some Boot Camp sort of thing. I don't know much, but I'm sure they were tortured in some way." she said, loving the fact that she could be useful and inform a fellow Order Member about something this cool. Leila laughed softly, as Aura commented on her Knife comment. She thought for a while, it would be rather easy to come in the room with a knife. As long as Arielle was alone, she'd never really expect it... No one would know.
She shook the thoughts out, no one was killing anyone at the Mansion. Not yet anyway. "I never concidered eating the Humans." she said, slightly discusted. "I would more likely kill them and leave them to rott. Maybe wait until the police arrive in the shadows and see what their reaction will be." she said this casually, as if everyone spoke of killing like a hobby, or something like fishing. Well, killing Humans was sort of like hunting, why should it be ilegal? Hunting bears or deer wasn't ilegal. Humans weren't any different.
Leila didn't know Isabel or Dragon King. "Have you met Syn? She'd the Leader of the Team. I haven't met neither Isabel or Dragon King, but I have met Geo, somewhat." she said. She then said she was 15, that shocked her a bit. Leila had always imagined Order members to be at least 17-18. At least of age. Well, truthfully, Under-age kids was good, they would have a harder time getting in jail. She thought her next question over a little as they drove on the Freeway. What could she do now? Her Dolphin shape was changing dramatically, she felt a bit more Human whenever she shifted, and it was kind of awkward.
"I'm a Dolphin-shifter, though if you want to know something, I think the form is changing a bit. I start feeling a bit more Human then usual when I'm in my Dolphin form. Ever since I returned from a Mission in Australia, I started acting a bit more Human. Usually, I'd shy away from Humans whenever I was close to the border of the Ocean or a boat... But for the first time, I actually swam closer... Which was a bad idea." she explained.
"But apart from that, I have enhanced hearing and I can speak with Sea life." she said casually. "Your abilities are quite something, from what I could see out there." she added.
"Yea, and with a record like mine the police do not simply let you go, i tried to explain that to him" she said thinking back to the counter with Sam, Arrielle and brainstorm. She had been nervous in the city and she had ran because she was surrounded, and the police would be there soon. Her aura has she just proved could only take so much. "He seems like he could be dangerous as well" she went on considering what she had remembered of the mutant,
"Ah maybe thats why those humans chased us those years" she said as she heard the camps described. She did not know why her team had been chased, Miracle never answered the question when it was posed even by Solkat who always seemed to know far more then she should. Her own ability worked much lke a knife of sorts in it's blade form.
"I would not choose to eat human if i had another food source, It's just hard to imagine the meat tasting good, so yea im with you on that, still the actual combat and the kill is the fun part of it" She said admitting she enjoyed both parts. When in combat she felt alive, every thing else just began to dull after awhile.
"No i have met syn yet, though i wish to, i like to know the people i work for. Isabel said i have simmeler taste in decorating to her though, so i suppose that's at least something in common." She said as She told her she met Geo, a person Aura did not know. "Never met Geo though, so i suppose were on equal footing in regards of who we know." She said with a smile. "The Order seems a bit loosely organized which has it's advantages" She said going on, lisaning to the other girl.
"Powers can change?" She asked tilting her head, it was a concept she not thought about before. She had never seen it happen but she could find no reason why it could not. "Could it be your just growing more comfortable in the power from use?" She asked curiously. "I can see whare that could be a bad idea, you would not went to end up in a tuna can" She said jokingly.
"My aura hardens to take and deal damage, the range is limited, but i can form weapons from my hands or feet, still it weakens as it takes damage and so fights like that where i take alot of damage, i start bleeding and throwing up" She explained as they went. "Before this i was in the woods of Canada guarding a woman Named Miracle, humans would attack us frequently, we did well for two years, and then it was over, they were dead so i came back here, forged a few documents and got an apartment" SHe said explaining her past a bit. It was nice to talk with sane mutants from time to time. "I suppose most have simmeler stories though she said, with a shrug.

Sam, oh yes, he could be dangerous if he wanted to. Leila knew that for a fact, he'd told her all about his youth. She thought back to the second best night of her life, New Year's Eve. She was happy with Sam, and she was glad he could confide in her the way he did. Leila may be in the Order, she may be a Murder, she may be playing with every X-Mansion Resident's head, but she truly loved Sam, and no matter how badly their relationship ended someday, she'd keep his secrets to her grave.
"Sam could be dangerous if he wanted to." she agreed, "But he's a X-Men. He wouldn't hurt a Bull Dog with rabbies if it crossed his path." she said, trying to make her voice sound a bit sickened, though it was a bit over-done. She really was greatful Sam wasn't in Central Park today. "Yep, humans just never seem to realize how dangerous we can be. They think they can chase us down without getting harmed... Well, think again." she said in a soft whisper.
Leila couldn't help but repress a laugh. "Well, I'm glad you're not a human-eater." she admitted. She actually liked this kid, not just because she was in the order like her, but because they had fun conversations. Leila never had conversations like this before, and she was enjoying it a lot. Maybe a bit more then she realized... This made her feel a bit uneasy, who was she becoming? Would she want to kill everyone in her path, would she be a Bull Dog with rabbies one day?
She actually did not care one bit if she would be an insane bull dog. She kind of looked forward to her future, to be high in the ranks of the Order. Every member would like her, look up to her. She would be popular and loved. Every X-Men, every human would be scared of her. She could deal with that, even without Sam in her life. Though, it would make it that much funner if he was in it.
"I met Syn briefly, she seems like a fantastic Leader for the Team. Though, I could do with a bit more knowledge about her, about everyone in particular. That's why I spend so much more time at the Sanctuary, and less at the Mansion. I'll be frank with you, the Mansion's getting boring. The only reason I'm there is because of my job as a spy." she said, but mentally, Sam was everywhere on that sheet of 'whys'. She would be out of that place in no time if it wasn't for him, maybe destroy the place a bit. Just for fun.
"Yes, Powers can change. I haven't gotten in much conversations about people's Powers. But mine has been changing dramatically lately. Though, for the better. If yours would change, I don't think it would weaken. Usually, with training and a lot of practice, it'll get stronger." she said, again, loving the ability to inform someone else about all this new stuff. "And no. It's actually changing, becoming stronger and stronger. I can feel it, I never used to feel so Human when I was in my Dolphin form... I know it's getting stronger." she said, trying to convince herself as much as Aura.
"A tuna can." she repeated, "Yeah, I nearly got caught in a net once when I was about your age." she laughed. "I was a new Mutant back then, experiencing my powerts a bit before I got into this 'Powers stink and I hate them' stage of my life. Yeah, I did once wish to be Human again, but those days are over now. I wouldn't want to be scum, hell no." she said. Then the young teen mentioned Canada. "An other Canadian?" she asked. "I'm from Toronto, though Iv'e lived nearly everywhere else in the world throughout my childhood." she said.
"Well if the stranded X-men are like that i wonder what Arrielle is doing on their side, she seems pretty scrappy and easy to provoke, it is true that Sam never raised a hand to stop me from leaving" She went on as she heard Leila mention "Humans realize their a species which will die out, dyeing animals fight tooth and nail despite the inevitable outcome." She said simply of the humans.
Her choice to enter the order had been in easy one, she had walked in and bu inducted pretty much right away. But the more she heard of the X-men the more she realized she had made the right choice. She was a violent weapon, they were restrained and protected those who would kill them. In Aura's eyes the choice was obvious.
"Well i don't know syn, and i'm not sure what the others can do exactly, though Dragon King is pretty good with a sword. I to would like to know more, because the more i know the better i can work with the team. " She explained her reasons for wanting the information, simply because she felt it was polite and always good to know why people were asking.
"Well all i can say is enjoy the change, it will come anyway much like your original powers did, learn to use them to your advantage. In more peaceful times, you would have made a great fishermen" She offers with a smile. "Besides your body won'y change in a way that would not somehow enhance you, So what do you think is going to happen, any ideas?" she said going on curiously, this was a new concept to her entirely.
"Yes i heard some question their powers, i did briefly but, then i had to rely on them day in and day out and Miracle was not kind to such thoughts" She said as she heard Leila's words. "Yes i do need to get stronger, i can control my powers well, but i need to able to withstand more." She said, she still believed had she been stronger, she could have saved her friends. She had been learning control all this time, maybe she needed to switch to raw power, it made sense with her close up ability.
"And No im actually from this city, i ran away at 12 and met up with Miracle who gave me food and clothing in exchange for food and protecting her with the other kids about my age.To hide we made our way to Canada and his out in the woods. I had nowhere else to go after they were killed so i came back here" She explained

Leila nodded simply at her comments about the X-Men, Arielle and Sam. She didn't feel as comfortable speaking about them like this, just because it was a first. She had never talked about Sam in this kind of manner, and it felt wrong. It sickened her, how she could turn so easily on him. She hoped it wouldn't be so easy to reveal his secrets once they weren't together anymore. She'd promised him, she would promise him again when they would say their final goodbyes. Even if she aimed a few punches at the Ice Manipulator, she would never hurt him in that way.
She would love this man until the day she died, even if he didn't return the love. She knew that for a fact, and he would know too. She'd tell him. Leila suddenly remembered Ayesac, "Is Dragon King... Sort of like a Dragon?" she asked, "I mean, does he have a permentant, Dragon appearance?" maybe Ayesac was Dragon King, this seemed strange, as he had seemed rather jokster, and nothing like an Order member would be on Christmas. No, Ayesac couldn't be Dragon King.
"Well, how about we make a practice session together? You could teach me, I could teach you. You know?" she suggested, knowing there was some sort of Danger Room in the Sanctuary as well. It wasn't as High Tech though, or maybe it was... but she just hadn't figured how to make it work yet. The Mansion's Controls for the DR was pretty simple, and Leila had learnt it easily, training everyday for a couple of hours.
Leila laughed at the Fishermen comment. "Well, I'll definately enjoy it, thanks." she said, "But, I do work with fish, if you really want to know. I'm graduating with a Marine Biology major this June, but right now I'm employed at the local Aquarium, you could say I'm the Fish Whisperer. I talk to fiash, learn what they need and want, stuff like that. It's really useful." she said. "Hmmm," she said thoughtfully. "By the looks of it, I think I'll be somewhat of a WereDolphin? I don't know, I think I'm growing legs and arms, I have four lumps exactly where those body parts would be on Humans." she said.
"Again, if you want to get stronger, I could definitaly help you. I'm not exactly strong with my abilities when it comes to offensive, but I am quite good with weapons. I could train you to become stronger." she said, really wanting to do this, it would make her a lot more reconized, and Aura would have to owe her someday. This could easily work in her favor, as well as Aura's. "Well, Canada and New York are both amazing places, did you ever get the chance to visit Paris? I'm 1/4 french, my paternal grandfather--" she didn,t want to even mention her father "--was French, a very rich and powerful buisness man. When my father died, I got full inheritence. Over 10 billion dollars, I think." she smiled softly, a evil kind of smile that would make anyone's hairs stand on end.
"No Dragon king was human when i first met him and then he changed into a more armored form, so im pretty sure he can choose between the two, though he did not really look like a dragon to me" She admitted recalling the man's armored form from the quick view of him she had gotten. She tried to recall more details on the form but it evaded her, unusual for her.
"I would be more then happy to, i enjoy the practice though i have only been in there once before" She said recalling the training that she and Dragon King had done. They had practiced for some time and it was easy to see he was quicker then she was. She was not quite sure how to program it but how hard could it be.
"Makes sense, it sounds kinda pretty" she said as she pictured what a were dolphin might look like in the end. So your graduating from collage? That's awesome" She said thinking back to her own less then successful schooling career. She was fairly sure she would not be going to collage anyway.
"Well that would be fun and a good idea anyhow, Im not much with weapons other then those i can form, can't wrap my aura around them. "But i would gladly take any assistance you can offer, i plan to be as strong as i can so that i can be more useful to the order."She said agreeing to the help. "No i have never been outside of Canada and new york, to be honest i never considered going to places like that. Never seemed important, though i suppose it would be possible now" She said thinking about it, she tried to imagine what paris might look like, but her only real refrences were NYC and Toronto, so it became a mixture of the two. "That is alot of money far more then i earned for nearly getting killed for two years, if you have that much cash though they why do you work?" she asked a bit perplexed on why anyone with that much cash would work at all.

Leila felt a bit more assured, Ayesac hadn't had Armor, just a Dragon-like form that surprised her a bit when she first saw him. Along with the Cat-woman Sara. That woman was cool though, Leila liked them both. "I see. 'cause I know someone who's a Permenant Dragon-like Mutant. I was a bit unsure if he was Dragon King or not, but it doesn't seem like it." she said, wondering if two people could have slightly similar abilities. She knew Raina could Manipulate ice with her voice, and Sam could manipulate ice in general, maybe two people could have the same, or similar, abilities. She wondered if anyone had some similar to hers... Was Raina, a Mermaid Shifter, closest to her ability?
This was odd, Leila's two bestest friends at the Mansion were similar to hers and her boyfriend's. Ice Manipulator, just like Sam, Mermaid, a bit like her. That was Raina, then, Water Manipulator, some kind of unsolid form of Sam's, and Leila swam in water when shifted. This was ironic. "Cool," she said when Aura agreed to the practices. This was going to be a lot of fun, and a great show. She wondered how long it would take before she got her butt kicked by this Pink Aura maker.
"Yeah, something I really didn't see a point too. I mean, with the money I have... It's a bit pointless to work." she said thoughtfully, bitting her lower lip, like she always did when she wase thinking or nervous. This time, it was because of her thoughts, she was far from nervous. "Did you ever try concealing others with your Aura?" she asked, slightly curious. She had never went this far into someone's abilities before, and this girl seemed to grow on her.
She knew they'd be good friends, even fighting buddies. Would they ever be Jail Mates? She grinned at the thought, already thinking about Break-out plans. "Ditto," she said, to Aura's 'as strong as I can' comment. "I find I really need some more moves going. Trainning myself is no longer useful, I just repeat the same moves I was tought when I first came at the Mansion, with a few added combinations of my making." she said.
"Well, oddly enough, I find Marine Biology interesting. It's also a way to experience with my abilities, and make them stronger. I mean, I get to practice everyday, and I do see a difference as I practice more and more. I used to wait for weeks between the times I could hear Fish, now, sure it's sometimes as long, but I can talk to them for longer periods of time. I just have to concentrate a lot." as she spoke, she could see the Golden Doors, they had arrived.
She parked the car, and then looked at Aura. "Here we go." she told her.
"Well im sure their are a few people with dragon like powers out there, is he in the order as well?" she asked curiously having never heard the name before. She had never encountered another whose powers were quite like hers, but the world seemed to vast for somewhat not to have something like it.
She was unsure what the other girl would be like in actual combat, though she was happy for the chance to train with as many people as she could. Verity helped one to consider options in combat, also this girl talked as if she had a lot of experience in combat in general, Aura spent much of her time training, her room was lined with plates of various materials, for her to try and cut into. Still live practice was much better.
"My aura only extends about four to six inches from my body, i was able to help stop some bleeding by shaping my aura to the sounded area to apply more pressure. So I really can't shield others unless i stand in front of them. I have more control then power, I am able to manipulate it well and quickly, but range has always been an issue, that why recently, i acquired a cops service pistol" She said with a smile that said she would use it. Aura had no training with a gun and was a lousy shot.
"Yes training with others puts you in a more realistic combat envirment because you have taken out the element of complete control. one of my friends said that once i have found it to be very true. In the same way that it is best to fight a verity of people or you will without meaning to begin to adjust your training to just fight that person. Im not so sure how true the second part is, but i never had the chance to explore it" She said in response. "Alone all i can really work on is control" She said and she was good at manipulating her aura in the small range she had. "Becides being with others makes it a bit more fun" she said going on.
"Well it is nice to practice every day, i never learned how to swim myself, was never important to the line of work. I can't imagine what a fish could have to say, for the most part they just don't seem to bright, i mean besides dolphins and whales, but their not really fish" she said thinking about it, she ahd heard that somewhere.
She opened the door and got out of the car and stretched a bit, she felt somwhat better but she yawned a bit as well "You got any plans for later? She asked curiously as She took a few steps torward the Sanctuary doors.

Leila shrugged. "I wouldn't bet on it. He seemed to be fairly aquaintanced with the X-Men, plus I never saw a hint of dislike or anything of that kind. He doesn't live at the Mansion either though, which is odd. I never actually met Mutants who didn't live either at the Mansion or the Sanctuary. Not that I know of anyway." she said, but when those words came out, she remembered her boss Mr. Gray. He wasn't a Mansion or Sanctuary resident... Yet, his abilities didn't really put him under the spotlight either.
Six inches, that's not much. She remembered Bella's abilities in Breaking Dawn, a book she'd read many times. She was a Sheild too, and she could expand it very far. With a bit of practice, she'd been able to do a lot. Maybe Aura was the same? She'd never actually considered the Vampires' abilities much, but now that Aura seemed to have similar powers as to Bella, was there Edwards, Jaspers and Alices out there? She listened as Aura spoke about her Shields, and the question burst out.
"I'm just curious, have you ever heard of the Twilight Series?" she asked, "There's a character in there named Bella, and she can produce Shields as well. It may be a bit of help if you read the final part of the book. The writer described how her abilities worked, and how she trained, maybe some of this could help you." she suggested.
Leila nodded simply, "I never had a chance to actually fight other Offensive Mutants, I don't even consider the small amount of sword slashing fighting either. Though, I did end up killing a Telepath, she was weak, though she did put up a fight." she paused for a second, "Humans though, I had a bit of experience with them. They aren't a lot of fun though, it's easy to kill them, even with my lack of Offensive or defensive Powers." she said.
Leila raised an eyebrow. "They are smarter then you think. Sure, the Aquarium Creatures are boring, but there are others, like some of my Fish friends in the Ocean, who have a lot to say. When I'm a Dolphin, I can hear and converse with them freely and it never stops." she said, feeling a bit offended now. "Though, I do sort of agree with you. other Dolphins are much smarter and I tend to get along better with them. I even had the chance to meet a Shark once." she said.
Leila fallowed Aura towards the doors of the Sanctury. "Nope, no plans at all. Though, I did think of going to visit Arielle, see how she's holding up. We could meet afterwards, I could give you a heads up if she died of loss of blood." she smiled. The two entered the Sanctuary together, and Leila closed the door behind Aura.
"A shame then, he sounds like he was strong, i wonder if i will get to fight him" She said her thought immediately switching to the idea of engaging a dragon man in combat. It was a sham he was tied to the mansion though, Mutants who joined with the order would live much longer. The man not living in the mansion could be a weakness though, isolated targets were always easier.
Aura had trained her body so that she was rather strong and agile for her age, combined with her Aura this had given her an advantage fighting humans. Her Body had also been trained to react at the thought of the strike, no after like most did.
"No i have not, i enjoy books, but actually reading that was really not possible, until recently." SHe explained. "It might assuming they use similar principals it might, can's hurt to try" She said with a thought. She had never heard of the series but their were a lot of things she had not heard of since she came back to civilization.
"I have fought over dozen other Mutants their always more interesting targets because you never quite know what to expect from them. Most were sparring matches against my old teammates though. "She said looking back at the mention of a telepaths always seem to be trouble, My team was killed becuse our Psychic betrayed our location" She said thinking back to her old Teammates again, she was tinking of them more and more now that she had a new team.
"Well the only fish other then aquarium fish, i have been around are those i ate. It Must be interesting to hear what no one else can. A shark? What was that like, they seem like they should be smart" She said really only knowing a few like great whites or hammerheads. "I suppose they may be smarter then i gave them credit." She admitted guessing it was very possible fish were quite smart, it was one of those subjects she had not thought of.
"That sounds good" She said walking into sanctuary. "I need to rest anyway, if she lives she is going to be pissed, and i need to train my ability to win next time. Oh, Does arriells have any freinds i should look out for? The Kind that might seek revenge?" She asked curiously wanting to know who might trail her. "If she dies that would be better, still a bit annoyed my Blade was that off" she said thinking about it, one less target was always preferable.
