Aiden nealy laughed at what Arielle said about keeping him happy. "I'm the happiest I've ever been. Happiness doesn't even cover it. Euphoria would be a more accurate description." As she hugged him all the tighter he leaned back so that he could sit against the the car while they were together.

Unfortunately, the shuttle bus came at that moment forcing them to part and place their bags on the bus. The driver gave them a smile as they sat down in their seats and began driving to the airline that Aiden had told him. When they had arrived at the terminal Aiden unloaded the bags. He placed a large bill in the the man's cup of tips before he drove off.

Arielle was happy when Aiden said he was in euphoria since being with her. The whole bus ride to the airport, she thought the same to herself. Being with him was a euphoria as well. Arielle remembered her conversation with Leila a few days ago by the lake of the mansion. When she questioned her love for Aiden, but it was then on that bus that her heart and mind agreed. She was falling in love with him and she couldn't possibly imagine her life without him in it now. She wanted to tell him, but she bit her tongue. She felt it but perhaps it was to soon to say it? She shrugged it off and followed off of the bus and into the terminal. They went through the standard procedures. The ticket and baggage check, the security screenings. After about an hour the couple sat at the gate and until it was their time to board the plane and took their seats in first class.

"Oh yeah, this is the life," Arielle laughed taking the window seat and reclined her seat back. "You're spoiling me, you know that right?" Arielle teased Aiden. "I won't let it go unrewarded. I promise, I spoil you in my own little way," she laughed leaning over to kiss him.

Aiden sighed contently as he sat next to Arielle. The girl had certainly managed to turn his head. Not to mention the new direction his life was taking. And to think that he thought of killing her when he first met her.

Now, he couldn't bare to be apart from her for more than a few days. The feeling was most overwhelming and entirely new to Aiden. He had started to think it was love but that quick? No feelings grow that quick. If his heart could laugh at him, it surely would have.

"Perhaps I like spoiling you," he answered in return. Aiden kissed her while not really completely understanding her intentions behind her statement.

"Hm, I guess that good, because I love being spoiled by you..." Arielle said pulling back from their kiss. "I still can't believe I'm on a plane towards Paris right now. I just want you know that you don't have to do and buy expensive things just to spoil me. Just being around you is a privilege in itself. I love-" she paused, biting her tongue. It almost slipped out. She sighed sinking back into her seat and looking out the window. Why couldn't she tell him how she really felt? She was always blunt and stated her opinions, but in the back of her head she had gathered this idea that telling him would scare him away and that was the last thing she wanted. Just thinking about how crushed she'd be was evidence of her feelings.

"I love being with you..." she said with a sigh.

On the surface, Aiden appeared as calm as ever. "I love spending time with you too." But inside his head was a maelstrom of thoughts. He put his hand in Arielle's for good measure.

Did she really just almost say what I think she said? It must have been a slip of the tongue because she corrected herself. But did she really mean to say what I thought she was going to say? Of course not. If she meant to say what I thought she was going to say she would have said it. But did she want to say what I thought she was going to say?

Those thoughts kept occupying Aiden's mind as the plane took off.

OOC: It's roughly 7 and a quarter hours of flight time from New York to Paris. If you want to fast forward feel free to.

Arielle smiled as Aiden took her hand and her grip tightened around his and all she could do the whole flight was look out the window, thinking about what she just did. At first she was relieved that she didn't say it, but now she wanted him to know and she hated herself for not taking that opportunity. She shrugged it off for a bit and after the in flight movies and the lovely gourmet dinner, Arielle found herself dozing off to sleep...

*Lalala~7 hours go by~lalala~*

After the landing of their plane, Arielle and Aiden didn't waste anytime and headed straight for the baggage claim. She was dead tired, even after her nap on the plane. She couldn't wait to get to their hotel.

"Are you hungry, Papi?" she asked Aiden while grabbing the smallest bag from the baggage claim conveyor belt and allowed Aiden to grab the heavier ones. "I'm thinking after we check in, we could get a small bite to eat, or we could go to sleep and have a big breakfast in the morning. It's your shot to call." she said.

Grabbing the four bags and following Arielle, Aiden started thinking about what he wanted to do tonight. He knew Arielle was tired so they wouldn't go out. He figured that they would just go to the hotel and rest. The food could wait until tomorrow morning.

"Let's just go to the hotel. You need your rest Sleeping Beauty." Aiden smiled knowingly. He had thought somethings through during the flight and was thinking he knew what Arielle meant to say. But this was not the place for such conversations. The privacy of their hotel room would be more appropriate.

As Aiden waved his hand, a SUV pulled up infront of them sporting a taxi sign. After putting the luggage in the back the feline mutant opted to sit in the middle seat next to Arielle. The driver noticed that and after receiving their destination began to make conversation with them.

"Est-ce votre lune de miel?" (Is this your honeymoon?) Hearing what the driver, Aiden frowned. He hoped that Arielle did not speak French. "Non, il s'agit simplement de vacances."(No, it's merely a vacation.) After that the driver gave them numerous places to visit and restaurants to eat at. When they arrived at the hotel, Aiden thanked the driver and gave him a his fair.

Checking into their room proved no difficulty. A bellhop even brought up the bags. Aiden gave him a rather generous tip for that. Finally beginning to relax, the feline mutant flopped on the bed and gazed at Arielle.

"No, I'm completely fine..." Arielle insisted but that statement was proceeded by a rather long yawn. "Ok, maybe you know me too well." she laughed and followed him to the SUV cab. It was a rather nice ride and she could hear Aiden and the driver speaking to each other in french, a language she had learned in high school, but she was too exhausted to really pick up on it and tried her best not to doze off.

The couple exited their taxi and checked into the 4 Seasons hotel, one of the nicest in Paris. Arielle was still a bit half sleep has the couple made their way to their room, but as soon as they entered, a sly grin came across her face as she scanned over their little suite. Aiden climbed into bed and Arielle wasn't that far behind. Removing her shoes, she flopped into the bed and crawled in close to Aiden, giving him a kiss and laying her head on his chest.

"The room is gorgeous, the city is gorgeous and you're gorgeous." Arielle smiled warmly and placed a hand on his stomach, slowly caressing his abs. 'I really don't know what to say. I love you." the phrase finally escaped her lips and there was no going back. That was ok for her though. She spoke what she felt in her heart. "I love you, Aiden."

Aiden just lay there with Arielle's head on his chest and her hand caressing his stomach. He felt content. This was bliss. He thought about saying that set of three little words that always carried weight but thought better of it. The feline mutant was happy enough to lay there without a word. There was no need to complicate the situation.

Aiden almost jumped when she said 'I love you'. It was true that he had be expecting that much and he felt the same way. But it was something else entirely when he heard it with his own ears. His own enhanced ears. So he new he couldn't be mistaken.

"It sounds like you knew exactly what to say," he laughed. Aiden always thought he would be the first to say it. He didn't think it was possible for Arielle to love him as much as he loved her so soon. He felt the pressure on him to say it now. "I love you, Arielle." There, it was done. Everything was out in the open now.

Arielle laughed along with Aiden, but her laughter ceased when he said that he loved her. She smiled gently and looked back into his eyes. "You don't have to say it back if you don't really mean it," she said.

"I mean, I understand if your feelings for me aren't on the same level as mine for you. You're so amazing, and there's just no other words to describe how I feel about you. I don't care if we've only been together 3 weeks. I've never felt this way about any guy in my life and I just know that over time, my love for you will deepen and grow. This world is a pretty messed up place, but being with you, is like escaping to another world. An oasis away from the confusion and darkness of this planet. And I'm so happy that I met you." she smiled up at him as her eyes watered. "You may have a feral beast on the inside, whether you're human or a weretiger, you'll always be my angel."

"You think I really don't mean it?! Are you kidding?!"

"Arielle, if your love were a grain of sand. Mine would be a universe of beaches. And it grows daily as well. You've given me feelings I've never thought I was capable of. Feelings that I don't think are even possible. But they are there. And all because of you, mon amour (my love). Vous êtes l'amour de ma vie. (You are the love of my life).

Aiden wiped away the tears from Arielle's eyes. He then kissed her on the mouth. It was a long kiss meaning to reassure her. He was sure that she could feel that he was smiling. Pulling away, he said "I am no angel. But I'll do my best. If you ever don't think I don't say 'I love' you enough. Just undestand that, it might go unsaid but it won't go undone."

"..." Arielle laid there practically speechless after hearing Aiden's confession. "You're..." she sighed and smiled wiping her eyes. "I'll just be quiet. There's no way I can top what you just said. Jesus Christ, you even threw some french in there," she laughed a bit.

"The love of your life? Sounds like I better live up to your expectations because you're beyond everything I could ever ask for in a guy. I'm so glad we came here and I cannot wait until tomorrow." she said grabbing his hand and lacing her fingers through his. "I never knew I could feel each moment as if it were new.
Every breath that I take, the love that we make, I only share it with you . Yeah I stole that line from a song, but it fits." she laughed giving him another kiss.

"You don't have live up to anything. You're all of what I said and more."

The night passed quickly as soon as Aiden's head hit the pillow. He awoke early the next morning. Seeing that it was still too early to get ready the feline mutant opted to stay in bed with his beautiful significant other.

It did finally come time though. Aiden rose and showered and had on only a pair of jeans while brushing his teeth. He poked his head out of the bathroom to see if Arielle was awake yet.

Arielle wrapped her arms around Aiden and slowly drifting off to sleep with a smile. So this was love? It was absolutely amazing and the feeling carried her off into dream land. She slept soundly for the rest of the night. She always did each time she slept next to Aiden with her body pressed firmly next to his.

By the time she woke up, Arielle was completely refreshed. The light from the day shone brightly in their room. The brazilain girl sat up and stretched her arms while letting out a yawn. Then she noticed that her man peaking from the bathroom.

"Morning," she waved cutely. "Gosh, why didn't you wake me up when you did? We could be down at breakfast right now..." she said walking over to hug him and noticed his fresh scent. "And you showered without me. Wonderful," she sighed slightly disappointed. "Ah well. Let me just hop in there real quick. I'm hungry and there's so much we have to do." she smiled dropping her night gown and stepping into the shower, sliding the glass door behind her.

Aiden hugged her Arielle as she came over to him. "I was giong to let you sleep. You seemed pretty tired after the flight. I'll make sure to wake you next time for my shower." He smiled as he watched her get in the shower.

Aiden finished brushing his teeth and began to shave. "Although, if we had showered together I doubt we would have seen much outside the hotel room today. I had hoped to see some of Paris while I was here."

When he was done with that, Aiden put on a shirt and patiently waited for Arielle to get done with her showering and get dressed so they could go down for their breakfast.
