Arielle rolled her eyes overhearing the whispers and gasps about Aiden's.He led her to their table and asked her to sit and talk, but she declined.

"Why don't we leave? Go somewhere alone?" she suggested. "Because if we stay here, I might end up drowning someone." she spoke. It was truly how she felt. How could they judge Aiden by his eyes? They knew nothing about him. She expected it to happen, but she wasn't as ready for it as she thought. It made her upset and the last thing she needed to do was lose her temper and hurt someone. That wouldn't help her chances of becoming one of the X-men.

"Come along," she grabbed her purse and took Aiden's arm once again, guiding him towards the exit. The eyes continued to follow them and the whispers became louder. Arielle just increased her pace, wanting to get away from them all. She led them out of the ballroom and straight out of the hotel and paused when they arrived to the curb side.

"Those bastards..." she steamed, curling her fists. She let out a heavy sigh and lowered her head in a sulking manner. "I'm so sorry you had to go through that..." she began to speak again looking up at him again. "I know they're afraid because they're ignorant and don't understand, but still. They have no right. I love your eyes because they're unique and you should too. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise," she said putting a hand to his cheek.

Well that hope was too much to hope for apparently as they headed outside. The weretiger in him longed to release a growl to silence the whispering but the mutant remained in complete control fearing what would result would be more than a simple 'growl'.

Aiden was quite interested in Arielle now that she had said that she would have drowned someone because of him. He really didn't think he was worth that much trouble. She was more upset about what happened than Aiden was. Certainly he knew coming here was a risk but did she really expect anything to happen differently? Aiden would admit that he had hoped for more than that.

Arielle seemed really upset to Aiden. He had never seen her other than happy other than one outburst. Aiden really didn't have the slightest idea of how to comfort her. The feline mutant just went by what felt right. And their dancing had felt right.

So Aiden wrapped his arms around Arielle in a comforting hug. "Don't let them bother you. Take comfort in the fact that we showed them a small portion of what they're missing in their lives. You really were going to drown someone for me?" he asked trying to lighten the mood.

"Heh..." Arielle spoke, blushing as she was pulled into a hug and Aiden asked his question. "I don't know about drowning someone, like killing, but yeah. I would definitely drench those losers and give them a good water whipping..." she said.

"Would have gotten me in a bit of trouble with my friends back at the mansion as they don't approve of violence, but I don't approve of people judging your and they don't even know how wonderful you are," she sniffed, wiping a tear from her eye. Wait...a tear? Arielle couldn't do anything but laugh.

"I'm actually crying? Go figure," she said, sniffing again and looking back into his feline eyes. "I don't know what it is you're doing, but it's working. Far past a third date. I've never felt the way I do while you're holding me right now."

Aiden could not help but smile at what Arielle was saying. Who would have thought he would be the one to prevent violence? Certainly not him. This girl was having a more profound effect on him than he realized.

"Well, I'm glad something stopped you. I would have had a hard time explaining to the police what happenned." That wasn't exactly true, Aiden would've grapped Arielle and jumped in the Jaguar and got away as quick as possible before the police even got there.

"That makes two of us," said Aiden as he wiped another tear that had surfaced to her face. The feline mutant then cupped her face in his hands and leaned down for a kiss. Immediately after, their lips touched he drew back. His face seemed to be asking, "Is this alright?"

Arielle simply nodded in reply. It was more than alright. She hadn't felt anything this right in a long time. Placing her hand on his cheek, she guided his lips to hers, and another kiss ensued, though this one lasting much longer and filled with more passion.. Finally drawing back, Arielle smiled again.

"This is totally alright," she laughed because she felt she had to confirm it verbally. "I'm yours. Just promise that you'll never hurt me, and I'm yours..." she said softly and slowly burying her face in his chest. "If I give someone my heart, I wanna make sure it won't get broken."

Aiden had to remember to breath when Arielle let go of him the next time. It was cetainly nothing like anything that ever happenned to him before. Arielle's smile caused Aiden to smile in return.

Does she really have to ask? It only made Aiden hug her all the tighter. "Hurting you is the last thing I would ever want to do. Don't worry your heart is safe with me. Can I trust you with mine?"

"Yeah..." Arielle smiled letting out a relaxed sigh with her head still rested on Aiden. "I promise, I'll take good care of you. I don't have to be lonely anymore and neither do you. It's just too bad our names don't start with M's. Then we could be M&M like the candy, but A&A will rise and crush the M's now." she chuckled at how corny her joke was.

"Although I do feel a bit warm in your arms, let us not forget how cold it is out here. I don't wanna catch a cold and I don't want you too either. Shall we go?"

Aiden couldn't help but laugh at Arielle's joke. "And the M&M's will never know what hit them." The valet had certainly noted their arrival at the curb and immediately went to go get Aiden's car. The Jaguar pulled up right about now, making the timing perfect.

"You're right, we need to get out of the cold," said the feline mutant as he helped Arielle into her seat. Wasting little time and wanting to show off, Aiden slid across the hood on his bottom to the other side of the car.

Getting in he asked, "I know I promised you a night of dancing and that failed. But would you care to go to my apartment seeing as how I don't want to take you back just yet?"

Arielle couldn't help but laugh at the sight of Aiden sliding across the hood of the car. Part of her wanted him to slip and fall for a more humorous situation, but then again, she thought his tush was too cute and wouldn't want harm to come to it.

"I know I promised you a night of dancing and that failed. But would you care to go to my apartment seeing as how I don't want to take you back just yet?"

"Did he really have to ask?" Arielle thought, though when she really did think about it, it was better that he did, instead of just kidnapping her. Not that she would have minded, but it was whatever.

"I don't care. I'd love to see your place. I'll probably be spending more time over there anyway. We can't be intimate at the mansion. Even if I have my own room, there's too many people. It'd be awkward." she stated bluntly.

Aiden couldn't help but smile at what Arielle said. "It certainly would be awkward. Not to mention the rumors of you having tamed a tiger and keeping it in your room," he teased.

The Jaguar drove off and arrived at a garage of a nice apartment complex after only a few minutes. Aiden opened the car door for Arielle as the garage door closed behind them. Grabbing her hand he led her to the elevator and pressed the 4th floor button.

After that ride, Aiden used his key to open the door revealing a lavish living room/kitchen. The bedroom was farther down one of halls towards the back wall. "I know it's not a mansion but will this do?"

"This is beautiful. You're so modest," Arielle laughed turning to give him a nudge on the shoulder. "This is way better than any apartment I've ever been in," she walked over to open the blinds and gasped at Aiden's view over the city streets.

"I absolutely love it. You really have done well for yourself," she smiled walking to set her purse on the counter, noting the stainless steel appliances and marble counter tops . She'd seen the living room and the kitchen, but then she grew curious.

"So where's the bedroom?" she asked. "Let me guess, that's decorated in white tiger print, isn't it?" she laughed.

Arielle was certainly impressed with the apartment. But that didn't matter to Aiden much. What mattered to him was that she was there with him. "It's back there." he said while pointing. "And sorry to disappoint but no tiger paws," he laughed.

Aiden took Arielle's hand and started to lead her down the hallway. He opened the door to reveal a room much like the rest of the apartment except for the giant bed in the center of it. He let her marvel at this room for a moment. "See, no tiger paws."

Then Aiden took a step closer to Arielle so that he was right next to her and much like when they stood by the curb, began to kiss her with passion. It was restrained though, he did not want to force her into something he didn't want.

"Yeah, you were right. No paws....." Arielle smiled and then suddenly found herself in a kiss with Aiden. "Well, he certainly doesn't waste time..." she thought, though she continued with the kiss, wrapping her arms around his waist.

"So..." she began, after pulling away from their lip lock. "Um...I guess we're gonna be here for awhile? I suppose I should take off my shoes and get comfortable...." she said slipping off her heels. She climbed into Aiden's bed, or more like climbing into a giant pillow. She had never been in a bed so soft. This had to be one of those $2,000 mattresses.

"Well this puts a new spin on the saying more cushion for the pushin....crap, did I just say that out loud?" she laughed.

Aiden looked to Arielle as she climbed up on the bed. He laughed at her comment. "Unless I've suddenly developed telepathy, then yeah you just said that?" Aiden walked over to the bed and laid down close next to her. "Care to try it out?"

"I suppose," Arielle shrugged looking over at Aiden. "I mean, if we're like, together now, it wouldn't be so bad to do so, right?" she asked. Sure she was a flirt and a total tease, but she had never let a guy go completely all the way with her.

"This is dumb, too much thinking involved," she laughed a bit. Lifting her arm, liquefying it and elongating it to whip the bedroom door shut.

"Saying that wouldn't want to would be lying, so..." she arm returned to normal and she placed a hand around the back of his head and leaned forward into a kiss, thus giving her answer.
