The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Daria smiled and slowly dragged herself closer to wall separating them. Her drugs were wearing off but she didn't want anyone to see that.
"Well you're no better off than I am, but nice try." there was a certain sorrow to her word. "I always thought I'd have a more glorious death than this."

"Good. What's the first letter in the code?"
Twelve minutes... then the first sweep through by personnel. Usually a mutant drone. Have to figure out what the plan is before then, or it'll be another few hours to wait.

Daria could hear a relieved sigh from Mike's cell.
"That's the best news I've heard all day," Mike said, slumping against the bars.
"Before I let the lab goons hit me to take me in, I yanked as much out of their heads as I could to make sure this could work. Behind that panel is your cell's power inhibitor. If it's code started with A, it'd be hard-wired into the main generator, and this would never work, but both of ours are individually powered."
"In short... they underestimated our powers. I've made sure not to use mine much since they found me."
"I don't know how hard it will be, but these power inhibitors have limits. We don't. We can burn them out."

"Oh..good." Daria said skeptically. "I don't think I'm going to be much help though. They injected me with a tranquilizer some kind of other power inhibitor. My sense of smell is fine and my hearing is even better, but it's giving me a headache because everything is so loud. The one thing I can't do..is see. But it is better than it was a few hours ago.." she said. She looked down at her bandages to see the crusted dried blood on the edges and the still flowing new blood in the center.
She didn't want Mike to know how badly she was hurt-it would only make him even angrier than she was sure he already was. "What do I have to do?"

"Well, since our cells are on the same row, our inhibitors should be on the same circuit. So all we SHOULD have to do is pump up the strain they're going through until they overload and burn out. I've got to flare up my psi powers, and you have to try as hard as you can to teleport. I'm talking, the biggest jump you've ever made."
He sighed. Five minutes... "The best time to do it is around midnight. Well... that I know of so far. We can't do it now... we're almost out of time."
He hesitated before continuing. "Don't... give them any excuses to drug you any more than they already will. Do whatever you have to do to keep your head somewhat clear."
Three minutes... "During the day, don't give them ANY signs that we're working together, or that we even know each other are here or up to anything."
Two minutes... "And.. I love you," he said, a little more quietly.

Daria nodded. "Where am I suppose to teleport to?" she asked laying back down to make it look like she was still too weak to move.
"And....assuming you're wearing a button up over a tee like you usually do...loan me one of your shirts please....my clothes got...taken." she said bitterly in the last few minutes they had.

"Sadly, my clothes aren't doing much covering," he sighed. "And destination doesn't matter... aim for the school for lack of a better destination. The jump won't work, it's just to burn out the inhibitor."
"We're out of time," he finished, in a very low voice.

The door to the hallways opened and In walked Sapphire Lupin. She walked down the hallways ignoring the various groans and curses that where thrown at her by the mutants. She held a package in her hand but no one could really tell what it was.
The girl stopped infront of Daria's cell, shaking her head sadly. "Damn they did a number on you, well he went easy on you this time." The woman said unwrapping the package and slidding it through the Bars of Daria's cell. It was a pair of sweatpant and a longsleeved shirt including undergarments in Daria's size.
"Its not smart to lay there in the nude, some of the guards get a bit....frisky when they see a helpless female mutant." Sapphire stated simply, sitting down infront of Daria and Mikes cell. "Fusionist is gonna kill me when he finds out that I showed kindness." The girl said, shuddering visibly.

Daria grabbed the box carefully, still seemingly weak. She eyed the girl but didn't say anything. She couldn't be blamed considering their last run in was less than pleasant.
The catwoman slipped on the clothes slowly being careful of the bandages. She cast a last glance at Sapphire but just grunted and layed back down.
