The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Aiden watched everyone as he made walked through Central Park heading for the zoo. What was interesting was that he was watching them without them knowing he was doing the watching. He was wearing a black t-shirt with jeans and shoes. He had also acquired a pair of aviator sunglasses to hide his eyes. The t-shirt had some script in colored red that read, "I hope you like animals cuz I'm a beast."
The idea of caging animals and putting them on display intrigued him for some reason. I wasn't that different from them once upon a time. But I also proved I was the stronger. These animals have never known what it is to be truly free and wild and therefore have no reason to question what they were born into.
Aiden walked around, not really interested in the animals he had seen thus far. He made his way to the big cat area of the zoo. This was the real reason he had come. To see his mutation in it's most natural form, in all it's glory. It was rather disappointing though. The tigers didn't do much.
Feeling disatisfied, Aiden walked away in disgust. With his movement being so sudden he ran into someone knocking them to the ground. He looked down to see who he had ran into.
Arielle had decided to take a break from the mansion and head over to the Central Park zoo, a place she had yet to visit. It was a wonder why she hadn't because she adored animals. So much that it kind of made her a bit sad watching them caged up like so. The tigers in particular. She had seen the Animal Planet and Discovery channel shows on those creatures, living freely in nature. It was a pity that the tigers of the zoo couldn't experience that freedom. Still, she let out an audible "awe" at the cubs laying lazily next to their mother.
Having seen the tigers, she turned abruptly, only to be be knocked by a guy almost twice her size.
"Owe..." she groaned rubbing her head. "Relógio em que se estão indo!" or 'watch where you are going' she had exclaimed in her native tongue. She looked up to see who the rude guy was. A small smile came across her lips. One always did whenever she saw someone attractive. Though there was something different about him. Usually Arielle would be drawn to the guy's build, but instead she couldn't help but look into his eyes. Those bluish green eyes. The eyes of a tiger. No normal mutant had eyes like those. He had to have been a mutant.
"So, are you going to help me up or not?" Arielle asked extending a hand to the guy. "I promise, I won't press charges for aggravated assault," she laughed jokingly.

The person was a rather short, dark skinned, and beautiful girl. Judging from the language that she had shouted in most likely born in South America. Aiden immediately decided that he was going to have some fun playing with this girl.
"I am sorry. I really should watch where I'm going." he said in the language she had spoken. Grabbing the girl's extended hand, Aiden helped her up. Switching back to English he said, "Pressing charges on someone you just met isn't the way to make a new friend. Besides, you don't even know my name yet. I could have simply walked away and nothing would have happened." Now, let's see how impressed she is.
When Aiden had run into her, his sun-glasses fell off his head leaving his eyes exposed. The feline mutant bent down and picked them up. He quickly put them on so that there would be no further proclamation to the world about him not being human.
This girl saw my eyes without the glasses and she wasn't afraid. She must be used to being around mutants or one herself. This is getting more interesting by the second. Perhaps I shouldn't kill her after all.

Arielle's eye brow twitched up as the young man spoke Portuguese and then switched back to english.
"You speak portuguese? Interesting," she grinned circling around Aiden who spoke some more.
"Pressing charges on someone you just met isn't the way to make a new friend. Besides, you don't even know my name yet. I could have simply walked away and nothing would have happened."
"You'd really do that? How rude..." she chuckled. "Well, why don't you give me a name to match those eyes," she asked pausing in front of him and placed an her index finger on his chest, and running it down slowly. "I mean, if we're going to be friends, we might as well exchange names. You can call me Arielle," she spoke.
"And why are you putting your shades back on? You're beautiful, especially your eyes. You shouldn't hide them. Though, I understand why you would since humans don't take kindly to people like us."

Aiden saw that her eyebrow had risen in surprise to his use of Portuguese. Good. Now she's intigued. He smiled as she walked in a circle around him as if he were the prey. The irony was almost too much to bare.
"No, I really wouldn't do that. I couldn't possibly just leave a gorgeous girl after she just gave me her name. You may call me Aiden." Aiden let out a small tiger growl as her finger traveled downward. He figured that this close to the tiger pens that the sound could be easily explained.
She likes my eyes. Hmmm....that's a first. She also said 'people like us'. So she is a mutant as well.
"The reason I have them is not for me. It's for everyone else. I don't mind exposing who I am. I would rather people not ask questions is all. I've found that humans can become quite troublesome when they are afraid." Aiden paused as if considering something. "If you're willing to chance what will happen then I guess I am as well." And with that he removed the sunglasses and placed them in his pocket.
"So where do we go from here? I'm not about a gorgeous girl like you get away from me easily."

"You think I'm gorgeous? I wouldn't say I'm gorgeous, but thank you," Arielle smiled. She jumped a bit after hearing the tiger growl. She was a bit freaked but then found it strangely attractive.
"You don't have to risk it, Aiden," she called his name as he removed his glasses. "I understand why you wear them and I wouldn't want you getting any trouble."
"So where do we go from here? I'm not about a gorgeous girl like you get away from me easily."
"Really?" Arielle asked, a devious grin coming across her lips. Usually she was always the aggressor when it came to picking up someone. "Well, what do you suggest we do? New York is a big place," she spoke. "Or does Beauty have to get a room to tame the beast?" she grinned. She had no intentions of doing such a thing, but she liked to talk naughty and waited to see Aiden's reaction.
"Maybe we could grab a bite to eat?" Arielle smiled.

So, she's modest. And jumpy. Aiden added the last when he saw her response to his growl. He decided that he needed to tone down his aggression. It wouldn't do any good if he scared the prey off too quickly.
First the girl says, he shouldn't wear the glasses. Then she says he should. It was just like a woman in Aiden's opinion. They were never sure what they wanted. But she was right. The last thing he needed was to call attention to himself. And besides she would view it as me giving in to her request. Women are such suckers for that sometimes.
"I suppose you're right," he said as he removed his glasses from his pocket and placed them on his head covering his face. "It's them who would get into trouble anyway." Aiden leaned down and pulled the glasses further down his nose so she could see his feline eyes. "I'm the most dangerous animal in this place." He then replaced the glasses to their original position.
Arielle's suggestive talk caused Aiden's eyebrows to raise in surprise slightly. It certainly wasn't unwelcome, only unexpected. "A room shouldn't be necessary. But if that makes you more comfortable then go for it," teased Aiden.
"Something to eat would be great."
OOC: Permission for God-moding to take us to a place to eat granted.
Arielle's eyes widened once again at Aiden's response to her statement. She could do nothing but smile at the feline eyed mutant. He certainly was different, than any guy she had met here in the states so far. She would definitely have fun with this one. She apparently already had him hooked. She'd just need to reel him in and play with him a little more.
"And here I thought that I was the naughty kitty," she giggled, wrapping her arms around his arm. "Ooh, I like them strong" she she grinned feeling a fit on his muscle and began leading him off. Eventually the duo had made their way to the Central Park Boathouse, where they chose a seat on the deck to dine.
"I hope you don't mind us being by the water. I just love being close to my element," she smiled to Aiden as she looked over the menu. "So, why don't you tell me about yourself? Where you come from, what your powers are, your goals in life, and of course, what do you like to do and...how do you like it," she made a small cough into her fist and gave him a little wink, before returning her eyes to the menu. She may have been coming off a bit strong, but she had reasons. Every guy she wanted to pursue at the mansion was practically labeled by another girl. She wasn't going to let meeting Aiden go for granted. She wanted her beefcake too.
"And if I'm coming off too strong, just tell me. Then I can just grab my purse and go. There's no use in wasting time with a man that can't handle what I've got," she spoke bluntly and teasingly.

Aiden let the girl lead him away wherever she wished. It didn't matter to him where they ate as for food selection. Price wasn't a condition to him either. Eventually they found what looked to be a nice restaurant nearby and sat down at a table.
"So, you're a water elemental then. That's interesting. Fun fact for you, when hunting prey, tigers aren't bothered by water."
Aiden had already concocted a story to tell anyone he would meet in the city. Now it was time to see how it worked. "Originally, I'm from Chicago. But I've traveled to lots of different places. Hence, my Portuagese. As for my mutation, I can shift into a white weretiger. I also have enhanced senses in my human form. As for goals, I'd settle for knowing what plans you have tonight and if you would care to spend that time with me whether you had plans or not."
This girl sure knows how to get a guy's blood boiling. "I like to do...pretty much anything. I'm easy that way. I just kind of go with the flow." He got kind of puzzeled when she talked about walking out on him. "You're fine. There's no need for you to leave. I like it when women are strong and know what they want. Besides, what makes you think I can't handle what you've got?
The waitress came up then and asked for their order. Aiden had a water to drink and the most expensive steak on the menu. The waitress gave him an odd look when he told her he still wanted it bleeding but other than that it was fine.
"Now it's your turn. Where are you from and what do you like to do? And what sort of abilities do you have? "

"Ok..." Arielle nodded, placing her order, opting for a lemonade to drink and some roasted chicken. "I'd like mine cooked all the way, please..." she added as the waitress took her order. Aiden might have been able to handle raw meat, but she couldn't. She turned to him and began to speak.
"I'm from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, hence why I speak Portuguese. My abilities, well lets just say anything water can do, so can I. I'm a water mimic and I can turn myself to liquid. Fun fact for you, tigers might not be afraid of water, but they should. With the right amount of pressure, I could wrap around and crush you. You don't intimidate me one bit. That growl may have caught me off guard, but that will only be a one time thing." she smiled innocently, taking a sip of her lemonade and proceeding. "Besides, I adore little pussy cats," she chuckled.
"And No, I didn't have any plans tonight, but I suppose I have some with you now, am I right? I'm willing to go out with you. What would you like to do?"

Hmmm....Only a water mimic. That's slightly disappointing. But she could still have her uses with the proper motivation. And she's certainly confident enough and that's half the battle. She most likely lacks experience though. Where she would hesitate, I wouldn't.
Aiden decided the to let the 'pussy cat' comment slide for now. Sheesh, even the way the girl sipped lemonade was enticing. I wonder if she even knows she's doing it. Of course not, she don't know what she's doing. She don't know what she's doing. Yeah she does, she knows exactly what she's doing.

Arielle sat smiling waiting on Aiden's responses and began sipping on her drink.
"How do you feel about ball room dancing?"
That response was quite a surprised and Arielle choked, spitting up a bit of lemonade. "Oh jeez," she blushed with embarrassment while grabbing a napkin and wiping her mouth.
"I'm sorry. It's just, that wasn't what I expected..." she spoke looking over to Aiden. Tall muscular tiger guy, ball room dancing? She just couldn't picture him. A guy that was aggressive like he was, doing something so elegant.
"Maybe there is something more to him?" she thought smiling and placed her napkin back on to the table. "I'd love to go ballroom dancing. It sounds...romantic," she smiled, her tone becoming much gentler than before. She still felt the physical attraction and chemistry in the air, but when he suggested going dancing, especially in a ball room, it had put her seductive behavior at ease. There was more potential for this to become something more than just some fling.
"Great, now I have to see if I have a dress for it. If not, I'll have to get one. But it's totally worth it. Yes, I will go dancing with you, Aiden."

OOC: Damn it. That was so not the reaction I was going for. lol jk
IC: Aiden watched her through while taking a drink from his water. It was quite a talent he had of watching people while they thought he wasn't watching them. Judging by her reaction, he had surprised her with the ball room dancing.
She must think the notion of me dancing is absurd. But then again, who wouldn't think that? And now that I've shown her that I'm not just what I appear, she'll continue to let her guard down around me. Making her an easier prey.
Arielle seemed more relaxed to Aiden now that he had brought up the dancing. It didn't really make sense to him but it was the reaction he was looking for. It didn't really matter to him what her thought process was of how she had achieved it.
"If you don't have a dress then, I'll provide you with some money to get one. It's my fault that you would be buying one anyway. I did ask you. And don't worry about the price. Money is no object for me. It's only right that I pay for it since I might end up ripping it off of you anyway."

"Do I look like a charity case? I don't need your money. I'm almost certain I have a gown. If I don't then I should punish myself by blowing money on a new one because I should be better prepared for occasions like dancing. However, you can pay for tonight's dinner Mr. Money is not an object for me," Arielle smiled. Was this guy for real? Willing to drop hundreds of dollars on a gown for a girl he had just met? That was almost too good to be true. Even a bit suspicious. Was he up to something?
Arielle smiled as the server had finally brought their food to the table. She took a bite of her potatoes and stared back over at Aiden, in an attempt to read him. It was times like these when she wished she was a psychic mutant rather than a water elemental.
"So, where do you live Aiden? It must be somewhere nice if money is no object. I'm just curious like that..."

Arielle's reaction wasn't exactly what Aiden had been expecting. Well, that certainly didn't go as I had hoped. But with women, how many things do? "I'm sorry if I offended you. Believe me, it was the last thing I wanted to do. I guess I can pay for dinner."
Their meal arrived and Aiden took the time to thank the waitress. He cut a piece off of his steak and tasted it savoring the flavor and juice. He knew that Arielle was watching him so he tried to look as nonchalant as possible.
"Oh, it's nothing fancy really. Just some apartment for right now until I find something better. Where do you live?"
