The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

((This takes place Mid-January))
Leila's flight from America to Australia wasn't as long as she had expected it to be. She wasn't sure however, that she could say the same about the next few days of her mysterious trip here. She tugged at her luggage. The one containing a very strong, sharp sword the Order had given her for this Mission. It also contained an extra pair of clothes for after she had finished her work. She surely didn't want to be reconized, especially not by Mutants.
She walked casually through the airport, her features calm and thoughtful. She still had three hours before meeting with the Australian Mutants, so she might as well rent a Hotel and rest. She'd need all the energy she could get if one turned against the plan to release the Haywire. Trusting Syn though, she knew at least of of the three would be on her side. Finally she opened the doors of the Airport, and the unmistakable heat of Sydney washed over her.
Leila looked around briefly, being a new Order Member, she didn't know everything about how she should approach people. Should she threaten them, or be nice? She decided upon being nice, she wasn't totally evil, yet. "Excuse me, would you know where the nearest hotel is?" she asked a man, probably in his late thirties. "Down the block, you won't miss it. It has a big Neon sign." Leila thanked him, and made her way towards the busy street, where a taxi quickly stopped for her.
"The Hotel down the block," she ordered, holding out a hundred dollars in american money. "You can exchange it, I'm not sure... But I think American money is worth more then Australian." and she sat back, re-playuing her plan for the evening.

Later after Dinner, the blonde found herself looking out the window. She was minutes away from the start of her amazing plan. She was a little more then nervous though, looking at her watch non-stop. Finally, it stroke eight, and she saw the Street Lamps go on. She got up, soundlessly making her way across the room, closing all the lights and taking her Luggage along with her. She locked the Hotelroom door, and without a look back, she walked towards the Elevator.
This was frightening buisness. Leila knew she had nothing to worry about, she knew she had a Weapon on her side, and that she was only meeting these Mutants to talk. Talk about the Order's plans over the summer. "Thank you," Leila said gravely, as she gave the Hotel Clerk his money. She felt strange, as if she was a criminal, pretending everything was right, when it obviously wasn't. Now that she thought of it, maybe she'd be a criminal after tonight. Maybe something would go terribly wrong, and she'd have to kill.
She erased those thoughts as she walked out the door. The air was warm, yet humid. She could feel the blood pounding in her veins, and the beat of her heart in her throat. She moved forward, having seen the Bar's Alleyway on the way here. The one the meeting would take place in. It had seemed dark and depressing, even in full daylight. She wondered how it would be at night. Scary? She continued walking, getting nearer as minutes ticked by. She knew she'd be a few minutes late, but that was all part of her plan.
Finally the Bar was in sight. The walls were fully spray-painted in vulgar, detailed images and Leila felt very uneasy as she saw one particular spot where the blood seemed strangely real. Was it real blood? Was the mass of red under this cartoon corpse real? She walked forward, examining the blood carefully. It was, this was real blood. "Well, well, we didn't think you would come." a sharp, male voice said. Leila turned around, to find three silhouettes, one seemed very unhuman like, with deep red eyes.

Leila was glad her black hoodie's hood was pulled up, so that most of her face was out of sight. "Yes, I did come." she said, sounding a lot more confident then she had expected to. "Let's get this party going, shall we?" she added, walking nearer towards the three Mutants. She could see the faces now, there was one woman, on the right. She was pretty. With long, silky black hair and deep asian features. The other man was rougher looking, a slightly, cowboy-ish look with his unshaven beard.
The final Mutant, right in the middle, was the most terrifying creature she had ever seen. He was tall, very tall. With Muscles like no other, they were huge, and not only that, but he had 4 Muscled arms, not two. His eyes, he had scarlet eyes. "You're a brave one. Not many people would be as calm, when staring in my eyes." the red-eyed man said. Leila could only guess this was Vincent, the leader.
"Why would I not be brave?" she asked, stepping back once, so she could see the three of them clearly. "Now, to get things started. I was sent here on strict buisness you know -" but she was cut by the Cowboy. "We know who the Order is, we don't need a speech, lady." he said, and the Asian woman nodded. "Tell us, why do we need to colaborate with you?" but before Leila could answer, Vincent spoke.
Her plan wasn't working as planned. "Rogers, do not speak when you aren't told to." he said, and Leila's chest seemed to be on fire as her heart kept beating faster and faster. "I'm here, to inform you, about what we, the Order, are planning for the Distruction of the Humans, and even a few Goodie Human-protecting Mutants." she snarled, eying the trio darkly. "Now please, do not cut me when I'm speaking!" she said, in her deepest, most threatening tone.
It didn't sound half bad, she could get used to the faces that chilling voice of hers could make. "Now, the Haywire." she said, "We plan on releasing a Gene that will kill Humans, and quite possibly affect Mutants all-together." she explained, her voice back to the soothing, flirtasious tone she'd usually use with Sam or any man she came across. "We heard about the Haywire. But never in full details. So this will destroy the Humans, am I correct?" the asian woman spoke up for the first time, her voice cold and sharp.

Leila nodded, ignoring the sudden apearance of a drunken man. She knew he wouldn't remember a word when he woke up next morning, and he wasn't even paying attention, puking his intestines out a few feet away. "The Haywire will destroy Humans, yes. But it will also affect Mutants in a negative way. That's why I'm here. to warn you, and request that you fight along side us. We will make sure that the Haywire will not harm any of you." she said firmly. The two men, especially Vincent, seemed on board, willing to do anything that involved Human Destruction, and their safety.
The woman though, Leila could feel she wasn't all that on board. "So, let's say we do fight with you. Will we get rewarded? How much money do we speak of here?" but as soon as he said that, he tensed up, feeling the ring of fire that had swelled up in Leila. "Money? Isn't your safety enough?" she asked, menacingly. The asian woman snarled, but Leila took no notice. "We offer absolute safety. If you do not accept it, you can fight to save the Humans, but your chances of survival are going to be slim." she said.
The two men nodded, glancing at one an other. "I will fight with you." the cowboy named Rogers said. "As will I." and that was enough for Leila. She knew her plan had worked after all. Now, if only she could get the Asian woman to fight with them, and not against them. She knew it would be a harder challenge then the men. The woman's face remained expressionless. Leila glared at her, waiting.

Leila really wasn't expecting this to be so easy. She certainly didn't think these Mutants would be so easy to manipulate either. Especially not the men. Now, she had the two convinced, and it was simply the young woman here who hadn't been convinced by her good-looks and manipulative ways. Of course, maybe this was why this woman looked so confident and certain of herself. "No Vincent, that's not the reason why I don't want to fight beside the Order." and Leila was offically confused. She hadn't heard Vincent speak. "No, miss Harte, you haven't. I can read minds. And right now, I know a lot about you. But I also know that you aren't lying about the Haywire." she said. Leila thought of Dr. Grey, and how he too could read minds.
Are you choosing to risk dying? The Order is strong, and could easily help us." Vincent said, Leila felt out6 of the conversation now. She could feel the Cowboy's awkwardness too. "I'm not sure Vincent. By the sounds of it, this young woman is new to the Order. She may not know all the details an older member could tell us. So, I don't know if she's been lied too, so that I can't read the truth." and that was when Leila decided to act up. "I need an answer. Will you fight with us, or not?" she said, "I'll give you a few minutes alone, so you can discuss this." and with that, she moved into the Bar.
It wasn't that crowded, being a Monday night, she had expected that. "Could I get a Voldka?" she asked, trying to keep her thoughts inm check, and hard for the Mind-reader to fully understand. So, Vincent may not be so convinced afterall, and all because his little girlfriend wasn't sure if Leila had been lied too. Leila herself, wasn't so sure anymore. She wasn't betting on it though, the Order didn't seem to have a clue what these Mutants' powers were.
She kept to herself, rejecting two men that had tried to get her attention. "I'm taken, buzz off." she had said on both occasions. And about ten minutes after her drink had arrived, the asian woman came in, a fake smile upon her face. "Hello Leila.[/coilor] she said, knowing the Bar Tender could easily hear if he wanted too. "Oh, hey." Leila said, playing along, as if this was just an old friend. "We are done." she said, simply. Leila knew this meant she could fallow her, as the woman had already started walking outside.

Now outside, Leila and the Mind-reading woman made their way towards the two men muttering close together. Leila eyed the woman beside her and then the two men again. Whatever they were saying, Leila knew it was related to her. "Ahem," the asian woman said, letting the men know she was approaching. They stopped emidiately, definately something Leila wasn't supposed to hear. She wished so badly, that she had the woman's power right now. "Leila, we have made our choice." the woman wen't on, positioning herself at Vincent's right again.
Leila nodded, showing that she was listening. "We will join you and your Team Mates afterall. All three of us, we figure it will be best if we do." Vincent said, "If ever we feel we have been used, we could easily walk away. the cowboy wen't on. "Yes, now if you excuse us, I think we are done here, are we not?" Leila nodded, they were done here. She watched as the three Mutants left, but somehow, she felt some bad vibes about the asian woman.
She leaned backwards, grabbing the zipper from the Luggage that had been trailing her back and forth all evening. Slyly, she unziped it, making sure her thoughts remained on how she had done a good job. Then, a bunch of things happened at once, Leila flew her zipper open and swung the weapon in front of her, the asian woman doubled back, flinging herself towards Leila, and the men scurried away.

Leila knew there was something strange about the Asian girl. But until now, she hadn't expected her to start a fight. She hadn't been ready for it, that was for sure. "The Dolphin is good! Now, let's see if this hurts, shall we?" Leila gritted her teeth as she fell backwards, her sword swinging and hitting the woman in the ribs. Leila felt her nose swelling up, blood trickling her chin. She had been punched in the face, but the way things were looking, the woman looked a lot worse as she crouched on all fours, clutching at her slashed side.
"Yes, the Dolphin is good." she hissed, getting up from the floor and swinging the weapon over her own head, ready to slash at the woman any second. "Did you expect me to be unarmed? Unprepared? I didn't expect a fight, but I'm no fool." she said in a menacing, deadly tone that no one would ever want to hear before dying. [color-white]"You wouldn't kill me."[/color] the woman said, almost pleading now as she read Leila's mind.
Leila tried to think hard, about all the terrible, painful, suffering memories of her days in the Lab when her mother had died. The woman cringed, definately pained by the memories she couldn't keep out. "Do you like it?" Leila snarled, edging the weapon closer to the woman, inch by inch, the woman was closer to her death. Blood kept oozing out from under her as she collapsed on the ground, face down.
Leila grinned widely, this was very fun. "Listen carefully." Leila said, her tone even more menacing. "I don't know what games you and your friends are playing tonight, but I do know one tjhing. I will tell the Order everything that happened. I will tell them what you did before dying." she said, "Yes, you will die. I will kill you." she cut the woman, as if she could hear the dying girl's mind now. "I won't go down without a fight." and Leila was thrown off balance as the girl shifted her feet to kick Leila's knees. She fell to the floor, hitting her head on the sidewalk.
As if the scene had been shifted, now the woman was standing over Leila. Blood spilling from her body like mad. Leila clung to her weapon, throwing it as hard as possible at the woman. The blade it her near the shoulder, and blood oozed out. Leila was sure that even if she died tonight, the woman would probably too. She had lost so much blood already. The two woman looked at each other, Leila feeling dizzy.
