The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Leila bit her lip as she drove past building after building. She really didn't know exactly why she was doing this, after seeing first hand what they did in the Battle at Raina's party. But something odd was beginning to happen to her, she didn't know what, but she didn't seem like the old Leila anymore. The Mutant Life had probably gotten to her after one full month at the Mansion.
Yes, one month ago Leila had been the 'new girl' that didn't know anybody, now, she was Leila, 'The girl going for the Order'. She looked at herself in her Rear-view mirror. She didn't look so bad, her blonde hair was straightened, blue extentions still there. She was wearing dark jeans and a dark hoodie, coatless, although the weather would probably say otherwise.
Finally she arrived, having seen this building before made it obvious this was the Order's Sanctuary. She even remembered the Golden Doors from the Battle. Taking a few deep breaths, Leila got out of her car and, making sure she really wanted to become an evil little girl and probably losing Sam in the process, Leila started the walk towards the Golden Doors.
Finally she was there. With a few seconds to think, Leila realized that it was now too late for any second thoughts. She really wanted to do this though, she told herself that, she was ready. She wanted to be part of the Order, even if it put all her X-Men friends in danger. The Order was her family, as the Mansion was her home. So with three knocks, Leila waited for the door to be opened up and reveal her faith.
Geo had just woken up, he wasn't sure what time it was but judging on the Darkness outside either late in the day or early in the morning. He sat up on his bed and ran his hand through his un gelled hair. He was only wearing a pair of jeans that were torn up the sides from transformation of his rock legs.
He decided that he was hungry and walked over to a pile of clothes on the floor and picked up a tight black muscle shirt. After a quick sniff to make sure it didn't stink he pulled it on and slipped into a pair of loosly tied sneakers by the door.
Walking down the hall only a few people were still out of they're rooms and Geo headed towards the main room. The sanctuary felt more and more like home every day now, a place where he could be among his kind and not with those dirty anoying humans he dispised so.
Walking past the main entrance doors he heard a knocking and looked around. The lobby seemed to be completly vacant with the exception of himself. "Is anyone going to get that?" He called out but there was no answer so he shook his head and walked up to the door.
He opened the door slightly and peaked out, there stood a beautiful blonde girl, one of Geo's greatest weaknesses. He opened the door the rest of the way and leaned against the door frame. "'Ello 'Ello, well if this isn't my lucky day." He said putting on his charming smile.

Leila stood there, watching the man from the small opening, she smiled however, when he opened the door fully. He looked pretty nice, jeans, tight black shirt, a pretty non-evil looking guy, atyle sort of like she'd see Sam wearing a few times as a matter of fact. Then the man spoke, his voice sounding exactly like she'd imagined it, going very well with his good-looks.
"Haha," she said sarcastically. "Save your breath, I'm taken." she grinned however, showing that she wasn't really minding the flirting. 'well, sort of.' she added mentally. She looked at the man one more time, then decided to say the words. "So, this is the Sanctuary, right?" she asked, her smile vannishing, replaced with a serious, dark look. She meant buisness.
"I'm Leila by the way, and I heard of you guys, 'The Order' as you call yourselves. I was just wondering, if you'd be admitting anyone else soon." she said, after waiting a few seconds. So, there was definately no turning back now. Weather she liked it or not, she'd be considered for the Team, and if she got in... Well, let's just say she'd have a hard job living at the Mansion any longer. That had been a thought she hadn't really thought up.
Taken, oh well that never stopped Geo before. He stepped back as she walked in and closed the door behind her cutting off the flow of cold air. The girl still had a flirtacious air about her so Geo didn't mind pushing further. She introduced herself as Leila, Geo slyly replied, "Well my name's Geo and it's always a pleasure making the acquaintance of a beautiful girl."
He followed alongside her as she examined her surrondings, "Yeah the one and only Sanctuary." Geo replied to her question as he looked around the building himself, it always reminded him of the mansion when he used to live there just with a dark air about it. She mentioned the Order and Geo instinctivly tensed up. Last time a beautiful blonde asked him about the Order Syn had gotten mad at him, so he decided to play this one a little closer for comfort. " Mind me asking how you heard about the Order?"

Leila's first impression of the Sanctuary was surprise. She hadn't really thought this place would look so, beautiful. There was no Dungeon air, no torches lighting the way, and no dead corpses. Leila breathed a small sigh of relief. So the guy's name was Geo, she could remember that. She ignored the last part of his introduction though, simply looking at him.
Leila froze, she hadn't expected that question. Deciding to be honest from the start, she grinned at him. "A month ago," she started slowly, letting him make out where she was coming from. "There was a battle, between the X-Men and... You guys. The Order. I was there," she paused again, choosing her words carefully. "The name 'Order' came out a lot that night, so was the Sanctuary." she said. "I researched a little bit, drove past here a few times, that's how I was sure this was the Order's home."
She nodded, letting him know she was done, she didn't dare speak again, not until he responded to all this new information. Her tone had seemed serious, even a little dark. Did she sound convincing? Did she sound as if she had no personal link to any X-Men? That she'd fight them without any second thoughts? Well, she did, though honestly, she'd have a hard time fighting Sam... Or Raina. But apart from those two, she'd hurt anyone.
Geo's eyes narrowed as she said she heard about them at the mansion attack, not in an angry threatening kind of way but a inquisitive way. How had an X mansion resident get the idea of getting the nerve to come here. Then again wasn't that exactly what he had done? Geo walked a bit in front of here to stop they're walking further into the building. "So let me get this straight. You, and X'y, wanna join the Order because we attacked the mansion. Did we intimidate you a bit?" He joked at the last bit letting out a small chuckle. "Why would a pretty girl like yourself wanna get involved with us bad people for?" He said a sly smile on his face.

Leila didn't see any humor in what she had said. So why was he taking this like a joke? She stopped in her tracks, watching him closely as he positioned himself in front of her. "Look, I'm not trying to be funny here," she said, her tone taking on a grave pitch. "I'm very serious, I want to join the Order, I have searched for many years, not finding anything about what I am... Who I am. I could help you guys, I could do a lot. I searched for long years, not knowing what I'd find... But the Order; the Order gave me an other perspective on things, I want to Join, I'll do whatever it takes to make all of you proud. I'll make the Order proud." she said, firmly.
"Please, be serious for a moment. Looks don't matter, who cares if I'm pretty or not. I would never seem like a Bad Guy too you? Well then, all the better to put me on you're Team... I'dd be a good spy, living at the Mansion and giving you all Insight on the X-Men... I could be very useful, no one knows I'm here now... No one would need to know. I'd fight with you, I wouldn't mind killing a few X-men too win for you guys. I'd die myself, to save one of you froom an X-Men." she smiled softly at him.
"But if you don't want me, if you don't think I'm good enough for you guys. I'll leave without coming back." she added, pushing her hair away from her face, her eys slightly narrowed.
"Those are some very excellent reasons for you to join us. We could surely use someone like you. I'm affraid you still haven't introduced yourself though." The feminine voice came from one of the joining hallways. The young female approached Geo and their new guest. Wearing a red t-shirt with black skulls patterned onto it along with a pair of black baggy pants. Her hair was straight as some of it draped over the front of her shoulders. Jet black with red streaks mixed in. Her hair was the girls signature in a way. It made her stand out in people's minds. Now standing before the pair was the evil girl known only as Syn.

Leila looked at Geo, her grayish brown eyes not giving in the tension. She wanted to make herself look worthy, strong, unafraid of the danger this might put her in. That the Order was truly where she wanted to be, where she was going to be dedicated too until the end of her life. She'd be a part of this new family and stick to it, until the very last Human was destroyed, putting the Mutants in complete, and total power of the Earth.
Yes, I know it's a little over dramatic, but those are the thoughts in Leila's head right now as an other part of her being starts hearing a new, familiar voice. "I'm Leila." she said, "Leila-Mariella Harte." she added, using her full name for the first time since her mother, Mrs Mariella Harte, died all those years ago.
Then it clicked who this red-haired woman was. She was the one who refered to the group as 'Order'. She was, if Leila remembered correctly, Syn.
A grin formed on Geo's face as the new girl got rather defencive, "Ok ok, calm down, it was just a little good nature fun is all." He smile was only widened by the recognizing of a voice that always brought trouble. Geo turned to the red streaked queen and nodded deeply. "Always a pleasure to see you Miss Syn." He said then straightened, "I was just greeting our newest prospect." Geo chose his words carefully, Syn knew how he was around women, blondes exspecially, he didn't want her to think that he was giving away things he shouldn't...again.
With a nod to acknowledge Geo, Syn smiled at his posture change. Returning her attention to the new arrival. "Nice to meet you Leila, as Geo has just mentioned, my name is Syn. Welcome to Sanctuary." Now that she was closer Syn looked the girl over a bit better. "SO you'd have no problem injuring or killing any of the X-Men or mansion resident who tries to get in your way?"

Leila wanted to get to the details, to the part where she'd have a firm 'yes' or 'no'. She didn't have time for some unecessary beating around the bush, not to mention the patience. Leila looked at Syn casually. She didn't seem like a woman you'd want to cross paths with. With her red-streaked hair, and striking green eyes. She had momentarily forgotten about Geo, until her spoke, startling her a little, but not enough to make her jump.
She nodded one stiff nod as Syn introduced herself. "No, I wouldn't mind." she said, truthfully. "If you heard some of the things Iv'e said to Geo here. You'd know I'm 100ยค comitted to working with you guys. Killing one or two X-Men isn't the end of the world, is it?" she said, a menacing smile edged upon her face. Now, if Syn had been a mind reader, she'd know that smile was fake. But if she wasn't one, Leila was sure she had pulled the grin off.
"From what you've said so far you sound sincere enough. I'm sure you'll get a chance to prove to us just how committed you are. Until then welcome to Sanctuary. I'm sure Geo can show you around if you'd like a tour of our facilities." Syn looked the new girl over one more time then with a nod to Geo the goth girl left.

Leila nodded, "It was nice meeting you Syn." she said, watching the red streak haired girl as she walked away, back into the shadows of the Sanctuary. So did this mean she was actually in the Order now? She turned to Geo as Syn was out of sight, looking at him full in the face. "You know, I don't think a Tour would be necessary." she said a small grin on her face. "I don't plan on staying here for a while. Don't you agree, that an Order Member being in the Mansion would be plenty of help?" she asked.
Geo gave Syn a nod as she walked off, making sure not to stare after her like he normally would, then turned to the new girl and shrugged, "Well I guess not, I mean yeah your not going to be living here but wouldn't it be odd working for us and having absolutly no knowledge of the place where we live?" He gave the statement a couple moments to sink in then continued, Besides, aren't you worried about Psychics at the mansion? Those X creeps don't exactly love us." He said a sly smile forming on his face, not like they had ever done anything in attempt to gain their favor, but he was just making a point.
