The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

( Yeah for angst! XD) (also: song is: Better days, by The goo goo dolls- I do not own~)
Because I don't need boxes wrapped in string-
Luna wasn't too thrilled about the upcoming holiday- Christmas, a time of cheer and joy, love, and warmth... presents and givings. Something Luna always wished for- a perfect Christmas with her family, though that view shattered like glass in the cold reality, that it will never be for her. The doll mistress had no happy family, her brother was dead by her hands and her parents... well she went off onto the bus without looking back, leaving only harsh words as she left an angry tears. Leaving everything behind- to try and end her misery... as measly as it sounded, as pathetic as it was- Luna wanted nothing but lock herself in her new room and sulk in the nearest corner. Bad girls did not deserve presents, bad girls did not deserve love, murders are not given joy- so why was she any different? The only thing that made Luna different was that, she did not directly kill someone- it was an accident... yet she still blamed herself...
Or designer clothes and empty things, just some faith and trust while your alive-
Luna sat tiredly in a chair eyes drooped in sadness it looked as though she had very little sleep the past few days.. which was true! The dreams- no nightmares haunted her! Everyone blaming her, blaming for their deaths, blaming her for living! "You do not deserve death! Death would be too kind!" They said... "Why?!" They cried. "Monster, abomination, Killer, MURDER!" They yelled! There was no light just darkness and an infinite swirl of voices- and then Luna would wake up, breathing hard, sweat drenching her skin, eyes wide- it would always end like that... and Luna would cry, and hope no one would notice, until she stopped sleeping all together... by now others should realize that she was not doing well, though Luna would demise them if they were to ask her whats wrong. It's none of their business! They have their problems! She had her's! But the pain won't stop... the images.. the cries... nothing will stop! Luna gripped a piece of fabric as she formed a teddy bear intent on destroying SOMETHING! Anything! Just to make her pain STOP! Tears fell down her face as she went to throw the bear... Though she stopped, deactivating it's explosive as she clutched the bear in her arms tears leaking from her eyes. "I-I I don't want this anymore! LEAVE ME ALONE!"
And the one poor child who saved this world, and the ten million more that probably could, let's all stop and take a pray for them...
Continuing on with his long journey throughout the sister hood, Blake decides to have a little fun. Putting his hands on a wall nearby, he manipulates the wall and pulls out a long board. "I hope skate boards are allowed in this school" he says with a prize winning smile on his face. Wallrunner puts his hands on the board and concentrates, soon there are 4 square wheels where wheels would normally be on a skateboard. Next he puts his hands on the wheel, and curves them gently to make each of them into a perfect circle. About to ride off he notices the huge gap in the wall he made. "Better fix this before I leave" Blake says positivly. He puts his hand into his pocket and pulls out a large handful of dirt. Blake places the dirt on the missing gap of wall, and then manipulates it to fill the gap fully. "Another job well done" he says with a joyful smile as he jumps onto his new skateboard and rides it throughout the hallways of the Xavier Sister School Mansion.
Riding his skateboard he hears somebody crying, and quickly jumps off to see a green haired girl sitting on a chair moaping. Wallrunner walks up to her slowly and says "Hey, you okay?" Seeing the girl very angry, he doesn't know what to do, but thinks its best to show he cares and decides to stick around. "Im Blake Harold's, Im new to the mansion, whats your name? Seeing the girl still silent, and apperently angry he walks across the room, gets some tissue paper, grabs a chair, pulls it towards her, and sits down on the chair backwards. Handing her the tissue, he says with a concerned tone in his voice "wanna talk?"

Luna looked at the strange new male and her eyes widened in surprise, before narrowing as she declined the help."I-I don't need your pity! I'm fine on my own... just go away..." She muttered sad and tired, as she shoved away his tissue. "I don't want to talk... It's none of your business! Just go!" She growled obviously distressed and cranky due to lack of sleep for a few days. And her consistent nightmares were not helping her much... "I just want the nightmares to end..." She spoke tiredly and sad as she clutched her non-explosive teddy bear tighter. "You... wouldn't understand." Luna said quietly as she turned away ashamed and afraid.
He felt bad for the little girl, the sorrow in her eyes, and the emotion spilling out of her like hot lava.
"I-I don't need your pity! I'm fine on my own... just go away..."
Leaning in closer to Luna, Blake said " I don't pity you, I just want to help you, are you sure you don't want to talk?" As the girl turner her back to him Wallrunner secretly pushed the ground under him down, until he was completly under the ground. Moving underground he fixed up every part of the ground that he moved by and evantually popped up infront of the green haired doll mistress again. With an innocent smile on his face he looks into the girls sad eyes and spoke softley "listen, I've seen that look that you have in your own eyes before, I know how you feel, sad, scared, alone, you feel like exploding inside, and destroying everything on the outiside."
As Wallrunner looks down on the lonely girl he see's a vase full of flowers laying on a nearby table. Moving his finger in odd motions, he manipulates the dypmr table to break the vase, and move a flower towards himself. He then transfers the water that has spilled all over the table, through the table, into the floor, and out to the ground outside where it is absored as nutrients. Handing the flower to the little girl he says with a joyful yet sympatheic and caring sound in his voice "a flower for the young lady?"
Handing her the flower, he goes on with what he was saying before. "Listen, I know that a complete stranger is the last person you want to talk to, but I've had a rough childhood to. The only way to get over it is not with anger, but by talking it out with someone." Looking at the shy girl Blake continues "when you talk about what you have on your mind, it sorta melts away, I can see that you have alot of anger bundled about inside of you. Are you sure you don't want to talk about it?" Staring at the miserable and frustrated girl clutching her teddy bear he waits for a response from her.

((Sorry for the long wait! D=))
Luna blinked with wary yet slightly shocked eyes as the guy tunneled underground and appeared infront of her. Even more surprising was when she handed her a flower from the vase he broke. "... Thanks..." She spoke quietly with a small sniff and the tiniest of smiles. "I-I really don't want to talk about it... but since you remind me of Sam in a sense- I guess... I guess I can trust you for now..." Luna mentally snorted this guy probably just thought she was a little homesick... Though Luna pushed that aside as she realized how caring this complete stranger was! Now her parents told her not to talk to strangers... but this was a safe place so-
"It's Christmas-" she started simply. "Christmas is supposed to be a joyful day, when people can be with their families and share presents and love... but- I don't have that now..." Luna stifled a sob. "I'll never see his face again! Hear his annoying laugh! Feel his rough hug!" Luna cried her eyes out. "All because of ME! My brother Owen is dead!... Christmas- it has no meaning without family..." Luna finished sadly as she looked away distraught and a lone in her mind.
Suprisingly the girl responded positively. Trusting Blake, to some extent, even though he was a complete stranger to the doll mistress. The next words that she said, made Wallrunner laugh. "I-I really don't want to talk about it... but since you remind me of [glow=red,2,300]Sam[/glow] in a sense-"
Chuckling, about the comperison between Sam and himself, Blake quickly transitoned to a state of quietness, so he could fully turn his attenion to the task at hand, Luna. As she finished off her statement about killing her brother, Blake realized that this girl had much more pain and agony inside of her than expected. Staring into the tourmented eyes of Luna, he tried to rest his hand against Luna's shoulder and softley told her "Listen, I know that this is probabely a hard time for you. Christmas is a time for families to be together, and you have the Xavier mansion, this is your home now." Knowing that the girl would never see this place as a true home, he continued on with his rant. "Besides, your brother, and your entire family will always be with you, as long as you believe they are. Your brother, he's always watching you." Feeling so bad about this poor girl, Blake decieded to tell the green haired mistress about his mother.
"My mom died too, and I miss her all the time. Your not the only one who feels pain. You should be happy to some extent, you have friends here who can watch over you. My mom died when I was about your age, my dad physically and verbally assaulted her, abused her. She finally commited suicide." Tearing up a bit, the earth elemental put aside his own feeling and concentrated on Luna. "I never forgave my dad, not even now. The only difference is, that now you have others to watch out for you, I didnt have anyone. I had to teach myself defence, and I still wake up mornings wishing that it was all a dream, and that my mother would still be there, to make her special pancakes, but I have to realize that what is done is done, and that she will always be with me in spirit."
Feeling some kind of connection, between himself and the emotinal young girl, he knew that these two would become very close in the future. The tale of his mother, and the tears in the girls eyes, were to much for Wallrunner to handle. Some kind of strange force, much like what dragged him towards Cold Steels room, gave him the erge to hug Luna hard, to take away the pain. Luna's pain, and his own pain. Even though he was a complete stranger to the girl, without giving it a thought. He reached in and attempted to give her a huge hug, sobbing a bit in the process.

"I-I realize I'm not the only one with pain or tragedies I really do!" Luna looked away ashamed, "But apart of me is selfish, selfish and wanting everyone to pity me in some way...." Luna confessed feeling terrible at the moment as some tears fell from her eyes onto the floor. The green haired Mistress wiped away some remaining droplets as she looked at the man with sorrowful eyes.
"I want the pain to go away but... really.. I just have to bare it. Everyone does right?" she asked not expecting an anwser. Though through her musings her mind finally came in contact with Blake's story! His Father- how can someone be so cruel?! His mother... died way to early... he was one of many who lost something even in normal circumstances! Luna felt very low now.
"I-I'm sorry-" She went to apologize as she realized what her pain meant and how others could help her... Though the sudden big hug caught Luna off guard as she found that the man was crying a little as well! Luna wrapped her small thing arms around him as she cried a little more to release anymore pent up frustration.
Pulling away, she gave a small smile as Luna looked into the man's eyes. Funny- everyone I met so far are so nice..." Luna laughed. "Makes me feel like Grinch." She spoke with a little mirth in her voice as she looked at the man. Luna blinked finally realizing something! "Um, hey! I never got your name! I'm.. Luna- Luna Highland." The proclaimed girl spoke with a tomboyish tone to her voice, for introduction purposes only of course.
It seems Luna is turning back to her cheerful little self- little by little... maybe this Christmas for the lyoung Doll Mistress wouldn't be so bad?...
Recovering from the sad moment, he laughed and apologized for the flurry of hugs. "Hahaha, sorry about that, don't know what came over me. My name is Blake, Blake Harolds." Giving a faint smile, he responded to Luna's comment a bit early about wanting all the attention. "Ofcourse you want attention when your sad, we all do. Just because we want to see how many people care about us enough, enough to talk to us about it, Luna." Getting up, he leaves the chair for a second, and grabs to glasses of water, one for himself one for the doll mistress.
Sitting back down on the chair, he sipped his water while he handed Luna the other glass of the refreshing bevarge. Whiping his mouth of water, he told Luna that she is welcomed to spend christmas with him, "hey, if you have nothing planned, I'd be honored if you joined me for christmas, though I'm not sure what I'm doing yet." Deciding to change the conversation from Christmas cheers, or tears, to something less emotional, he brought up the subject of mutant powers. "Well, you might have noticed already, but if you don't know yet, I'm an earth manipulator. So whats your power miss Highland?
Feeling a bit tired, he saw a nearby chair a flexed his finger towards him. He manipulated the wall behind the chair, to push it towards his feet. He then pushed the wall back to it's original place, and rested his feet on the chair. "Sorry about that" ;D he said with a big smile. Now he waited for an answer, to his many questions.

The young female mutant blinked away her last remaining tears as she smiled ever so slightly. Her remaining sadness practically gone as she looked with childish fascination at Blake's earth manipulating powers. To say Luna wasn't shocked was like saying she didn't like ribbons- in other words, she was most likely shocked. As simple as the gesture was of giving her the glass of water before hand she couldn't help but think how nice this Blake was...
With a small sip of her water, she smiled very so slightly a fraction more then the first smile. Her glass-like eyes shining like gimlets in the night sky as her child-like persona of that of a time like Christmas sparked back to life as for the first time in a while she produced a small chuckle. Close enough to a laugh but still far from it as well.
"I'd like that Blake- I need some holiday cheer- so spending time with someone would be great!" She spoke with mirth in her voice as her doll-like eyes shone with renewed happiness, just what her family would be missing to see.
"Though... I'm not sure what to do... about Christmas I mean." She elaborated as she flailed her hands in a comical manner though they slouched limply to her sides as she gave a nervous chuckle. "So... any ideas Blake?" She questioned with an owlish blink.
"Hmm, good question, what shall we do?" Thinking about something to do, he gave Luna a suggestion. Taking another sip of his water he said "Well, if anyone throws a christmas party we could definatly do that." Scratching his chin, he pondered about what they could do. "I have another idea, on my way here I saw an ice cream place near the park, I could treat you to some ice cream, do you have any other ideas of what we could do?" Yawning a little bit he looks into the shining, glass like eyes of Luna, and saw something that relieved the earth manipulator, he saw relief, and even a small smile under the eyes, pierecing through the gloomy pout. "It's nice to see a smile on your face Luna, even if it is the faintest smile you could possibly show," Blake said showing another joyous smile, with a care-free, and sensitive look in his dark brown eyes.
Finishing off the last few drops of the water he had gotten early, he told the doll mistress "you know, alot of people say that looking into someones eyes, reveals alot about the person, almost like looking into someones soul." Trying to remember a certain fact he says "Okay I think i remember what green eyes mean. Green eyes mean that you are a very happy, hyper person. You love to laugh a lot with your friends, and you are loud in large crowds. Most of the time you're smiling, but inside, you have a slight low selfesteem, and you try to cover it up with cheerfullness." Looking deeper into the doll mistress' eyes he told her "your a happy person aren't you? We all have moments where we need to cry, but people care about you, and you care about people right? I can see my reflection so cleary in your eyes, In my opinion that means you connect to people really well."
Walking up to the water machine, Wallrunner refilled his glass, and sat back down next to Luna. "You never told me Luna, what is your power?"

Luna frowned slightly at what Blake said about her eyes, the giggled a bit. "Ha ha! That would be true IF my eyes were green!" She laughed as she pointed at her right iris. "My eyes are actually hazel.. but I get where your coming from Blake..." She calmed down on her laughing a little bit more as she had a small smile on her face. "I'm not that cheerful, but your right about most things..." She trialed off as she looked away slightly eyes downcast in thought. Before she looked back at the Geomancer. "As for my power? Well it might sound "childish" but I make teddy bears and- make them explode~" Luna said emphasizing the explosion with her hands going to her sides. Before sobering up and looking at Blake with shining cheerful eyes.
Realizing that Luna's eyes were actually hazel, Blake came up with some kind of bizarre excuse to cover up for his error. "Uhmmm, yea sorry, the lighting is funny in here and it makes your eyes look sort greenish," he told the doll mistress, laughing and scratching the back of his head. As Luna walked away Wallrunner let out a brief sigh, and told him self "uhhh, I really need to get some glasses, idiot."
