The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

As morning arrived the Wallrunner stood up and stretched out a bit. The students of the Institute started looking out the windows at this stranger by the school. Blake stared at the school as he did some earth manipulation exercises :storm: , and then, someone emerged from the door of the institute and a faint voice said "Welcome to the Xavier Sister School for Gifted Youngesters". Blake walked forwards toward the figure and extends his arm "Hello, my name is Blake Harold's and I rode here from Los Angeles to apply for a job here at the Xavier Institute. It was very early in the morning when Leila got dressed for work. She had a shift at the Café at nine, but somehow she couldn't sleep an hour longer. Three hours to get ready wasn't exactly necessary was it? Oh well, maybe her employee discount would come in handy for once. Gah, she hated coffee, but with her Essay due monday, she needed to do a few all-nighters this weekend and last night, she had fallen asleep at midnight, not a good start.
Climbing down the stairs, Leila still couldn't help but be awed about the beauty of this Mansion. She had been here for how long now? three weeks? She was getting quite used to this place by now, though she couldn't really say the same about using her Powers on a daily basis. That, was hard. Something else that was hard? Getting used to the people who used their abilities around her. Sam on the other hand, she had gotten used to his even before coming at the Mansion.
Leila walked outside, smelling the fresh Winter air. It wasn't so cold today, her jacket was warm enough so she could enjoy the sunrise. To her surprise however, someone was already waiting in front of the Mansion. Smiling, she decided to greet him. "Welcome to the Xavier Sister School for Gifted Youngesters!" she said, her voice a little hoarse and faint after not using it all night. "Blake huh?" she smiled, "I'm Leila," she started shaking hands with the newcomer.
"I'd be happy to show you around if you wish, althougfh I'm not the right person to speak with for a job." she said, not knowing herself who to speak too. "I could speak to a friend of mine," she added. "Maybe he could be a little more helpful." she grinned at him as she opened the front doors and let him in first. "Alright, this is our heaven on earth!" she said cheerfully, waiting for his reaction to the beauty of the Entrance Hall.
Staring at Leila, Blake looks in awe at the amazing school, the students rushing to their classes, the halls stretching out as far as the eye can see. "Wow this is paradise" Blake mumbles to himself as a large stampede of students run passed him and Leila seperating him away from the Innocent looking girl. "Darn it where did Leila go?" He says frantiquely.
"Hmmm I guess theres no harm in looking around a little", Blake says with a grin on his face. He continues walking, looking for anything intresting he can find. Looking out the window he notices the swimming pool "wow this is like a 5-star hotel" he says happily. Making his way to the elevator, he decides to look at the other floors. "Hmmm, Up or down, where shall I go? Ini Meenee Mini MO!" Blake sings as he pushes the up bottom and makes his way to the upper floors of the mansion.
As the doors of the elevator open, he looks in curiously at the dorm rooms, "Nice place" he says nicely to himself. When voices start to near, Blake hides not knowing wheter hes aloud up here. After two young mutants make their way, not noticing him, he feels re-assured enough to continue walking. Blake made his way, a strange force seemed to be dragging him towards one room, like the curious man that he indeed was, he knocked, and then opened the door finding noone inside.
"These, are the bedrooms? They are huge"! He yells in excitement. He saw a bunch of stuff, and even though he knew it was wrong to go through other peoples materials, he decided to take the risk anyways. Before Wallrunner could lay his hands on one possesion, he felt what he thought was ice cold breath, breathing down the back of his neck. "Shit, im screwed...."

Sam was walking back to his room slightly agitated seeing as his lucky shirt had bacon grease all over it. ‘Just my luck, today is gonna suck…’ thought Sam as he rounded the corner and approached his doorway. Sam stopped and put his back to the door, he always kept door locked always! So why was it open? Sam’s mind shot to the first thing that popped into his mind…’T.A.T.’
Sam’s body slowly started moving again as he formed a large katana made of ice and slowly and silently crept in his own room. Almost Instantly Sam formed two golems right behind the fellow that was stupid enough to break into his room. The golems stood each at Seven feet tall and were thick enough to stop a good amount of damage before Sam could adjust to the situation. Sam pressed the tip of the blade at the back of the man’s neck.
"Shit, im screwed...."
Sam nodded silently, “Yeah you are, who sent you and what the hell are you doing in my room?” Sam kept the blade pressed to the back of the neck not moving at all, if he was smart he would put his hands up and talk facing the opposite direction on Sam. ‘How the hell did they find me?’ thought Sam as he pushed the thought out of his head to confront the situation.

Leila grinned at Blake as he mumbled things to himself. "I know, this place is pretty sweet, isn't it?" she asked, as a few students came walking by, definately late for their Classes. Leila could make out a few familiar faces in that crowd, but when her attention snapped back to where Blake would supposedly be, he wasn't there. Leila however, spotted him a few feet away, in the Bedroom direction. Leila knew the way to Sam's; litterally by heart now.
The two friends had gotten pretty close over time, Leila wasn't surprised that they were nearly a couple. Well, more like friends with benefits for now. She was sort of dating Slate... But truthfully, Sam was hotter then Slate was, and she liked the Ice Man a lot... So why didn't she date Sam instead? I mean, sure Slate was an okay guy, but Sam was way better for Leila... She didn't want to hurt either of them, especially now.
As she stumbled around, trying to catch Blake before he got himself in trouble, her mind was racing ahead. She hadn't thought about it much; Slate or Sam? Sam or Slate? Before she could make a solid decision though, her first idea of where Blake was heading was confirmed. Definately Sam's bedroom. "Blake!" she yelled, but Sam had also entered behind the man. "Oh, geez what fun this'll be." she muttered, and entered behind Sam and the Ice men.
She wasn't even surprised that moving Giant Ice sculputres were here. Sam's abilities had sort of stopped scaring her by now. "Sam, this is sort of my fault... This is Blake-" she glared at the man who had broken in someone else's room before going on "-He was asking for a job, so I took him inside, started showing him around and talking a bit, but he sort of ran off on me." she glared once more, her expression near hatred as she glanced at Blake again.
"So, blame me." she said, grinning at him slightly.
Not knowing what the dangerous man was talking about, Blake didn't say a word, trying to analize the situation. Looking for a way to get out of the bedroom, he looked at a mirror in the room, noticing the giant ice sculptures. Knowing he could use his powers to get away, he thought it would be better to stay quiet.
At the edge between life and death, the saviour Leila arrived right on time, and a sigh of relief came from Wallrunner. "Yea, dude, it was all a misunderstanding" he said shaking more then an earthquake." With the ice katana still resting against his head he did his best to help calm down the situation along with Leila "I'm sorry, i was just curious, this place is amazing and I really didnt mean to evade your privacy." "Maybe, maybe we can all just calm down, and handle this like mature adults" Blake said quietly."
Feeling like he was about to piss his pants he asked Leila "Am I gonna be okay, cause I really, really feel in trouble right now." Not knowing what to do, Wallrunner decided to use his powers, to get out of this sticky situation. Trying to diffuse the situation "come on dude, think about your first time arriving here, it's an amazing situation, and I just wanted to explore" he secretly uses his ability to push a small section of the floor downwards, seperating him from the freezing temperatures of the katana. He gets up and rolls away moving the section of the ground back to its original position. "Sorry dude but I really don't like icicles. "
Sir I see that we got off on the wrong foot here, and I'm really sorry." "So I'm guessing your the greeter Leila told me about, not feeling very welcome." "Besides what were you talking about? How the hell did they find me" he said questioning Cold Steel. "Waiting for an answer from somebody, he hushed up.

Sam was pissed this dude had no right being here and if he was sent to kill Sam he would be dead in seconds… he broke into his room he invaded his privacy…Sam looked over to the drawer by the night stand where his wallet was a noticed it was still tapped together ‘good the picture and the badge are fine,’ thought Sam silently as he refused to lift the tip of blade from the guys neck.
Sam’s reaction didn’t change as Leila walked into the room the blade still was on the guy’s neck, he would have no problem killing him if it wasn’t for Leila. Sam nodded as the two minions slowly sidestepped to allow Leila to enter his room; she was welcome there however this fellow wasn’t…
"Sam, this is sort of my fault... This is Blake-""-He was asking for a job, so I took him inside, started showing him around and talking a bit, but he sort of ran off on me." "So, blame me."
Sam’s expression changed, well if he was here for a job that was a bit different, maybe Sam didn’t need to kill him… but he defiantly was gonna get yelled at regardless. Sam looked to Leila and said, “It’s alright” Sam slightly lifted the katana from the fellows named ‘Blakes’ neck. Sam couldn’t be mad at Leila, there was something about her that Sam couldn’t place but he liked it.
'Sir I see that we got off on the wrong foot here, and I'm really sorry." "So I'm guessing your the greeter Leila told me about, not feeling very welcome."
Sam’s rage spiked a little more before he took a deep breath and exhaled he was skating on thin ice… Sam let go of the ice katana as it held in the place where it was held only to shatter into tiny pieces of ice that reflected the sun off them and faded into nothing. The two large golems however didn’t disappear. “I would appreciate it greatly if you left my room Now!!” Snapped Sam trying to hold his temper back. “I’ll greet you all you want out side of my room!”

Leila gave a sigh of releif at Sam's words. "It's alright," was all she needed to hear, not for Blake's sake, he could do whatever he wanted to him, but for their friendship sake. Then, as she glanced at Blake once more, he started speaking. What? Greeter? She hadn't even said his name! Why would he suppose it was this guy? Leila knew a lot of guys here, this could just be an other one of her friends... Not necessarily a greeter.
Then Sam snapped. Leila watched him yell at the other man in disbelief. This was crazy, she had never seen him lose it like this. And only for finding someone breaking in his room. Leila put a hand on his shoulder, "Calm down a little Sam, he didn't do anything, I swear to god he was only here for less then a minute. I saw him enter." she whispered, low enough for Blake not to hear. She kept a hand on his shoulder still, even when he seemed a little more calm. 'Just in case,' she told herself.
Leila glanced behind her at the Ice Men and smiled softly. Then she turned her attention back to the two men, hoping this wouldn't turn into a full on fist fight. She had no idea what Blake's powers were, and if it was strong enough to kill Sam, she'd hate herself and then beat the crap out of Blake. "Your an idiot, you know.," she said loudly to Blake, letting her hand slip from Sam's shoulder and approaching Blake with an expression that anyone, even muscular men would fear. "You shouldn't be here, If your one of those undercover bad guys, I won't stop Sam from hurting you." she said, her body shifting a little so that she had both men in view.
"And Sam could kick your ass pretty easily, I witnessed it a few times." and she gave Sam a wink. Hopefully this had scared off this guy, enough so that he wouldn't want to pick a fight.
Staring at Cold Steel, Wallrunner show his powers by shooting a spike out of the ground, and hitting the wall next to CS. “Don’t get me wrong, I have good aim, I just missed on purpose” he says while moving back towards a wall, leaning against it, ready to use his powers if CS blows his top. Hm, now I don’t want to fight, I just wanted you two to know that you don’t scare me” Blake says with a calm look on his facing, breathing in and out slowly, to maintain his calmness. "I see that we got off on the wrong foot, and maybe we can just talk about this calmly. All I wanted to do was get a job here, so I can be around my own kind, and learn how to use my powers better. I hope you forgive me for the intruding.
“Let’s just talk about this like mature adults, or at least as mature as we can be” Blake says. “Leila, I don’t know why, but I came in here, I’m sorry for that, please forgive me, I’ll do anything you or Icy over there wants.” Looking into Leila’s eyes with an innocent smile, and puppy dog eyes he says softly “please forgive me, I really want to earn your trust and respect again.” Sam, sir, I’ll do whatever you ask, I know that I caused a lot of problems here today, and if you ask me to right now, I’ll leave and never return”, the earth manipulator says while looking at him with eyes filled with sorrow, "but I wouldn't leave cause you told me to, I'd leave cause you and Leila seem really close.
"Don't deny it, I can see that connection between you to, but I don't think your good enough for Leila, Blake says with a grin on his face, and an eyebrow raised. "Hey Leila, if you ask me to leave, I will, because you are the nicest, most gorgeous person I have ever seen, and the last thing i'd ever want to do is to hurt such a precious thing, Blake says while looking into the eyes of the beautiful girl. "Just say the word and I'm gone, he says while giving CS a quick glance. Taking a step forward and taking Leila's hand. Smiling a little, he leaned forward to kiss her.

Leila frowned, her arms crossed over her chest as she stared menacingly at Blake. He had nearly hit Sam with that spike, sometyhing she wouldn't stand for. "Don't you go and make some excuses." she snapped, "You do want to fight; I can read it in your expression. You do want to fight him, I don't know why, but you do." she said, not exactly knowing wheere she was coming from with this. Her features remained calm and furiously dangerous though.
"What? Mature? You seriously think it's Mature to just run into someone's room because you feel like exploring? Dude, you haven't been in here for a minute; no one knows who you are! Don't think for one minute that---" but she cut herself off, exhaling a deep breath. Calm down Lei, calm down... Everything was going to be alright; somehow. Before she could go on however, the awkwardness begun.
He was staring into her eyes and speaking nonesense, as if he had known her for a long time and was in love with her or something. Leila made a grimace in Blake's direction as he mentioned how herself and Sam seemed as if they had a connection, as if they seemed to get along; of course they did! But then the next things he said made her lose it. "Don't you---" she snarled, yes, snarled. "Don't you talk about Sam like that!" she said in a high pitched tone.
"He's the bestest guy you could ever want! He's probably twice the man you are, twice the man you'll ever be! Don't tell me he's not right for me, I think I can tell that by myself thanks," she took an other deep breath, getting ready for the worst. Now he was telling her she could tell him to leave? Oh, this was perfect! No wait, this was even better! She saw him leaning forward, she did the same. When he closed his eyes, she pulled up her hands into a fist and punched him hard in the nose.
"DON'T TRY AND KISS ME YOU IDIOT!" she said, knowing the entire mansion could probably hear this clearly and make out who was the speaker and where she was standing. The entire room seemed to shake, she hoped she hadn't freaked out Sam or anything. "I hate you, I seriously hate you!" she added, calming down a little, "Kill him Sam, I don't mind." she added in a faint whisper as she turned back, her face flushed with fierce discust and hatred.
"Kill him!" she added walking over beside the Ice Manipulator again, glaring at Blake.

Sam didn’t flinch when the guy threw the pillar as it impaled his room, he didn’t even blink Sam was only thinking how many times he would have been killed in those brief seconds it took him to throw it. Yes Sam was thinking about killing again but… he had reason, yes he broke I his room but what really pissed Sam off was he left his picture and fake yet very convincing government badge in his dresser which was reason enough to kill, those were the only things Sam had to remind him what kind of hell he had been threw and that he one day had to find his brother. Six times Sam counted in his head six times he could have been dead six times he could have formed a small ice pick to the temple the jugular the heart, hell he could have formed his ice golems. Sam shook his head trying to calm down, he had a home now and Leila was here, two things that were reason enough not to kill.
Mature adults? Mature adults don’t break into someone’s room insult him and then throw a spire in his direction, but again Sam bit his tongue trying to be the mature adult. He started to breath again, then he said something that was one none of his business and nothing no right saying. Sam was about to smile and forgive everything just so he could get some alone time with Leila…but then Blake opened his mouth again, insulting him once again saying he wasn’t good enough for her. Sam’s thought of a smile died right away as the voice of his golems cam into his head, ‘Aww hell no stomp this punk out here if you don’t we will’. Sam shook his head again trying to get rid of thoughts like that when Leila stepped up.
Sam had never before seen Leila look so… angry. He didn’t know why but he kind of liked it, it might have been because her face looked cute that way or the fact that she was insulting Blake while building Sam up. Then he saw it the slow motion kiss while the eyes were closed… Sam’s powers started to activate as the room slowly got colder but then quickly warmed up when Sam saw the punch from Leila. ‘Oh this is perfect’ Sam thought to himself as Leila walked over towards him. "DON'T TRY AND KISS ME YOU IDIOT!" "I hate you, I seriously hate you!" Kill him Sam, I don't mind." "Kill him!"
Sam paused as he turned his head from Blake to Leila, Sam was a little shocked with the passion in her voice but he loved it. Sam just looked to the guy, ‘now is you chance… do it…’ said the voices of the golems in Sam’s head. But Sam walked over to the guy and formed a large block of ice in his hand and held it out to Blake. The voices screamed, ‘WHAT ARE YOU DOING KILL HIM!!!!’ Sam just smiled and said, “for your nose”. Sam did feel bad for the guy even if he felt like killing him he couldn’t, Blake reminded him of a scared lost little kitten all alone, of course once Sam had the chance Sam was going to lay him out in the Danger room but now… now he had to be a greeter.
Sam looked to Leila and smiled saying, “ I would love to but that punch was enough for now…” Sam looked back to Blake, “Blake if I see or hear you breaking in to peoples rooms cause you want to go exploring, I’ll talk to the heads of this place and have you out of here so fast you’ll have know idea what happened.” Sam sighed and walked over to Leila and said, “My job is to show you around so come on…” he motioned for Blake to follow him. Hoping Leila wouldn’t be to mad at him for pulling the trigger. Sam stopped right by the door way and kissed her smack on the lips. Then turned to Blake and said, "Come on.." hoping this time Blake would follow.
Leaning in closer towards Leila, the best had come, Leila closed her eyes and had come in for the kiss. Blake couldn't believe it, as they got closer and closer, BAM! Wallrunner got nailed in the nose by Leila. "Owww!" he yelled in a short second, and then acted cool once again. "Well your a feisty one aren't you?" Blake says with a smile on his face, holding his bleeding nose.
DON'T TRY AND KISS ME YOU IDIOT!" "I hate you, I seriously hate you!" Kill him Sam, I don't mind." "Kill him!"
Staying cool he said with that prize winning smile "Awww, that hurts coming from you sexy." Waiting for a response, he was suprised when CS walked towards him. But Blake wasn't suprised that he walked towards him, he was suprised that he held out an ice wall and said
"for your nose"
Instead of excepting the Ice, he instead shattered it by manipulating the spike he had thrown early, into the wall it had penetrated, travelling it through each wall until it had arrived to the wall behind him, and shoot it out again shattering the ice into many small pieces.
As Sam went on with the lecture he left as Blake stood there. When CS kissed Leila, Blake followed, and then stopped for a few seconds to give Leila I a few last words. "I really am sorry about all this sweetheart, I was just curious is all, hope u forgive me." Continuing his walk he stops one last time. "Oh, and just so you know, I'm a much better kisser," he says while he pats her on the cheek, and gives her a quick wink, Blake follows Sam out of the room.
While leaving the room, he whispers into CS's ear, "this isn't over frosty. Oh and I'll keep my I on, you, just like I'll know you'll be keeping an eye on me." Blake glares at Cold Steel, seeing a flare in his eyes. "Heh, for an iceman you really seem to have had trouble keeping your cool early. I don't know what it is about you, but right away I have a negitive attitude towards you." Staring at the man he has had many problems with he raises his hand out. "A fresh start?" he asks. Attempting to shake his hand he squeezes it very hard. "Hmm, you have a very strong grip", he lets go of Sam. Blake continues walking, staring back at Cold Steel.
"Oh and while were talking, let me just telll you things, I truely am sorry for the whole invading your privacy, I did the wrong thing, and for that I beg you and that sweethearts apology. Second of all, your little girlfriend, heh, well soon she'll be with someone else" Blake says with a huge grin, and another one of his infamous winks.

Leila's anger quickly drowned away as Sam's smile reached to her, the word Blake had just called her didn't make it near enough to sink in. Coming from him, 'Sexy' meant nothing Anyway, back to Sam's smile. It seemed to calm her down, making her feelings of hatred for Blake vannish....a little. So, Sam wasn't angry. Maybe what she had done sort of made him feel better? She could only imagine what he could of done, remembering how he had killed those Computer Robots in the Danger Room only confirmed her thoughts. How could she fall for this dangerous man? Usually, she was all for the artistic, sporty guys. Not the big, muscular strong ones that could kill with one punch!
But who cared what this man could do? She had him wrapped around her, she had never felt like this; ever! She didn't really listen or watch to much of what Sam had to say to Blake afterwards, her thoughts remained around the fact that she and Sam may have a possible future together. He seemed to glow at how she had stood up for him, complimented him so much. Then, to her surprise, the fight seemed over. What? Already? Sam didn't seem injured, but neither did Blake. Geez!
But yet again, she was distracted, having Sam's lips smashed against yours was pretty much enough to distracvt you. Leila wrapped her arms around his neck, taking in his smell, his touch, his taste. Definately his taste. Half of her craved to see the look on Blake's face as he saw that Sam hadn't been punched. Leila smirked slightly as they broke apart, deciding she could give Blake an other chance at life. But if he tried anything else against her Sammy, he'd pay!
Pecking Sam on the cheek, she watched the two men closely as they stood close to each other. "Don't waste your breath." she added, as he tried to apologize. "And I doubt your a better kisser." she added, smiling in Sam's direction. She spun around, plopping herself on Sam's bed, waiting patiently for him to return from his Offical greeting. Hopefully he wouldn't take long, she wanted to start off where the two had left off.

Sam didn’t really pay that much attention to Blake, he was huffing and puffing about something but Sam’s attention was to focus on the beauty up in his room. He was going to go up there after he was done with this task. Once Sam and Blake were down stairs Sam noticed Blake had his hand outstretched. Sam took it of course and gave his usual firm grip.
After they let go of each other’s grasp Blake said something about Leila not being his for much longer and then winked, Sam laughed at Blake, “Well we aren’t technically dating. So she isn’t mine and she is free who she wants to be with, and from that little incident you two had earlier I don’t think she will come to you.” Sam smiled hoping to hurt Blake’s pride. Sam then walked over to a drawer and pulled something from it, it was the paper work the new residents needed to sign and a map of the mansion, everything that was accessible to the residents, and a room key. Sam was specific in pulling it out of the drawer it was one of the rooms farthest away from his room and even further from Leila’s room. Sam handed Blake the papers and room key, “Alright man everything you need is right here. If you are serious about looking for a job, just fill it out right here.” Sam the nodded to him and said, “well Blake it was nice meeting you but, Leila is waiting for me!”
Sam turned and started heading up the stairs to his room. Glad he wasn’t booted from the mansion for killing someone who wants a job.
“Well we aren’t technically dating. So she isn’t mine and she is free who she wants to be with, and from that little incident you two had earlier I don’t think she will come to you.”
"Mhmm, yea you lay one on a girl and your not together." Blake says with a slight sigh of dis-belief. Listening to Cold Steel's positive attitude he says looking straight into his he saw something that he hadn't before, calmness, and happyness, "listen, I know the only reason your not laying me out right now, is cause your doing your job, and you want to go upstairs and have a grand time with your little lady Leila." Before Cold Steel leave's Wallrunner tells him one last thing.
"Know this, I'm not into your godess, I was just trying to get to your last nerve, now go on, have a good time with your girl,"after a short pause Blake Harold's continues, "oh pardon me, I forgot, your not technically together," while CS continues to walk away he yells across the room "TIHIS LOOKS LIKE THE START OF A BEUTIFUL FRIENSHIP, OR RIVALRY!" Blake says rolling his eyes. As some left, Blake leaned against a wall going through his job application. Taking a pen out of his pocket, he filled in everything, and was gone.
