Your responsibilities as a member of the Mod Team would include:

• Weighing in on those uber-clandestine Mod Board discussions,
  
• Handling questions in the Cbox/around the site,
  
• Maintaining MRO's respectful and welcoming OOC atmosphere, especially in the greeting of new members,
  
• Being willing to take on the current Moderators' duties if RL issues should call them away for a bit, and
  
• Keeping a general eye out on threads for raunchy smexiness, unapproved power growths, and other Terrible Horrible Things.

We are looking for active members who love this site and want to help it continue to evolve and prosper. Natural peacekeeping abilities are a plus.

After discussing all applicants, the Mod Team will choose zero - two people to join the team.

Attention MROers! The Mod Team has just gained two new members.

The first should come as no surprise: the player of Ghost and Lori. She joined us during last Winter's Registration Act, and quickly became one of our most active members, both IC and in the Cbox. Her wit, level head, and clear dedication to the site are among the reasons she was chosen. Ghost's Mod name will be Sennyo; in kanji that's 仙女, which means fairy, nymph, or elf in Japanese.

The second has only been with us since this Fall, but is quickly proving himself to be as addicted to this site as the best of us. Luke's creativity in directing the plot, talent for creating compromises that leave both sides better off, and eternally welcoming presence in the Cbox speak for themselves. Luke's Mod name will be Thoth, after the Egyptian god of wisdom, mediation, and counseling.

Please give your warmest congratulations and support to Sennyo and Thoth.
