He was glad he could help get this kid to the infirmary and get him to DocProf.

the young man and Neena leave the infirmary , he was alone with DocProf. when they leave he start to take out the bandage to continue with the healing . Fausto didnt tell anything and he do the same.

i dont nothing about justice and life ? i am too young to know about these things right? let me give you a bad news ,you arent the first that said that . what about what i feel ? you dont know that , right? i am alone ...nobody in this stupid world make me feel loved and important ... nobody asked me how was my day ... because i am alone ...between 6.6 billion of humans and mutants in this world i am alone , i knew that i am not the only one alone but... kids need a hug sometimes ,someone to hug them even when they did something wrong ,someone to said ¨dont worry sweety i am here with you .¨ mom always hugged me and said that ... that simply sentence erased all my fears and make a invisible barrier around me ... ¨...i am with you...¨ but she isnt here right now ... i am walking alone in this long road . i hope mom and dad arent angry for what i did ...

Neena reentered the Infirmary, holding a plate of grilled cheese sandwiches. It was the fastest thing she could think of to make, and seemed to draw a number of the Mansion residents to the kitchen in the process.

She made her way to Iron's bed. He looked immensely depressed. And distant.

She tapped his shoulder and held the plate under his nose.

"How 'bout we get something nutritious and non-death-inducing into that iron stomach of yours?" she said quietly.

She sat on the edge of the bed once more, and waited for him to sit up.

"I doubt it compares to anything your mom would have made, but I had to make due."

She waited patiently for him to either make a move or say something.

Fausto couldn't avoid to forced a smile when Neena give him a plate of grilled cheese sandwiches . he was a depressed and without mood to eat despite the fact he was really hungry . all the running made him very hungry. that bad is kill a bad boy ? he wasn't feeling guilty but Neena reaction made him thought about that ... his justice was wrong ? or the world is the one that is wrong and Neena live with the laws of that bad world ?
He look at her with the eyes filled with tears almost to fall.

¨thanks ¨ was the only thing he said to her ... he was really angry with her ... you dont know nothing about justice but when he start to eat the first sandwiches he couldn't avoid thinking in his mom . he finished the sandwiches quickly ... with a corrosive saliva as powerful as
the one he had , the food don't last much time ...

¨you know ... when my mom punish me for some trick i did in school or something like that she send me to bed without food ... but a exactly a hour after that she came to my bedroom with a meal and give me a big hug , you make me remember that ... ¨ Fausto grins at her with a sad smile in his face . ¨i really miss my mom ... i miss dad too ¨

¨every Sunday dad and me tried to helped mom with food but we always ended eating the ingredients ... mom every Sunday bought the double of the ingredient we could eat . when my mutation awake i trick mom and ate all the ingredients , that Sunday we had to asked for pizza , that was a funny Sunday ...¨

Fausto was smiling at her , his smile was a really happy one

¨thanks ¨ Iron replied glumly.

He ate in silence, and didn't look at Neena at all. She simply sat and waited quietly.

The sandwiches disappeared quickly, and idly she wondered if Ted had met his match in eating. For a few moments he continued to ignore her. Then,

She shifted her position, and brought her legs up onto the bed, knees up. She leaned back against the wall, and put an arm around his shoulder. "I know you do, kiddo. I miss mine, too."

He let his head rest in his arm and continue speaking with her . nostalgic floated in the air but also a happy memory too.

Fausto put his hand in the raincoat^s pocket , at the side table. he took from it two rusty screws and a little wallet with a photo in it. i got it !! he took the photo and take the screws to his pocket again.

¨i have a picture of her in my pocket i couldn't take one from dad ... i was very hurry the day i go off my home . i was very afraid of the murderers, i run away the faster i could ... i never be back to the house . i don't want to go there again , that place scared me ... i don't like these kind of place , when something really bad happen the impressions of the feelings keep floating around the place ... i don't want to put a foot in that creepy place any more time . i want to stay here , please don't fired me out ¨

Neena listened quietly. Iron must have taken after his father then, instead of his mother.

Neena watched as he leaned over to retrieve something from his coat, then smiled as she looked at the photo. Her hair did resemble Katrina's a bit, in a grown up way.

"She's beautiful. Very elegant."

She squeezed his shoulder a bit in sympathy, and handed the photo back.

Neena could partially sympathize with his feelings. The fear she didn't understand, but realized that was a result of her personal mutation. However, she'd visited the site where her grandfather, her Babu, had laid with the fever that eventually killed him. Also the place where a lion had taken her youngest brother. Unlike Iron Mouth, she drew comfort from the memories of her family in those places, not fear. But yes, feeling tended to surface in places like those he spoke of.

"... i don't want to put a foot in that creepy place any more time . i want to stay here , please don't fired me out ¨

Neena took a deep breath, and let it out carefully, so as not to sigh.

"You don't have to leave Fausto. I understand why you did what you did. I'm not sure what I would have done, if I had been in your shoes. Losing a family hurts more than almost anything."

She paused. The boy was distraught, and she needed to word this carefully.

"But you have to realize, this country has a set of channels that we have to go through to correct a problem. It's difficult to abide by sometimes. But its the way things are. Until we can change them, then we have to obey them."

She squeezed his shoulder again, then stood. She didn't care much for the role of Disciplinary, but unfortunately it was part of her job description.

"I'm not going to kick you out, but I am confining you to school grounds for at least two weeks. No sports, no pool, and no lake privileges. Also, for an hour every day this week you'll join me in the Danger Room for a boot-camp obstacle course. And...."

She had a feeling he was not going to like this part one bit.

".... I want you to use the Library computers and track down the family of the man you killed. Bring the information to me when you find it. If you haven't by the end of the two weeks, the grounding stays in effect until you do. Understood?"

Some would say she was too harsh, others would say she wasn't harsh enough. Some would say he shouldn't be punished at all, others would say she needed to let the authorities deal with him. Everyone would have an opinion on how she should have handled it.

When and if the opportunity came around, then everyone could handle it in their own way, and let everyone else criticize in their own turn.

Fausto made a big a smile to her when she said he will be playing in the Danger Room with her one hour every day of that week .

that would be amazing !! you aren't suppose to enter in the Danger Room without permission if you are under 16 ... but there have to be a trick , it would be fantastic to enter there but ... what is the punishment ?

he was almost starting to open his mouth to ask her about the bad part of that when she said he would have to search information about the man family ...

he stop a second with the accusation to Neena , she was doing the right thing ... his actions must be punish. looking that would be painful but perhaps he would learn a few things about justice and life ... and most important responsibility for his actions ... he look at his hands a second , after make up his sight and start to talk with Neena more calmly and with a sad voice.

¨ sorry Neena , forget what i said ... you are trying to do your job and give me a lesson about the life and the real justice you talked about ... i am not sure where i can start , but i promise you to give me best and found info about his family ... i dont want to let a family in the streets just because i was making justice because that will be a paradox of injustice ...¨

Fausto seems sad and beaten but he smile again with a joyful face ...

He grins at her with a twisted smile ... his wound start to hurt again and his joyful smile twisted a little because of the pain .

Neena crossed her arms and gave him a neutral look. "It's called taking responsibility, kiddo."

"and where i could found info about that man ? i never ask him about his name , and i cant go into the police office and ask hey mr police man , i killed a man last night and i dont know his name ... i want to send flowers to the widow, could you give me a little info about his family ? ¨

She shrugged. "You'll find a way."

"Oh, I won't kill you." The grin on her face indicated she was not going to make it easy for him either. Far from it. He'd managed to take on an entire gang on an adrenaline rush. Going easy was no longer an option.

"I'll see you tomorrow evening, kiddo. Midnight, sharp." With a sharp nod, she turned and strode back out the door.
