The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. You can play as a mutant, human, or Adapted— one of the rare humans who nullify mutant powers by their very existence. Goodies, baddies, and neutrals are all welcome.

For the first time in a long time, Eris sat in the library of the Sanctuary, trying to focus on the computer in front of her. The state-of-the-art machine wasn't helping her break down any of her mysteries... in her mind anyways. Plus, the unknown enemy hadn't called her in quite a long time, and it was starting to worry her. In fact, Eris was starting to wonder if he would even go through with his plan... and deep down Eris beeged that he wouldn't

Plus, she had just gotten the true news. For six months she had wondered it, but now it was definitively true. She had known it true all along though... the evidence had been there staring her in the face obviously. But she had ignored it, and now the truth was coming to fruition. Even in the bodily form.

Katran was now obviously pregnant. The baby had been tiny earlier in the pregnancy, but now it was starting to grow at a rapid rate, and Eris was a little scared. She had never had a baby before after all. And the worst part was, it was his. He had placed this child inside her womb, and she would have to pay the consequences. And now, as ever, she hated him. With every bone in her body. Every word under her breath.

So she kept plugging away at the keys, searching for mutant pregnancy advice, trying to find some thread leading to Menace, anything to get her mind off the truth that stared up from her stomach. There's something living inside me... It wouldn't leave.

And now she was begging that if anyone walked through that door, they wouldn't recognize the truth.
