The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Many people had been working hard fixing up the Mansion while Jeramya watched, mostly from the roof of the large building. Feeling out of place he kept out of their way for the most part. He wanted to help, but he wasn't sure what to do. As nights passed he had an idea: Build a fire pit. Jeramya thought about asking Neena for permission, though he decided against it, not wanting to bother her since she seemed busy enough as it was.
There were numerous piles of debris around the mansion's grounds, some sorted some not. While most were asleep, Jeramya sifted through the piles, starting with the sorted ones. He realized quickly some of the debris was reusable in actual construction. As he searched through the debris he began to find what he was looking for, broken stone and brick that while unusable in actual construction due to it's integrity, would be perfect to either make mortar out of or to use for the walls and base of the pit.
After many hours had passed Jeramya had collected the usable material in a pile in an out of the way place of the grounds. As he held a piece of the broken wall in his hands, tapping it with his fingers, he began to think of what tools he would need to measure and shape the stone and brick. "Chalk, rope, chisel, hammer...and a shovel." He said speaking to himself aloud.
Unsure of where to start, he wandered the grounds looking for something familiar. Jeramya's eyes smiled as he found what he was looking for. 'Even though years have passed, some things never change.' The simple, though much better looking and larger than any he had been use to, tool-shed brought comfort and a sense of familiarity to him. He tried to be a quiet as he could as he looked for the items of interest.
Though the rest of the grounds seemed in a sort of disarray, the tool-shed looked like it should, organized and cluttered. A wheel barrel leaned against the wall with a few types of shovels and something he wasn't use to, a rake. Picking the rake up he saw not just the one, but other types of them. Testing it out on the ground outside, it didn't take him long to understand it's purpose. Similar to a broom in a house, it moved small material around such as small rocks, leaves, twigs and grass. "Huh...might work better than a broom or my hands." Again speaking aloud. Setting the wheel barrel on the ground he put a digging shovel and the rake into it. While he didn't find the type of rope he was looking for, he did find twine, 'It should work.' Something familiar yet with a new look caught his eye. Instead of being heavy wood with metal edges holding it together, it was completely made of metal. He slowly opened up the three-tiered black toolbox. Some of the items inside, Jeramya took out and spent many minutes messing with, trying to figure out what they were and what they were for. After wasting half an hour or more, he found a wooden and rubber mallet and a chisel. The only thing he didn't find was the chalk. Sighing slightly, "Oh well. I guess I'll just have to make due."
After shutting the tool-shed up neatly, he wheeled the tools towards his pile of debris. Along the way he stopped every so often to pick up a rock or two, testing each of them against the other to see if they left any visible marks. By the time he reached the pile he had collected seven rocks that fit the bill. The sky was becoming pink as the sun rose slowly. A cool breeze swept over his skin as he settled against a few stones on the pile. Wrapping his arms around his knees and wings around his body, he dipped his head down within the folds of his wings. 'Not a bad start...' He thought as he drifted to sleep as the first rays of the sun shooed the shadows away.

Noon soon arrived at the mansion it has been a few days since Sam arrived at the mansion and he still wasn’t as familiar with the grounds as he would like. So he decided to go for a run and check the place out.
It was a warm day and there was a sent of hard work in the air. Sam looked at various places where students were helping putting together, the rubble and shambles that was once the proud mansion. Sam felt extremely guilty in not helping rebuild the mansion, but he also felt that he would just be a nuisance, seeing as he has only been here for a few days and doesn’t know where anything goes.
It was about fifteen minutes into the run when Sam saw it. There were piles of ruble next to it. Along with what looked like tools and some lawn care equipment like rakes and shovels. Being surrounded by all this rubble was a stone statue of what looked like a gargoyle standing close to six feet tall. Curiosity got the better of Sam as he ran over to check the statue. “What the heck is this giant bird perch doing all the way out here surrounded by this trash…” it looked like it belonged on a roof of some old building glaring at passerby’s with it’s mouth open. “Anyone here?” Sam asked hoping that the kids responsible would fess up and move the statue to where it belongs.

Jeramya felt stiff as he opened his eyes just slightly, squinting at the light from the sun. He wasn't sure if it was a normal morning stiffness or the fact he hadn't done work like he had done that night in a very long time. He knew something and woken him up, but his mind still being groggy didn't quite register it completely. When he heard a voice ask if anyone was around, Jeramya turned his head slightly to regard the boy, before glancing around.
Lifting his hand he gave the boy a slight wave, "Are you talking to me?" Jeramya was sure he was as he didn't see anyone else in the area near the two of them. Quite understandably, he thought the boy was asking him if people were around, though he thought to make sure just in case.

Sam jumped, he literary jumped. Few things scared Sam but this talking Statue did the trick. Sam went from jumping to defensive stance lifting both hands covering his face while his eyes pierced through. Then Sam remembered where he was “Mutant Manor” Sam let out a laugh and said “sorry man you scared the icicles out of me.” putting his hands on his knees taking in a deep breath…”Name’s Sam, what are you doing out here?”

Jeramya wasn't sure whether to laugh or to feel bad for the boy. He had never meant to scare him. He opted not to laugh but lifted an eyebrow at the boy and scratched his head, a bit confused for a moment. 'Oooh....' Thinking to himself, as he remembered how others saw him, as he sometimes forgot that he didn't exactly look 'human' anymore. With the hand that was already extended slightly, Jeramya reached towards the boy and opened his mouth to as if he was alright. He stopped before the words formed as the boy, Sam, asked why he was where he was. 'I guess he's okay.'
"Jeramya. And I was sleeping...." He trailed off as he spoke, to him it seemed obvious what he had been doing, but also he wasn't exactly sure what Sam meant. "Ummm....Sam." Jeramya looked around near where Sam stood, "I don't see ice anywhere?" He said it both as a statement and as a question, hoping Sam would explain what he had meant.

Sam looked at him for a second…”Ohh sorry I didn’t mean to wake you.” Jeramya…he omish Sam thought then he waited for a second processing what jeramya said, ice duh, “sorry the ice thing was kind a joke” as he said this Sam turned his body and made icicles form and drop from his but making it seem he was actually scared. Then Sam explained, “I control the temperature around me creating ice from water molecules.” Sam looked at the guy and then was fixated on his eyes, kind eyes, Sam came to the conclusion then and there that he was gonna like this fellow. “So are you a mutant or an actual Gargoyle?”
Jeramya smiled at Sam and shook his head slightly, "Not a problem, I've slept for a very long time already." It would be hard to keep the surprise from his face as Sam created ice from seemingly no where. In fact Jeramya failed, his eyes were wide as he reached down and touched the ice. "Wow, I didn't know people could do something like that." As he held the icicle, he felt it begin to melt in his hand, again confirming it was real. Jeramya listened to Sam explain how he did it and just nodded, not understanding what a 'molecule' was. He rolled the sound of the word around in his head as he silently said the word a few times. 'There is much I don't know.' He thought to himself before realizing Sam had asked him a question. "Um..I was born like you. Father and Neena said I am probably a mutant, so I'll go with that." Jeramya gave Same a lighthearted chuckle.
"How long have you lived here Sam?" He asked a bit curious.

Sam took a long look at him, as he was foundling the icicle. “Defiantly gives off a Amish vibe, don’t matter I like him.” Thought Sam. Then he smiled as he said, that’s only the beginning of what I can do.” Sam then responded to the question asked, “Few days for me, how bout yourself? Also I kind of would like to know what else can you do?”
Sam took a second the asked "are you making something?”
Jeramya nodded to Sam, "Only the beginning huh? I can't imagine what else. Just this is...," He wasn't sure how what to say to Sam. Mutants and what they could do, they weren't just words or ideas anymore. He was meeting them, talking to them, they and their abilities were real and more incredible than what he had thought of before. "Oh me...Umm....ten days or so if I remember correctly. Though no one was here for some days later after I arrived. As for what else I can do, not much I'm afraid. Nothing as interesting as making ice I'm sure." He felt a bit bashful at the moment. "I mimic and become statues that I see."
When Sam asked if he was making something, Jeramya turned and looked around behind him and chuckled a bit. "Haha, yes I am. I didn't realize it would be so obvious. I didn't want people to think it was a junk pile and get rid of it while I slept, but I kinda wanted it to be a surprise as well." He laughed a bit more at himself. "Oh well, I suppose it couldn't be helped. I'm planning on building a fire pit." He picked up one of the larger chunks of stone. "It may not be possible to use in construction, but I can make use of it in the pit. Just have to chip away a few pieces here and there and shape it a bit." As he spoke he had been pointing to the excess parts of the stone and had made an imaginary line with his finger where and how it needed to be shaped. In Jeramya's mind, it wasn't a chunk of stone, but an already shaped piece of the puzzle.

“Mimicking is pretty special, I can’t do anything like that.” Sam was looking around all the rubble and could see that Jeramya had a plan, and that was good, he need a plan if he wanted to build a pit.
Sam looked to Jeramya “You want some help, with it, or some company, I am pretty good with both.” Sam was eager to help, he is pretty good at lifting and digging, Sam prided himself on his non-mutant strength.
