The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

When she was addressed, the fox couldn’t help but yip with glee, she was glad she was noticed by Neena. She found it extremely funny that Neena didn’t seem to know if it was her in this fluffy foxy body. The questions that were asked of her were not to hard to answer, though she didn’t feel like morphing into her human form to answer any of the questions. The fox was glad at this moment that she could talk normal in her fox form, it was a trait she did not share with Emerald. When her elder sister tried to speak English in wolf form in only came out in a strange growling voice that was hard to understand if you weren’t used to it.
She gave a slight wave to streak with her tail before scurrying off to catch up with Neena. Ruby followed after Neena, tail swishing back and forth in the air. The fox sat by her feet again, looking up at her with confident eyes. The teen was very proud of herself for reactivating a good number of her robots, despite her weakened state.
“I have reactivated about twenty of my robots they are working on the mansion right now. I activated them as soon as we got back. They have repaired a very small number of the dorms but they are just plain rooms since most of our furniture, clothes and stuff had been destroyed. We just have to repair all of the main rooms, hallways and the rest of the dorms.” Ruby told Neena in an informative tone.
It was true, the main dorms had been a main priority with the robots because that it was always good to have a place to stay. Or at least that’s what they had been programmed to repair first. Then it was the plumbing and electricity but after that Ruby was not able to program any more work schedules because she never finished them. But now that she had reactivated and reprogrammed them the robots were now trying to repair the rest of the mansion.
A dome shaped robot flew past the group, heading up towards a hole in the roof, it then formed robotic arms with pieces of wood in them. The metal device laid them down and then began hammering a makeshift patch over the hole. It would last for several years but would eventually have to be changed by the mansion residents.
“Oh and I’m doing okay…mostly.” Ruby paused, ears flattening docilly. She had just noticed Neena was with someone else so he took care to carefully stay next to the older womans leg. “Emmy is out though…she has been out a lot lately. I kind of miss her when she leaves from two to three days at a time.”

As Iesland walked up the hill towards the X-Mansion, a duffel bag over his shoulder, he didn't know what to expect. Hiding in a mosque from the scientists fo a couple months had distanced him from current events. When the mutant registration act was destroyed, He could finally leave for the X-Mansion.
When he finally reached a point where he could see the gates of the mansion, he almost dropped his duffel bag in surprise. His lower pair of arms had to catch it as his upper pair hung limply by his sides in surprise. The mansion was a wreck.
Now he was running to the gates, devastated that after so much waiting, a mansion with rubble everywhere and giant holes in the roof was what he got.
He saw someone he thought might be in charge walking across the lawn, so he jogged up to her and wrote "Hello. My name is Iesland Mujave, and I've come to live at the X-Mansion. Do you need some help or something with the repairs?" on the notepad he always carried with him before showing it to Raina This all came out in a rush, and his handwriting was pretty sloppy, because although it's current state was dissapointing, Iesland could see the mansion as it was, in it's full splendor.

ooc: Gargoyle, I think we agreed to have a few IC posts about rebuilding but then to just fastforward Iesland, I don't know if you have anyone in mind but if it's ok I thought since Neena went the other direction with Ruby that I'll have Raina welcome you. That way you aren't left waiting.
ic:
Raina turned when the gargoyle-esq mutant began to speak again. "I don't mind simple livings. I rather enjoy it actually, but," Speaking softly now, barely above a whisper, "I...I don't know what a....power tool..is...." His voice trailed off and he backed up slowly, which put his back fully against the wall. She gave Streak's hand a squeeze to let him know she'd be right back.
"Hey now." she smiled. "That was just a joke, I'm sorry." she blushed a little red, embaressed that she made him feel ousted. "Come on now, no more of that, We welcome you here power tool or not." she reached out a hand as he backed into the wall and without waiting for a responce she took his and gave him a little tug into the sunlight. "Now I'm sure you're used to hiding, and I'm afraid it might come in handy out there in the real world but here..." she paused to move her hand along the skyline and show him how many strange looking mutants that were now here. "here... you can be yourself." she turned to him and gave him a reassuring smile. She could sense that he was spiritual, because Raina was spiritual... it was something she could pick up in others just by the way the held themselves and spoke. It made her feel good. "I see you've got wings... and I'm going out on a wild limb here and thinking you can maybe camofloge yourself a bit? We could really use a look out right now. It would be a great way for you to meet the other mutants but you could also give us a headsup on the progress the robots are making, if anyother mutants are coming in, or if anyone suspicious is here."
It was then that Neena being led off by Ruby said "A work contract, eh? Hmmm. I think that could be arrang-" Raina gave a laugh.
"We'll chat about it later Neena." She turned her attention to her friend. "You think on that, I'll be right back I need to catch up with a few people." she gave a friendly wave and smile and trotted off back to Streak.
Streak had a few questions of his own. I never saw you there. You look good." Streak walked around her this time taking in her appearance. "You look healthy and like you're getting better still. Where'd you go? Who were you with? What'd you do?" He began asking her question just as fast as Raina had been asking him some. "Oh, yeah. Who's the fox over there? I think she gives your hair a run for its money." Streak said finally stopping back in front of her and smiling, satisfied with how she looked.
"I'm sorry" she apologized. "I didn't seem to have much choice about what was happening back at the labs. Naveed and Flloyd sort of took over. I don't remember much until a few weeks ago." she admited. She looked him over with a furrow of her brow sincerely upset that she had missed out on so much. She was thankful he hadn't died and it was written all over her face. He really did feel like a younger brother. She was lost in her thoughts until Streak made a joke about the fox. She perked up. "Oh that furry one following Neena? I think it's Emerald Lupin's sister Ruby. Not 100% sure." she laughed. "I think all of those sisters have some sort of canine transformation mutation. I haven't met the eldest."
Raina heard a newcomer now, "Hello. My name is Iesland Mujave, and I've come to live at the X-Mansion. Do you need some help or something with the repairs?" She'd been surveying Streak a bit more when Iesland introduced himself. She turned on her heels. She didn't even really have enough time to let her mind process his mutation- this place was filling up fast and people needed jobs to do.
"Hello Iesland." she replied unsure if she should hold out a hand for him to shake or not. "My name is Raina, sorry about the state of things." she blushed a little and pushed her hair out of her eyes. "We'd love to have you live here but until we get 'here' fixed you're stuck with our new good friend Jerimiah " she pointed to the gargoyle man "helping us fix the place up if you dont mind" she gave him a welcoming and reassuring smile.

Streak followed Raina over to where the gargoyle mutant was hiding. Streak used his powers to cover his entire body for a little bit as Raina mentioned having strange looking mutants. He then changed back to himself and listened to Raina explain about Naveed and Flloyd not giving her a say in much matters. That probably had something to do with me keeping Raina at the camps longer then they wanted her to be there. Streak thought.
I haven't met the eldest."
"That's ok. I'm all better now, still a little sore but all better." Streak could tell that she was glad he hadn't died, even though he was pretty close to it when he arrived at the labs. "So, that's Ruby? Never met her before. I met Emerald at the camps, she was acting a little out of control." Streak said remembering how she was at the break out.
Streak was glad to hear that Raina wanted to stay here and work. It would be great to have her around and maybe even take some lessons from her. Since the camps they seemed more like brother and sister than just friends. Just then another mutant walked up to the mansion with four arms. Streak was almost immediately reminded of the guy from Mortal Combat with four arms.
"Hello Iesland." she replied unsure if she should hold out a hand for him to shake or not. "My name is Raina, sorry about the state of things." she blushed a little and pushed her hair out of her eyes. "We'd love to have you live here but until we get 'here' fixed you're stuck with our new good friend Jerimiah " she pointed to the gargoyle man "helping us fix the place up if you don't mind"
After Raina had introduced herself Streak stepped in and said. "Hi, I'm Streak." He held out a silver arm to greet him. It always seemed to explain some things about him, or at least he hoped it did. "Don't mind the mess were just doing a little remodeling." Streak said jokingly and smiled.

As Iesland looked for Jerimiah, not able to see him, he realized that Raina hadn't looked twice at his arms. This mad him feel quite welcome. When he finally saw Jerimiah standing by the wall, his now cheery mood allowed him to take in his mutation without a pause in his introduction.
"Hi, I don't know if you heard, but my name is Iesland Mujave. What's yours" After a second of furious writing, Iesland held out his two right hands for an instant before quickly whipping one back.
Her eyes looked upon the mansion as she saw the wreckage. She was so disappointed in herself for not doing anything in the past weeks. It seemed like everyone had it under control so she kind of just became quiet. Though she had been training abit more in the weapon and fighting department. Even her dream power seemed somewhat stable. LOoking around she was wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans, her blue nike's looking a little dirty. She slowly began to step in what was her home. Opening it,she saw Raina and emerald. Familiar faces,at last. Walking up to them, she gave them a smile and a hug. She hadn't seen Geo and was really worried. She had been thinking about him like crazy, even in her dreams. She just had to hope that everything would be okay.
It seemed like a dream but Nika was finaally back home at the mansion. Afterall, it was the only place she could call home. The people living here were her new family and she enjoyed the pleasant feeling it gave her. In some ways she wished she had grown up here to start with. Everyone was pretty friendly as well as helpful. At least from what she's been able to tell thus far.
Walking up towards the mansion she could see the damage from that horrible day when the humans and robots stormed in and captured as many residents as they could. Nika shook her head to throw off the images in her mind.
Stepping into the main hallway Nika could hear other voices and occassionally a different kind of robot would pass her by. They weren't the threatening monsters that the Stalkers were and they seem to be busy at work.
Feeling like lightening the mood Nika shouted out.
“I have reactivated about twenty of my robots they are working on the mansion right now. I activated them as soon as we got back. They have repaired a very small number of the dorms but they are just plain rooms since most of our furniture, clothes and stuff had been destroyed. We just have to repair all of the main rooms, hallways and the rest of the dorms.”
Neena nodded and mentally adjusted her list. She leaned back as one of the robots ambled by, as if on cue. So labor was covered, especially since more were arriving, she noted. Now they just needed supplies. Considering the anti-mutant feeling still permeating society, that was going to take some doing. Maybe 'underground' doing....
“Oh and I’m doing okay…mostly. Emmy is out though…she has been out a lot lately. I kind of miss her when she leaves from two to three days at a time.”
Neena frowned and shook her head. "That's not good. Let me know if she comes back soon. I think we need to talk."
A new voice reached her ears, and she turned to see several new bodies. She recognized Dream right away, though the expression on her face was far from as happy as the last time she'd seen her.
"Honey, I'm home!" That familiar voice came from within the building. Laughing, Neena stood and walked over to the little group. She paused, and placed her hands on her hips, grinning.
"And its about time. Come on kiddos, let's get this place jumpin' again!" She held out her hand to the new boy, taking note of the four arms. "Neat mutation. Is it just about the arms?"
<"Gah, that right! I gotta find the New Resident forms again!"> she thought silently. If new possible residents were going to arrive, highly likely, she needed to find out mutations, ages, all that stuff. Things were going to be busy with the Rebuild; new residents might get backlogged..... Unless....
<"Okay, take care of it later. First things first.">
Neena pulled out her pad again, and addressed the group.
"Okay kiddos, let do this all organized like. First things first, let's start clearing out the mess inside. Show the garbage man how much we love 'im. We've already got rubble piles around, we need to go through them and find what's still usable, utill we can get some decent supplies in. That includes wood, brick, wire, string, tools, whatever you can find. We also need to start pulling carpet, and finding cleaning supplies. Don't want mold to set in, and all that good stuff. We also need blankets and pillows for those who will be staying overnight. Gonna be kind of cramped for a bit, so try not to make enemies on day one." She winked to show she was kidding.
"And we need food. Y'all look like toothpick, you're so skinny!" She glanced at Raina and Streak. She thought she'd felt Raina's collarbone under that jacket. "Anyone know where the grill and lighter fluid ended up?"
She continued to spew out a string of things needing to be done. Finally she paused and took a deep breath. She grinned widely at the group.
"All right, let make this happen."
With that she headed inside, making her way toward Tricity's office, to see what conditions the files were in.

Mettaliar smiled and waved to Neena and felt glad he didn't walk into a crowd of strangers, with him being the shy one he is. He listened into some of the conversation about the rebuilding, but the convo began to take a turn for the high-tech stuff, and left Mettaliar lost. He decided to help clean up the area. He looked around to see if he could recognize others, yet he could not.
The sound of Neena's voice made Nika smile as she was looking at some of the new arrivals. She had seen Dream before but never really got to know the girl.
With Neena's guidance Nika eagerly began helping in cleaning up. She helped carry out some of the heavy stuff and giggled after about the 6th time outside.
"Boy the garbage man better bring a few trucks with him this time."
Ted wandered through the gates, holding Natalie's hand. "What happened here?" He looked about in confusion. "I'm fairly sure that we remembered to fix this; what happened whilst we were gone?" He wasn't speaking to anyone in particular, but was speaking loud enough that hopefully someone nearby would notice and respond. He took note of those present; Neena was organising things, and trying to keep a bunch of new students in order. They were getting new people already? Wow.
So this was the mansion? To be honest, she was expecting alittle more than a pile of rubble. She'd heard the xmen in the camps talking about a raid, but didn't realise that it was that bad. She tugged Ted by the hand, "Let's go see if we can help." She flitted over to Neena, pulling Ted after her. "Need help with anything?" She floated a couple feet off the ground, happy to be flying again. She could barely keep herself on the ground; she hadn't realised how much she missed flying.

Iesland jumped and whirled around as a distintlcy womanly voice drifted across the lawn to him, interruptning his introductions. Like it made a diffence, Jerimiah was'nt responding anyway.
"Whaa.. Arms?... OH YEAH" Iesland was used to his arm that it tooim a bit to realize what she was talking about. "Nah, im prety strong and fast with em too. Pretty dexterious. My name's Iesland Mujave, what's yours?"

Raina took in Neena's instructions and spotted Ted. She gave a wave. "Hey Furbal!" she joked. "Hows about you and me and your lady friend trying to russle up some food and a grill?" she gave a playful grin and took a stance with her hands on her waist. She recognized Natalie from back in the camps though she didn't know her very well. "Up for the challenge? Im starved. Even if we don't find anything we'll go buy something." she pulled out Flloyd's credit card.
On a return trip back inside the mansion to gather more trash Nika saw Ted along with Natalie. She was the girl who tried to heal the wounds from the Stalker robot. A moment later Raina popped in. It was so wonderful to see everyone coming back to the mansion.
"Hey guys! Welcome back home."
Raina's mention of food had an almost instant effect on Nika's tummy as it began to grumble. She couldn't wait to eat good food again. That mess in the camp was horrible.

Mettaliar followed others into the remains of the mansion. He looked around with a sort of depressed feeling. He felt sick, even. He couldn't stand lookign at his home in this state. Not even the Iris freakout wrecked the mansion this much.
Mettaliar leaned against a wall and looked around to see if anyone was looking. When he saw that no one was, he reached into his trench pocket and took out a cigar. He cut it with a cutter in his other pocket and put the end to his mouth. Taking out a large match book, he struck a match and lit the cigar. He winded out and threw away the match and began puffing on the cigar. He slowly blew the smoke out and looked out into the distance, his hazel eyes gazing out into nothing. He had to relax, and this was one of the best ways to do that.
