The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

After being in the fight with stalkers, Mandain was up for some rest, in his room at the Labs was not much to do, all there was was a closet, a bed and a sink so clean yourself up. The mood around the labs was grim, and the day's passed by. He couldn't wait to meet this Mason Lee character, and get to know more about his companion Horus. He had a good feeling about the meeting, he was anxious for answers.
The day finally came, he had to meet Mason Lee at in New York, Warehouse 15, Samsom street. At the moment it was 10 am, only 5 hours left till the meeting. Mandain cleaned and shaved himself, and as usual he got in his suit. "You going still? Good idea is not, stay this man dangerous he is" Horus clearly did not want Mandain to go out and meet this man. What was Horus trying to prevent? Mandain did not listen to the talks of Horus, Mandain's decision was final, let's meet Mason.
At the Lab's garage Mandain suited up in a leather suit, made to ride his bicycle that was customize by Hades for him. He put on his helmet and and got on, with a small touch of Ion the motor started, and off Mandain was. "Do you have clearance?" There was a guard stationary at the exit of the labs, but Nigel had given him clearance, so it was a quick call and Mandain hit the road.
The road was smooth, and Horus had shut his mouth. He did not try to prevent anything, maybe he wanted to meet Mason after all. There were no road block what so ever and the mood outside was grim. People faces were devastated by loss of fellow friends, mutants were put in camps but Mandain did not have any interest in the camps, his feelings for Raven were gone.
This was it, Warehouse 15, Samsom street. "Here go's nothing" Mandain went inside on his bike, prepared for nothing, all he hoped for was answers, but they would not be given.
'"Welcome welcome Mandain, I see you find your way here and it is truly a pleasure to meet the Host of Horus" Mason Lee, he was not to tall, and a bit fat. Would this guy have answer? Mandain got off his bike, and put off his helmet. As he approached Mason, Mason took a bow. Mandain stook at his hand and Mason gave a firm handshake, "Welcome, I do hope you don't mind that my crew is also here, just incase something might happen" Strange what could happen then Mandain thought "Going wrong is this" "Maybe we will see friend"
"Take a seat" Mason had a smirk on his face, an evil interesting one. He smiled like something was about to happen, and Mandain did not feel comfortable at all. "Id rather stand" as he blinked. "So as you know, you are the host for the Egyptian god Horus, I"ll get to the point, Horus need you to survive, he will protect you at any cost, he is you and you are him." Mason spook with ambition, and continued. "Horus is angry, angry at the keepers" "Keepers huh, what did they and who are they" Mandain spook with little aggravation. "We are the keepers" Mason laughed "Get em" Mandain's face turned pale as guns were pointed.
Mandain was cornered, but if there was no fight, then this was not Horus his style. He looked quick around the room, and there were 10 in sight. More likely there were others around but that was a worry for later. "Horus it's you and me, let's switch fast threw powers ok? Yes do that we will"
The guy left of Mandain was the first one to get hit by an ion beam, directed to him from Mandain's left hand. Instantly the other 9 started shooting triggering Mandain to react with his shield. Bullets that his were send back, causing huge damage killing several of the men, and even hit Mason in the leg.
"Damn you! Get that asshole Get him!" 3 guards jumped down from up above carrying some sort of eclectic stick, but Mandain was not stupid, Horus took over in a split second drawing his sword and smashing it into the floor, making his bug friends awake. The guards looked frightened seeing the smile on Horus his face, and the high pitch noise from beneath the surface. 5 seconds later they were history as a big hand of scarabs came and ate them alive leaving only skeletons on the ground.
"All got you, Mason Hahaha?" Mason layed injured on the ground crawling to reach a gun. Horus let him reach it and take an effortless shot at him. The bullet was send off his path by the tip of his sword.
"History you are, death sword by my hand" As Horus was ready to stick the sword in Mason his heart, Mandain took over to shoot an Ion beam to a near by ledge where a guard sat to make a move. "Nice try Mason, nice but not good enough" As Mandain turned around to strike the final blow, Manson got hold of an electric stick and struck Mandain hard and fast.
"Who do you think you are, a god? Don't make me laugh" He took a pause and spit in Mandain's face. "These were expandable crew, now chain him" Out of no where more keepers came, with whips this time.
One after another hit Mandain's back, harder and harder tearing off his clothes and skin. "You will not live Horus, I promise."
The whip slashed hurt like hell, and continued one after another. "Put him in the cell"
Mandain was stripped naked except for his boxers. He could not stand anymore and was dragged threw the mud outside to a cell. Not an ordinary cell, but one where jolts of electricity can be rushed through your body causing immense pain. "Let's strap you on so you won't get away hahaha" The keepers strapped Mandain in, he was put on some sort of bench, with wrist and feet bands, strapping him into the bench. One thing was put over his head, and it did not look pretty for Mandain. "Open your mouth scum, something for the pain" A wooden stick was forced into his mouth, something to bite on.
"Let's have a go" Mason walked up and triggered the switch. Electricity went thew his body. His eye's were wide open and screams could be heared even with the wooden stick in his mouth a lot of screams made it to the ears of the keepers. "Enough let him rot here, but keep an eye out."
Mandain and Horus were in life threatening danger, his sensitive caring side was disappearing, only death and vengeance went threw the mind of the both. Try after try Mandain tried to conjured up Ion to get the hell out of the chair, but every failed attempt was punished by 5 jolts of electricity, just enough to keep him alive. Horus also tried to get lose, but without his sword his attempts were useless. Mandain had lost track of time, it already could have been weeks he had been here, but he had no clue.
After a while the ions in Mandain body began giving off more energy then usual, a purple glow surrounded Mandain, and a second later there was no electricity. One Ion pulse apparently went threw the entire complex whipping out any electronic device. The chair that Mandain was in also suffered causing to let Mandain free.
Mandain got out of the chair, but his friendly face could not be recognized anymore. His face was a mess with cuts everywhere, his back arms and legs were no different. All he could think was vengeance, but if that was served, he likely would not survive.
Wow, that was subtle. Shade thought to himself as Abyss burst through the doors, turning them into a pile of sticks. The shadowy mutant had a bird's eye view of Abyss's destruction where he was, nestled in the rafters of the warehouse. He grimaced slightly as he watched the big red mutant easily snap the neck of a poor human.
Ouch! That's gotta hurt. Well, I guess it's time for me to join this party. Shade picked a spot slightly out of the way of Abyss's path of destruction, choosing a darken spot between two storage containers. Glancing out, the invisble mutant saw two keepers hurrying towards their death by the hands of a certain red mutant. Shade just couldn't help taking them.
The one furthest away suddenly fell to his knee when a black dagger tore into his knee from the invisble assassin. The remaining keeper only had time to turn and watch as Shade leapt from the shadows and burying another knife into his chest. At the sounds of his fellow keeper dying, the first one looked up only to have a foot crash across his face.
"Nighty, night, friend." Shade said while crouching over his victim, a sadistic smile dancing across his face. Straightening up, the hooded mutant began looking for his next target.
Horus had taken over the body of Mandain. His furry was more then you could imagine, he might have been weakened, but he could still fight. 5 keepers came charging at the angry Horus, who now had retracted his sword from his arm, and tapped 3 times on the floor. A flood of scarabs made it to the surface eating and slamming those poor keepers into the wall.
Somewhere in a distance he heard a familiar voice, it was Abyss, good thing he came though that was not what Horus thought. He was in a state of mind that so far everything he saw would be destroyed. A brave keeper now faced him, brave but foolish, his death would be more painful then those scarabs. Horus raised his sword, point pointed to the keeper and seconds later his skin was burning and pealing off. "Foolish and fragile"
His sword scraped over the floor making leaving sparks behind, his face had an evil smile carved on his face. The scars and bruises on his body and face mad him almost unrecognizable, but his evil laughter was still there. Security lasers that popped out of the roof were also no match, one switch back to Mandain, some ion, and gone were the lasers, no sweat. The search was for Mason Lee, that bastard would serve hell forever.
The main force of destruction came from the near invincible seven red beat that were tearing their way across the facility. Shade was just there to take care of a few keepers the big red mutants missed. Three of those crazy cultists had taken up a position behind some crates and were preparing to fire their assault rifles on Abyss and Horus. Shade doubted they could do serious harm to the mutants but just in case...
The shadowy mutant was behind the trio in an instant. He kicked the first's leg out from under him and ended his life with a knife to the throat. The other two recovered quickly from their shock, the closest one taking a swing at Shade's head. Ducking quickly, the mutant leg swept the guy to the ground before the second smashed his rifle butt into Shade's face. The hooded mutant staggered backwards off balance as he entered a shadow disappearing from view.
The keeper opened fire into the shadow hoping to shoot the now invisble mutant. Shot after shot rang out in the chaos as the keeper emptied his entire clip into the shadow. A sigh of relief escaped the from the man as there was no response from the shadow. Suddenly, his face tighten up and his breathe shortened as a black knife stuck into his back. A second later, Shade appeared from behind the man.
"You missed." The evil mutant whispered into the dying man's ear before he plunged another back into his lower back. The man fell forward, his blood mingling with the other dead keepers.
Slowly but steady Horus was getting to the point form where he heard the voice of his friend. The walking went slow, just to keep himself up he had to use his sword as support to lean on. In a distance a fight was going on, and keepers were flying round and round.
It seemed there was another mutant, but did he came for me with Abyss, Horus did not trust the situation and started tapping on the floor with his sword. With every tap his life was flowing out of is veins, every breath he took his head became heavy and heavier. The scarabs that broke up the floor and came to the surface were screeching a high pitch note, it was surly not a pleasant sound. The scarabs were concerned about their master, if he were to die, so would they and then they would be extinct once again. The swarm of bugs around Horus was impressive, and if something were to attack a shield of scarabs would spurt up protecting its master. "Died I ain't yet!" Horus shouted with his sword high up in the air, but seconds later he fell to his knee's.
Keepers turned around redirecting their attention over to Horus that was squatted and searching for air. They ran over trying to strike the final blow. Ignorant fools it were, the scarabs did their work and all that was left after seconds was a skeleton.
Packmaster came into the room, snarling. He had heard the fighting while he was wandering around the area, and had smelled a couple of the people who had been at the Order Meeting. Abyss and Shade were Pack, and the fact that they were fighting, meant that he was too.
Five wolves followed him in, each leaping a a different man's jugular. Packmaster himself leaped at them, his claws and fangs bared.
It appeared that the order for the straining of the cement floor red had nearly been fulfilled. With the absolute carnage from the seven red mutants, large pools were combining to form a lake of blood. Shade grimaced as a man's head was crushed.
"That's going hurt in the morning." Shade joked, chuckling to himself. He stopped as he saw a frightened human try to escape through what used to be the doors of the warehouse. The man had somehow slipped pass the red brutes although his face and side were covered in blood, likely from one of his fellow keepers that had not been so lucky. Shade watched the man almost made it to the door. Packmaster and his wolves seemed preoccupied at the moment so...
The man could taste the sweet air of freedom. He would never have to live under the shadow of the keepers any longer. Maybe he could even go back to his home town, see if his high school love was married yet. Maybe she was single. This brought a smile to the man's face. However a second later, his face turned to horror as he felt the dagger pierce his sternum and tear into his aortic artery. No! How could this be? It was his moment of salvation! He was going to be free! The man felt weakness spread through his body as blood loss overcame him and he fell to his knees.
Who did this? Who had stolen the rest of his life from him? Who had never allowed him to feel true happiness? Then a shadowy figure appeared from the darkness outside. Just the man's head was there, floating with no body attached to it. And on the man's face, a smile. The shadowy figure was smiling as the last remaining blood drained from the man's veins into his interiors and onto the floor. Who was this man?
The keeper would never know, he died as Shade watched on, that evil smirk smeared across his face.
Mandain's senses were all tangled and with the hurting not doing any more good to this matter, he saw the one who caused those nights of pain, nights of tears, nights of bitterness. His eye's could barely be kept open, and when he focused he saw a red man mutilating his enemy. The one he wanted to kill was being dealt with by somebody else. The sword was dropped on the ground. Mandain was in charge and had no interested in Horus his powers or voice. "Friends they are, leave alone them will you" "SHUT UP HORUS! You gave me pain and anger now let me deal with it!" Mandain's head was spinning around while he shouted those words. A few keepers were left, but others were taking care of that. He had no clue of that was going on anymore, friend or enemy... they were all a target. "LET HIM GO, HE'S MINE" an ion beam was directed to the red man holding Mason.
Mandain fell to the ground and crawled his way to the dieing Mason, with inch he moved he died himself. When reaching Mason Horus took over and shoved his sword into Masons heart. "Death serve us may both" With Horus speaking his last words Mason, Mandain & Horus both died, in peace.
( Ooc: Well this was it for Mandain, you may take his corpse back to the order or let him here and let the whole building explode. Do whatever you feel like, this was my last post with him .)
Shade strolled back into the warehouse, a smile of content on his face. However, the mutant's eyes suddenly fell upon the lifeless body of Mandain, and his smile instantly vanished into a stone cold stare. The clones seemed pretty effiecent and Shade let them go about their business, cleaning his bloodied finger nails with a black dagger, having to pull one out every three seconds. Finally as they left, Shade followed and watched as the building went up in flames.
