The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

(OOC: As Hunter was only testing it's fair to assume you could guess he'd attack, but just remember for the future that Hunter give's no warning signal in his body language that would indicate an attack)
IC: Hunter was impressed by her choice of defence. The wall cracked under Hunter's fist as she teleported it to block. "Impressive," he said, "I apologise for the impromptue testing, but I needed to see how well you could defend yourself. None of the missions I send you on will be without a certain element of risk."
"Having determined what you will be doing, and that you can do it well, it is time to explain the ground rules. First, you do not tell anyone about your new job. If you need a cover to explain the sudden excess cash then I can arrange one, but under no circumstances are you to let people know what you really do. Second, when I contact you, you answer." Pulling out a rolex from his pocket he tossed it to her.
"That watch has an inbuilt untraceable comm link. Keep it near you at all times. When there is a message it will vibrate. Find somewhere private and press the button. You will eaither hear a recorded message or have a direct link to me. Now, do you have any questions?"
(OOC: Sure. ) As Hunter was speaking, Alexandra retransfered the piece of wall back to his original place. With her available hand, she caught the watch when Hunter threw it. She checked it bor a second then her eyes moved back to her boss. "I don't actually have to give to someone explanations about by cash income, but I'll keep it in mind." Alexandra spoke. Then, she sighed. "I have a question: you've said about you contacting me but what about when I need to contact you?"
In answer to Alexandra's question Hunter pulled out a mobile phone and tossed that to her. "It has a number that, if I am availible, you can contact me by. The number is one of many that gets through to me and while it would not be terrible if you lost it it would not be ideal. Before you ask why I don't just use the phone to contact you, a phone is more noticable than the watch if you are careful with it."
"A watch vibrating could be an alarm, a phone vibrating is someone trying to contact you," Hunter explained, "As you will have gathered by now secrecy is paramount. Discovery cannot yeild any posative results. You must ensure that you are not discovered working for me."
"I wasn't planning on asking." Alexandra said, smiling, as she took the phone. "You must learn that I'm not a curious person. I need the basic info." she continued as she put the phone down on the table. "As for your other concern, have faith in me, I won't let anyone find out about you, or my job. I know what happens when people tell too much." she said, lowering her look for a moment. The Underground was destroyed because people couldn't keep their mouth shut. "Anything else I should know, Hunter?" she continued as if the memory meant nothing. Sometimes, even she believed that now it didn't matter anymore.
Hunter smiled at Alexandra's comment of only needing the basic info and not needing to ask further questions. "I like your attitude," he said, "I feel you and I will get on very well. As for futher infomation, you are free to roam the city as you please, just be careful and I'll contact you when I need you."
"Now, unless there are any other questions I shall take my leave. It was a pleasure meeting you Alexandra, I look forward to working with you in the imminent future." With that Hunter turned and headed for the door. He was most happy with the latest Kabal recruit.
Alexandra nodded. She was excited that she could finaly get out of this apartment. "Nothing else, Hunter. But I have to inform you that I need a new id and money as I've lost mine when fighting the stalkers." she informed him while she was walking along with him to the door.
"Here," said Hunter pulling out an envelope and handing it to Alexandra, "An all new ID (OOC: You can pick a new name if you so choose) and a credit card that will allow you access to your account. The current balance is half a million, your yearly salary."
With that Hunter bid her farewell and left. He had things to do, people to see and a law to change. Alexandra was well enough set up for now that she could be left to her own devices without worrying that she'd become a liability.
Alexandra took the envelope from Hunter's hand and couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at hearing the numbers. She said her good byes to Hunter and closed the door behind her. Bitting her lower lip, she went to the closed to dress herself. She had a lot of things to do today.
